Toronto is a typical example of what happens to a woke LIberal society. Torontonians got what they voted for, well deserved.

Toronto has become a rotten out core of a city.\nIt despises business and success And caters to the lowest denominator.\nIt’s becoming the dream socialist wanted.… High density housing, everybody on a stinking bus and nobody owns anything…

Toronto is BS
2023-09-19 0
Hollywood North is what Vancouver is called and has been called for decades. Never heard Toronto called this. Thought Toronto was called the “centre of the universe “ ?
2023-09-19 0
I live in Toronto, and it is complete woke garbage city with endless socialism
2023-09-19 0
London is past ~80%, I'd suggest that's a bit higher than Toronto at 50% ;) I almost moved to Toronto myself for work, but the house prices/rent was extreme.
2023-09-19 5
This is happening all over Canada. Housing prices are insane, especially Toronto, and Vancouver. Inflation, is kicking the standard of living hard. A whole generation has been priced out of home ownership.

I am sorry to say although kl is a low cost city, but like Toronto , so many migrants from nearby countries like myanmar, Bangladesh, pakistan, indonesia, Philippines. Sometimes tourists are scammed by them but locals are blamed as they are trading even though they are not allowed. They are only allowed in certain sectors. Also we too have homelessness as well but not as bad as other western countries.

This is the unfortunate outcome of woke policies. Toronto was awesome in the 90s and into the mid 2000s. Been here a very long time and escaped north before the chaos.\nNow woke Toronto council has approved many new taxes and fees to place upon their subjects. One being an extra sales tax on goods and services within Toronto city proper. Can you believe it?\nStill needs to be signed off on by the province. The city is out of control in so many ways I can’t even begin to explain all of the details.

Toronto has always been the anus of Canada.Leftist policies ruined it same as any democrat US state or city.Notice it wasnt as bad prior to 2015? Its no coincidence trudeaus progressive communist policies ruined it.

Toronto is a wonderful city compared to others, I will always miss it ☘️?

I live in the suburbs north of T.O. and look forward to moving back to Toronto. But, T.O. Is such a mess and I put that on self serving politicians who let the place run down. When it’s not a condo, turning into a condo, it’s boarded up stores waiting to be condos. No city planning vision, just more congestion.

Toronto, was destroyed by the FAR left, DEEP STATE Governments. That includes the DEMONCRATS from the US, just look at ALL the BLUE state run cities. This was all panned, not a mistake.
2023-09-19 0
Ireland is going the very same way. We have a huge housing and homeless problem here now. Maybe it's a symptom of selfish capitalist greed. I love Toronto and Vancouver, but would never be able to afford to live there.?????
2023-09-19 0
Toronto is just becoming a mega city and this is what is happening in all other countries. Policies and lifestyles are not changing fast to make this transition smoothly.

Lived in Toronto for 21 years. Moved out 2 years ago to Calgary. The Best decision ever made. I only wish we made this move much earlier. Calgary is great, but if you decide to move here, please don't bring the TO attitude. Please don't Ontario my Alberta!

Well, where to begin Ms McLeod. \nFirstly I couldn't agree more, Toronto is now a mere shadow of its former self. It's a shit-hole actually, unless you have the significant wealth to live behind the iron gates of the Bridle Path, Forest Hill or Rosedale. \nSecondly, the increase in crime is a direct correlation to unfettered and unchecked immigration policies of Liberal socialist governments who continually keep the flood gates open for the undesirable and criminal elements who bring their mentality from off-shore. \nThirdly, the lack of public resources for those suffering from mental health issues is a direct correlation to the disastrous policies in the 1970's of closing of virtually every institution in Canada who dealt with those who needed help. We were told the institutions were trampling on the rights and freedoms these Canadians. Today, there is simply no where for those to turn for help. And politicians of every stripe don't want to touch the issue with a 10-foot pole. Have a look at Vancouver's Downtown East Side - it is an apocalypse of a horrible social experiment gone wrong. The same is happening in Toronto, and even my hometown not far down the 401. \nFourthly, inflation and excessive income tax is a silent killer of hopes, dreams, aspirations and communities. \nI applaud your decision to look elsewhere for your new home base!

The rest of Canada needs a divorce from Toronto. At this point Toronto (voters) are the #1 thing bringing the country to its knees.
2023-09-19 1
All of the major Canadian cities are rapidly becoming $#itholes with Toronto at the forefront. However, Toronto, as a whole, votes for all of these bad things to happen to the city, so how can you really be mad about it?
2023-09-19 0
Diversity is what has destroyed Toronto, the more diverse it is the more dangerous it gets. I have lived here my entire life and have seen the change for the worse, it has especially nosedived since the Trudeau era starting in 2015. But new mayor Chow will make it even worse in a very short amount of time.
2023-09-19 0
Good choice Alina. I am leaving Toronto after 40 years, moving to south western Ontario to live in the summer and South East Asia for the winters
2023-09-19 0
Absolutely agree with this. Toronto is saturated and overloaded, please avoid. There will be a lot of people dying on the streets from the cold this winter.
2023-09-19 0
keep voting ndp and liberals and all cities in canada will end up like Toronto
2023-09-19 0
Ive lived in Toronto for 20 years, it's continuously been getting worse, more expensive prices and higher crime and homelessness.\nI would recommend everyone stay away from Toronto, its a disaster.

