This problems had been around for many years ,2023 the problem have increased double from previous years, the cost of living especially in Vancouver had gone out of hands you will have to make 4.000 dólares a month , obvio you must live with a mate to weather the cost of rent at the going rate of 2.400.00 to rent 1 bedroom 650 sq feet’s for those who think coming to Vancouver be prepare for shock and a deep wallet you gonna needed

This is just terrible! We have homeless people living under bridges, in tents on highways and not to mention our poor veterans. Fix it Jesus?

Canada has no more Canadian dream such an expensive country to live and will get worst over time.everything is so expensive for new immigrant who plans to come here please don’t it will be your worst mistake. Go US or other countries instead. Labor work for the rest of your life with no chance of career improvement.

The main problem in Canada is you keep toiling year after year but you cannot really see you achieve a life where you are secure that you have made it. Cold weather, there are many cold countries like Scandinavian countries etc. but even migrants stay put because one's life improved. Canada just wanted to extract money from foreigners like international students, migrants without or even PRs but the promised benefits are in fact also gotten from them due to the many stiff taxes, & not really from the gov't. My nephews & niece supposedly given education but those are loans that must be paid after graduation. But the problem is there are no jobs even if they graduated with flying colors and nice courses. It was said work is easier if already citizens and studied there but no use. If there are jobs, so many asked like work history, credit background how can they have it when they just graduated so accepted jobs for undergraduates like mopping floors, fastfood crew & entailed years, so how can the payback be with just minimal earnings? Canada just make slaves of migrants with nothing done in their lives but work, work, work no spare time to rest then taxes, taxes, taxes. No savings even if very thrifty. Everything has tax - Exorbitant income taxes, home tax, rent tax, car tax, insurance tax, bank account tax, electricity tax, internet tax, cellphone tax, and many more. Slaves because you only live to sustain the government BUT YOU CANNOT RECEIVE THE PROMPT AND COMPLETE SERVICES promoted. So people got depressed and unhappy especially with the gloomy cold weather. It's not like jobs in other countries or even in one's home country where even if you toiled hard and made sacrifices, you moved forward by assets acquired like lots, houses, big bank account balances but no, in Canada you can't, it must all go to the Govt. It's like Communism.

Cost of houses in Canada is much worst fyi. Calgary is very expensive too, rents are always close to 2k per month. I live in Canada for many years and petroleum engineering has been decreased a lot. With that being said, Australia and Canada are very very similar and, sometimes, they appreciate you more if you come from the other one. I am getting the same experience on the way around and I got 2 offers from Australia living in Canada.

Canada’s healthcare is a travesty and terrible. Mexico’s healthcare and doctors 1000X better than Canada. Canada is ran by a treasonous clown and the people have zero power. Would rather live in Mexico than Canada lol

I'm not sue what most of you are talking about Canada being safe ?? Gang shootings and killings everyday , car jackings. There are homeless camps everywhere. All the rest stops along hwy 1 in BC are full of people living in rv's and trailers, drug use everywhere. Our health care is free because its terrible. Every hospital is badly understaffed, patients have their beds in hallways. If you want anything done quickly you have to pay and get it done privately anyways. Oh cant forget our taxes. Gotta love the made up carbon tax. I pay 52% income tax. Food and gas prices are way higher because of all our tax. And last but not least real estate and rent cost. Average detached house in the greater Vancouver area is almost 1.3 million dollars and the average rent for a 2 bedroom in Vancouver is $3900. I was born and raised here this is not the same country I grew up in and was a proud citizen of. Our country has fallen.

These students shouldn't be here, they cannot afford to study here, the do not have money to pay for living accomodation and tuition fees. They are using student visa to get pr status. They borrowed money to pay first year tuition and expect to work here and pay their tuition, support their family. They are not students but economic migrants.

Imagine a Canadian (gora) parents whose children had immigrated to India and living and working in Delhi. They are in India to see their children. Now podcast their interview about their life in India and if they would like to spend rest of the life with their children in India.

