How about all the Mexicans coming in on tourist visas and making cash and not paying Taxes. They even get bank accounts lol. Basically for all your grandparents and parents who came to Canada legally and did all the paperwork and everything else, basically just slapped them across the face.

At what point do us citizens to start protecting our country, it's obvious the government doesn't care. This is beyond ridiculous. We don't want you illegals here! There is a legal way to do it if you want to be part of our country.

Comments from a Canadian. Homeless people are generally concentrated in the larger cities but in the past few years it has become a real problem. It is a real problem for the people when the temperature drops to -30C. Mental wellness is a huge issue. The racism issue is mainly against the indigenous. The doctor migration to the US is a money thing, not better conditions. Getting a family doctor is easy in some places and difficult in others, generally in rural communities. Getting a reference to a specialist is not an issue and I believe this may be a doctor specific issue. If your GP does not refer you, ER will take care of you. The issue with referrals is the triage system that may result in a longer wait to see the specialist. This is in contrast to the US where one can see a specialist very quickly, if one has insurance. In Canada, every citizen and legal resident has the ability to receive medical care as covered by the provincial medical systems which differs from province to province. Many doctors are now offering online communication with your GP and specialist. Your finance comments are inaccurate. There are 5 nation wide banks but there are also nation wide credit unions and provincial banks which in my opinion these tend to offer better service than the big 5 (exclude National Bank, which is big bank but more investment focused). Cell carrier monopolies is a real issue. Cell carriers are recently offering unlimited data, no long distance to the US, etc. Other countries have a definite advantage here. The government has enabled conditions for a new carrier a few times but eventually, these smaller carriers get swallowed up by the big national carriers. More recently Rogers bought out Shaw which limits our choices further. Sales tax is not always 10-15%. In Alberta the sales tax is 5%. Passing courses and evaluations ensures there are standards which is a good thing. Would you want a Civil Engineer designing a road or bridge that is not suitable for the climate? How about a doctor with questionable credentials? Agree with your recommendations for hiring. It is expensive to hire and train a new employee but can be much more expensive to fire an employee. Agree with the housing crisis comments and the reasons. Getting an absent owner to fix a property? This is crazy inaccurate. Multi-dwelling properties have property managers paid to look after the properties regardless of who owns it. While on the average, foreign investment may not seem to contribute to property prices, this is not the case when looking a the local sectors of the big two - Toronto and Vancouver. There was a case in Vancouver where a property with a shack sold for over $1MM. This is not because the house price was unrealistic, but because of the property location and perceived property value. This is a direct result of foreign investment in houses in the Vancouver area resulting in a lack of properties. Many of these foreign owned single family investment properties remain empty most of the year. Another big issue in many Canadian municipalities is the lack of building code enforcement. The laws are in place but not always enforced.

Running across a border and yelling “ I’m here yo “ is not the legal process of immigration. Sorry if democrats lead y’all to believe that.

I have a massive respect for all the people who came over and did it legally, the right way, and waited years and years and years to finally get citizenship. This ain’t it! ??♂️

Please use teargas or pepper spray, or any means necessary. This is an agree just attempt of flooding our borders with people that don’t care about the legal process. #StrongerBorders.

You've missed the elephant in the room. Due to the open US/Mexico border and flooding of illegal migrants, the illegal migrants hurt those who've gone through the system legally and have essentially cut in line. If you flood the economy with migrants (both legal and illegal), most who are considered low skill, due to the aforementioned border crisis, it'll drive the wages of Americans down to unlivable levels and cause those who are in the immigration system to continuously be in the perpetual waiting system. By failure to mention this big topic issue, you have done a disservice to this video and have missed key points, rendering this video as incomplete and false. I hope you read this and want to have conversation, thank you.

Keep them out. Join us legally.

