But do people not understand that Palestinians don’t want to leave their homeland? If they do they know that they’re never being able to go back. Israel should stop occupying their land, displacing them and murdering them out. And the people need to stop blaming Hamas because we all know who the real villain is. A group of orphans that fight for their rights are not terrorists. Applyign that logic makes Mandela a terrorist, the Jews of the ghettos in Warsaw is WWII terrorist and that just simply not right..

I'm always sceptical with Saudis, but this time, not only I'm proud of them, but I began to understand them properly & correctly.

Immigrants have got to understand they had to sacrifice something in exchange for something. They can't have the best of both worlds.
2023-12-12 0
Don’t they understand this very question is a call for ethnic cleansing?

Prices went up after covid EVERYWHERE. It's a global issue. I understand the lack of affordability as a reason for leaving because I live in California and I can't afford a house. I'm retiring without one so I have nothing to sell to downsize. Since I refuse to live in areas of the US that I can afford due to those states authoritarian governments and support of authoritarian regime I'm planning on leaving ASAP. Things are changing all over the world, however, and my that's affecting my plans.

Best explanation this. Why people don't understand Palestine is Palestinians land.

Americans understand that Canada has a SANE healthcare system, as opposed to the United States system, which is strictly profit-driven. Those who live in Canada and the UK should count their blessings. I'm sure it is more expensive there but it may be worth it.

Immigrants needs to understand, not all is well over here.

I immigrated to Canada in 2010, and here are my experiences inside and outside Canada. I am grateful for a good education; having a Canadian passport opened up many opportunities in other countries to build a higher-level career. However, if I had known the amount of stress, health, and financial damage that I had to endure, I wouldn't have chosen to come to Canada. I would have remained in the US or EU countries where I could achieve even more without suffering to the level I did here. \n\nMisleading immigration promotion: The government-sponsored Canadian immigration program oversells what Canada can offer. It withholds information on the cost of living, chicken-and-egg problems like Canadian work experience is required to get a job at the same level as you are in, Canadian credit history is required to rent a proper apartment, Canadian education is required to secure a high-level job, etc. \n\nHiring process: I knew the Canadian system was not ideal for immigrants over a decade ago, but it got so bad now that even the born citizens are unable to survive. The Canadian government and employers lack a basic understanding that ambitious, high-achieving people immigrate to other countries for high-level positions using proper channels. It's ridiculous to see that Canada uses a point-based system to choose highly qualified personnel to enter their country yet expects them to pursue low-paying entry-level or labor jobs just because they have brown/black skin. At first, I thought having a Canadian degree and experience might help me get high-level jobs, and I didn't think how I spoke or looked would matter when I had high credentials to show off. So, I got my masters & Ph.D. from the Univesity of Toronto, which consistently ranks #1 in Canada. I have a bachelor's from a prestigious university in Asia and had a high-competitive, well-paid federal government job in another country. Still, none of that was recognized in Canada, and I had to volunteer for over 6 months, 10 to 12 hours/day, in a research lab that led to a funded PhD program. I worked even harder during my Ph.D. with many accomplishments, like 40+ research and leadership awards, internationally recognized scientific discoveries, and innovative technologies. I checked all the above and beyond in various domains (research, teaching, leadership, business, engineering consulting, collaborations, etc.). Yet, employers couldn't see past my race, gender, age, etc., and refused to give me the opportunity at the level of my qualifications. Luckily, I managed to secure short-term work in the UK & the US, and it changed even how I see myself. I was highly respected for my credentials, given higher positions than I applied for, and paid 3-4 times more salary and benefits. Of course, bias is an integral part of every society, but my race, gender, age, etc., were not as big of an issue to begin my career at the mid-career stage in these countries as opposed to Canada. \n\nHealthcare: Access to healthcare was another big challenge for me. When I moved to Canada in 2010, due to extremely low temperatures, I developed hives all over my body, my eyes got red, and I coughed for many months. The doctor said there was nothing wrong with me and refused to give me any medication. It took us years to get a family doctor, and we got one through my personal network. In 2015/2016, I developed an autoimmune disease, and my eyeballs popped out. As of today, I did not get to see an eye specialist as they have only 1 specialist in the area, and the waiting time is for years for the first consultation. Every time the family doctor told me that I had iron deficiency, even when I insisted that they should run additional tests and they cleared, they were flagged. The doctor never diagnosed my autoimmune condition. Luckily, during my short-term work in the UK, I saw competent interns who completed my care. NHS is poorer than the medical system in Canada... they are understaffed, don't have hospital beds after surgery, or don't have stock of paper gowns, yet the staff are highly competent and caring. Within 1-2 years, they did complete diagnosis by sending me to various specialists, completed eye surgery, and even found a lifelong condition that was preventing me from realizing my full potential. Following, in the US, the doctors confirmed the diagnosis of all the conditions within 1-2 months and put me on two small pills for life. It has dramatically changed my life, and I have even more admiration for the medical profession. While in Canada, I suffered for over a decade, and every time, I was treated as a hypochondriac and never given a single prescription. \n\nQuality of life: Big cities like Toronto are mainly affected by high crime rates, overpopulation, cost of living, low employment, low salaries, etc. A few months back, there was a huge auto theft, and one of my contacts lost their Lexus car within minutes of parking. Despite being a scientist, I have no faith in politicians or individuals fixing these problems. The salaries are not increasing, but the taxes and cost of living are on the exponential growth curve. The ridiculous part is that Canada expects you to pay taxes even when you are not employed or living in Canada! I lived in London and Boston, and they offer a much higher quality of life and pay. \n\nGrowth potential: No wonder Canada, being a G7 country, falls at the bottom of the list in innovation, equal opportunities, economic growth, etc. It has a decent education system but, due to its inherent bias in the hiring process and monopoly of certain businesses, loses talented immigrants and highly qualified Canadians to the US, the UK, and EU markets. Unless there is a dramatic shift in policies, Canadians, especially new immigrants, cannot expect any positive experience in Canada except for being discriminated against and losing valuable time and money by being there.

