Wrong. Immigration is destroying our country

Immigration has DESTROYED Canada beyond any chance of repair. Canada has fallen, it will never be the same great country it once was.

Canada is no longer Canada. Canadiens are almost a minority in there own country. We have very large cities that we are a minority in. There is so much hate towards white people. FUK TRUDEAU. there is a major housing crisis because we have to many immigrants in a short period of time. The immigrants barley speak English if any at all and are taking over the schools.They are causing the crime rate to rise substantially. Canada is no longer a great country to live.

The rate that immigrants are let into the country should be half of the number of homes that are built that year. Want to let more immigrants in to boost Economy? Built more homes.

Trudeau has systematically destroyed every aspect of Canadian life over the past 8 years. I feel badly for immigrants that have come here to make a better life, being very disappointed with the reality of life in Canada with its high inflation, high taxes, high crime rates, a compromised judicial system and poor healthcare. Many of us that were born and raised here are also looking to leave. It's shocking how far this country has fallen in 8 years and there's no sign that this government will change course anytime soon.

1 in 40 people in Canada is an international student.\nLast year we let in the same amount of new immigrants as the USA, a country with 10x our population.\nLet that sink in.

Canada was built by immigrants no doubt. When Canadians are unwilling to do the low pay hard labour, and give birth to kids, there has to be immigrants to fill the gap. Housing crisis is the elephant in the room, it has been around for quite a while. Remember one decade ago in Vancouver #donthaveonrmillion? Its worse now. International students became easy solution/target for politicians to blame because they cannot vote. They were considered as solution of labour shortage back during Covid then there was a labour shortage. Sean Fraser the minister of immigration back then made it super easy for international students to stay in Canada permanently. When he takes the office of Minister of Housing, he starts to point fingers to those students. Who let them into this country in the first place? We need more roads more houses. IRCC needs to work faster to get more skilled workers doctors into the country. Putting a cap on current immigration level is not a good idea.

As an immigrant to Canada from a country that produces some of the most in-demand professionals, inventors, and artists in the world, I am appalled at North America’s ‘get rich easy’ culture. The States at least has a booming innovation sector that ensures it’s producing things others want to buy and can’t themselves produce. By contrast, Canada’s ENTIRE FREAKING ECONOMY seems to be built on getting rich easy without producing a thing of value for the world: how can flipping houses be the largest chunk of your GDP?! It sickens me. I’ll live and work there - at a job that pays six figures and came to Canada only because I moved there - for a few years, and then move. I have never seen a more dull and uninspired group of people.

It's all good when you're a greedy landlord collecting rent, or a crooked private college collecting thousands of dollars. These are young kids who are being exploited by our country. On the other end of the spectrum, you have single occupancy residents living in multi-million dollar mansions with no declared income. We need targeted immigration strategy isolated to each province. We need provincial and municipal governments to start building affordable public housing again as they did in decades past. Expecting private developers to build housing is ridiculous. I am a son of immigrants, i am Canadian, I have a great job but I live in Vancouver. The average house in my neighbourhood is 1.7 million dollars. I think that is criminal.

Canada is fast becoming a 3rd world country, its such a shame. I'm from an immigrant family, everyone is accepting of immigrants here, but the government clearly went into overdrive for reasons no one can comprehend, and ALL from one single country to boot. The students are just the tip of the iceberg.

We have high unemployment rate, and high cost of living, please stop taking more immigrants into the country and prioritize your own citizens first.

I supervise a lot of immigrants, the majority are problematic and less productive than the local population. This is all about universities making bank and corporations paying people less, nothing more. A country doesn't need immigrants, it needs a financially stable and safe environment to raise children that will become the productive workforce and innovators.

I don’t think the student’s are a problem as much as immigration itself.\nCanada has been very negligent the way immigrants were taking in to the Country. Instead of letting these immigrants responsibly come into the Country , they were stampeding into Canada without anyone watching that these people even were eligible or not. We have no doubt many undesirable’s who would not have been allowed under normal circumstances. Even now people have no place to stay, yet more and more immigrants are coming and sit on top of each other. How is this healthy for these people and how is this healthy for Canada and Canadians. The Government is so irresponsible, that they simply have to be thrown out !!

