My family came to Canada 5 years ago. The main reason was because my dad had been busy setting up a branch of his European company here for two years. He wanted to launch this new branch and then retire early. Canada as he knew it was a good option for him to do this. We even had a house long before we came to Canada. And we now live on the west coast of Canada. \n \nFor us, the transition to feeling at home here wasn't particularly difficult. We also had enough experience of what it was like to live in other countries. Canada actually turned out to be a very easy country to quickly settle in. \n \nI've heard that Canadians can be reserved, but my personal experience is completely different. \n \nNevertheless, I got to know fellow immigrants who didn't find it easy to get started in Canada. In my experience, they were not very or only rudimentarily informed about what to expect in Canada. Their expectations were very high and they failed because of the reality of everyday Canadian life. \n \nOthers had similar experiences, but they persevered and ultimately arrived in Canada. Some of my fellow students are international students who are also considering leaving the country because Canada doesn't offer what they were hoping for as a better life here. \n \nThe reasons are really too individual in nature to really generalize. I think there should be a lot more help given to people who are struggling with their fate in Canada, because there are enough programs that they could take advantage of but that they never hear about. \n \nUltimately, it may help if someone just listens to them and perhaps has some advice, no matter how vague it may be. Those who finally arrive in Canada after years of a long odyssey and find this country something like home are, in my opinion, those who never gave up.

What in the hell is all these people going to do in the United States? I don’t think there’s enough jobs for all of them really or are we just supposed to pull our pockets inside out and take care of them this is getting ridiculous. Quit coming to America.

Nice and well thought out video. Even though I don't agree with everything, you said it in a considerate way and shared your honest experience. It was just unfortunate that you did not get enough time to settle down. Moving to any new place is extremely tough and especially when you are moving to a completely new city. I live in Germany and I love it here. My wife and I came here to study, but my wife came first and she had a really bad first 6 months in winter. Things got much better later. We Indians miss house help so much in early days, but the fact is you have so much free time here and things are well organized. You don't waste time in traffic, you don't have to go 10 times to a government office to get work done, you don't have to sit with kids everyday to do homework, kids can come and go to school on their own, there is little dust so houses don't get dirty every day, everything is planned and no one is visiting your house suddenly. So in reality, doing the house chores aren't such a big deal because you have a lot of time.

It’s much easier to call Arab world for not doing enough to accept Palestinian refugees than condemning israel for settlement and apartheid, it’s much difficult to tell the truth to the zionists, this war has really exposed the hypocrisy of certain media, it’s hilarious how they ask questions to muslim leaders, speakers…! israel has the right to defend himself but Palestinians should accept going as refugees, Allah’s Plan is perfect

Canada is fine if you have enough money. If you have no money you are a debt slave. \n\nIt's basically a 3rd world country where people with money are fine and people without struggle to afford rent and food even if they work full time.
2023-12-13 0
Enough said!
2023-12-13 0
Why USA ?? don't take Israeli ?? as refuges ? I think they can give them Las angeles It's gonna be enough!
2023-12-13 0
Yes, as you can see, Saudia's military force is enough to confront the Zionists but not enough, better to talk for the sake of talking.

Most refugees don't want to leave their land, so moot point. Just a clever way to say that they don't care enough to ease the suffering of the palestinian people. Also completely ignored the fact that Hamas started the war and had the power to end the war almost immediately by simply surrendering. Also, Palestinians have no right to their land so long as they're allowing terrorists to launch attacks on Israel from their land.

They have. Money enough tto hellp the world 1000 time shame on them awful May Allah bless and help you all❤❤❤❤
2023-12-12 0
Yeah bro, just push for what you're saying while keep on funding the israel.. \n\nBasically he do not care enough to do anything about it, and here people still think arab saudi is the face of islam country.
2023-12-12 0
Probably they came here thinking to find the old beautiful Canada of the old times, \nOr they are not woke enough?

