That is such a crock of shit. I know lots of trades men that don’t have work. Immigrants come in under charge and truly skilled workers are out of work. Trudeau would rather have foreign workers get Canadians Job then Canadians

Government wants immigrants for cheap labour while Canadians aren’t working it’s to ruin the country
2024-03-04 0
True must go ASAP before it destroys Canada for good. We have the skilled trades here in Canada born Canadians. Need to be happy and promote workforce. We don’t need immigrants from another part of the country. They don’t know our country they’re just here to survive. feel sorry for them, butlet alone they will cause many problems in Canada. We have the manpower here in Canada. The government needs to promote it not bring immigrants here then they have no work.

Most of these immigrants come into Canada have no skills nothing I am a skilled tradesmen and I see what’s going on. It’s very scary not saying that the immigrants coming in or bad it’s just they have no skills and we have young people here that are born in Canada, that could be better to set the skill skill trade. We don’t need immigrants. We need the government to get these Canadian children to become skilled tradesmen and to four-door economy.

So Canadian taxpayers will be paying for the financial assistance being given to these illegal immigrants!

you missed the perfect opportunity of explaining how wise immigrants migrate to US after getting Canadian citizenship, which only takes up to 3-4 years after PR,\njust because it's easier to go to US using Canadian doors instead of directly applying.

I was a young immigrant many years ago. It was tough. Being on my own in a new country. But I persevered. I am so happy to be a Canadian.

Sadly, Canada is not longer the country it used to be! \nAffordability is a huge factor, plus the difficulty to enter the job force or find a good job (not only in academia in every field) which so necessary to pay for housing, food etc\nBut also the social and cultural changes has been huge in the past decade. \nAs we see the decline in USA, we can see Canada is following closely and in some areas, we are doing worse.\n20+ years ago Canada have quality of life, that has dropped drastically in every area health services, schools, security, transportation, housing, infrastructure etc. although we pay higher taxes than other countries we do not have the same services.\nLaws restricting liberties and going to the extreme on protecting and impossing other ideologes erosion of freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, freedom of religion etc. \nOn top all that is the huge public debt, lack of transparency, abuse in the spending of many politicians, and corruption.\nAll together has turned living in Canada less disarable for many immigrants and also nationals. Many Canadian are choosing to live abroad or retire abroad.

Shut the door asap toward immigrants with no money from poor countries, unless some investment for Canadian economy. Canada is changed. It cant act like a rich brother for refugees or people from poor countries. World is changed.

Canada wants young qualified immigrants sho do small jobs and pay heavy taxes to pay for the sick and ageing Canadian population and themselves live in perpetual poverty without owning a house, or get caught in the merciless mortgage payment system. Many immigrants are not choosing to sacrifice their lives for that. They have figured out the scam.
2024-02-29 0
Not where I live. There are more immigrants and every day, dozens applying for jobs that don’t exist. Who pays for them? Tax payers. Liberal party wants new voters at the detriment of actual Canadians. Can’t wait for 2025. Good bye LP
2024-02-29 1
Not only immigrants; my Canadian born children left Canada in 2016. Now U.S. citizens living and working in Alameda County, California.\nNot planning to return.

stop issuing visitor visa to Bangladeshis who are coming everyday in large numbers and filing fake asylum. Danforth and victoria park area are full of fake asylum seekers. They are laughing at our asylum process. Making videos how are they are getting free foods and money from the government. Canadian embassy in south east asia issuing visitor visa in thousands. For god sake why you have all these immigration path ways which takes years and a short cut way where people are coming as visitor and filing fake asylum. Few lawyers and RCIC AAGENTS are also involved. FAKE LMIAS are now on sell for 40000 cad. Its open secret now. Canadian embassy in south east asia issuing visitor visa right and left. Here how it works, someone who would never get a visitor visa and not eligible going on a tour in 3/4 countries in south east asia. They spend around 2000 dollars for it, once the passport got 3/4 visa stamp, they apply for canadian visitor visa with fake bank statements. After they get visitor visa upon arriving they just file fake asylum. Wow a plasaaaan.