Never compare a country with another. We are all educated immigrants who decided to immigrate over to Canada. Im from India, Canadians ive dealt with for my last 10 years are super friendly and sweet people. Yes as a Canadian now i love this soil, weather and i would not mind even giving my life for this country who has made my life better and given me all freedom to live my life the way i want.

The one thing not being taken into consideration is that most if not all indian student immigrants are actually working here under the table , they are also sending massive amounts of money back to india ..Canada is losing billions being sent to India taken directly out of our economy .. I remember canada immigration has a certain standard and requirements. There were different immigration program such as family class business class. When it comes to student visa graduates studies were offered on funding and scholarships.recently we can see number of high school graduates to attend community College. Canadian takes grant student loan to start any program in college and universities imagine international students from developing countries where the tuition fee is almost double I don't understand the screening process of students. It has benefited to consultants and has ruin canada reputation. There are number of videos in tiktok and YouTube of people making v blog on leaving canada. I feel sad. Canada is a beautiful country but the greed of money has completely ruin the reputation.

We have no housing and not enough doctors. Trudeau’s unrelenting flow of 500,000 immigrants per year is wrecking the country. SLOW DOWN!!!!

The federal government's goal is to attract immigrants who have the capital, income earning potential (skills), and desire to be comfortable in Canada. It's clearly not easy to settle here. My great grandparents had to build not only their house but their whole town (its community, services, systems), and I doubt it's easier for immigrants today. It's probably even harder, psychologically, because immigrants now are surrounded by others who've already settled. Immigrating to a country with a lower cost of living is probably easier, but Canada's peace, multiculturalism, nature, and growth policies are quite attractive. (I've lived elsewhere, so I can compare.)

I feel like immigrants in my own country. Thanks to JT we have influxes of immigrants and international students are coming to this country and grabbing our kids jobs

I went to Canada in 1993, to Montreal. And after 30 years I was more happy to leave and don't plan to come back. Not the same country anymore. Too much immigration, to expensive, too much taxes ans many others to come, not a good infrastructure (they have no money left ), not good services, crazy gouvernement. And from my point of view the bad is about to come. Bad politics, covid was crazy, it don't worth my time, presence and money.

The purpose of immigration is to strengthen a country. It is not unreasonable to set limits on different types of immigrants in order to keep Canadas economy strong.

Fedex, Adobe, Micron, Microsoft, Google, Western Union CEOs are all foreigners in USA. You cannot find a foreign CEO in Canada. Canada is a country where your life is wasted as immigrant. Listened to your vlog and I want to suggest few things as an immigrant myself... I am not sure of your detials but seems like your husband came back after 2 months leaving you there with family.. I have rarely seen any family settling abroad unless they have seriously burnt all there bridges back home.. if you start with a mindset that let's go and see and if doesn't work out we will come back 90% odds are you will go back.. firstly come with absolutely clear mind that no matter what happens you are not going back.. and you will make it here no matter what. The journey will become much easier and one directional.. Secondly you do not have to rely on any family abroad to move.. this is an other mistake people make.. they think they will have support but this support is actually a limiting option ... it doesn't let you get on feet quicker. Nobody can support you for long abroad and sooner than later you have to get on your feet. once you over stay your welcome you can start getting some unwelcoming vibes and then you get depressed thinking there is no one genuinely yours in this country.. you waste your initial time relying on your family.. better start without them in the first place and get going from day one.. and lastly 2 3 months is nothing to settle any where let alone in Canada.. you have to be patient, persistent and focused and after 2 years and after seeing all the calendar and religious seasons twice, you finally start to think of new place as your home.. its hard but in the end it's truly worth it and then you can never go back to India or Pakistan

If we dont stop this the country is going to be ruined for 20 years. We are going to have chronic infrastructure and housing problems for AN ENTIRE GENERATION. Our economy is going to collapse because we have too many people and not enough jobs. We are literally having problems developing nations in Africa or Asia have except we ARE DOING IT TO OURSELVES. We have no neighbors, no swarm of illegal immigration we are literally bombing our own country with people.

