Canada is awful. Since I moved here 1,5 years ago I’m just struggling with the depression all this time. There is no joy in this country, no feeling of safety. Crime is happening all the time. I don’t feel safe walking on the streets. My salary is low bcz no employer is willing to pay good money to an immigrant. I’m not able to afford a car but the public transport is just terrible! I can barely afford to split the rent with my partner. Barely can save any money. As an immigrant I will never be able to buy a property here. I lived and worked in another country and I was able to save so much money and have a great life, travel, buy food, have fun. Here I am not able to do this.

Most of this is accurate, except there are plenty of homes in Canada under $400 000. The problem is with the higher rates and stress test (which is another huge factor as to why people are leaving) it's difficult to be approved for enough to even purchase a cheap home. Also the competition for cheaper homes is brutal. Even with an income over $70 000 a year your looking at maybe being approved for $270 000 right now. Not many livable houses for that price in Ontario near jobs. Canada is not the same place anymore. Another problem is wages going down or becoming stagnant due to immigration. I have personally seen both security and the trucking industries nearly destroyed because of this. When entry level and mid-range trained jobs aren't making the wage you need to live, you don't have many choices but to go somewhere you can afford.

I love Canada and I love the fact its mixing so many cultures in together, but we just can't keep up at the current pace. Another thing lots of people have an issue with is the lack of diversity in the immigrants. Our services and lifestyles are being strained to the point where people are getting sick of it, put a cap on each country and only allow that cap to be broken for asylum seekers/refugees. Cosmopolitan Toronto or Vancouver or Montreal is different from The Rest of Canada. Living in the ROC is another experience. Canada is big geographically.. People can interpret life differently just based on this different geography.

Dear Ana, by watching your videos I heard about Relocate Ltd and I contacted them through the link you shared with us. At the beginning of this year ( February 1st) I applied for Temporary Work Permit to Canada. Since then, they've been really kind and useful to me. However, in October my Employment coordinator informed me that she is no longer with Relocate and sent me an email for me to contact Relocate and ask for another person who should keep following up my process. I did as she recommended but after so many emails sent they didn't reply any email I've sent. I am concerned about that.
