look students pays for thier tuition without government support, then they will work double time to make it happen, then after they are educated enough then canada can benefit with educated individuals, those who cannot make it will be deported or end up thier student visa, its a win win for canada, but for now i heard that the labor market in canada is flooded with students, from restaurants to hotels; manufacturing, love the young educated cheap workers. canada will not stop this because they need the population to grow and they benefit this a lot. This comparable to H1B visa in USA but the difference is those visa holder is paid accordingly when they are hired in the USA. So the US end up getting the best people to come to thier country because only the cream of the crop or the best are the only ones that can get H1B visa. not talented enough or having police record no H1B is a fact

I moved to Mexico & everything about my life is better not to mention the weather and the people here are friendlier & generous, the sense of history, culture & architecture is incredible so many different climates to explore. Healthcare can be free or there is different levels of private care & they currently have a government that is truly democratic & investing in the country & its people. Canada sucks. I came here as a doctor only to find endless blocks and hoops and loops. Before settling here I was told ENDLESSLY about the paradise I was about to move to (Canadians love to present their country as such), and how a job as a doctor would be there for me since I meet the qualifications. You come here and reality hits, this is a bureaucratic nightmare of a country! The lack of Canadian experience is also an excuse for discrimination. I speak four languages, worked in different countries including Colombia, USA, France. Somebody please explain to me what is so extraordinary about Canadian experience that one cannot learn elsewhere? BTW Canadian medicine is TERRIBLE, BAD! I am leaving in June, got a pretty good job lined up back home in Colombia!

Canadian here, from Vancouver. This is 100% true. Why do we accept so many immigrants? Because we have to. We can't afford to have our own kids. It's too expensive. As my kids are finishing their post secondary education, I'm going to suggest taking their edu and leaving Canada for the USA - higher wages, more affordable cost of living. It's actually simple math.

The NRA-funded CCFR and NFA meet weekly with the CPC leadership and policy people. The CPC is on the record as seeking to significantly relax gun control in Canada. The CCFR and NFA seek open and concealed carry of handguns, getting rid of background checks, getting rid of protections for battered women and ex-es. \nFrankly, the people in Canada who want less gun control have no choice but to vote CPC. (They can’t vote Liberal, Green, NDP, BQ.) Thus The CPC gains no vote by appealing to this demographic. By enacting USA gun laws, the CPC can only increase the murder rate, not their vote.

When you bring in hundreds of thousands of new people annually, of course there is going to be more housing shortages, more demand for housing thus inflated prices and more competition in the labor market. The USA has practiced this since 1965 and Canada is now seeing the problem.

The crime rate and violence are much higher in the USA than in Canada. I was born and I live in Montréal very happy and feeling very safe in my city and all over Québec. I don't know to who the Canada bashing is serving. Pretty sad, so much negativity that our country does not deserve.

Real estate in Australia is expensive because the nation is highly successful and ordinary citizens are wealthy, and this includes real estate, plus with 3 billion middle class Asian's right above Australia the Asian economy dwarfs the US economy to insignificance. Job opportunities are dictated by the fields the economy needs - oil is insignificant in Australia compared to other industries. Geographic Isolation - Thank god the rest of the world is far away, as an Australian I wish it was further away. Air fares prior to pandemic were reasonable USA to Australia around $800 return - but this guy lives in Perth so to go 4-5,000km to the east coast will be expensive - on the east coast a one way ticket to another city can be had for around $50 to $80 - Again for Australians proximity to the US market is not significant we are focused on the Asian region. Natural beauty anywhere is amazing but I prefer a warm climate over a frozen one - The Canadian population is all centered around the US/Canadian border region the rest of Canada like central Australia is vastly empty. In conclusion I find many immigrants want to move from Australia to Canada is proximity to the USA but for Australians the US market or lifestyle is not attractive or important.

A lot of immigrants use Canada as a jumping-off point to get into the States. They know Canada is a trash country but they're willing to suffer in the meantime. I know many immigrants who have came to Canada and are very educated, lots of experienced in their field, couldn't find the job. But they all move to the states and are getting paid very well. Going to the USA is prosperity land not Canada. That is a fact!

Born in Canada, raised a family of 4kids . After seeing lock downs, explosion of home prices, rapid inflation, 75% tax rate overall ( income Tax, Sales Tax, Gas Tax, Carbon Tax, property tax etc…) , very poor health care system , decided to pack up and move to South of USA. I really don't care that you're trying to make a better life for their family or for themselves in America stay away we are full if we weren't full and we had room for them I wouldn't care that they're coming to make a better life but when we don't have any more room you better get out of the country or stay away or they should find out what happens when they don't listen to the USA the country they want to come to.

Went to Canada 5 years ago. It was the first time I saw real poverty. Canada is not a great country. They just pretend they are. It helps when their big brother USA is even worse.