The same thing is happening in Australia. Bring in hundreds of thousands of immigrants, don't built enough houses and then wonder why our young people are being forced out of the housing market. Our health care system is becoming overwhelmed. I believe that Australia and Canada are now in a massive Ponzi scheme and it'll end in tears.

What kind of upside down insanity are we living in, where criticism is leveled at a state for not doing enough to take in refugees fleeing indiscriminate warfare deliberately aimed at civilians - but zero questioning or accountability is placed on the violent perpetrators creating the refugees, and to even suggest they be criticized makes you a villain….\n\nThe gaslighting is on a whole other level…

I'm sorry but going from an Architect to Architect intern or whatever they made her is ridiculous to me. If she passed her cert and was confirmed to be what she said she is, give her a proper job. Don't just abuse newcomers, soon enough you won't have any!
2023-12-12 0
You think those ppl are not intelligent enough to know that allowing Palestinians into their country only brings their problems with them. They will bring hate, strife & trouble, just as they do WHEREVER they go. Look at the countries that have these kinds of immigrants. They ALL have massive social problems & many other issues as well.
2023-12-12 0
But the Saudis and other oil rich Arab nations aren’t doing enough to change the plight of Palestinians despite the fact they can help them get education and technology to become an independent nation.
2023-12-12 0
The Saudis could put so much pressure on the US & Israel. They could do so much more. If the Saudis led, others would follow. Saudis with Russia are setting the pace for the oil market, Russia has their back. Enough with the inaction.

Luckily i was financially broken enough to not migrate to canada and broke again ????

2023-12-12 0

2023-12-12 0
Why the actual F should the Palestinians be forced to leave their land??? aren't there enough Palestinian refugee camps in the middle east? This reporter should keep her mouth shut
2023-12-12 0
No one blamed the European countries when they didn’t want to take in Jews and just gave them to the Nazis…\nWhy would I as a European blame the Arab countries for not taking in even more refugees, when it just helps Israel to get away with more human rights violations and displacement of people ?\nBut generally I have lost all my fate in western media. Even if the stick to the fact they leave out important information if it doesn’t suit Israel. Sad thing is I don’t even believe they get paid for that…\nI can only hope other people will be smart enough to realise this and punish our politicians for the involvement in this
2023-12-12 0
The arab leaders could do so much more to put serious pressure on israel, usa and uk but they are no way doing enough
2023-12-12 0
Lifting the weight just by aid en stopping the blockade? How about the opression, subjugation and providing sovereignity to the Palestinians! You haven’t said enough, as always…
2023-12-12 0
The audacity of the Western world and their war crimes are not enough they want Palestinians to leave the Palestinian land and become refugees in other countries, so Israel can fulfill its agenda of displacement of Palestinians from Palestine
2023-12-12 0
Lips service only !! They don't care anything more then 230 , 240 economic goal. Supporting Palestine isn't enough action is needed, front Media its just lips service but when it comes trading with usa and supporting iligeal occupied terrorist ,Arab country leaders are happy to land friendship hand with them .
2023-12-12 0
That reporter is definitely from the west or hire by Douglas Murray.Leave their land and then what, give the land to Israhell? Is like west isn’t enough

Only people dumb enough to move to Canada are poor 3rd worlders expecting to not end up at timhortans living with 10 other suckerrs in an apartment. Rich or skilled workers avoid this place cause pay is a fraction of what it is in the states.

Enough is enough no more BBA diplomas... General 2 year diplomas.. Canada needs talent not broken punjabi English. Better have done your homework Canada doesnot have to find a canadian solution when we need housing for Canadians. Have a good one..\n One what? Always got time for Punjabi Hortons.

