Anyone has taken one or two steps back to look at the big picture and noticed similar economic turns in most Western countries combined with increasing taxes and laws making renting out flats and houses if you are an owner very difficult? Are we looking at the WEF grand work here? Will private property be first challenged as a moral right then debated in parliaments and senates around the world then scrapped and the by then unemployed population moved to 'centers' or 'concentrated living units'?

Anybody can talk without action. The fact is Arab Saudi, Egypt , Jordan should put their army in Gaza to protect Palestinians. That's what the Arab world is afraid of. And we, as in Muslims must look for ways to pressure our govts to help Falasteen. We must help them financially too. May Allah make us stronger in our faith in Him, provide us with opportunities, strength and courage so that we can all unite together properly to pressurize our govts to make use of our military resources for the reason Allah blessed us with them. It is impossible for a bunch of people to enter Israeli border from 17 different location s which is guarded 24/7. Thousands of Palestinian people are being captured as hostages by Israeli Army the true terrorist of this era the real NaziIf this statement is true that hamas is the reason israel is killing humans in palistine, then why is the Israeli terrorist army present in the West Bank and why are they forcefully evicting people from their homes? It is extremely unfair that being born Muslim is considered a curse in today's world. What Israel has been doing for the past 70 years is unacceptable. If a similar situation occurred with the United States or any Western country, would they receive financial and military assistance? This can be viewed as genocide. This sounds just like my country, Australia. I'm lucky that I bought a small unit a decade ago, even if it isn't great. Our house has more than doubled in price - but I would be happy for it to depreciate if all properties did fairly equally. Housing is a right, not an investment.

As an Indigenous person (Anishinaabe), it's been a real mixed bag. It's been great that we generally have more visibility in media, and the federal government has listened to more of our requests than in years past, and healthcare costs and education gets covered quite a bit. That being said, a lot of Indigenous folks are poor and will very likely stay that way. If middle-class people are facing financial struggle, then it's even worse for us.\n\nIMO, as things get tight, what'll begin happening is what happens on reserves -- families will cram themselves into houses. Adult children living with their parents, young couples living with parents, and single adults having 2+ roommates well into their 30s, 2 people per bedroom.\n\nPlease though, advocate for more housing to your local government. Don't be a f'kin NIMBY. We need homes, multi-unit and single, rentals and ones to own.

Advocacy of multi-culture have destroyed the cohesiveness of neighborhood cos different races and various nationalities use their own languages to communicate instead of using the national languages in English/French. The society is simply disintegrated now! Unlike USA where they don't practice multiculturalism and are united in English only.

I see a lot of people in the comments romanticizing the United States. We have about 250,000-300,000 homeless unvetted folks from all around the world sneaking through the U.S. southern border each month. Fact: a couple of hundred people on the terrorist watch list have been caught at the border (and reasonably for every one caught and apprehended, a few more haven't been caught and are setting up sleeper cells as we speak). All the while, we are facing a dire housing shortage, and an explosion of homelessness and lawlessness is hitting every major U.S. city. It's about to get very crowded and even more violent here. Come for the opportunities legally, but always watch your back and be prepared to defend yourself, your home, and your family. A peaceful, quiet cold life in Canada may not be that bad in comparison. It doesn't take long for a lawless country to fall from grace no matter how prosperous it seems. Look at what happened to Venezuela within a single decade.