The foreigners want to blame America for not letting them in. How about blaming your country for such difficult situations that you feel the need to leave your country? And for everyone (legal or undocumented) who thinks we should open our borders to everyone immediately, you should sign up to house and feed these people. And don’t ask if they committed any crimes because you don’t feel they are important. And for all the people who come here with no invite but the others have to wait in line, you should be required to do community work for free to pay back the kindness and not be given any assistance or tax credit at the end of the year. But you should be allowed healthcare access like everyone else. The first child can be American but none after that.

I am Venezuela legally here in America. I get the desesperation of my people but this is ridiculously stupid and entitled. What do they think? That they will enter by force? That they will intimidate the Government? I don't get it
|

This is job security for democrats as long as they can keep it legal for people to vote without providing proof of citizenship

To come to United States must be done legally if not they will be going back where they come from ??

I think anyone that wants to switch countries should fight for it. Draft their asses into the military. Those poor kids, though. ? There was a Haitian family, on the First 48, came to Florida and all of them were found dead of starvation in their apartment. There was nothing that they could obtain, legally, because of their illegal entrance here. How do they expect to eat if they're by taking from us by force?

Bidens regime has crippled our nation. Instead of spending the many billions on feeding and housing invaders we could have increased the people interviewing migrants for legal entry.
|

This is not going to happen if the president is a Republican. I hope all Americans wake up so that our tax dollars are used properly by the legal residents.

If anyone needs refugee claim, it is the Canadian truckers whos roghts werw forcefully taken away by Trudeau government, while they were perfectly peacefully protesting within legal provisions. They would nneed refuge in a more free country oike India where democracy freedom works.much better.

Instead of housing here let’s send the residents guns, have them fight the cartels and make drugs legal so no market ?
|

As a first generation Mexican American of parents who went the legal route, I disapprove of this and I hate it ?. Not all of us entered illegally and it's very embarrassing seeing this. I've served my country and am forever grateful of the LEGAL opportunity my parents took.

This video is misleading. It is based only on legal immigration data, which is just a drop in a bucket of total immigration. Canada doesn't even come close to the number of immigrants it accepts. Not even mentioning this fact is disingenuous.
|
| 2023-08-14 | 0 |
If you can’t get into this country legally, you don’t belong here period.
|
| 2023-08-14 | 0 |
10 months ago the policy changed so what all’ of a sudden in mid-August they attempt to charge thru a LEGAL border crossing? Another fact is Venezuela is a TPS country which means no more than a designated number of asylum seekers can be admitted into the US. So b4 you go believing what you’re seeing and hearing. Look it up Google US.gov site on immigration. Just saying
|
| 2023-08-13 | 0 |
Yep, those look like legal asylees.?
|
| 2023-08-11 | 0 |
Go do it legally! This is so unfair to people who have come to Canada legally! I condone this!
|
| 2023-08-10 | 0 |
Is the solution really that difficult? Close the border except for legal immigrants. Biden’s “solution” is open borders, amnesty, acceleration to citizenship. In other words - perpetual chaos.
|
| 2023-08-10 | 0 |
US is complicated to do it legally.. but you can always just walk across the border and claim asylum ?
|
| 2023-08-10 | 2 |
They are humans y’all. Humans running towards a better life, many with children in tow. I don’t think I will ever comprehend the indifference and contempt humans so often have for each other. \n\nPS in order to seek asylum all you have to do is get there, it would make ZERO sense to say you could only go through a ‘legal port’ of entry bc the asylum seekers are often feeling their own country and need to seek asylum anonymously until they’ve reached their intended destination. \n\nPlus something about bring us your weak, your tired, huddled masses yearning to break free….\n\nHuman beings, floating on the same rock we are.

