Smh… Some peeps gotta talk apples when I’m talking oranges…as their rebuttal doesn’t quite respond in proper context to my statement. So let me be clear: the Aboriginal People have absolutely every single right to be disgruntled and complain if any nation is to do so especially after having been swindled and bamboozled out of their land and space and way of life. This is why if any nation/ group is expected to raise up and fuss and complain it’s the Natives/Indigenous People. The circumstances are not even remotely near the same here with Canadians today versus what the Aboriginals went through pre-European Canada. We don’t even need to go there. Naturally, any one particular group that occupies a certain space and then has said space slowly taken over by another group/nation will be displeased to say the least and it is their right to complain. Truly no one nation or group can occupy any land or space forever as no one truly owns the land to begin with. Who’s disputing that?? So why even complain at all over something we don’t even truly own, even though we have somewhat of a right to do so?? The world is gradually becoming more of a melting pot of different races of people. And needless to state, Canada is a country of many nations and it would be very unbecoming of any minority immigrant to be here and be racist towards and complain about the other ethnicities/minorities here. Hence what triggered my comment in the first place. Immigrants wanna boldly come here and change things to suit them. This is Canada! And that’s not how things work here. Why come to my home and then complain about the occupants? Just go back where you came from. Period!

It is so interesting how europeans whom have a notorious history for stealing people's lands, killing, raping etc. even till date, will come up on media to complain that some of their VICTIMS are migrating to a land (canada) which is not even originally european in the first place neither are the aborigines europeans. The worst part of this mass student fraud immigration scam is that it is essentially creating a class of indentured servants in Canada. Where i live, wealthy indians buy a franchise, they then get permits for foreign workers in india, who they CHARGE under the table of to 40k (their families life savings) for the permit to come work in their franchise. They also rent to for or 5 of them ONE ROOM to share, rent being deducted from their pay. They are then exploited and told if they complain they will be deported with no money and shame their families back home...its messed up and it's 100% happening in every canadian city. If you notice the indian worker at the fast food joint isnt too happy, it may be because they are a literal slave. Very progressive!

These Indians immigrants come legally not illegally. Indians in Brampton are the ones who are highly educated or running Buisness, . well I have to say that this video is yet another white man complaining how the country is when they sat and watched it happen over the past 20 years. BOO Hoo you're the minority now sucks don't it. Not being able to get hired white people homeless living in the streets and entire areas are being taken over by immigrants. WHAT TO HELL HAVE WHITE PEOPLE BEEN DOING FOR 20 YEARS!! I’m a little late to this video but have a lot to say. As a Canadian of Indian descent, I have always avoided Brampton. There is a stark difference between Indians from Brampton and those of us that are from other cities. This situation is out of control mainly due to JT but also colleges that have setup feeder international schools that cater just to Indian students. I’d imagine Chinese students have something similar to this as well, they’re just more quiet. \n\nA lot of the comments come off as offensive but it is what it is, There are too many of my ethnic people here and they’re not assimilating let alone intending to do so. Chain migration is another problem as it brings in an older generation that has no desire to learn English. Crime is having a runaway effect because of the environment they come from, fights break out at intersections, parking lots, backyards, front yards, etc. This is reckless and embarrassing for all Indians, especially us Punjabis. This goes unreported because of how vindictive these people are because of whichever town/city they came from. There are also rumours that these female students are home wreckers so there’s another layer. \n\nMy solution: \n1) Stop immigration, these people are giving our entire community a bad rep when we’ve worked so hard to get to where we are in this country. Return to skills based immigration, not WEF-based. \n2) Cap the international student populations tied to the census - this opens up opportunities for international students from ALL countries and walks of life. \n3) International students cannot be allowed to work - Canadian students First, Canada First. \n4) After graduation, give students 1 year to find a job in their field of study. If they can’t find one, send them back and learn skills and then that’s their only back to Canada. \n5) if they do make it to immigration, we need a better system than just a simple memorization test - have them demonstrate their command of the English language, look at their value added and potential for the future. \n6) Conservatives need to be a part of the solution. A lot of the comments are just complaints and complaining will get these folks voting red vs voting blue each and every time. That guy commenting about no temples in Timmins will just push these people to the liberals and this is what JT is counting on. We need to show these folks what being Canadian is about so that they leave Brampton and assimilate. I’ve introduced countless folks to Pierre and have changed their outlooks, y’all need to do the same. Everyone complaining should ask themselves a few questions. These Indians and by extent all immigrants have significant barriers. I'll refer to only indians here. They have names which are hard to pronounce. Some of them have a look only a mother can love. They cant speak as well as we do. We cannot understand them. Majority of them come here w nothing. Yet...yet...they have become THE Richest diaspora in America and they are not doing too badly here in Canada as well. Now you have to ask yourself why is this the case. They start frombthe bottom and in 20 years or less they end up at the top. I think most rational sane ppl will know the answer, other immigrants will know the answer. The answer is: they work hard at educating themselves and then they work hard at their jobs. Some of you will say they get tax breaks and child tax subsidies etc. But those things are handouts...its not designed for you to become rich from, just to keep from drowning. So its not handouts. They literally work hard all their lives. Do you see any of them at the ball game? Or out partying? Or out having a grand time. The same ones delivering your uber eats in 20 years will be richer than you. Even with all the barriers I mentioned before. I am an Eastern European national whos been here for the past 40 years.