The vast (I do mean vast) majority of Nigerians live in absolute poverty and in virtual war zones. The medical treatment and facility is much better now in India. You can go to any specialist on one or two days prior appointment. While it takes weeks or some times 3 to 4 months to get to see a specialist in western country. And majority of doctors in western countries are Indians. Over all today's India quality of life and ease of living is much better than earlier years when people use to migrate to Canada ,UK or USA.

I immigrated to canada 1999 and canada have changed alot . Work opportunity are no near as good. Health care is awful. If you are struggling with mental health or any other medical problem good luck waiting for a veryyyy long time. The housing prices and rentals are extremely expensive. Taxes are high and prices are high as well. Social life is dead. U are a slave to ur job and bills. I live in alberta finding a job is a little easier then Ontario. Winter is very harsh. Honestly if ur living comfortably outside canada? Avoid coming to canada by all means. Life is verry hard here ?.

I’m born & raised in Montreal, Quebec and while it’s extremely multicultural and has an incredible education system, we have been experiencing a continuous housing crisis. Every year the rent prices and general cost of living are skyrocketing yet wages remain the same. It’s actually becoming a huge problem in Montreal. Young people are being pushed out as prices are starting to little by little be comparable to Toronto. \nAnd don’t get me started on the hate Anglophones receive here. Even Montreal natives like myself who are historically English get discriminated against every day. \nThe Quebec government is pushing the English language out of Quebec, making it harder and harder for Anglophones to be able to function and live practically here. You can’t even go to the hospital and get service. If you don’t speak French you can’t call and speak with any government services, and even businesses are forced to have French names, and only conduct their business in the French language. \nI myself am bilingual, but for someone who doesn’t speak the language, or is learning having trouble it’s nearly impossible to live in Quebec as they wouldn’t even be able to get a job. The discrimination Anglophones receive is insane and we are seen as a ‘bottom of the barrel’ minority, which is so sad seeing that this is where I was born and raised and where I call my home. \nThey’re taking away more and more public & social services and literally funnelling multi millions of dollars of funding , which is desperately needed for homelessness and many other social problems we have within Montreal and it’s all now going towards pushing the French language in Montreal (we literally have what’s called the ‘language police’ who’s job is to enforce French. They will give businesses thousands of dollars of tickets and even shut them down all because someone is caught speaking English) \nHopefully something will change soon or else Montreal is going to continue to become a place completely taken over by hate and discrimination and it will experience a MASS exodus (which is already starting).

All is well and good said in this video, but living in country like india also brings pain like 1984 SIKH riots where people lost lives of thier loved ones, if you are ready to deal with shit like that in the future then yes you can live better life in India

I would have the same advice for anyone thinking about immigrating to America at this time. If you are somewhat stable where you are, stay there. The cost of living here is rising dramatically, and the crime rates seem to be as well. It's work, work, work, and at the end of the day there's no money remaining.

Research the country you’re moving to…what jobs are in demand, how that aligns with your qualifications…if you need to recertify or retrain in a different field. Many people move here thinking “oh I was a bank manager in Nigeria, so I’ll move here and become a bank manager”. It doesn’t work that way. The streets of Canada are littered with qualified medical doctors who drive Uber because they didn’t understand how difficult it would be to be certified to practice here.\n\n2. Find role models who are living the life you aspire to, or who have made similar moves and seek advice or guidance, and learn what they did right/wrong. Don’t just assume because your friend moved here, you can also move here and live the same life. You don’t share the same life experiences, history or have the same network.\n\n3. India is in a much better situation in this recession.. even better than the US and Canada. I have a good job here.. Enjoy my weekends with great food from swiggy zomato and beer?. You get better salary packages in India. Cities like Pune, Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Ahmedabad, Navi Mumbai are great to live in and earn. I work from home...nice work life balance, enjoy my vacations in Goa... Go for a vacation every 4 months. Thoughts came in to shift to Canada... but decided not to go. Why struggle so much abroad. Sad..the ones who do make it in commit crime in the US n blame the blk man.. All I can say...Live and let live. You will never be able to stop people moving around even if you tell them your own life experience. We always think we'll do thing differently. I myself been moving around and living in different Western countries, and despite the difficulties, I don't regret anything. There is no such thing like a perfect country and even if it's your country of birth....Just try to be satisfied with what you have....But now it's true the golden age of immigration to western countries is gone.
