Assalamualaikum, i'm your new subscriber, admire you guys a lot for sacrificing the comfort living in Canada for the sake of humanity. If i may suggest you to go check my country Indonesia or my neighbor Malaysia. You can hear calling for pray 5x a day, mosques are everywhere, halal food also everywhere. A lot of choice of education for your children, generally or Islamic ones. And most important thing is the people and government against genocide. We don't have any diplomatic relationship and never acknowledge the state of IsNotReal. Also 1 more thing, living cost here is relatively low compare to Canada or any other countries. As a Canadian myself, there are definitely a lot of problems going on here right now. Im on Vancouver Island and its very expensive. A lot of problems with homelessness and addiction here as well. \nIm probably going to be stuck in Canada forever lol, but I really like Southern Europe. Im not sure how big the Muslim population is in those countries. There are countries like Qatar and UAE where the official religion is Islam.

Salam ?? I'm happy for you. Do whatever is best for your family. My father-in-law was born and raised in the states, remarried and moved to Malaysia. If his opinion was the one to go by, Malaysia is to be ranked as the best country in the world. It has everything you would want according to your list of why you're leaving Canada: warm weather; affordable; Muslim nation; doesn't support israehell. I live in Michigan. I hate it here for the exact same reasons you outlined. I have literally never traveled outside of Michigan EVER due mostly to fear and anxiety of traveling. So the idea of MOVING is almost impossible due to fear and anxiety alone. I have a question, what about extended family? Won't you miss them, or are they tagging along? Salam and good luck ??

Don't come to Canada, you are going to pay almost 40% income tax, after that income tax, you will pay sales tax 13%, plus outrage 18% to 25% tips everywhere you eat. Yes that 25% after tax money goes directly to tips.

The definition of a canadain is an american without a gun and public health care... otherwise it is hard to tell the difference.... Canada has almost 9 months of winter and 3 months of bad skating... The province of Quebec which is still part of canada (don't tell them that) has the language police to be as anti-american and any democratic as possible, they only tolerate english if it is in US$ and tax other taxes with the most expensive bloated government of any state north of Mexico. The cartels are envious... all things purchased are imported (except animals and greenhouse tomatoes)are american with the exchange rate of almost 33%... If you are a doctor or nurse or medical specialist trained in western medicine like Europe, Australia, etc. You almost have to start over.... SAD. Like América, big cars/trucks are king, public transit is not a thing... yeh there are some buses in a few major cities, more of an after thought... The only positive thing about coming from another country climate is you have something to compare with.... Personally i was born here so where do i go... A few friends have travelled to the US but have not returned... its warmer in Texas i guess... Canadians are suspicious of Asians because they come with money and buy up property esp in Vancouver/Toronto hence the concern... As for you making friends, you seem to be very Americanized, speak English well and not so traditional except for being married... you would make a lot of people comfortable among traditional Canadians... just my after thoughts...

However broken it is, I'm still making myself adapt to its requirements. I'm likely to go through the professional route where I get sponsored by an employer for a professional job to get that green card. Canada sucks and that's why I'm investing in my education to get out of here and get a much higher paying job down south

I find it so amusing that Canadians always have to preface everything with self righteous boasting about how multicultural they are, how their city has a world class this and that—in this case—film festival etc. etc. I have never been anywhere in Europe for example where first anyone even mentions Canada much except to say that there are a lot of trees. And no one in real cities with a culture like Paris, Madrid, Berlin harp on how world class they are or how multicultural they are. Also, in terms of immigration, give me a break—you have obviously not travelled anywhere—go to Berlin, Paris, New York etc. to see people from all over the world. You need to understand that the price of ..let’s say telecom is built in a linear topology so that there are much fewer regional centres across the country to spread the cost of infrastructure. This is true for the railway..trans-Canada highway…air transport..and yes telecom network.\n\nSecond..it’s kind of ironic that you are enthusiastic about new immigrants soon coming into the country…but then you immediately talk about a housing shortage..with construction way behind….so with that being the reality…how is this immigration wave going to affect an already overloaded / overpriced housing situation across the country?