Why do we as a country face a lack of productivity issue rather than our south neighbour USA?\n\nI'm also an immigrant who came to this wonderful country (again I'm not Indian). But what I see, is nobody going to take responsibility for this social, economic and political issue. Liberals complain to conservatives, conservatives point to liberals and so on. I'm all for immigration to help a country grow however, what Canada has done is first, bring in too many at once and not INTEGRATED the new comers. \n\nFact is, if you want to go to a country because of their freedom and job opportunity then don't come and try to change the country into what you just fled from!!\n\nAnd this is what has happened. Canada has allowed our laws and even speech change to cater to a foreign culture and political idea. Canada became great for what it was and ways it was not for socialism and other country politics. We've got road sign in Pakistan and some in Mandarin and some in blah blah blah. Too many languages creates divide and this is the other issue. Our own country, a country that designates french or English has signs and communities designated in foreign languages. This is not acceptable and is a cause creating divide. You come, you learn the language and INTEGRATE! We loved our country, you wanted to come for what our country has so don't try to turn it into the country you fled! And stop alienating the people who were here before you. \n\nSo, these are the two BIG ISSUES Canadians complain about. Rightfully so. \n\nI myself don't live in Ontario but find Alberta has become a foreign country and I feel like I am in danger now in my own lands. Integration is so important, and Trudeau bringing in millions in a short time line did not integrate but now caused a great deal of violence and many new comers confused and hateful to Canadians when they simply don't understand that what they have done is not integrate but are overtaking and we feel at war with them.

We have the same problem. I actually like the people, but….somehow, immigrants have managed to have been able to acquire the vast majority of retail jobs in our area. How is that possible? There are businesses and fast food chains with not one white person working as an employee. I spoke to a former worker that was at one of these businesses for years and asker her WTF happened? She told me that the company hired a new manager from India, within 6 months, half the staff were Indian, local students were not being hired for part time jobs, only Indians, by the end of the year, every single employee was Indian. \nShe along with other quit their jobs because….not because they’re racist, but because not only were they being treated differently than the now majority brown workers, but they were being made to feel excluded because…the manager and the new staff all spoke a different language, they would all work together in a group not speaking English at all, saying things and laughing making it pretty obvious that they were making fun of the white employees. The “manager” would ignore the white staff’s complaints and he would then seemingly punish them by giving them less hours, change their duties and give “the good shifts” to the new brown people to the point where the white people were made to feel alienated as well as cutting back their hours leaving them with not enough hours to make a living. “This is Canada Mother Fecker” these people need to speak our language when they’re in public or at the workplace with “Canadians” or…employers should fire them. I will note, that the A&W that this happened at, has changed not only by every single employee being brown, but the service is not near as friendly, they all speak to each other in a different language behind the counter.. the seating area is not even close to being clean, the tables usually are left with trays and garbage that aren’t being cleaned as customer leave. It so bad sometimes that I literally have to pick a dirty table and remove the garbage myself because every available table has not been cleaned….and the bathrooms …. I don’t even want to talk about it they’re so disgusting. And when you complain….they turn to other employees and speak a different language… so we have no idea about WTF they are actually doing or saying about the issue. “ Thank you Sir, we will take care of that.” And the next day…it was the same. I’ve stopped going there along with everyone that I know…our work crew along with our families can no longer support such a dirty, rude and disrespectful business.