As tough as it is they have to come to the country legally.. It's not fair to the immigrants that came to this country legally... Illegal immigration should not be rewarded

Are mexicans going to finally admit their country is failing? Look at this. Pitiful, we can’t even feed our own people AND there is a HUGE crisis with cartels stealing farmland right now! This is outrageous, I’m sorry. We are the most shit on country in the world yet everyone feels they can use us when they realize they’re in the shitter and our country IS a great nation (at least greater then the shit shows they’re trying to flee from). Sorry people are suffering, we are suffering to, find a way to come here by a means that is legal and we will welcome you with open arms

???? Fucking do it Legally! I know this whole world is all just imaginary lines but there's got to be population spread for the environment and ecosystem. You can't pile a HUGE MASS people up into certain areas of any country and expect the environment not to change.Places like California and New York along with Chicago those are perfect examples of way way too many people bundled up in 1 tiny area compared to the mass amount of lans in every state alone. Other countries same way bunches up north spread of people. That's why we have things like roads and planes ??♂️

I'm gonna propose something not so crazy because Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the US all do different parts of these already - that any country that's majority English speaking/common law based legal system can opt in to standardize credentials for high school, university, and trade schools. Each country publishes an annual skills shortage list and any citizen of those countries with the right credentials can apply for a work permit (so you can be properly vetted) that becomes valid with a job offer. The US & Canada already do this for select occupations through NAFTA and Aussies can already effectively move to the US under the E-3 visa program. I'm American but went to university in Australia. It's really silly that we don't already do this. I also live in Florida now and work with people from Trinidad, Jamaica, Bahamas, etc. and it's such an unnecessarily burdensome process to hire a professional who you know already has the credentials and work experience.

Yeah it's much easier to immigrate illegally then legally lol
|
| 2023-08-08 | 0 |
The arbitrary aspect of the immigration system is the most depressing aspect of living here in the US. I guess when the system was implemented it may have had some use (such as being impartial to everyone by employing a lottery system) but these systems are pretty outdated at this point and only a leverage for political parties to throw gang signs at each other talking about how bad immigration is. I also don’t think anyone wants to solve immigration problems really, I mean even some of the nicest local people I know throw their hands up like “I don’t know” and I think it’s because immigration suffers from the same thing that many other problems suffer from and that is a lack of focus. Illegal immigration takes up so much time and space that fixing legal immigration seems like a daunting challenge and not at all worth trying. If I were a betting person I would never hedge my bets on immigration, I just need to have the time to digest and understand a lot of knowledge about how immigration helps me and my country. It’s honestly up to the Government imo to give it the proper fix it deserves but, again, why bother if it doesn’t help?

For all the liberal POC'S in this comment section who's family came here legally...this is a direct massive slap in their faces. Maybe you should rethink ur support of this migration movement

KEEP THEM THERE!!!!!...Bad enough what they did to New York City, and we tried to feed them while they just spit in our face,we don't need them here!!!...enough problems for us in this country and we're legal citizens.
|
| 2023-08-08 | 0 |
All you have to do is join the army (almost any job not just combat ones) for a 2 year contract and you get citizenship and they can give you help financially for your family back home and you can help your family naturalise quicker too. Plenty of correct legal ways to do it if you really want to
|
| 2023-08-07 | 0 |
We are NOT the next country. International law requires you seek asylum at the next country after yours, not a country 10 countries away where you can get the most resources while doing nothing for them. None of these people are legal asylees. They all passed through the next country to make their way here and overwhelm the U.S. Only Canadians and Mexicans are legal asylees.
|
| 2023-08-07 | 0 |
This is an invasion. You don't just push your way into a country. Anyone entering illegally needs to be immediately deported and never granted citizenship in the future. They show a blatant disrespect for our country and our laws. If they can't respect our laws before they're even here, what's makes anyone think they'll respect them once they're in? To those who say these aren't criminals, I say by entering illegally they made their very first action on US soil breaking the law and committing a crime. Criminals trying to push their way into America en masse, with no jobs and no place to stay, both of which are legal immigration requirements in every country in the world one may wish to immigrate to.

I have no problem with people coming here legally, but if you come here illegally you should be stopped by any means necessary -

In USA its tougher for highly skilled and educated legal immigration to come and get a ctizenship than unemployable violent uneducated illegal immigrants ! ?♂️?♂️