Its highly depressing for parents who come only with love of their children. I believe if you have everything in India ..there is no need to go abroad. Paise ke greed kabhi khatam nai hoti. All of those issues are the same in any OCDE country. \n\nHousing market is shit in Europe too, even worse I would say, but at least they have decent public transports, so you can live outside a city and still go to your work fast. I would encourage Canadians to get involved more in politics and demand changes to the system. Housing is high in Canada due to lack of building permits and blue collar laborers. Canada accepted a high rate of white collar skill immigrants but lack job opportunities for them. Vancouver economy is tourism dependent while Alberta is energy base and Toronto financial base. Healthcare is available for every Canadian but salaries are low in the industry compared to US. The government should encourage companies to invest in Canada and create jobs for the economy. Since the tax rate in Canada is higher compared to the US, citizens should ask themselves if the money is going to good use and generating jobs in the economy.

Canada is not perfect. Our health care is over burdened for one thing, and real estate is overpriced. But I don't know any of my fellow Canadians leaving en masse. Like, where would we go? The Scandinavian countries aren't exactly welcoming any of us with open arms... All countries have their problems. Canada is the partner you settle for because there aren't a lot of better options

The image of Canada the Good has been mere CBC propaganda. The fact of the matter is Canada has been going downhill for more than a generation. This is because of the bloated bureaucracy at all government levels. Those are the jobs the university grads get instead of good high-paying jobs in expanding industry. We also have been undergoing de-industrialization from NAFTA with jobs in the auto sector moving to Mexico. Globalization has meant that Canadian Jobs are sacrificed for the Global agenda. The green energy sector in its present form can in no way make up for the losses being engineered by the Federal Government. A lot of our dissatisfaction resides in Ottawa.

Like the U.S., most Canadians consider themselves compassionate liberals and thus feel obligated to vote for said, compassionate liberal politicians. The problem is, for Canada and the U.S., these compassionate liberal politicians don't know how to run the nation's economy except to run it further into the ground. I'm am leaving Canada after 6 years here, going to central Europe: Higher salaries, stronger currency, way more PTO, more sick days, lower taxes, also free health insurance but way shorter waiting times, less crime, the cities aren't filled with drug zombies and homeless encampments, etc. etc.

With 9 month of experience, I am truly considering going back to my country, here you cannot get a job related to the degree that you have even having 3 years experience with. They will pay the lowest in the low despite the Glassdoor average salary. Add on the high living cost and complex extremely long hiring process, there is no good career path and is all about survival. Sorry to say, but when locals are struggling, I don’t understand why asking foreigners to come… Pretty much many of us and locals are so disappointed+angry+frustrating, this country drain all my saving, I come here to work, not purely let Canada eating all my money. And yes, they said value education, but a degree will not let you to get an entry admin job cus they expected Master degree, lasting many of their systems and 10 years experience. Moreover, if you don’t have a car, the job will not consider you no matter it is an entry position.

As a Canadian Immigrant I can confirm everything in this video is absolutely correct. What he didn’t say is the problems have been created by Leftists within Canada. It’s fast becoming a communist country and will go the way of Venezuela if the Trudeau government isn’t removed immediately. If Trudeau gets in again we, like many others will leave Canada. In my province healthcare is ostensibly nonexistent. Wait times at ER's are well over 12 hours and you're often directed to go home without ever seeing a doctor. \nThere is an extreme deficit of doctors. I've been waiting 6 years for one and there are people who have waited much longer with no relief in sight. \nHousing is unaffordable. A decent (nothing special) one bedroom 1 bath apartment is around 1600 a month and this is a largely rural province, not a metropolitan city. \nHomes are being bought as fast as they go on the market at extremely inflated prices by people moving here to escape the more populated provinces. This has raised property taxes by 20% in the last 2 years.\nThe economy is in shambles. Homelessness is exploding and the government seems uninterested in fixing it in any realistic or helpful way.\nFederal and provincial income taxes are nearly 50% of your income (44% for me and a bit more for my wife). So, what money you do make you get to keep a little more than half.\nElectricity is about 3 times what it is in the US and the rate here is increasing by 29% over the next 3 years.\nGroceries are unreasonably expensive and becoming more pricey by the day. Provincial sales tax is 15% on top of those groceries as well. \nThis is a short list of a few of the more glaring issues but there are far more. Canada has transformed over the last 5 years into a place I hardly recognize anymore. If something isn't done about it soon we'll be living in a third world country by 2030.