I'm all for ethnically diverse neighborhoods but there is a point where they become big enough, made up entirely of one ethnicity, no incentive to integrate or adopt the customs or even laws of the host country that it eventually becomes a foreign nation state occupying a part of Canada. Even more troublesome when the narrative is that Canada is a postnational state and that everything that came before is all bad and needs to be torn down and/or forgotten. What has attracted immigrants to Canada over time is Canadian values, all that has been built and defended in Canada. Now older generations of immigrants are complaining that Canada is turning into an oppressive, crime ridden state like the countries they fled from. That the Canadian values they cherish are being subverted.

It's always been this way. The French and English were in their separate enclaves in the beginning. The Irish, Scottish and Germans then established their bases where they could more easily integrate into their new societies….The Italians and Portuguese and Greeks and other Euros set up shop in the 50's 60's and 70's…Most of them lived among their own communities with familiarity…Same for all the Asian and African, S.American, Carribean immigrants and others ever since…. They may stay a generation or two in these communities, but children of immigrants lean to living wherever suits them. It's like the evolution of immigrant societies. This is happening all over the world at this moment, and people of all races ,creeds and colours are complaining of other groups of peoples of all races, creeds and colours moving into and sometimes engulfing their communities.\nSome communities have been Gentrified…Do we shake our fists in the air and scream ' Damn those young professionals!!?' Other communities have been inundated by hordes of Seniors. It wouldn't surprise me if the blatant racists commenting on this site didn't suggest Euthanasia in such cases, or perhaps loading them onto ice-floes and tugging them out to sea. If you're not happy, MOVE! If you can't adapt, or if you can't see that we're really all the same, all wanting the same things in life, or if you don't realize that most people from these countries are actually really nice and worth knowing, well don't go away angry, just go away to wherever suits you. Perhaps there's an Ice floe out there for you somewhere.

There isn't anything wrong with those who immigrate to Canada and adapt to Canadian Customs and Traditions, But when they start complaining about our Customs and Traditions, and want us to change them, then I have a BIG problem with it !!!! Dual Citizenship needs to be outlawed !! You want to be a Canadian, then be 100% Canadian !! If that is too much to ask of someone, then Don't come here, stay home !! Don't come here and take a job away from a Canadian, while keeping your other Citizenship so you can go back when you feel that you're ready too, that's Total BS and Unacceptable !! Im generally pro-immigration, but highlighting students who choose to go to a foreign country while paying exorbitant tuitions and then complain about the cost is...not a situation that garners sympathy

I understand that it's difficult but to complain about paying high taxes to help others, don't forget that others may feel the same way about having to pay taxes for immigrants from Africa. You are complaining about the same system that you relied on. You have come to learn how tax payers may have viewed you...kind of a double standard..if I am going to live in another country because I can't make enough money in my own country I wouldn't be complaining...if you are only there to make money and think you can make more in the states you will only work harder for less in the states

