Canada and California are woke and leftist.\nCanada and California are losing people in high numbers.\n\nAny correlation there?

Trudeau has literally destroyed Canada if he stays I will have to seriously think about leaving I’m disgusted in my country

I agree many of your points but some are slightly off base. You need to understand that the price of ..let’s say telecom is built in a linear topology so that there are much fewer regional centres across the country to spread the cost of infrastructure. This is true for the railway..trans-Canada highway…air transport..and yes telecom network.\n\nSecond..it’s kind of ironic that you are enthusiastic about new immigrants soon coming into the country…but then you immediately talk about a housing shortage..with construction way behind….so with that being the reality…how is this immigration wave going to affect an already overloaded / overpriced housing situation across the country?

Most Canadians live in Toronto and Vancouver. But those are some of the least beautiful places in Canada. I think the territories are the best. Nahanni National Park, Dempster Highway, and very few people.

The writer and most of the people who gave yes to this article will rush to Canada if they get a work or long stay visa. Some of the yes people may be from countries who have developed a bad relationship with Canada.

Took a fishing trip to Canada and our guide told us how frustrating the Country has been for them, in a region very remote, it was essentially neglected

Canada is a safe country for Sikhs ????

Canada was not like this before Trudeau. Trudeau has turned Canada into a third-world country, and he's not done. Plus, he is bringing in millions of illegal immigrants, mostly muslims . Nothing but ungrateful trouble maker's. If you want to live under a communist dictator, then come here . But bring a tent and be ready to live outside in minus 30 weather . Winter is here, and there is no place to go.

Dear Honorable Minister, \nI will request our Canadian immigration and Canadian border security to stop issuing visas and bringing more Indian students and work permit holder. We don't have more spaces and jobs to accommodates.. They are big burden to local governments. \n One of my job collage born here and her family was born here, she was crying and complaining about her kids can not get jobs at Wendy's of Tim Hortons bcuz all local Canadian students jobs are taken over by Indian students. what a Shameful and she was so upset. \nShe said Canadian citizens need to get priority to get local gas stations or fast food restaurants or super stores jobs, IT related jobs instead of international student. \ninternational students after work drive fast and don't follow traffic rules. \nImmigration Canada needs to check completer back ground ,every single Indian student or work permit visa holders. Some of them could be Indian secret services agents, they could be cause more trouble for Canadian citizens and Sikh \nMost of Indian Hindus are inspired by Modi's party BJP and RSS terrorist organization was involved in killings of Indian Christian , Muslims and other Indian minorities. \nThanks for your time \nGod Bless our beloved country Canada.

One of the sweetest videos I've come across on Canada. No negativity or hate-mongering, just facts as it is in the simplest of ways. I've been living here for almost 3 years now- and I'm used to being alone, but I still find the void maybe its seeing your own people back home. I'd say it's quite a struggle to live here and you start to accept it as a norm. But I love motorcycling and I am overwhelmed by the natural beauty- did some amazing rides in summer, but unfortunately winters are here now. While I have three years on my OWP, I'd use that time to gain more experience, travel across the beautiful landscapes and head back home. I don't see myself settling in here- not my kind of life. I am very adaptive and have come up on my own in life from a very tough childhood- I love Canada for what it is, but then it's just not for me.

The best time to be in Canada was between 1967- 1997. Now things have deteriorated in Canada to such an extent that it resembles a 3rd world country.

Of course, the Palestinians don't want to leave Gaza. it's Paradise. Half a dozen different peoples consider Palestine their ancestral homeland. Things don't work out there's a little thing called a diaspora where they travel to other places in the world and set up quite remarkable lives. Millions of Muslims live in the US Canada Britain Europe and none of them are thinking boy the minute this little dust-up in Gaza is over we're setting up shop with the remnants of Hamas.

I had the opportunity to emigrate to Canada circa 2015/2016, but choose UK(Edinburgh) instead. I don't regret is for a second, lovely people, affordable -I live 15 miles outside of the city, people are great and plenty of destinations are 2-3hr. flight away.

Oh please, you people are spoiled whiners that want to be spoon fed. Try working for peanuts in third world countries and all of a sudden canada is a cake walk with icing you can actually enjoy?

to get a good pay job in Canada, companies requires references, and new immigrants have no choice but to look for a low pay salary minimum wage and I feel that's a conspiracy on the new immigrants

I would encourage Canadians to get involved more in politics and demand changes to the system. Housing is high in Canada due to lack of building permits and blue collar laborers. Canada accepted a high rate of white collar skill immigrants but lack job opportunities for them. Vancouver economy is tourism dependent while Alberta is energy base and Toronto financial base. Healthcare is available for every Canadian but salaries are low in the industry compared to US. The government should encourage companies to invest in Canada and create jobs for the economy. Since the tax rate in Canada is higher compared to the US, citizens should ask themselves if the money is going to good use and generating jobs in the economy.