Lived in TO in the late 60s and it seemed a clean and safe city. My brother-in-law lived in TO for about 50 years and loved the place. My wife used to visit him often in the 70s and 80s and she liked Toronto a lot. We went again in 2019 for my BIL's funeral and I thought the place was a dump.
2023-09-19 0
I made a video on Toronto as well. It surely has changed and the quality of life here is not what it used to be.
2023-09-19 1
Born, raised, educated, worked, married & started my own family in TO. We left TO & extended fam. several yrs ago. We knew living in Toronto was not sustainable. Best thing we ever did?.
2023-09-19 1
Definitely your video is educational. Let us hope and pray for things to get better in Toronto and to the places that are struggling. Thank you. :)

I Love Toronto. It’s my second home. I’d move there if I could. I love your channel. But respectfully disagree with you. Take care.
2023-09-19 0
Rents are up 40% is killing Toronto. Pause immigration and cut taxes on earners less than 100K
2023-09-19 0
The social and moral changes in Toronto fit the globalist agenda to dismantle the traditional family structure.\n\nThe financial apocalypse facing Toronto and Canada during the coming global currency reset/crisis will make poverty slaves of more than 25% of us.\n\nAll planned. All agenda. Good luck
2023-09-19 0
Yes there are better options out there in Canada and around the world, only people who have lived elsewhere know. Toronto is unaffordable, not very clean, high crime, homeless people and no culture of it anymore.
2023-09-19 0
Moved to the east coast 3 years ago because of Covid and starting to see the decay beginning to form in Toronto, came back last year to visit, what a disappointment this ciry has become! Turns out to be the best decision I have ever made!

Like you Alina, Harriet and I lived in a city where we were born , raised and loved. Boston. What's happening in Toronto is happening in Boston. The big cities in North America are experiencing\nsimilar issues, some better than others. We still have family in Boston. We continue to go there as you do in Toronto. It's been a while since we've been to Toronto. The two cities are very\nsimilar. Harriet and I are optimists, we hope that the future of yours and our beloved cities will bring us back to a place that we remember fondly. Sending much love❤❤ from Richmond, Va. Toronto is what happens when an entire city goes woke.

I have lived in Toronto many years i originally as a child grew up in Mississauga. Both cities have changed with time. One of the saddest things is that many people don’t feel safe in Toronto. I have many great memories I still currently live in Toronto I can afford my place a one bedroom in west Toronto. But at the same time my landlady’s. Doesn’t provide what’s necessary. Being no doorbell inadequate heating mice around at times. However I put up with it because the alternative is not there at this time \nI work hard like many do. But at the end of the day. Not much left over

So how is multiculturalism doing these days in Toronto and Vancouver the two cesspools of Canada
2023-09-19 0
Taught myself how to trade equities. Now toronto is within living there again. Yes, I’m buying a place there now and loving the idea of living there

I am born and rasied in Toronto and I would have to say what is happening now in this city is do to the covid fallout. Toronto has always had higher rent then most Canadian cities but I think with the loss of jobs and and the rise in cost of living all over Canada due to covid I would say that Toronto is going through some hard times like everywhere eles in Canda. Unfortunately because it is the bigest city alot of people have moved here in the hope of a better life. I have noticed a rise in drug use but have not noticed a rise in violent crime. They do say that the TTC is got worse...Hard to say as I take the TTC every day across the city and have not noticed any diferance other then more and more people are useing it again. During covid the subway was empty and now all these people that have never used it before are having to learn how it all works and subway edict. I think media is making the subway seem worse then it is. To me it has not changed. I do agree the real problem is dealing with homeless that was more hiden but now is out in the open. Funding from all levels of goverment needs to help all big canadain cites more. I think Toronto will come back again to what it was pre-covid. Hopfully soon!!
2023-09-19 0
Toronto continues to vote in the worst types of politicians and frankly as a Canadian I think the country would be better off without it.
2023-09-19 0
I was born and raised in Toronto and I used to love it. I ABSOLUTELY HATE TORONTO NOW.
2023-09-19 0
I was just in Toronto yesterday and I noticed how many homeless there were compared to when I was there in 2019. It breaks my heart because I spent so much time in the city growing up.
2023-09-19 0
With all the major cities with all their problems (ie. high cost of living), Toronto ranks as the best for me.
2023-09-19 0
Toronto thành phố đẹp có gái xinh như Alina. Nhà giá cao, chi phí sinh hoạt cao giống rất nhiều nơi trên thế giới thật ko vui cuộc sống khó hiểu
2023-09-19 1
I live in Toronto. I am seriously considering leaving, even though I have a job downtown. Things have gone downhill a lot in the past 4 years.
2023-09-19 0
That wasn’t an easy video to make, Alina. You were more diplomatic than I am about my hometown NYC. I left when I was 35. Crime, costs and homelessness are through the roof. Not even the rich can afford it anymore. New York and Toronto are great places to be from, but they are no longer meant to be lived in.
2023-09-19 0
Toronto and Vancouver are both Sh*T Holes.
2023-09-19 0
Oh!! Just say Toronto suck
2023-09-19 0
It’s getting harder to live in Toronto these days. The crime is going up and inflation and rent prices are through the roof. Never mind that with a full time job you can’t afford to eat out or buy grocery to have a decent meal at home.

Hi Alina! Great video and very informative. Never been to Toronto but would like to visit it maybe for a week or two one day. The things that are going on in Toronto are also going on in most all of our US cities now as well and it's just a shame.
