Canada has diversity which is good because we all can show our differences and interact socially but if you are diverse in a bad way to harm people you should not be let in a free country who has fought hard to gain freedom for decades!

I don't know why all of Latin America thinks that the USA and Canada have the responsibility of taking care of the people from Latin American Countries. I say let them fix their own countries. Mexico for example, has every resource that the USA has. Coal, oil, natural gas, mineral mines of every type, timber industries, rich farm land, etc..... You name the resource, Mexico has it. Yet the corruption of the Mexican Government keeps the people poor. Well I say, fix it!!! Don't come here looking for a new life. Fix the problem in your own country by any means necessary.

The Canadian Government does not care who or where there from to let into Canada at the end of the day its all about the dollar . The more people they let in the more money they can borrow from the international bankers , we are all on a big farm and slaves to the Government . When him and my grandma emigrated to the United States, they learned English and gained citizenship. I feel bad for them but as a Canadian, do I want them to become Canadian (prob will not pay income tax cause they won’t make a lot of money, being near poverty line)(and will require lots of help from the government)? Or someone from a rich country that goes through investment method to gain PR card (injecting 100-200k into local companies in cash for pr card)(they will most likely buy expensive stuff from our local economy). when I was 17 I was followed by a store detective. As I was leaving the store, in a very loud voice she accused me of stealing an item. Many people heard, and she had me go in the back storage area, demanding to look through my purse. I refused and told her the item in question I had placed on the shelf, as I did not have enough money to buy it. She told the stock boys not to let me leave and went to check the shelf after I refused to let her search my purse. She came back with the item and told me I could leave. I said I wasn`t going until she apologized to me. She said, ``I`m not going to apologize to you.` She sneered. The detective was black. I am white. I was the victim of racial profiling. This happened in a Shoppers. I wish I had known I was entitled to $8,000.00 like the lady in this film. I am sick of shows like these that racially target whites. To be fair, send a white person in a black neighbourhood store, and see what happens.

Oh hell no. Honestly I am a Canadian and enough is enough we have way too many people on welfare or can't find jobs and we are too busy letting more nd more immigrants into this country. Yes, I know we are all immigrants but come one we need to draw a line somewhere and stop immigration until we fix our problems that already exist like lack of jobs and funding.

Let's put it another way... I was born in Canada and I had moved abroad at 30 for work and was gone for about 10 years. When I got back, it happened to be the same year our PM was waiting at the airport for the arrival of some refugees with winter coats for them and their Medicare cards, as well as housing provided for them. I had to run around for a full month trying to get my drivers license renewed since it had expired, and had to wait a full 6 months to get a probationary Medicare card, p-r-o-b-a-t-i-o-n-a-r-y....I felt outraged. I am not saying that many don't have a valid reason to flee their country, but when they know that they will receive housing and cash, of course people will flock to Canada, even if they aren't fleeing something.

Let me get this straight: Government cheats and lies to the people, yet expects the people to follow the law? If you dont see whats wrong with that, you are part of the problem.

Living in Latin America is not that bad, well there are parts where you should avoid at all cost but there are places where you can have a safe decent life, most of you just say what comes out of your small little brains without ever even leaving your city your whole life. Its just that this people have lived and been so dependent from your system and in stretching their hands( beg) all this time that they not know what to do now. \n\nHe said that he wasted 15 thousand dollars in lawyer, if it would have been me I could have perfectly moved to lets say Costa Rica or Peru and still have money to buy land. But there is still hope in other places in Latin America.

I have often wondered why can't we have a healthcare system like Canada's but America spends all of it's money on so many things in the world because of our position on the world stage we just can't work that out, thats what happens when you're the world super power.\n Most Americans have health insurance through their employer, a certain amount is taken out of our paycheck every month and if I get sick or have an emergency I pay a small co pay at the doctors office which is 35 dollars and emergency room co pay is 150 the insurance pays the rest.

You cannot defend the argument when someone says Women are suppressed in mulsim culture. The most hurtful thing happening is in UK. A country which gave you food, shelter, respect, a better life. You are trying to impose your values on it? As a matter of fact, good muslims should come out openly and boycott these terrorist who are trying to create chaos if they really want to show good intentions but you wont see any (for obvious reasons). They often cry about they being a victim but what about other people?? If all good muslim come out and boycott bad muslims then that would be a thing to appreciate and notice. In last you cant clap with one hand! Remember that.

This might be similar, but a little different. I've been language profiled before, just for speaking my mother tongue. I'm bilingual, english is a second language to me but welsh is my first and primary language. Thanks CBC for allowing Asha Tomlinson to work on this video. This is for all Canadians, but most for Black Canadians in Eastern Canada. Cities like Edmonton in particular should be highlighted in this type of videos for their stand on racism. Most cities in Canada are becoming more progressive on racial issues, but Edmonton remains a frightening place for Black people. My message to Blacks in Western Canada is that nothing will change without a challenge. We must stop gossiping about how we are treated and let expose this disease.

The problem is that most people who like immigrants dont understand the concept of assimilation. I have no problem with immigrants who assimilate, but when we have so many illegals who enjoy the benefits of the American constitution, without learning English, who dont learn American History or economics, dont pay taxes and then send whatever money they make out of country. Of Course we should kick these people out. they should never be here in the first place. People not willing to assimilate should never be let into any country.

If you send them back they will spread the message we will not allow them into our borders. If they stop coming the smugglers will not be able to operate, and so they will not be able to come. The reason why people come to Europe is a no brainier. You can starve, and die in Africa, or be paid to live in Europe, the only thing that stands in your way is the risk of death getting there, week politicians and 'human rights' is what have let us down. Black people do not steal more than white people! If the only people you are watching is black and brown people of course that is the only people you will catch. I had a white friend that worked at a Walmart and she said she caught way more white people stealing than blacks but management did not call the police over half the time and let the person go. But for the black people that were caught the police was called every time. I have even seen it myself when the sales person clearly saw the makeup in this white girls pocket, I know she saw it because I silently pointed it out to her and she just walked away. This happens all the time, but white people thinks black and brown people just like to make things up.
