Why not send the army in for crowd control

Desperate people do desperate things, and may take absurd risks out of fear. These people, PEOPLE, are likely terrified of what happens to them in the lawless cartel-controlled border areas... Scenes like this that demonstrate such desperation break my heart. \n\nI don't think anyone watching this would do anything different if their choice was between trying to escape exploitation, robbery, rape, and murder, and getting arrested by Americans who will, at least, respect their human rights (mostly).\n\nDo people really think that any significant proportion of these poor, dispossessed, desperate people, and their children, are criminals trying to infiltrate and take advantage of the US, rather than hoping and praying for a place to live, a decent job, basic dignity, and some safety and human rights?\n\nBut, y'know, let's be honest. There are a lot of Americans that only see brown people 'invading' 'our land'... I wonder how Native Americans feel about this, eh? (Seriously, I'd like to know... Anyone?)

This makes me so angry. Go home with your crowd and fight for your country instead of fighting our border control.

How to start preparing. \n\nTake three days during the work week and turn off your electric and water. This may mean using a crock pot, hang drying clothes, using candles at night and opening windows for sunshine during the day etc. With the wiggle room you've created in those bills you now have some money to buy more food storage, medical supplies or invest in a small solar unit. \nMake an edc bag. This is something you will carry all the time (on your person or in your car) that could provide you with what you and your family need for 3 nights. Think about what you may put into an overnight bag if you were to stay at a hotel. This will ensure even if something happens and you're out you're able to shelter in place \nUnderstand how to take care of medical emergencies at home. Remember that in a major event, ems could be down or unavailable for sometime. While this is never the first line of defense in an emergency, understanding how to manage medical emergencies (high infections, deep wounds, pneumonia, asthma attacks, shock, 2nd and 3rd degree burns, poisoning, radiation sickness, torn ligaments, allergic reactions, excessive bleeding) while you wait on help can be life and death. \n Food, water, temperature control are your highest priorities. If faced with a major event where services are limited for more than 3 days, having stored food as well as a way to cook, a way to filter and store water, and a way to keep yourself cool or warm can be life altering. \n\nPlease remember as we are entering or for some of us are already in uncertain times, having this foundation gives security as well as lowers stress. It allows us to feel more in control and gain a more positive perspective on not only our lives but the world. I'm willing to answer any questions from my own experience in the comments if you feel overwhelmed!

We can't even afford it here ourselves... Try to get your country back under control if possible. There is already so much competition right now in Denver that I will need a wife to afford to buy a home here. It is ridiculously hard to get a home here unless you make $100k a year and were sent here from California with $50-100k support from their families, us normal people cannot compete with that.

Our government needs to get extremely tough on border control this has been an invasion and it will not stop and the ones who will be hurt is hard working Americans. We should be more angry but somehow there is a giant disconnect happening.

Why doesn’t the USA just go ahead and take over the entire country of Mexico? Or hell, all the way down to the Panama Canal would be even better for America, so much more land for farms, we can control the drugs again, and dammit, Mexicans are hard workers and loyal asf

They went down to this south american CONTRIES telling people to come here to the extended of paying them to leave their country and come to united states lying to them that the border will be open and promising things that ain't truth only to create more caos, now last week when news was flooded with trump news that he was going to be arrested, Russia and China sign an agreement to create new currency etc meanwhile they have us distracted with trump. Canada's not stupid like the United States they are not just going to let people enter their country an roam free illegally, Canada's won't even let you in their country if you are a United States citizen that owes child support in America, they have control over their border unlike the United States which is sad for the most rich an powerful country in the world but can't control its borders.

I moved to Canada from the US a few years ago. I lived in the US for over 30 year and the US government is a JOKE. Congress never got anything done regardless on what party is in office. If you're gay or trans I wouldn't move to the US because it's been very dangerous for that community especially in red states. The US still can't get better gun control to stop all of the mass school shootings yet and they think TikTok is the main threat right now. You can see where their priorities are. You can tell I moved to Canada due to political reasons lol Sure the cost of living in Canada are higher and I had to get adjusted to colder weather, but it was the best thing I ever did and I would NEVER move back to the US any time soon.
