In the end it all depends on both the kids AND the parents. If they genuinely bring the parents over for the parents own sake its WONDERFUL, BUT....the truth is, that the cost of living in these countries is so high AND, the kids want to attain and maintain a certain standard of living, that BOTH husband and wife NEEDS to go out to work..and what happens is that they end up USING the parents only for babysitting, cooking cleaning etc.... AND for their PENSIONS.... But they're given no respect. So its up to the parents also. BCZZ they're SO vital to the survival of the family unit...they have that power to stand up for themselves and get the respect they deserve. But the thing is, indian parents are martyrs.....they will suffer AND complain...but they will never abandon their kids and let them suffer....so that cycle of misery and disrespect never breaks.... and the situation never changes. The best thing is for the parents to get that pension and go back home every six mths, and at least enjoy some of their life. Sad but true.???

Living in the US is better than Canada until you get really sick, then you need to mortgage your house 3 times just to keep yourself alive. There are problem with every country when you only compare them to the best countries in their respective fields. The past 3 years have been very difficult for all countries.

We actually feels secured because of them because drunk people causing havock and trash can't cause trouble here. D&rug dealers can't also linger in our area because the Muslim people here doesn't care about them $#it and will tell police about them.\n\nThe people with other religions also come to them to talk if there is neighborhood disputes.\n\nBut! Disgusting get them and their families out of the country. They come to the west Christian countries and they dictate what we should do. Follow the rules and cultures of the countries you go to . Can you imagine a Christian doing this in a Muslim country. They’d be beheaded in the street in front of baying crowds. No such thing as Shari law in Britain. Go to a Muslim country if you want Shari law or learn to live and respect other people’s rights and choices.

I am a Canadian and I am puzzled by many of the claims you make. First housing price will vary a lot depending if you are in Vancouver, Toronto or Quebec City. Where I live, in the greater Montreal area, it's not difficult to buy a house if you have 2 median salaries. You say healthcare is expensive ?? It's mostly free (paid by our Taxes) and there are a lot of jobs posted. Almost all companies have a very hard time recruiting as there are very few candidates. The only thing I will give you is grocery price which is indeed expensive. Ultimately I agree that Canada is not great but where would I go ??? U.S. , Western Europe or every where I can think of is even worst in most respect.