See the paid journalist try to plant a hasbara talking point in the minds of the world. This what they do. One sided on behalf of the criminal state. Americans are too dense else they’ll understand the Palestinians are just like them. Occupied by a foreign entity that didn’t originate from within. The similarities are uncanny. Palestinians are denied free speech . So are Americans. They are denied basic necessities. So are Americans . They are locked in an open air prison so are Americans . And they are policed by a brutal military regime. So are Americans. \nIncidentally Palestinian fate is linked to American fate. If Israel is defeated , the lobby dies and Americans like the Palestinians will be free . Something one hope Americans will realize soon.

While I understand the sentiment of my land my home why should I leave I would save myself and my family to take refuge in save places away from danger right now and after the war is done I would comeback to my land we need to be sure we have a home to comeback but we also need to be alive to be on that land ?

From reading the comments doesn't seem like people understand that SA is allied with the US and Israel. Minister says they're not going to work with people whose agenda is removing Palestinians from their land but they are in fact doing just that. SA could easily put pressure on the States but has chosen not to. Actions speak louder than words.

The real Jewish ppl who live in Palestine says its Palestinians land and we understand that and live peacefully. They dislike the IDF the police for the way they get treated for supporting the Palestinians.

I never understand y arabs keep being asked to take palestinians.y should they?they did not create israel and push palestinians out.those who created this mess have a reponsibity to clean it.This is beside the fact that arabs need to grow a backbone and stand with the palestinians in demand for their freedom.

When they speak Arabic, u sometimes think they don't understand English but his response moved me. His government has the right people in right positions. I loved that response. Why would Palestinians live their land????
2023-12-12 0
You're spot on with your points. I would like to add one more consideration, focusing on the state of elementary and high school education. \nWhile I acknowledge that teaching is a high-paying profession, it's disheartening to see that teachers, along with nurses, are frequently involved in protests. \nI understand that nurses are often overloaded with their work, but the practice of leaving students unattended to participate in protests can pose challenges for the education system. \nIt's concerning that, in the last three years, my kids' teachers haven't been able to complete their subject curricula even once.

Its like saying some black people are struggling with racism and discrimination in white neighborhoods why don’t other black neighborhoods take them in???????????? Some people don’t have the mental capacity to understand wtf is happening
2023-12-12 0
This is what some people don’t understand.. the Palestinians know that if they were to move to the nearby Arab countries, they will lose Palestine forever, they don’t want to make the same mistake as their ancestors in 1948
2023-12-12 2
I'm Canadian and cannot understand why ANYONE would EVER want to move to the US. Where you can be shot at anytime, where social injustice reins and racism rules. Where the country is heading for fascism. Give me peaceful, polite beautiful, free Canada (did I mention safe?) any day and I will happily pay more for groceries, YES there are some things that need changing, but that requires voters who actually want improvements.
2023-12-12 0
Its very true why should they leave the land..and now i understand..tour teying too shame the arabs but the shame is on western governments and Israel Alone!
2023-12-12 0
This why I don't understand why people say Saudi is on Israels side in any shape or form.