High rent and crime are problems across Canada right now. Larger cities will be more strongly impacted. \nThe root causes are actually quite simple. It's from decades of downloading responsibility for many services until they ended up in the hands of municipalities who had no capacity to fund them, then made 2x worse by the disastrous immigration policy of just the last few years.\nIt explains all three of the problems you identify, unaffordable rent, high crime rate, and underfunded social services.\nSo these are not problems with Toronto, but at the federal and provincial levels. Simply repeating that there are plenty of better options elsewhere doesn't make it true, unless you can give specific examples. Other places likely pay less, require longer commutes, don't offer small size rentals, have even worse social support, similar crime rates, or some combination of all those factors.\nToronto itself isn't as bad as this video makes it out to be. The downtown core skews all the averages, yet all the reporting, b-roll, and examples seen here seem to focus on the core. Of course the reason why it's worse in the core is because so many people want to live there! But I'm not going to concern myself about people who complain that they can't afford to live urban lifestyle, to be a part of 'the scene'. There are plenty of much more affordable options within a 30 minute subway ride of the core. Well inside city limits. But your friends won't think you're cool, so... oh no!\nYes, rents are still too high outside the core, of course. But they aren't as ridiculous as this video suggests. The city is massive. Grow some humility and find a place to that you can afford to live, within Toronto.

Canada is a great country and Trudeau is a great man. We need more immigration into Canada. Those who are complaining are just selfish and dont want other immigrants in.

Australia is suffering the exact same problems no housing, price of everything rising, immigrants complaining. Government wanted to increase it's tax base straight away and didn't have the patience to actually plan around the highest immigration numbers in history. And make no mistake that wasn't an accident. I'm not against immigration but 1 million people in 3 years is a little bit extreme. I can't even imagine how bad it is in Canada, feel for you guys, apart from New Zealand I see Canadians as our other brothers from across the pond.

Canadians have to decide what they want to prioritize. We can keep education at its current level if we either pay more in taxes or allow the students in. Otherwise we have to start paying at minimum double what the current domestic price is. Same with our food. People are complaining that prices are too high, but prices need to get higher if we want to start employing Canadians on farms and in factories at livable wages. Canadians don't want to acknowledge that as messed up as it is right now, we need to pay substantially more for day to day for things we take for granted if we don't want to rely on the labour exploitations of immigrants and temp foreign workers.

I don't understand how the first man who spoke complaining about everything is not able to get a job on his own or do something instead of blaming immigrants, immigrants are the ones who do the dirty jobs that Canadians don't want to do, but still complain...If you are in that situation it is by personal decision, we all go through shitty moments sometimes and that doesn't mean we have to become resentful drug addicts of society, if you want a change it starts with you!

Getting ill causing a month long stay in the ICU left me homeless as living paycheck to paycheck causes once the cheques stop , I was placed in a Toronto homeless shelter 3 years ago and I can tell you that African refugees enter a shelter and no more than 3 weeks later are housed usually 5 at a time all Getting a fully paid market value 1 bedroom apartment average price $2,600 monthly that with a monthly welfare cheque and free food dental medical prescriptions clothing WIN WIN WIN the Canadian born homeless shelter residents get put on a 38,000 name waiting list for Ontario's drug infested housing ghettos the Africans are being housed under a kept secret program called COHB secret from us Canadian homeless that is and I've witnessed this now at 5 different shelters I've been in, having befriended one of the African migrants who is a little unstable drinking alcohol and smoking pot so he hasn't been housed but he has shown me the paper work that has been housing his fellow illegal immigrants and I say illegal because they all came as visitors only to claim asylum as soon as they land he also told me they all borrow the money for their plane tickets from a gang who once they land and start instantly getting welfare have to send half the proceeds back to this gang in Africa for the next two years , in this shelter donated clothing comes in everyday and two African shelter residents fold and sort the clothing taking all the name brand clothes what they didn't hand out to the other Africans they walk to the post office and ship it back to Africa I'm not making this shit up after we complained to staff which also happen to be made up from the Africans themselves yes they've hired wolves to watch over the other wolves so they now aren't walking out the front door everyday with garbage bags full of clothes at least not in front of our eyes DON'T CALL ME RACIST I know that's the go to word when this insanity is made public , what do you think is the first thing these Africans do when they walk into their free apartment? Make phone calls back to the friends they left in Africa saying Get on the next plane to Canada free apartment free food free clothing free medication free dental and free money every month Canadians need not apply

