It's absolutely disgusting how ignorant so many people are - many of them white and unfortunately Indians themselves. And then you idiots ask why Sikhs criticize India, you can't even support your own people. And these same white white people probably protect their amendment to carry guns like no tomorrow. Fucking hypocrites. Shame on you all.
2022-10-03 0
Fine, but I have literally never seen a Sikh carrying a kirpan like that. I had many Sikh classmates in the UK and India and never seen this. What people was he planning on protecting with the kirpan and from what?
2022-10-03 0
Kirpan has been a concern in India as well, this might be reasonable route to take in India as well. Most people are good. peace whatever.
2022-10-03 0
If people in India are opposing Hijaab in educational institutions then why are these same people supporting wearing Kripan . We respect every culture but these practices should be strictly prohibited from educational institutions

In india sikh muslim keep knifes without license india need to have law for these thing as an ammuture user can harm people around. Where in the world people have freedome to have knife ?? expect india
2022-10-01 0
Maybe he has religious intentions but we need to understand its not India, its USA and they have their own laws + there are many many incidents where school shooting happens or people get killed by things so people are scared of anything that they think can harm them. I am not saying calling police on someone is right just bcz they are following religion but we need to know where to follow your religion. Applies for india too, we can't take kirpan in colleges in india, can we?
2022-10-01 0
The same people go on to support khalistan. They never really understood India.
2022-09-30 0
U people don't under estimate your country INDIA????????????????????????????. You had got the strength to go any where on the globe from your motherland India.....whenever any crisis occurs abroad YOUR motherland INDIA will cry for her Son of the soil and will call u back to return home.....than you people will cry in sorrow....
2022-09-30 0
It's not wrong on the part of Cops. This is new to them . When they'll get to know that it's been going for so long , they'll consider it acceptable. After all Kirpans are even allowed at Airports in India . Everyone trust Sikhs . Sikhism shares love among all people.
2022-09-28 2
Indians should not feel any pain after watching this video, I do not feel any bad learning that people become anti-national as soon as they get visa of Canada and US, they go there and become Khalistani and shout anti-national slogans against my india
2022-09-28 0
People do anything in name of religion it should not be allowed in Universities if you so want to practice your region go in your country or region where this is allowed, I really don't think it is allowed in India. This man is Sick
2022-09-27 20
Feeling bad for the guy but also this is a subtle reminder of how India is indeed the one country one gets to practice religion without people getting offended. \nAnd for that, India deserves respect.
2022-09-26 0
so in US they will not going to protest..but if it happens in INDIA they will surely...i don't know why people become so tolerant in US. And kirpan is a weapon for self defence not any religious importance as such...and if it has importance then it's better to carry one made from plastic so that other people don't scare of it.

Her problem was I'm guessing, INDIANS TRY TO BRAG ABOUT THEIR CULTURE AND EVERYTHING BUT IN THE END THEY DO ANYTHING FOR SOME AMERICAN VISA ?. and still they are great!??yuck bro... maybe that's y they are angry because I saw many people in u.s say our India is this and that but in reality NOTHING. India is destroying itself with its own caste ism. No where in future India will be a safe country for western people. ?.
2022-08-26 0
She is not American as well... but America was discovered in search of India ... how many people know this ...

I did work with a man from India who used to go home every 3 years or so to visit his family.\nAll they wanted to know had nothing to do with life in Canada, or the people, or how clean and safe it is or if it is boring.\nThey wanted to know one thing and one thing only.\nYes you got it...\nThe guy was getting of the plane, getting down the stairs and his family was waiting at the bottom yelling: 'HOW MUCH MONEY ARE YOU BRINGING???????'

In visa division of consulate general of india to newyork, theres a counter for people to submit the phones and get a token, before they enter the respective divisions... They took the phone with them, and they are recording the whole thing. Embassies and consuls are sensitive places and have security concerns. You cant take your little phine and record. The officer must have politely asked her to take away the phone. If she does as the officer adviced her, she may not even have the phone to record the situation right. Someone in the comments mentioned, selective journalism. It fits well.

2022-07-24 0
You are taking nonsense you can only get job in Canada from India if you know someone who is working in Canada otherwise no employer is hiring people from india
2022-07-04 0
Indian are usually sarcastically racist but if you are visiting India they will treat you like you are really special. They have a saying for this, they treat their guests pretty well. You might get some looks but Indians will never treat you like this Karen. Also isn't 1 in 5 doctors in USA an Indian, americans will have a health crisis if all these people decided to move back.

With these few people, the warmth, the love, the pain of partition will disappear in a few decades.. others won't understand and will keep fighting..?\nRead partition literature and if you've a heart you won't be fighting like monsters over India and Pakistan, hindu and muslim.
2022-06-15 0
You don't even have guts to visit India. Also India will become a super power in no time , see the number of soldiers we have , it's more than north America. Coming to technology we produce 1 million engineers every year. So now you do the math. We indians are racist to other people who live in South India or north india. But we are not racist to people from same state or same part of India.

I feel so bad for people who had to witness partition. They must be missing the other side so much. Even my grandparents migrated from East Pakistan and settled in India.

