I live in Mississauga and have travelled around the GTA and I haven’t really noticed any hate crimes against muslims. As a Muslim myself, Canadians these days are far more tolerant towards muslims or any other cultures than they were back in the day. I see hundreds of hijabi ladies every day and none of them get harassed or bullied for wearing a hijab.

I appreciate the way you present the reality. One way to cope with salaries and taxes is to open you own enterprise. This is the canadian way of growing fron a wealth point of view. As a person leaving from a salary, it is still possible to grow depending on your skills. But beggining your own business to exploit your skills will make you 'fly' to the next level, which is the actual way of growing. It took me a lot of years to realice this. People have to stop using rental prices in cities like Toronto and Vancouver. That's like Americans using rental costs in Bel-Air California or Manhattan as an example of what rent costs in America. It's not a realistic portrayal of rental costs. \nHere in Quebec the the annual tax rate is between 26.53% and 53.31%, depending on income. Then you have to consider all the socialist programs that you are forced to pay into, which also sucks up a significant amount on your weekly salary. After that, you must consider that you pay 15% sales tax on almost everything. It's safe to say that half of your yearly earnings, give or take, are taken in taxes and socialized programs. As for salaries, less than 20% of the Canadian population make a 6 figure salary. We're not talking about household income. I am talking about individual income. You're not going to become rich here in Canada! The majority of people who do become rich leave Canada to avoid taxation. Canadians live a life of debt. You will live just balancing your debt to make sure it doesn't get out of control Few Canadians have money in savings without debt. The ones who do have money saved, most of them have debts on top of their savings which is counterproductive in my opinion.

This the fault the Corrupted Canadian government because they keep recklessly bringing Refugees and Immigrants .

To make matters worse, there are some who become “Canadians of Convenience” who, once becoming Canadian citizens and holding Canadian passports, leave Canada to go live in their countries and when things blow off, and their countries become war torn, they ask the Canadian government to pay for their flights back, not to mention those who get sick outside the country and come back to get treated at the expense of government health care. And after all is done, they once again leave the country. Really?

I am non Muslim also living in the Okanagan Valley and I agree with you on all these points. Being third generation Canadian I am also considering leaving Canada. I remember as a young boy the Okanagan has been very discriminating to others who just did not fit in to their normal.

In 2007, my yearly gross income was double what I paid for my home. Now my home is worth double my income. My income is still the same amount in 2023 as it was in 2007. Food has increased 30% alone since 2021. So you can see Canadians were rich in 2007 compared to what today's cost of living is.

In Canada wages have actually gone down in the private sector ue to a surplus of cheap labor in the market,, while government workers wages have gone up too match inflation. My sister have Canadian citizenship. After 3 years leaving there she said - that is no place for intelligent people and she and her Canadian husband moved to Europe . She had a USA citizenship as well but ??‍♀️ for the last 20 years they have been Belgium citizens

After all that Canada has done to help you, you still don't want to stay?? Then leave!! On your way out, try to ask people who try to immigrate to China how their experience is like. I moved to Canada in 2016, I have a university degree in engineering from a European country, and I have realized without a Canadian degree and experience it's really hard to find a job, I did my research and started to learn coding online. I worked on my Software dev portfolio (github, resume) and started to apply for jobs. Now working as a dev for a tech company in Toronto. I was paying a few years back 1400 for a basement... I working remotely so I decided to leave Canada and move to a more affordable country now I pay 1000 for an amazing Budapest downtown apartment.

I was genuinely thinking of moving to Canada, but I'm glad I didn't. Instead, I moved north in the UK to escape the high prices around London for rent. When I say high prices I mean anywhere within 50 miles of London as the place is so expensive people will commute for miles.\n\nI ended up working in a warehouse for more money, and paying less rent for a flat instead of a room. I even met a lady at work who is Canadian and moved to the UK. The lady said She was in a rut she could not escape. Luckily her parents were from the UK, so she was eligible to migrate to the UK.

It's a disgrace how Canada has been governed the last 8 years. Government debt is through the roof and that burden has been passed directly to the once so called middle class now the working poor. I am leaving Canada as I can only see life and standard of living dropping considerably. If they stop the idiot policies now, it will take a generation to recover, but i hardly see that happening. The climate activists, gender activists and health fear mongering is controlling policy and brainwashing children. Canadians will accpet things. You can get much better education in India without any tution fee and storm the world with skills and intellegence- we have high quality institutions like IITS(technologu), IIMS(management), IISC, IISERs(Scientific Research), AIIMS(medical sciences) you name.
