Great! I am happy for Canada
2024-01-12 0
I lived in Toronto from '95-2000, 2003-2004, and finally from 2010-2019, and watching its slide has been terrible. But I'm old enough to remember what it was like in the late '70s when it was still functional and people had no yet become miserable. It's astonishing what greed and stupidity can do. Having lived in Calgary and on both coasts as well as Australia and Japan (where I'm on my second stint) I now see Canada as no longer designed as a home for citizens but rather a holding pen for the fleecing of inmates.

It was like a dream to me moving to Canada someday, but now I'm kinda reconsidering it due to lots of people saying basically the same. It's a shame, since it's more accessible to the permanent visa for those who want to move to study.

Canada is an awful country and the weather is horrible. I am glad i left for Mexico.

Canada tolerate Islam and people here can live their ways as soon they integrate. But most likely for Muslim people very hard to live by non-islamic laws and routine, so the best choice they have or finally accept the life around them, or to leave to Muslim country. It's up to you guys.

Rich people -- like those who can afford to decide which country they want to live in -- can always prosper anywhere. If you don't like it in Canada, please do feel free to leave and exploit some other system. Canadians will figure our own fate out somehow.

Just leave with your crappy religion. Let us make Canada great again. We do not want antisemitism in this country.

Trying to be politically correct is an interesting phenomenon. It's present all across Canada...but not so much amongst immigrant populations. It seems to be primarily a thing amongst Canadians with a native history in Canada. Canadians born to immigrant families don't necessarily share in this very much.

It’s your choice! Canada is not a Muslim country!

I have huge respect for the both of you. It’s obviously a very difficult and life alternating change to leave Canada. I commend the both of you for standing by your beliefs. Thank you for sharing this with us. I wish you and your family peace, love and happiness in this next exciting stage of your lives.

It is the political correctness that has really damaged Canada. It used to be a country of people that were liberal and tolerant in the sense of allowing people to live their own lives according to their own believes. Now, there is a strict code of deference to a totalizing ideology of “equity” that is anti-democratic, and intolerant.

The weight is not to be lifted by the Arab world, so they can't take in Palestinian Refugees, not even their Egyptian neighboring nation, but Canada is leading the way in taking in Palestinian Refugees.

Assalamu alaikum. I'm a proud Muslim from Bangladesh who watched this vlog for the first time. Though I never lived or visited Canada I know all the points you mentioned here. All the difficulties in Western countries as a practicing Muslim. My wife wants to move to Canada & she always keeps pressuring me to take steps to move on to Canada but I am not that much interested for the same reasons you mentioned here. My sister lives in Saskatoon & she wants to help me with the relative points to move to Canada. I always try to make them understand my views. But they don't understand. They thinks Canada is the best!

Having lived in Canada, I can understand many of your arguments. A question to the wife: would you give up your right to sit equal to your husband and express your personal views when leaving Canada? Because you will surely have no equal rights in countries that practice strict Islamic law.

Consider moving to Kosovo-it is a majority Muslim population that is western oriented but also traditional in a cultural sense (not necessarily a religious sense). Although it is majority Muslim, there are secular Muslims as well as Catholics and Orthodox Christians who live in peace. You can hear the call to prayer five times a day and see observant Muslims without it being all consuming like somewhere in the Middle East. Since you are from Canada, you might find it a little suffocating to move to some place like Saudi Arabia, even if you are observant Muslims. Finally Kosovo has a very cheap cost of living, many people speak English, and you can be on the beaches of Greece within a few hours drive. Probably not on your radar so just a thought.

Muslims that come here don't want to assimilate. Canada has always been on the map and it will forever be a Christian nation. Don't kid yourselves. They rather bring their 3rd world problems here. They keep voting for LIBERALS. Even tho they are CONSERVATIVE. You get what you voted for!!! Hope you have a safe flight! Hope more of your Canadian Muslim followers also follow you and leave this beautiful country. \nDon't come back. ❤

When you are in garbage country like Canada, you don't have to do like Canadians do, you have to leave the trash country before you scrap your life.

I just moved back to the United States after living in Canada for 7 years. I’m a dual citizen, born in Vancouver raised in the states. I am in agreement with all of this. The economy is terrible and the cost of living is unbelievable. My business suffered and realized I would never prosper in Canada. I’m lucky to have options.