Ok hold on a second. Im an offshore person who wants to immigarte to Canada. Ive spent a huge chunk of money for IELTS and Evaluation of my education solely for thst purpose. How the greedy landlords manipulate the market is not being talked about enough. Your government decides to increase immigration because you guys have been complaining about labor shortage. And when people actuallt went, you started blaming them for driving the housing price? The majority of immigrants are living off basic salasy at an entry level job, are you sure they are the major driver?
2023-12-11 0
i'm a Carpenter and my wife's a physio and we hardly have enough money to pay rent. glad we waisted 4 years of education for nothing.. our solution is leaving Canada...
2023-12-11 0
Don’t come to the US job market is bad enough... and too many azns... ?
2023-12-10 0
A government led by Trudeau would be enough to keep me out of Canada.
2023-12-10 0
Labour shortage, to Canadian government, just means not enough Walmart staff, Tim Hortons workers, labourers and nurses for (mostly) females. All my friends from abroad turn to hating their Canadian life within weeks.

As a Canadian, I looked into becoming an auto mechanic. Its going to take a year of school, tuition and then, in your first year, you'll make entry level wage and have to pay $3000 in tools. You might even need a truck to haul your tools around. They keep saying how they need tradespeople in Ontario, but the licensing/ apprentice process takes so long for people to transition into. Every trade is so complicated to get involved in. There is a situation where there are willing and capable people, but the admin process is too expensive and bars people who are in need of paying groceries, rent and bills. They can't find enough millrights either. Its the same problem.\n\nYou've got a surplus of willing and capable workers and employers seeking talent, but the admin process inhibits the entire process. \n\nIf I could start apprenticing on-the-job today as a mechanic or millright I would. But, I need to support family, so instead I am working readily available joe-jobs. \n\nAll trade positions will continue to be unfilled on job posting boards, while potential candidates will be busy working low pay jobs in warehouses etc. just trying to survive. Ontario is idiotic! Back in 2014 they introduced the Ontario College of Trades which only sought to take admin fees from every conceivable profession. The old bureaucratic established people in Ontario have a way of keeping everyone as peasants and minions. This is also why people are leaving for Alberta (a wise decision).

High prices for everything have severely affected my plan. I'm concerned if people who went through the 2008 financial crisis had an easier time than I am having now. The stock market is worrying me as my income has decreased, and I fear I won't have enough savings for retirement since I can't contribute as much as before.

As a born and raised Canadian millennial, I'm grateful to have escaped Canada almost a decade ago when even back then I could no longer tolerate the conditions of Greater Toronto. It's exponentially worse in Toronto today. I wish the best for Canada but I just can't see it improving over the coming decades. I love my life in the US too much to ever move back, but fortunately close enough to make the drive to visit friends and family.

I don't blame the people leaving Canada especially the ones who were smart with their money and saved enough in thier younger years. They probably have the freedom to live comfortably in warmer and much more affordable countries.

This reporter who's talking about filling labours needs, don't believe him, there're no jobs in Canada, if there's a need and no enough workers pay rate should go up, actually salaries are going down, so what these reporters parrot don't make sense.

Canada is pathetically expensive. Can't believe a country with oil has such runaway inflation and high taxes. Make middle East look like heaven,no rights no citizenship but cheap living and enough earning to support family and future.

Here is the reality of Canada, experienced by both native Canadians and new Indian immigrants: No matter what your education, there is an extreme shortage of jobs for highly skilled workers. The result is that Canadian and Indian graduates work in minimum-wage jobs for all of their life. Rents are rising at 15% to 25% per year, but wages are barely rising at all. It has now reached the point where people are starting to live in their cars since they can't afford to pay the rent. Even 4 people living together and splitting the cost is not enough to afford the rents that are now being charged. Health Care? What health care, there is none in Canada; if you get sick you just might die waiting 24+ hours to see a doctor at the hospital.

you need to earn 100k a year in order to live confortably in canada, minimum wage is 40k a year, not enough to live

Bro, you waste a lot of time talking about all the things in the world. Time is the most precious thing. I would say 5 minutes was more than enough for the information you provided.