Pakistani punjabi's interest in India doesn't go beyond the indian punjab.\nWhen she says mera watan, for sure thts just the punjab india has. What do we care beyond tht than Our people, Our Lands.
2022-06-07 15
75 years apart still we are seeing these kind of people who remember migrating from India to Pakistan but few people start wars for pieces of lands
2022-06-06 3
Maara watan thi shook me to my core?❤?partition, truly was not merely a separation of people who lived like brothers, but was the division of hearts, be it in India or Pakistan, may everyone gets to live a peaceful life now, that's something which we can wish and pray now??????

Most racism exists within India, people get killed based on their religion, caste and what not. Being yelled at is probably the least of the racist behavior if you been in India. Even in some states, like maharasthra, north Indians were beaten for just being there and ‘taking up their jobs’….. mobs violently lynches and kill people for being muslim, or of ‘lower caste’…. Just last week a 65 year old man was beaten to death by a hindu, who suspected that this guy was a muslim. Turns out that he wasn’t a muslim.

I don't get why the hell people from our country Bharat ( India ) do go to these f****g countries despite having such a beautiful country Bharat. We have everything in our nation but still these stupid people have to migrate to racist country Like USA,Canada ,Australia and many more countries.

I'm an Indian living in India. People here dream of places like America and start saving money from a very young age. I think they don't know the true reality of the Western countries. Many of my relatives who go to these countries never come back. I think your point about getting used to it is also true. They never complain about the lonliness. They only praise it, saying that it's not as loud as India. But I don't think I'll be able to live such an isolated life.

I understand this fully as I came to Uk as a child 60 yrs ago. .. I feel the same way today. These western countries lack sense of community and neighbourhood... and spend most of their lives in loneliness thus leading to depression. 14 years ago my father passed away and I brought his body back to India .. as he loved coming and spending his retirement years back home in India.\nI miss him so much and also have started coming to india every year since his death.I’m also retired now. \nI have come to understand how people from our countries look forward to emigrate to make a better living and earn money without realising the consequences that this will have on our lives. \nThank you so much for this video.?

Boss, i stay in India and life here too is now as complicated as it is in the West, if not more! In today's urban India most of them don't know who their neighbours are/ don't interact with them for years together. Even amongst the neighbours, they keep in touch with each other via mobile phone (predominantly WhatsApp). Children avoid staying with parents and relatives at ALL costs to an extent where they even leave their natives/ immigrate abroad to achieve the objective. Work pressures at the Indian private sector is probably the highest in the world where most employees don't even have time to breathe let alone interact! Btw for those who argue that the Western society is highly depressed and immoral blah blah blah, lemme give you a reality check- India is almost about to become the dubious capital of depression of the world, divorces in Indian society is SO high that it's way too common now to see people who've been divorced/ married second or third time, people fighting marital disputes in courts for years and years and in most cases paying off the girls family hefty and mouth watering out of court settlements to achieve peace of mind......the list is endless......so where does an ordinary 21st century Indian achieve peace of mind and a peaceful life with a quality lifestyle to boot? It's obviously the Americas and Europe (mostly). It may seem ironic to some old timers, but it's the harsh realities of the world today.

Hi All, I'm from India. \nAah okk fine all this we also know. There are tonnes of videos being made and already available online regarding how tough life is in the west and how depressing it is there, how weird it is there blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.....my simple questions are:\n --- how come to this day 95% of folks who leave India for abroad shores NEVER come back???\n--- how come people are standing in endless queues for getting passports, work visas and Permanent Residencies in foreign shores???\n--- what prevents Indians to come back to India and live after making tonnes of money aboard \n--- if staying in such countries is indeed SO depressing, how come immigration is only increasing every year on year (inspite of covid)???\nCan anybody provide me with the answers rooted in reality please???

The whole of 12 odd minutes of this video didn't see a vehicle or human being or even a stray animal. All People seem to be dead like in the film Goldfinger where the whole town is poisoned with gas. \nOur India is slowly becoming like that with new generation becoming aloof and relations falling apart. Otherwise overpopulated india is very vibrant ,diverse people living together happily. Things are changing now . The central government had indeed handled covid situation very efficiently with blunders here and there. But compare with others india passes with distinction.

too to much indian people say that over population is not problem so you should go back to your country and you show them taht india is so beautiful

I am 85 years old and lived half my working life in Mumbai and another half in Virginia. Please DO NOT get confused with this video. Life in India and particularly in Mumbai has become extremely stressful and tiring with ONLY Negative vibrations. 24/7 is noisy, crowded, filthy, garbage all over the place, most of the neighbors are crook, no playground for children, no place for elders to relax, zero social life because everyone is running after the western lifestyle. I recommend ALL YOUNG PEOPLE TO QUIT INDIA. India is good if you know how to CHEAT, BRIBE, DO FORGERY, LIE, etc. Anyone who wants to have the QUALITY of LIFE SHOULD LEAVE INDIA IMMEDIATELY. Thank You,.