They show a lot of grocery stores when they talk about monopolies, but it’s in everything. When I was getting my internet set up I found out only one of the two main companies in Canada is provided for my area (they do this on purpose). So I pay over $100 a month just for internet. And literally have no other cheaper option other than living with no internet. (I’m in a small town so there aren’t even any cafes or anything to pop into). And live alone. Another thing, we’ve got a big country, and I live in a rural community, so most of my colleagues drive at least 45 minutes to get to work, one way, because they’d rather live in the city. And this is NB so you can’t take public transportation like trains to get here, you’re driving on the highway to get here. Since the pandemic houses have more than doubled, I did get a raise, but it was I think 4% over the last three years. So cost of living is definitely increasing at a much higher rate. Before the pandemic I could buy a week of groceries for one person for $60, now it’s more than $100 for a week easily, and that’s with looking for bargains and reducing the amount of meat and fresh produce I eat. It can’t keep getting worse, because people already can’t afford it, so something is going to have to change before everything breaks completely.

I wonder if the reason so many in so many places believe that medical care is a problem is actually a matter of expectations. I know that in the 90s, my little town in Kansas had as many imaging machines as the entire country of Canada, but Canadians were certain they had superior medical care, as did the English. Expectations.\nEven then, if something was so bad that only a silver bullet treatment would possibly help, they still send patients to the USA because they are not equipped to help. Quiet management.\nBut basic medical, especially if you don't have much money, was traditionally better in England. I don't think Canadians had choices, but the functional reality was similarly better than in the States. Expectations.\nFor some time, Americans have had a sense that miracles are practical things that happen all the time, just pull out all the stops to keep grandma in agony another week. This has been reinforced by the civil courts. It is dangerous to be a doctor who does not recommend EVERYTHING be done to prolong life, even miserable life. Insane expectations that waste a lot of money. \nBut basic medical? Just shut up and go to work. Expectations.\nA century ago, there were no significant differences in expectations amongst developed countries because the expectations, based on the technologies of the day, were the same. Plus, there was only so much that could be done, so the total costs of everything were predictable and could be paid for publicly or privately less angst or disappointment. Expectations.\nWhen the technologies change like they have been in medicine in this century, it's good guess that so do expectations. It's also a good bet that there is a mismatch between expectations and available resources. Broken system.

This is a logical result of the fact that for the past 30 years Kanada keeps electing globalists, sociopaths and freedom haters at every level of their government. But forget about the economy, these days they are legislating how people should address each other, and even attempting to legislate how people should THINK(!!!). Lot of educated Indians with degrees go to Canada only to do unskilled low wage jobs. They pay heavy taxes and rent and can't afford food. Living a paycheck to paycheck life. And USA is no better. They have strict anti immigration laws now. So i suggest you educated Indians to stay in India do the kind of jobd that fits your qualifications. And pay your income tax correctly. You know only 2% of Indians pay their income taxes. Tax evasion is preventing the development of India. If you love your country don't do that. Because you ain't cheating your govt but cheating your country and ultimately cheating yourself

Every place has its own pros and cons. No place is perfect. Definitely you are more secure in Canada compared to India, but that too because of people only. There are many factors which you have to take into consideration, you have to adapt. If you go with a mindset that you keep on comparing India at every step and that too in initial years, then definitely you will never feel at ease.