Some Canadians want to also leave…… taxes and quality of affordable living working and life balance…..spent early 20s to early 50s working 60-80 hrs per week and only now realized that all that hard work hasn’t paid off enough for early retirement or a wealthy retirement. Being a generational Canadian we often don’t see the struggle early enough and are told hard work pays off……..it does until you find yourself asking yourself what was all that for, worked and worked to give the government more than you give your family. I would not want to immigrate to Canada.
2024-02-29 0
It is soooo ridiculous expecting an immigrant with a Phd & 10 years of non Canadian work experince to be a cleaner or taxi driver. I hope all of them leave Canada ASAP.
2024-02-28 0
Not just immigrants are leaving... Canadians are also saying sayonara. I spent most of my life in Canada and recently left.

David Rosenberg, a prominent Canadian economist, questions the logic behind increasing immigration amidst a 40% drop in production rates. Many residents with strong ties abroad contribute minimally to the economy, often sending earnings overseas. This trend raises concerns about the effectiveness of immigration policies, suggesting a potential exploitation of Canada's economy. In other words, there's a need to recruit immigrants who can actively contribute to growing the Canadian economy and ensure policies align with national economic interests.

Canadians are leaving Canada and that's what should be concerning. As Canadian born and raised now retired, I have finally had enough if the past 3 decades of crap in this country and also found a way to immigrate out of Canada to a country who places its citizens FIRST!

How an airlines worker allegedly exploited Canada’s immigration laws to admit people from India\nThe 24-year-old former British Airways worker is estimated to have made over $5.1 million from the fraud scheme\n\nAuthor of the article:Jamie Casemore\nPublished Feb 28, 2024\n\nA former British Airways employee has allegedly fled to India after being arrested for allegedly helping Indian citizens get around immigration laws so they could claim asylum in Canada.\n\nAs initially reported in The Times of London on Tuesday, the employee who worked at Heathrow airport in London, U.K., is said to have enabled people without proper documentation to get on flights to Canada so that they could claim asylum upon entering the country. He allegedly charged £25,000 per person or about $43,000. The alleged scam is estimated to have made 3 million pounds or over $5.1 million.\n\nAfter taking the money from the Canada-bound asylum seekers, the 24-year-old former employee allegedly told them to fly from India to the U.K. on a temporary visa.\n\n\n\nA former British Airways employee has allegedly fled to India after being arrested for allegedly helping Indian citizens get around immigration laws so they could claim asylum in Canada.\n\nAs initially reported in The Times of London on Tuesday, the employee who worked at Heathrow airport in London, U.K., is said to have enabled people without proper documentation to get on flights to Canada so that they could claim asylum upon entering the country. The former employee’s process was allegedly to make sure that the prospective immigrants came to his check-in desk at the airport. Later, he would allegedly meet them again during the boarding process and falsely report they had the correct documents a second time.\n\nThe former British Airways employee was arrested on Jan. 6, but after making bail, he and his partner, who also worked for British Airways, fled to India, where he reportedly owns multiple properties and is still on the run from U.K. and Indian authorities. Yeah it's not just immigrants it's also born here Canadians. We are tired of the state of country, our lack of freedom and democracy, our failing healthcare and healthcare facilities, laughable education system, lack of infrastructure for new comers and Canadians alike. No party in Canada, neither Liberal, Conservative, NDP and Green, no one really represents Canadians and really listens to the public. We learned there is NO future here for us or our family. We're done with a country that I pay taxes too, believed in, it's not my fault that I have to leave, it's CANADA and decades of bad policies, investing in wars instead of our home and people. Trudeau spent more time demonizing anti-vaxxers and truckers and funding Ukraine rather then helping starving Palestinians and Congolese people, families struggling here locally to feed their family, kids are who aren't getting a proper education, elderly unable to pay for their medicine or food. We are all suffering because no one in our govt wants to actually help our country get back on track. So our govt is essentially pushing us OUT. We don't want to leave, we have no choice.

we can’t even house our own people on the streets or continue to create jobs for those already here. Being a youth from small town Alberta, unable to land work, seeing our local job market being bought up by immigrants and seeing those jobs handed right to their family members is disheartening. Immigrants receive a median pay of $44,600 while the median of the Canadian born population is $38,800. This is Trudeaus Canada where Canadians aren’t even the priority anymore.

