Canada is no longer Canada. Canadiens are almost a minority in there own country. We have very large cities that we are a minority in. There is so much hate towards white people. FUK TRUDEAU. there is a major housing crisis because we have to many immigrants in a short period of time. Additionally, if we deduct the number of people who are not in the work force such as : children, old people, pregnant woman.... canada definitely doesnt have enough workers. International students are not the problem, the problem is Asylum seeks, illegal immigrants that bring nothing but burdens of every type that Canada does not need....

International students ARE NOT driving up home prices or rent...that's a supply/demand issue (plus the lack of control government has on landlords and how much they can charge for a specific unit) and it's also a foreign buyer issue (yes Chinese foreign buyers, who buy homes in Canada but never move-in and use it as the home as a savings account). Not the international students problem, when the government of Canada DEMANDS THESE STUDENTS NOT WORK FOR MORE THAN 20 HOURS A WEEK and then watches them struggle to pay for rent (and therefore have to live 2 or 3 to a room)...yeah, don't blame the students. BLAME THE GOVERNMENT for bringing these students here, handicapping them by limiting their work hours (minimum wage at that) and then turning around and blaming them for why homes are ridiculously expensive and rent is unaffordable. Yeah, don't blame the government for it's inability to build homes...don't blame the government, instead, blame the minimum wage international student...it's going to be interesting if this actually brings DOWN rent prices and home costs. Which it won't, at which point, the government is going to be pointing fingers at someone else. Like they always do. LOL.

Canada has been avoiding the root cause of the fertility rate issue instead of fixing it. Canadians are replaced with immigrants. Immigrants are used as cogs in the system. The government always finds a way to make things worse with its shortsighted policies.

I used to teach and coordinate programs for international nurse, this is spot on - and I have always wondered about Canadian students getting into programs - we need Canadian students who are talented and want to study but cannot afford it. There is so much i could unpack. In general, most of the students are lovely and hard-working, but the intent in most cases is to get a PR status - so most of them stay. Many also are disappointed with Canada - as they may come from a place where they were in a different social class. I know many of my students now are productive members of Canadian society working in their chosen fields. I am proud of them - as the move was not easy and they left their families behind. Considering that most of the world is a collectivist culture versus our individualist culture of the West, there is much to adjust to. Good piece.

My question is: why is it that 98.5% of international students come from one country? I remember when I was in high school working at McDonald’s etc now Walmart, Petro Canada, Tim Horton’s, McDonald’s are only hiring international students and only from one country too ?

Fedex, Adobe, Micron, Microsoft, Google, Western Union CEOs are all foreigners in USA. You cannot find a foreign CEO in Canada. Canada is a country where your life is wasted as immigrant. Listened to your vlog and I want to suggest few things as an immigrant myself... I am not sure of your detials but seems like your husband came back after 2 months leaving you there with family.. I have rarely seen any family settling abroad unless they have seriously burnt all there bridges back home.. if you start with a mindset that let's go and see and if doesn't work out we will come back 90% odds are you will go back.. firstly come with absolutely clear mind that no matter what happens you are not going back.. and you will make it here no matter what. The journey will become much easier and one directional.. Secondly you do not have to rely on any family abroad to move.. this is an other mistake people make.. they think they will have support but this support is actually a limiting option ... it doesn't let you get on feet quicker. Nobody can support you for long abroad and sooner than later you have to get on your feet. once you over stay your welcome you can start getting some unwelcoming vibes and then you get depressed thinking there is no one genuinely yours in this country.. you waste your initial time relying on your family.. better start without them in the first place and get going from day one.. and lastly 2 3 months is nothing to settle any where let alone in Canada.. you have to be patient, persistent and focused and after 2 years and after seeing all the calendar and religious seasons twice, you finally start to think of new place as your home.. its hard but in the end it's truly worth it and then you can never go back to India or Pakistan

A lot of Indian students coming back from Canada have told me horror stories about sleeping on park benches and nearly starving to death because housing and food is so expensive. They literally kiss the ground when they come back to India. Thank God I never immigrated to shithole Canada.

What's wrong with United Arab Emirates. I heard they have a good economy. The only drawbacks: I think you need to have a fair amount of capital before they will accept you. And the cost of living is rather high. If I could speak Arabic that country along with Saudi Arabia and Kuwait would be one of my possible choices. The problem with Canada today is that the leaders are all completely inept, incompetent, and corrupt. I guess they think that Socialism is the way to go.

Fabulous video! US viewer here. But we often vacationed in Quebec’s Laurentians and our daughter went to Ontario’s University of Toronto for her undergraduate degree about 15 years ago. UofT was rigorous, to say the least, but she did it in 4 years, unlike some of her peers. She LOVED it, and made many friends, including internationals. They’ve stayed close on FB, and even get together (some flying in from other countries, including the Middle East and Asia) every 2 years or so back in Toronto. We’ve found the easiest way to make friends is by going to university or college together and living in residence, rather than once we’ve enter the workforce.\n\nThat said, and as unpolite as it may be, the root of Canada’s problems are exactly its politics. IMO Canada’s misguided liberal policies are to blame for its stratospheric taxes, cost of housing, increasing crime, tolerant drug culture, and deteriorating health care system. That Canada now encourages voluntary euthanasia to reduce health care costs should say it all. Margaret Sanger would be proud. And it promises to get worse as long as Justin Trudeau and his ilk are in power. His lionizing climate change intervention at the expense of what really impacts Canadians is sheer madness. Situation in Germany has changed a lot during the past years, situations resemble much to what you described. However this is not the Canada I knew some time ago.

Every place has its positives and negatives. Canada is beautiful, clean and green. The people are polite and friendly at a superficial level and the infrastructure is great. But for a new immigrant it's very difficult to make new social contacts or even to get a good job. The cost of living is high and housing costs are exhorbitant. The medical system is terrible with people having to wait weeks to meet a specialist \n\n Indian cities are mostly dirty, polluted and chaotic with poor infrastructure. There is rampant corruption and people can be rude and obnoxious especially while driving. But you can get help for everything and living costs are affordable. Plus the social contacts ..family and friends around are priceless. The medical system is way better provided you have some money.

I suggest you consider a Muslim South-East Asian country such as Malaysia, Indonesia, or Brunei. You wouldn't have to deal with winter. The cost of living is much cheaper than Canada. You would be surrounded by fellow Muslims in a nation that respects and promotes Islam.

Many parts of Canada are like living g in a 3rd world country, except most of them have better weather. Nova Scotia must be one of the worst provinces out of all of them.

They're trying to get rid of the middle class and force rentals and no more ownership. Refugees and immigrants are allowed in to mess with demand and covid caused people to move out of the city, then American billionaires such as Bill Gates bought up all the vacant homes and are raising prices.