No, Liberal media and Trudeau team all got it wrong again. International student are rich and educated people. They don't stay in low income housing areas like Trudeau team think these people are using up all rental apartments. They rent lux condos. In the long run, if they want to settle here, they bring money into the country, and they're good for the economy vs many uneducated poor immigrants ended up into gangs. Altogether, the damage to this country by bringing in so many international students will cause Canadian citizens to immigrate elsewhere, including me at some point. It's hard to have this discussion sometimes as people will say you're being offensive, but really, I doubt the current climate of Canada is satisfactory for these overseas students either, their housing and job options here are poor and this affects Canadian citizes. If you go to places like Vancouver or Ottawa, it's completely unrecognizable to the unregulated amount of international students who are typically in poor situations.

It's a scam to bring too many immigrants to this country while locals don't have any jobs and living miserable lives.

I have immigrated to Canada 38 years ago from Poland. Quality of life is horrible- work - home - watching Netflix unless you go out to eat mediocre food and be forced to pay minimum 15 % tip on already high bill. People in home country can afford to buy apartments, enjoy quality of life. Regret coming to this country.

I am Chinese ethnic was born in Höng Kong but moved to Singapore in 1984. \nAt that time I could have migrated to Canada or Australia. I am an electrical engineer with a master’s degree and have worked in the States for some time before moving to Singapore. I could have settled in the States as well if I really wanted to. But having studied and worked in the States for some time, I realised it’s not my place. Culture difference, racial discrimination, political ideology to name just a few. So I moved to Singapore which had a job for me. I have no regrets. The country has a very efficient government, housing, medical, education needs are pretty well taken care of, not perfect but good compared to many developed countries. Crime rate is among the lowest. I believe If you have the talents you can try to apply for immigration here. Also Höng Kong which has a similar standard of living is also offering good opportunities to world talents to settle over there.

Why you are hiring immigrants from other countries such as in Asia but you cannot solve the homeless problem? why there is no rehabilitation center for drug addicts same in SE Asia?

Its not only CANADA which has high cost of living, here in NZ too..,housing cost is high , health care is stillcoping up, but long wait also in the hospital is the same as u r complaining in Canada, but during winter,it is not that bad because we dont have snow here, only in some part of the country.. immigration increases due to need of people coming to finance the needs of the country which Is global, i think....

Muslims must live in Muslim countries immigrate to Muslim countries that us better for them..they cannot adjust otherwise

Been in Toronto for just over a year. Definitely shocked to say it’s expensive, not safe, and both of those are directly related to the mass, unchecked immigration that is putting a huge strain. Our govt is destroying our country from within but not putting Canadians first and bringing in millions during hard economic times and a housing crisis. It’s pure insanity.

My parents immigrated from Britain in the 1959s after WWII and built a comfortable life! At 72 I live a relatively comfortable life although I have spent all my savings and I currently rent! I lived in Spain with my much younger Colombian wife who passed away in 2019. My pension income is sufficient for me to live since I returned to Canada and I have better than adequate healthcare and dental care! The short story is \nTurd and the Turdettes were elected because Harpoons and his band of buttkissing bootlickers were self-serving incompetents. Now Turd, who has never been competent to be PM, which his long list of scandals should easily prove, is going to compel the election of another incompetent self-serving politician. Canadians never learn, switching from one idiot to another as the country spirals into the sewer. The proposed level of immigration and climate change options will turn Canada into a third world country? Maybe we can call it Turdland and then we will all be Turds!

Funny thing, Halifax is bursting at the seams with new arrivals. It’s expected to double in size in the next decade. There’s another ethnic grocery store opening every week. Our population has grown by 10 million people in 20 years, largely due to immigration. Toronto is bursting at the seams and is the most polyglot city on the planet. I have noticed a lot of these whiny videos by immigrants who say it’s no good to move here. I think they are not telling the truth about the tsunami of immigration going on here in Canada right now. Trouble is, there’s not enough housing for the 40 million people here right now. There’s not enough doctors, nurses, hospitals, social services/workers to service our present population. Still, the government flaps its gums about wanting 100 million people here by 2100. If that’s true, southern Ontario will look like Tokyo. There has to be a reevaluation of putting the majority of new arrivals in the GTA. If people want to move here, they should be willing to go to smaller cities and towns across the country.