Oh my God, what is happening in Canada? And to think a lot of Filipinos are chosing the country as a new place to find greener pasture. This is so sad for the thousands of Filipinos and other hopeful immigrants. What is the Canadian Government doing?
2024-02-27 0
Every Canadian I know hates this appeasement policy for immigrants and country is a mess now ??
2024-02-26 0
It's both citizens and immigrants or broadly canadian residents whose numbers are on the move imo out of the country , between provinces etc
2024-02-25 0
As a Canadian, you hit the nail on the head. It sucks here and I’d immigrate to the US in a heartbeat. Reasons monopolies exist here is because they bribe the prime minister who are his buddies so there’s no incentive for him to open up competition.
2024-02-25 0
If Canadians can't even get ahead, why do we care whether new immigrants are struggling here.
2024-02-25 0
good. As a Canadian seeing my fellow citizens struggling, we don't need immigrants coming in inflating our housing.

Canada is not a place to immigrate to. Many Canadians are leaving. The cost of living, the taxes, the rents, the weather, the government, the wokeism. All true, no matter how many excuses people in the comments want to come up with.

The man interviewed at the end is why our son left the country for Europe after graduating from Queens. Canadians are addicted to immigration to stay relevant in a way not seen in other countries. There's a smug quality to it all. Oh how wonderful and accepting are we - in contrast to those Trump people to the south. Here in Halifax the changes are both stunning and alienating as the premier seeks to double the province's population by 2060. My family and I immigrated from the U.S. 20 years ago, and I doubt any of us will remain here much longer. Living in Canada has made me realize how Canadian I am not. I actually stand for something. Canada's future is mass immigration and digging things out of the ground and selling them to China and the US.

I'm one of them.\n\nI landed in October of 2022 as a skilled immigrant, and stayed for a month before returning home to finish off some work commitments.\n\nI haven't returned since, and I don't think I will. I have a decent house, good career prospects/business opportunities back home, and I can take a vacation abroad or travel domestically for fairly cheap multiple times a year. \n\nFree/subsidised government healthcare isn't the best (not the worst either) but we also have private hospitals/clinics that are relatively affordable and fairly quick to access. \n\nFurthermore many other immigrants I know living there are telling me that they are planning on leaving as well.\n\nThe cost of living in major Canadian cities is no joke. I feel for the people born there who don't have other options.

The homes are crazy expensive. Just start from million The healthcare is not good if something were to happen to you . Hav e to be waiting in the emergency over night I slips on ice went to the emergency went there at 6:00 for looked at 9:00 waited 4 hrs to get look d at. 3 generation Canadians have it good there parents came in the 90s houses weren’t so expensive then . Know it’s really hard with inflation so high if you don’t have a good job it will be a struggle. Indian students come to Canada thinking just working on cash will be enough ?it will not . Mass immigration is a problem to many people less houses . Canada likes to say they welcome immigrants but truthfully they dont. And high taxes, truth fully you work all your life just to sure and pay taxes …….

The Canadian government, including its departments and agencies responsible for immigration and citizenship, appears to lack empathy for individuals who immigrate to Canada in pursuit of their dreams and a better life. It is incomprehensible that the immigration department takes more than two to three years to process applications for permanent residency or citizenship. Instead of addressing the delays, they offer excuses such as the impact of Covid-19 or conflicts like the one in Ukraine. Meanwhile, applicants endure significant mental stress and hardship during this prolonged waiting period, unable to secure suitable employment or pursue education. Government officials seem indifferent to these struggles, leaving individuals feeling helpless and frustrated. The situation feels dire, with no avenue for recourse or resolution.

In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. It has become a North Korea style dictatorship in the western world.\n\n\nTheir are many reasons why Canada has fallen apart. But the number one reason is ‘multiculturalism’. My friends, multiculturalism simply does not work. Different cultures do not come together and mix, different cultures come together and clash. The world is divided into different countries for a reason: because people hate each other and only want to be with their own kind. The number two reason for Canada’s demise is ‘socialism’. In this modern era of aging populations, it is mathematically impossible for socialism to continue. The government does not have the money to take care of old people and provide healthcare, pensions and the various other benefits, even with the astronomical taxation that burdens hard working Canucks. Well Canada, you had a good run. Time for Canucks to move to an emerging country. We welcome you here in Southeast Asia.

Dumb question. Why are immigrants leaving Canada. Number one, we're full. There's no housing for our own, let alone them. Number two, its too expensive to live here. Number three, the growing resentment among actual Canadians that were born here is being felt by them. Simple as that.