There should not be an islamic environment in canada. Go to an islamic country.

Should have never moved to Canada if you wanted to impose your beliefs onto others.

Many aspects of canada are more Islamic than many aspects of dubai

I lived in Toronto with my wife between Oct. 2021 and Oct. 2023. Despite earning six figures as a software developer plus my wife earning more or less the minimum wage and despite being very lucky to have a ridiculously low (for Toronto) rent of $1350 for a 2-bedroom apartment we decided to move back to Poland. We wanted to stay in Canada for longer, but with everything around being so expensive we weren't able to get a similar standard of living that we can easily afford in Europe. The fact that we didn't feel particularly safe in the city didn't help.

The question is, Where are you going to go? \nYou both grew up in the West with Western Democratic Values and basic human rights, justice, and freedoms. Islamic countries are very restrictive, and most are ruled by tyrannies, inequality, and injustice, especially for Women, unlike Canada, they do not have good education quality.\nIt is easy to say, I'm leaving Canada but in reality, where is in this world better than Canada to live. There is NO BETTER alternative than Canada.\nEven if you leave Canada today, it won't take long to fly back, restart your life in Canada, and regret what you did.\nEven your children won't stay abroad and they will pressure you to come back to Canada. \nStay here, you'll be glad you did! \nCanada is a Safe country, with freedom, justice, and equality and its social nets to protect families.\n\nAsk your own parents, why they moved to Canada?\nThey will tell you because they lived in those countries and they know for a fact the difference between living in Canada and their home countries, they will tell you they moved to Canada for a better life and they are glad they did. \n\nIf you decide to leave Canada, one day, You will regret what you did.

F*d up govt who brings muslims, indians, and pakistanis. They are taking over the canadian mix and making it another india, pakistan, or middle east. Canada is not European culture anymoren like it used to be

Every major city in Canada has been turned into a progressive wasteland, you get what you vote for.

Canada won't be sorry when you leave. Don't come here!

I live in Canada and it's a strange place. You work so hard and never seem to get ahead. Wages are low and cost of living is really high it's so hard to save and build towards a future. Not to mention the cost of housing is crazy. Two bedroom one story house in Toronto will cost 1.5 million. Cost of living is out of control.

People are moving back to India as people say it is easier in India to find out the opposite reasons are prices are too high and costs are unaffordable to maintain. While Canadians here for generations can not afford to live in Canada for 3 generations.

Wise decision. I left Canada with my child.

I'm so sorry to hear what you guys went through. I always thought Canada was the best when it came to nice people but I was wrong. \nAs for country options, definitely check out China, it is such a beautiful and peaceful country. You will deal with little to no racism there. \nCountries to avoid: America ?

I went to Canada for a holiday and a rude person abused me because I addressed them as a he and it was a trans. I could not tell as they appeared to be 6'4 solid muscle. They threatened to call the police as it's against the law to use the wrong pronouns. I tried to run away but the person kicked me hard in the groin and I had to pay for expensive surgery.

Yes please leave Canada, U.S. and Europe! Our countries will give you stipends to support your decision.

So if Canada supported hum mus and mosques were blasting the call to prayer 5 times a time across Canadian cities, you would consider staying?
2024-01-06 0
Yes Please Leave Canada, You will not be missed, and take as much family as possible.

I understand why you don't like Canada but your hat is idiotic.

Canada has become the Soviet Union. I wouldn’t visit Commie-da if you paid me! \nEDIT: if you’re from Canada, I mean no disrespect.

I agree with all your points but also I somewhat think this is a defeatist mentality , I think you should stay regardless I'm an immigrant to Canada and I am staying here till the end. Doesn't mean I won't move around and do projects abroad if I can for business, or for Islam, but I am not leaving definitively because my goal is to take advantage of all the opportunities at my disposal to achieve my goals.

Palestinians are actively trying to harm the jewish community in Canada. Jews have done nothing to you in Canada, and you are the one complaining? I'm glad you are leaving

Yup.... I got out of Canada too. I find everything there is fake. The schools are fake, hospitals are fake, press, government.... I was a union member and the union was definitely fake. Cost of living, debt and inflation meant there was literally not a penny left after all the taxes and bills were paid. I was very lonely and to be honest people just stayed in their own groups and were very rude.