For context Statscan reports that population grew by 430,000 (0.5%) in Q3. In the same period 32,000 left. These are permanent residents and by definition exclude international students. On the other hand 42,000 actually left Canada in the first 6 months of 2023 this is in addition to the 94,000 who left in 2022 and 86,000 who left in 2021. More people talk about leaving than those who actually act on it.

Leave the canada alone. This is one side of the story other side of the story is that indian students are involved big time in crimes from fighting stabbings to fraud everywhere in canada ?? and that's a serious situation at Brampton and Vancouver and other places now .

Canada is run by a bunch of authoritarian thugs. Trudeau gets all his instructions from the WEF
2023-12-18 0
How comes, that 2% is considered as high??? There are still 98% who stay in Canada.\nIf the Canadian government thinks, that the country needs immigrants, then people will come. If not, then not.\nWhat is the point of this video?
2023-12-18 0
Another reason, and the most important is that is Canada is becomming a woke, anti free speech ,autoritarian ,..etc government( like Australia and other Commonwealth British ruled countries)
2023-12-17 0
There is no one reason why people are leaving but the main reason is there has been a massive change in Canada in 20 years to include a lot of foreign gangs and foreign government interference

Symptomatic of Canada is the fact that on average Government employees earn 20% more than those in equivalent jobs in the private sector, they retire will fully indexed pensions equivalent to their 3 highest salary years (private sector employees must pay for their own pension or try and live off the universal pension of $1,200 per month from CPP), their benefits and vacation time are unmatched by the private sector. It is workers in the private sector and the companies that employ them who pay all the taxes required to compensate the most overpaid and bloated government service in the world. As a result, Canada's private sector is no longer competitive. It is a country where parents no longer encourage their children to find a high pay job in the private sector, they instead encourage their children to either move to the USA (if they're ambitious) or secure a government sector job. THIS IS THE PROBLEM WITH CANADA. and God help you if you're born in Canada as a Caucasian Make your change of securing one of these high paying government jobs is close to zero.

I live in Japan and don't regret selling my house last year in BC with the intention of not permanently living in Canada again. The healthcare system is much better here. Food is delicious and cheap...and no tipping. Houses are 1/4 of the price, with good houses for as little as....free...if you don't mind fixing them up a bit. It is safe and a short trip by public transportaion gets you either downtown or in the middle of nature. What happened to my country? Oh.....Canada.

Canada brought way too many immigrants from India. We need to stop immigration from there immediately.

I wonder if the reason so many in so many places believe that medical care is a problem is actually a matter of expectations. I know that in the 90s, my little town in Kansas had as many imaging machines as the entire country of Canada, but Canadians were certain they had superior medical care, as did the English. Expectations.\nEven then, if something was so bad that only a silver bullet treatment would possibly help, they still send patients to the USA because they are not equipped to help. Quiet management.\nBut basic medical, especially if you don't have much money, was traditionally better in England. I don't think Canadians had choices, but the functional reality was similarly better than in the States. Expectations.\nFor some time, Americans have had a sense that miracles are practical things that happen all the time, just pull out all the stops to keep grandma in agony another week. This has been reinforced by the civil courts. It is dangerous to be a doctor who does not recommend EVERYTHING be done to prolong life, even miserable life. Insane expectations that waste a lot of money. \nBut basic medical? Just shut up and go to work. Expectations.\nA century ago, there were no significant differences in expectations amongst developed countries because the expectations, based on the technologies of the day, were the same. Plus, there was only so much that could be done, so the total costs of everything were predictable and could be paid for publicly or privately less angst or disappointment. Expectations.\nWhen the technologies change like they have been in medicine in this century, it's good guess that so do expectations. It's also a good bet that there is a mismatch between expectations and available resources. Broken system.

No offence to new immigrants but if you came here past 2018 you should not be allowed to buy a house until house prices get back to sane levels. I was born in raised in a small town surrounded by farmland in Ontario and the average cost of a home is now 700k. 20 years ago it was 150k. No one I grew up with can afford a home, I'm sorry but Canadians first. Other countries seem to care way more about their own people waaaay more than here. I feel like Canadians are constantly the ones who just have to suck it up. Its absolutely nonsense. Either something has to happen or I, and many Canadians in the same position will leave. Canada sucks at the moment, do not come here! Almost everyone I talk to who is born here agrees, lib, con, ndp, doesn't matter what political party they usually vote for, they want immigration to stop, and homes to be built. We're at the breaking point.
