This is kinda stupid now.. why wouldn’t they go through the same process like everyone else? This is madness! Those people are so hardworking but why won’t they use the same energy to work on entry the legal way? On a side Note, the Chinese immigrants are probably amongst these chaos and they are still bad mouthing the US.

I can't stand this place and especially people! It's sooo dreadful, if I spoke truthfully the comment would get auto deleted. So since it turned out to be the polar opposite of the propaganda and how Canadians talk about themselves to the world (and the type of immigrants who fled poverty and had absolutely nothing back home and for whom Canada is actually an upgrade of sorts), I'll just use Canada as a stepping stone to get back to the US where I studied and got all my degrees and the place was infinitely better than Canada in almost every area. And there people are actually normal, like they'll talk to you, invite you to their home or to go out, make sure you aren't alone for Thanksgiving, etc. In Canada there's none of that, you're on your own! To me living in Canada is a nightmare!

Is there any Indian with the courage to bring a camera phone to the US embassy? For instance, in the stages of the H1B or F1 Visa process (USCIS, Visa interview, and Port of entry at a US airport), your application might be rejected without any explanation, leaving you with no opportunity to inquire with the US immigration department. However, when dealing with our Indian Embassy or Immigration, individuals have the right to question and demand reasons. what a pathetic person you are?

Of course it is... When you allow people to come in that are not vetted, you end up with many social, criminal, contribution related issues, and fundamental society value consequences.\n\nHere is the reality... Every other government in Canada set the agenda for immigration, it helped us and it helped them... I absolutely loved it, I think part of the problem is everyone wants to go to YYZ or YVR, but I found the outer suburbs of Montreal, and rural quebec to be even just a little lower than an average US city. Food I guess depends where you go. The situation in the US is only a little better.....Hopefully things get better quickly.....

There are just too many immigrants being let in. I’m shocked at the amount of international students at my college. I feel like its almost 90% are international students trying to get PR and some of them can barely write properly. The quality of work being put out by the students makes me question the integrity of schools. So many of them don’t care about what they’re studying and put minimal effort. All they want is PR. They are not willing to adopt Canadian values and I see people pushing and shoving to get on public transport instead of being civilized. I think immigrants from 30 years ago were a different group. Most were refugees and wanted a better life and were willing to adapt to Canadian culture and adopt new values. But nowadays, the mass of immigrants coming in are very different. Many of them are wealthy and are here not to make a better life for themselves and contribute to Canada. They are here to get PR in order to get Canadian benefits as its much better than their own countries. Some want to be able to move to the US later on. They’re taking advantage of the system and it’s f*cking the country.

I'm over 60, on a limited income. There is no way I would survive in the US. And at least here, you're not likely to go bankrupt because of high medical costs.

I live in the US and it is a great place for business but if you are black, you have harder obstacles to overcome. You can find articles about black business owners have a harder chance of getting investments and business loans compared to other races. There are many successful black entrepreneurs but for them to even see the success, they had to go through a lot of hardship and this is part of the reason why blacks prefer to move to Europe.

The USA is good if you’re willing to overwork to make money… you will basically work work work and that’s not a good life. I recommend USA if you are young and want to flex in the future. I work every day in America and I’m not missing anything but I feel like a slave honestly. Canada is good for foreigners that are trying to get PR and a Citizenship from a western country quick because Canada needs a lot of immigrants due to its size. In Europe the income is very low on average compared to the US but the reason is cause there’s just so much overtime available in the USA and things are more 24/7. Europe is better to start a family and safety security…. But you will be giving up working super hard in the USA to make good amount of money…. Pick your poison. I recommend going to Canada to acquiere a Citizenship quick then go to USA and work like a slave with a lot of overtime for 10-15 years and before your 40-55 years old you move to Europe…

Don't deceive Africans to move to Canada Infact they should acquire some funds to start a business or study to go back to Africa and move back to Africa entirely. I'm from Asia and recently moved to Canada with my family to live a slower-paced and safer life. I've seen firsthand that the drug problem here is worse than it was back home, and they're being coddled with no plans to discipline or rehabilitate them. I asked my friends how I could defend myself and my family if a random drug addict broke into our house and stole our belongings; could I at least beat that person up until the police arrived? They said you couldn't because you'd be charged with assault. It's funny. \n\nApart from the crimes and exorbitant living costs despite living in a rural area, even Canadians who have lived in the country since birth are struggling to make ends meet. \n\nSome positive comments, Canada provided me with a work-life balance that was not possible in Asia due to the competitive nature of the corporate world. So I had time to spend with my family, and you don't have to travel abroad to see beautiful scenery. Canadians are also very accommodating and friendly, in contrast to where I came from, where people will not help unless it benefits them as well. The Canadians here are extremely friendly. So Canada is great because of its people, but I can tell you that the government consistently makes bad decisions about how to solve certain problems, such as drugs and harm reduction strategies. Another issue is that they do not recognize internationally trained professionals, which could have helped alleviate healthcare issues in our area, where we have many internationally trained nurses from the Philippines working as restaurant servers and janitors. We have doctors from Kenya who have to work as general laborers and in other odd jobs where they can use their profession and experience to help people. I am also an immigrant, but the government should strategically distribute us based on our qualifications. I chose a rural area because I don't want to add to the number of immigrants in big cities and instead want to contribute to the local economy by bringing my skills and experience to the pool. \n\nCanada is a wonderful country, and I continue to believe so, but the government must reward and do more for its people who are trying their best to make this country great.

I left at age 23 to the US cause I felt I had no decent opportunities in my field (pharmaceutical R&D) in Montreal. I know so many other Canadians who did the same. Sad cause I wanted to stay but it didn't make any sense to me.

In america we like to shut out the people that are proven skilled and competent for mass migration of low skill, low educated, low/no English language understanding, with no clear understanding of where they are from and why they are hear. And by literally the 100,000s from the sourth borders from month to month. Where they can live here without documents and be part of our permanent surf class. I guess someone has to pick the crops, frame the houses, and clean the toilets.