Welcome immigration-yes\nRipe with opportunities-hell no\nCome, come, be taxed to d*ath, earn money only for the gov't, never be able to afford a house, pay a small fortune for rent. Come, the Canadian gov't welcomes you, bring sh*t loads of cash and if you decide to leave, leave with nothing left. This is not the land of opportunity, it is the land of 'TAKING', taking everything you have, every dream you aspire to and every opportunity you've been promised.

Canadians want to leave canada, but usa only accepts our immigrants not citizens.

Stupid Peeps complaining that it is all happening because of New immigrants while forgetting that you citizens never invested much in Housing and Hospitals and now blaming immigrants who are paying taxes and covering the cost of Old age Pensions for Canadians.

You haven't mentioned enormous bureaucratic apparatus of the government which costs a lot to run being extremely inefficient at the same time. Canadian immigration program is just a cheap labor scam and Ponzie scheme. My wife works in retail. Earns minimum wage plus commission from sales. She made almost 25% less in 2023 compared to 2022. If adjusted for inflation that would be closer to 30%. My salary was ok in 2018 but became stagnant. Both incomes combined barely make us through the month. The fact that I have to work two weeks in a month just to pay rent is very depressing. Having lived in Canada for almost 6 years I seriously regret decision to move here.

Its a lose-lose situation. The immigrants dont realize that the citizens have zero incentive to help them because they will be putting their own children's future at risk. When i was 16, I could find an entry level job. Now, the kids cant even find a job because its filled with literally the lowest common denominator (3rd world immigrants mostly India) and they wont hire anyone who isnt Indian. What India doesnt realize is that the government has lied to them because we, the citizens, do not advocate for having what little work is left taken by people who are just DEI hires. As a Canadian, I only support citizen-ran business and nothing corporate.

I Love when Canadians and American are calling other people immigrants when they themselves are the also the immigrants. These lands were indigenous lands that where stolen from them, they even built schools over top of their bodies, yet they say this is their land. From an Arab / Canadian born and raised here this is truly sad. This country is literally built with all kinds of different nationalities and would be nothing without them all! These comments are truly sad. Wishing you the best on your journey and future endeavors!

It’s not just immigrants that want to leave. It’s born and raised Canadians who four years ago were proud of being Canadian.

Why is no one talking about how immigrants racially profile undepriveledged white Canadians? I have been stalked and stopped at Walmart where the majority if Indians work on multiple occasions. Is it because I am white? Anxious? Stop being hypocrites.

Good.. More and more Canadians (specially digital nomads and passport bros) are leaving Canada and went to Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines and Caribbean. Please continue to be strict with international students visas, nurses and other immigrants, and even tourists visas. Within the next 10 years Canada will be a ghost country.

?? Too many immigrants & not enough affortable housings , schools , medical cares , jobs are becoming a big problems for many native Canadians , imagine what new immigrants have to struggle to face?! ... Sad that , many Good , Friendlier & Happier World of the 1960s , 1970s , 1980s , & 1990s are hard to find nowsdays in 2024 in around the World ... People have changed ... So the World changed ... We manifest the World around us ... We begining to feel the effects of the spreading of Selfishness , Greed & Hatre around the World over the decades ... We reap what we sow ... ???

It's expensive, monthly car insurance is $400 for new immigrants...it's not affordable at all... rent and other things getting expensive by passing each day.....even now canadians are trying to to move to European countries.
2024-02-15 0
The truth is Western countries are accepting more migrants than they can help. Their citizens are likely mad because their welfare should have come first. It's not just the immigrants struggling, the government's decisions mean all Canadians are struggling. That can't lead to anything good.\nOverpopulation is the reason for the housing crisis.

Canada is dying; Freeland changed Brave Middle Class for economic zero, Tax by Tax...and nothing for Canadians but everything for immigrants; jobs, houses, social money but NOT for Canadians. People are tired and angry.
2024-02-14 0
This has nothing to do with immigrants, China, the US, Japan, etc. have a higher population than Canada and are smaller in size. Complaining about issues won't solve them but just makes it worse. Out of my own experiences, I believe the Canadian policy makers should step up on major issues. \nReal estate, health, evaluating skilled immigrants, monopolism, and inflation. \nThey can't blame 1.5 million newcomers for problems of 38 million people.
