Canadians are overleveraged. Many own second, third and fourth properties that they rent out. Once they have to renew into the teeth of higher rates you'll start to see a correction like what we saw in the 1980s. Couple that with higher unemployment and you have a recipe for a crash. Everyone wants lower house prices -- until we get them. Go try to renew your 600,000k mortgage on your million-dollar house that's now worth $800,000. \n\nHealth care is a problem - but where isn't it? The UK? The US? You don't waltz into someone's home and try to make it yours, instead be humble, courteous and show gratitude for the accommodation. Canada has been my home for the past 23 years. I will consider myself as a successful immigrant, my son born in Canada is at leading engineering university. My wife fulfilled with her career. Canada should put visa cap including immigration per country....follow the American policy. Its simply too many Indians that is changing the demographic balance by one ethnic group called Indian. I was born here in canada but my mom immigrated. Took her 20 years almost to get full citizenship . \nThe cap is needed . These past 5 years has been honestly out of control . \nI've personally worked jobs where international students knew exactly how to work the system . \nEven working directly with employers to bank hours so that they can go full-time during summer yet still get paid for the whole year as part time so the government doesn't see that they pass there maximum hours worked . \nThe access to credit aswell is super scary .

As an international student from India at a top university with a scholarship, I found it quite odd when I go to the Tim Hortons near McgIll or literally any food shop in Toronto and found talking to the guy/girl taking the order in Hindi. I am like bruh wtf I went from India to mini India, wasnt studying abroad supposed to be a difficult prospect. The senseless immigration that happens through diploma farms, that only increase the population of unskilled immigrants needs to stop. Like Canadian healthcare is on the verge of collapse, cuz u dont have enough doctors yet you want 200,000 more TimHortons workers from Punjab. I do not understand this policy. \n\nI also question the impeccable brain power of the Indians who leave the comfort of their family and home (which imo has massively better healthcare system) to come here and then live a life of hardship due to not having proper education or just not having enough money.

Coming from a Canadian who doesn't have a family doctor and has skin cancer the system is strained. If anything happens to me due to not having a family doctor please stand up for other Canadians who don't as well. Immigrants are taking all the doctors.

International students are not the problem, the problem is Asylum seeks, illegal immigrants that bring nothing but burdens of every type that Canada does not need....

Asian students only come to Canada to get PR (easiest way but more expensive). But now, finding a job is a big competition even after they graduated. Rental crisis is happening too due to illegal immigrants and massive foreign student influx. This is the same problem Australia is facing, so they are reducing foreign students intake. Local residents are finding it hard to get accommodation because of this problem!

We are accepting hundreds of thousands too many immigrants period. We do not need to bring so many people in as we owe them nothing but we owe our own taxpayers everything.

We have high unemployment rate, and high cost of living, please stop taking more immigrants into the country and prioritize your own citizens first.
