Second the soil was not great , in 60s-70s it was people of punjab who worked day night to make it cultivatable. It was not only grain. Then these people moved to utrakhand and UP. Your video is biased and stupid at best. You should also cover the reasons for unemployment, and problems in Punjab. The problem is people from Punjab are so desperate to fly out of India, they have no intention or will to grow India's economy. How many IAS, toppers, businessmen you will see from Punjab? Its all about the mindset, look at other states like Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra for instance, population there is generating young entrepreneurs who are taking the country ahead. Toronto can do better, perhaps hire a Singaporean team of retired urban planners and a few architects. There is definitely enough land in Canada to do some amazing stuff. Also expand on that light rail system, Singapore got their Mass Rapid Transit idea from Canada decades ago and it's a shame to see Toronto fall behind like this.

I agree with you Lyn,its hard to start life in Canada,changing visas to work permits is very expensive also &need to find a willing employer to start the process(lmia),not easy tho..my advise ,when traveling make sure you have a host on this end or atleast enough money to enable you stay in a hotel .. also people should avoid cities like Toronto which are crowded,personally am loving it here opportunities are many...

Each individual has their own experience. Some will make it, others won't! It is the reality of life. It is that simple. But du feel lucky enough 2 make it 2 the finish line? Most of the third world countries have been indoctrinated into thinking that the first world is covered with streets of gold esp thru Hollywood movies.. So this the mentality that most ppl go with when striving 2 move 2 these countries!. Ppl sell family assets like land thinking they'll recover all that money once they arrive in countries like Canada until reality kicks in on arrival with no working docs. Life is such a struggle in third countries to the extent that some ppl say that they'd rather suffer n die on the streets of countries like Canada than suffer in say Kenya! But we forget that streets of countries like Canada can be real brutal weatherwise esp in seasons like winter where ppl die of the extreme cold. This may not be the case on the African continent with conducive warm weather. The Arab world itself has extreme temps that can knock the isshh out of u! Basically, all countries have challenges..The $1M question is, which challenges can u tolerate as an individual? It is only u who can answer that question n not anybody else. Not even yo own mother of father can answer that 4u!! So, b4 u decide 2 move 2 a foreign country, look deep down inside yoself n ask yoself if ur up 2 the challenges ahead of u, n wether ur up 2 the task of running thru that diaspora gauntlet!