This is America darlin. It's not Africa, it's not India, it's not Pakistan. We were a prosperous, bountiful generous educated people until the globalists stir up conflicts all over the world, making refugees and robbing our wealth.. They have decimated safety and we now stay inside more, often out of fear. It's no way to live. However I would never leave my country , enter another country through their generosity , then talk smack about them.
2022-04-24 0
This video seems to really capture the reality of a typical America and the narration really crystalizes it. Even though it depicts a less urban setting, the same stillness can be found in cities and suburbs. It’s not what you see on Netflix or in Hollywood where there’s a story to be told and you do see a lot of human interaction from scene to scene. In real life America so many lead an isolated life indoors except for when one has to go to work or school. One explanation for this, however, is that community in America and many societies is not geographically determined. It’s structured around work, school, church, one’s immediate family if there is anyone and other kinds of civic associations. Loneliness really comes in when one does not belong to any of these “communities”. One’s geographical community (in a society like America’s) simply does not or cannot provide a sense of belonging. It provides physical and material comforts but not emotional or social sustenance, which has to come from those other types of associations. And I sense this is not just a Western world phenomenon. I think it’s happening everywhere and simply a fact of life wherever the vast majority of people living in any space have no family ties with one another. In a village or neighborhood setting in a place like India or Africa, you’ll have such liveliness on the streets and among neighbors because a lot of the people there are simply relatives of each other.

Come to India, you can never feel lonely..........billions of people, streets jammed with traffic, high density population, stray dogs, stray cows, continous honking from vehicles etc......it's a happening place I can tell you, it may seem chaotic at first but India will never feel boring and depressed and to mention each month there are some festivals, celebrations, fares and street foods......India acts like an anti-depressant

For a guy like me living in India, this is a sort of cultural shock! I never knew this side of US and Canada. I guess that’s something to do with the type of governance. It seems like it’s a baggage of capitalism. Focus on “you”. When India was socialist (still is, to a lesser extent than 90’s, people were more open. If a person was going to city from village, a dozen of villagers would accompany him till he boards the bus. That’s gone. Here, sometimes, the socialising is too much. You’ll be asked about personal questions like why are you not having a kid. When you’ll get married etc etc. Some people feel big cities are better. There is socialising but people mind their own business. I am so very glad that I was born and brought up playing and dancing on streets!!

This is very true. I am from India and lived in the US for a while, but it is really lonely and life really sucks there. \nThis was the first thing I missed when I was there. This also confused me as to whether you can walk on the road or not, since you saw no one walking.\n I would have been bored to death if I had continued living there. I also thought this is probably a key factor for the rise in drug usage. I pity the people in the west !!
2022-04-23 0
If you ask me, India has also become a lonely country. Unless you like to stay within a single community, religion, FAMILY etc. you become isolated. And cities are now full of tall apartment buildings where people are locked away. Same with gated communities everywhere and suburbs. Lonely people watching the world on TV.
2022-04-23 0
You are very right about staying inside culture. I stayed uganda botswana malawi india people do not like just stay inside. You will see people meeting outside neighbours.

Honestly I like this place..looks very quiet and peaceful..I'm from India and we also have lots of places like this especially government quarters or private industries quarters but the only difference is that we have more trees, houses were fenced and people are more social..I m blessed that I spent my entire life in such areas instead of some overcrowded congested places in Delhi or Mumbai loll..you will get to see the exact scenario especially during the day time in summers when people tends to be indoors but they comes out in evening everyday hanging chatting and playing around..and if you have some good friends then you really don't need any schedule lol..i still remember me along with my cousins and friends use to roam and wander around the locality even in the daytime in the scorching heat of summer when everyone was inside loll and we used to play volleyball or badminton till midnight..it was such fun and beautiful life..but unfortunately these days people are getting more reserved and more into themselves..

I am an immigrant from India. I have been in California for almost 8 yrs. I feel California is quite better in terms of socialization because of very mixed and vibrant communities . And yes strangers just randomly greet and talk to each other on the streets. In fact when I first came to USA, I was surprised to see people just randomly greet each other on the streets..which truly I have never seen back in India. In India we have been taught from childhood never to talk to strangers. And the reality is there are winds of change back home in India too. I am not talking abt the villages. They are completely different case. But even people living in small towns are now preferring privacy. And no.. its not because of foreign returnees. Even people living there for generations now don't want to socialize. Even in India now we have to request kids to go out and play..which to me is a very disturbing thing . All of them just want to sit at home and play games on their smartphones. In fact I find kids in USA prefer playing sports or other activities more than the kids back in India. It actually depends which part of the country u live in.... doesn't matter India or USA .

I've been to many cities across indias length and breadth for job and education. Every place I went, first thing I did was to befriend the neighbourhood tea stall/tobacconist (used to smoke back then) there's one at every corner. You visit that place regularly you share a laugh and a nod with other regulars. To the point they ask abt u if they don't see u for a couple of days. Then u add them on Facebook and see th living their lives for the rest of the life. \n\nWe talk to random people everywhere and in India atleast, a stranger is truly a friend you're yet to know. And that is what I love the most abt my country. And can't imagine living anywhere else.