Plain and simple, you don't need to be scientist to understand this concept.

These journalists! They act as if they are so naive, they cannot understand anything, everything began at 7th october just like big bang, there was nothing before. Out of the blue these devils attacked the land of angels!

Just imagine if the Arab leaders said these exact words before 1948 war when they attacked modern Israel on or next day of its formation and told Arab residents to leave as there will be violence and bloodshed. After losing all the wars now they understand violence is not the solution but peaceful resolution and humanitarian aid and separate Palestine state alongside Israel peaceful coexistence but Hamas aims only to destroy full Israel and Jews which is the meaning of Free Palestine from River to Sea that's gone viral even among young westerners ignorant of history. Will any of these Arab leaders actually advocate Hamas and its River to Sea slogan? Everyone knows the answer
2023-12-12 0
Excellent response- a stupid question by someone who has no understanding. Alf Dubs rode this agenda in an interview some weeks back- a total lack of understanding. His ignorance infuriated me!
2023-12-12 0
The point is that the Arab world will not fight for Palestine. They don’t want to, they don’t want to take them as refugees either. Even if Palestinians don’t want to leave the land the Arabs can still come and fight Israel if they actually wanted. But no. Understand this Palestinians. The Arabs are not your friends. They are letting you guys die and that is worst than any war. To have so called “allies” and yet have none in times of need. ?

Thats what these West ppl dont understand
2023-12-12 0
The reporter is either pushing for the agenda of ethnic cleansing or doesn’t understand what belonging to your land means.\nThe 70% of the Palestinians in Gaza don’t want to stay in Gaza they want to exercise their basic human right to Return to their own houses and land that was stolen by the Zionists. They look through the concentration camp fence and they see their own village turned into a Kibbutz. This denying of return is a crime against humanity
2023-12-12 0
Yup hope they understand . . . But they won't understand . . . Just cut ties with them and they will know what we are talking about
2023-12-12 0

I am talking to my friends and family back home and they all say, you are in better condition than us, at least you are earning with dollars. Lol what? I spent with dollars too. It’s not like I earn with dollars and go back and spent with 1:20 ratio. And you are spending 2000$ flight ticket to get there which used to get it for 800$ with promotion. They are like everything is 10x more expensive. Everything is 2x more expensive but when you have high quality lifestyle the feels like is actually a lot more. Mortgage rates went up 5 times more compared to the one in covid times. That impacts who has variable mortgage or the one has fixed concerned about their renewal. That impacts on rentals because most of the owners are paying their mortgages thru these rents. You did a Good comparison on salary vs rent that will help people understand.

On one hand, this was sad to see as a canadian, but it helped me better understand what’s going on and maybe what we can really focus on.

15:00 Totally understand now. Canada is a country for immigrants of poor countries that think Canada is so much better than where they are from, but for ppl who already lived in Canada for the past few decades, then Canada has been declining, and there's no point living here compared to so many better countries to live in.

They look like they want to live in the United States to have a better life in a free country to be happy Trump does not want them to be happy and have a better life you do not understand that people want to be happy that life is bad were they come from
2023-12-08 0
Very good points. Certainly feels just like you described. What I dont understand is WHY not more people talk about this?\nAwareness can lead to pressure that can lead to change. Seems like in Canada nobody wants to talk about the probolems in the country, people are reluctant.. and I dont understand why? Anyone has any idea?

If you only knew the half of it.I live 4hrs from this in in Midland TX.The people that support this have not or would not ever support this again after witnessing an invasion that will slowly devour, our Nation ,our jobs, our Healthcare ,our safety ,our sanity. Please understand that I am for someone trying to be a better person for their families and make an honest Anerican Tax payer.BUTT it has been proven that the majority of the people coming to my Country are not looking for that at all.If they would do it legally to me that would tell me they are serious about being a Citizen. I can't even talk about this anymore because It pisses ne off so much.

I don't understand. Why don't they fight back the corruption. all the men do is run. we had civil wars here. The Palestinians are fighting. South Africa was fighting, The ukrainians fighting.

Canada doesn't owe anyone economic migrant immigration approval that's for sure. I understand the economic migrant immigrants perspective however.

Life is tough here in Canada. Economy is stagnant, things aren't working, crime rate is up, healthcare is in decline, politics is abysmal. I can understand and don't blame Canadians who want to leave. But I have hope that things will change for the better.
