Canada is a multicultural country. Keeping everyone happy will always be a big struggle. Can’t think of anywhere else to live.

I totally agree that this country will break your spine and test your ultimate willpower. Me and my wife came here 5 years back and we decided that we will shut ourselves like a tortoise. Forget about savings and forget about everything else. Only and only one goal we had in mind is that we will live in the basement and earn top dollars. Just to give you a perspective. My first pay was 19 dollar per hour and my current pay is 87 per hour. My wife started with 16.5 per hour and now earning 69 per hour. Even though our income grew substantially, we never raised our expenses. Answer to all problems in Canada is income. Now after 5 years we bought house worth of 1.4 M. We moved out of basement and felt immense pride. We paid 37% down payment and 3 banks approved our mortgages in a heartbeat. No debt at all. We paid up our car in full. Just a regular new suv nothing fancy. \nEveryone is different, we all are unique and I believe you took a right decision. Each and every word you said in the video is true. \nWe cried , we fought , we felt that our life is ruined but we both thought that ek bar to Canada ko harana hai. We crossed 300k and lately to be honest we got a kick in living in basement. People around us thought of us as a regular poor couple but from inside we knew that we are earning in top 3% of Canadian population. \nI would highly recommend that understand the job market of Canada. Work on your soft skills. Power on the language is MUST. It is even more important than your technical knowledge. Make meaningful connections. Stay away from negative people. I left Canada in 2004 for Thailand. I think it's the best decision I made. Canada is a beautiful country. But to make a living there is a nightmare. The Universal Healthcare is there but you won't be able to access it unless you are dying.

What I understand there is harsh weather conditions in Canada as compared to Australia and there's reverse migration going in Canada that's why Canada is offering easy PR to live in tough weather conditions.

Am sure if a westerner moves to the country of your interest..they will have the same reasons to leave that country as you…so guys you are free to go anywhere you want..so please don’t give it a religious reason to leave..will any of the Islamic countries allow Christians to build a church there ?? I left Canada but I miss somethings about Canada.\nI miss the parties\nI miss how we use to entertain at home. People fight less, there more friendlier and less angry than Americans and the average person just has more material wise, there's far less homeless people compared to America.\nThe Canadian healthcare system is just basic care, my doctors already retired. \nThe system is overtaxed. The people are overworked..it became abusive.\nI can't go back even though I miss my community in Canada.\nMemories were built there. Children were born there but it's over for me. \nThey expected people to take care of them. The Canadian elderly generation I don't accept how they treated the younger generation.\nThey are abusers.\nIt's best to stick with your own kind to avoid abuse case.

If a Muslim was able to live at peace without having the hidden agenda of wanting to take over our government, & then force their Sharia on all Canadian citizens, which I'm very grateful hasn't come to that extreme yet, then maybe I wouldn't have my defenses up the second I see a Muslim in public places. Church & State should NEVER come together as one. That would not be fair to all of those who belong to other religions. The only acceptable religions in Canada, are the Reformed kind, where you have the right to practice your religion in secret, so that it doesn't offend other people.

I lived my whole life in Canada until 2018 when I moved away. Leaving Canada was the best thing I ever did. I miss some aspects, but the country is now an unsustainable playground for the rich.

I was born and raised in Canada. Ten years ago, I would tell people that Canada is an incredible place to live in. Today, I would caution people to think twice about moving here. Everything is expensive and you will be taxed to death. The current government is terrible and the winters are freezing.

Probably the reason why she struggled is due to not having real exposure of struggle and being independent in India... \n\nWhen 2 ppl at home earn, level of comfortness is higher in India, due to availability of cheap labour.\n\nIts not just Canada, anywhere in world, being independent means doing everything... not just hiring people to get things done (which is the case in India... which is comfortness)

As an antitheist, may I suggest you abandon religion, an archaic and superstitious fantasy delusion that most often does more harm than good in the world, and stay in Canada and work to help remedy the ills of the country. Religious people aften profess that religion makes people moral, yet you are clearly bigoted against LGBTQ people, and don't want to make sacrifices to help people in need (ie, all the destitute people in Canada that you want to flee from). It doesn't seem to me that religion is helping you to be better people. If you prefer to keep your religion, then I agree that leaving is best. We don't need more religious fanatics in the West- we already have too many of our own.

I have lived in TO for over 30 years. Love the city! It has its challenges and problems, just like any BIG city worldwide. I would not move anywhere else in Canada (because other places are as expensive or much colder). I love its energy, restaurants, venues, events and the diversity of its people. There is so much room for improvements and to control rent/house affordability, but it is still a great place to live.

Things that are the worst in Canada. Health care. Dr's. Taxes. Weather. Government corruption. Incompetent people running the country. High in socialist and communist group. Now I know why big powers are destroying other countries, to bring people to countries like Canada and abuse them.

I had major problems finding a job, even as a waiter, when I moved from Germany in 1990. I was so depressed. When I saw the poverty on the east-side of Vancouver I was shocked. Now 30 yrs later I see videos of the east-side and I cannot believe how worse it got. I am glad to live in Germany and Japan!!!!! Thank god!!! I have the money now to rent a motorhome in Canada and travel around for 4 weeks there, because I have money and time to do that. No way to do that as a regular canadian.

They are living in Canada under western values with freedom of choice. After they try lifestyle in some islamic country they will be back soon. I just feel sorry for thoose two girls and life that waits for them under islam as second class citizens if they still decide to stay there.
