This probably would not have taken place if the US hadn't destroyed the Venezuelan economy with sanctions. Venezuela is one of the most oil rich countries in the world, sitting an estimated 1 trillion barrels of oil. But US oil corporations want that oil for themselves so allowing Venezuela government to keep the profits for their people is a no-no, hence the sanctions.

One of things that I learnt 33 years ago when I moved to USA was not to convert the money because you won’t be able to eat. I sponsored my mother almost 20 years ago and she didn’t enjoy living here because of her life and friends back home. I think your video is well done. I used to love visiting the US especially the west and have fond memories of our travels .Now we don't travel to the US because of the gun violence and so many guns. Most Canadians don't want guns and think gun control should be very strict. I am very content with the way things are in Canada. We have high taxes but we have so many benefits, like maternity leave of 12 months or more. We have free healthcare with no premiums to pay. We have at least 2 government pensions , one we help contribute to and one is totally government funded plus a guarantee supplement if needed . Most people also have a company or union \npension . Most people retire between 60 to 65 years , but its certainly not compulsory. Canada is hoping to have a 4 day work week soon. Our federal government is generous helping with supplements for food etc. We welcome newcomers and we have a very diverse population. I have traveled to different parts of the world and I am very content here.

Racism happens to a lot of races here in Canada and around the world and I think will always be the case. My mom came from the Philippines and worked two jobs back to back for 17 years and was bullied so badly by East Indians because they ran her work place but she had to stay strong and deal with that among other things while growing up but is still grateful to Canada until this day. My ex girlfriend of many years was Congolese but grew up in Kenya and yes I felt racism on her part when we were together and it was frustrating and sad but again it came from all races not just white people. She is still grateful for Canada and always stayed strong and didn’t let these idiotic attitudes tear her down. Hopefully things will change in the world but the state it is in right now doesn’t seem to be the case.