Canada should be hiring more people like Karma to encourage these disgruntled Indian immigrants to go home. We need more permanent residents anxious to build Canada, work hard for education, careers and learning more about our wonderful country. I am a 12th generation Canadian. When my forefathers arrived here in the late 1700’s they didn’t have all the amenities that today’s immigrants are in-tilled to.They taught two world wars and struggled through a decade of depression. Immigrants arrive expecting free healthcare, education, infrastructure ect. We had generations of struggle to make Canada the wonderful safe democracy that it is. Keep the 10 requirements for eventual admission to our country. But the Mikey Mouse easy education should not be one of them. They should be required to spend their first 5 years vs the current 3 years in Canada and not India . They should be required to learning about Canadian culture, Christian based laws, learn one of our official languages and much more. I wonder if NATO is forced to go to war, how many of these complainers would agree to fight for the sovereignty of this amazing democracy.❤

I have found that a majority of people coming to Toronto looking for drugs, streetlife, and complain, are from New Brunswick; a very large number of white ppl in ONPH, TCHC, are also from New Brunswick; the new growth in immigrants in encampment are not being supported by their own communities, like the recent women who died in a Mississauga, was not a drug addict, and 3 pregnant women sleeping in front of the immigration office on Peter St, received no assistance from the women who run soup kitchens or shelter system or churches until the public discovered that many of them were put on buses at Pearson, or from border crossings and delivered straight to that site on Peter Street; have you ever heard of a group of refugees coming to Toronto and not being supported by their own? No, because, what this really is, is a disgusting ploy by the NDP, Olivia Chow, Gord Perks, Andrea Horwath, Jagmeet Singh and many other groups, nonprofits and TCHC, ONPH, TDSB, TTC, who used the whole situation to force more funding and shelters and housing where their union members work; people really have no idea how bad these ghettos of TCHC/ONPH/NDP are; just look up Sunshine List and count the number of public and nonprofit agencies are on it; Kwame Addo, Susan Opler, John Kraljevic, Barry Thomas. Many of the city workers were also immigrants who came from the former Yugoslavia, and Russia, who held union positions in Communist countries; next election, check out the numbers who vote for the Communist Party of Canada

1. The Liberals need more Liberal voters. And I'm not just saying that in a facetious manner - I live in an area with high numbers of immigrants and have heard them say they will vote Liberal because they came to the country thanks to the Liberals.\n2. We wouldn't need foreign workers for all these jobs if the gov't stopped handouts and put more focus on rewarding workers. I have 3 family members on AISH that have nothing wrong with them beyond being SO LAZY. But you doctor shop and k*$$ the @$$ of the person deciding if you can be on the program and you get it. They know how to work the system for any cent they can get from the gov't, then complain it's not enough to live on - IT WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE AN INCOME ANYWAY but just assistance for SEVERELY handicapped people who actually need it.

I'm all for bringing in the 'skills & talent' with new immigrants. But these new Canadians must fit the criteria that Canada needs and they must come in through the legal system, be properly vetted and willing to abide by the laws of the land. Instead, what Trudeau is bringing in through open borders are freeloaders, people who take advantage of the welfare system and refuse to work. And many of them have long criminal histories. Some even insist on bringing their quarrels with them along with the hatred they harbour for other groups of people. Then they proceed to protest in the streets about what is going on in the countries they left and worse, they harass others on college campuses and elsewhere because they don't like their race, culture or ethnicity. We see it everywhere. And if we Canadians complain about it, we're called every name in the book. Not fair to Canadians. Not fair to those who are waiting in line to come in legally.

I am in IT, immigrated to Canada from Punjab around 16 yrs ago. I never applied for any job since I landed and was never without a job too. Its actually recruiters who keep on contacting me by checking my LinkedIn profile or seeing my resume online. In recent 1-2 weeks too, I got 6-7 offers. I live in Manitoba with a decent affordable house and have a decent affordable life. \nI love Canada. Living here happily with no complains.

There is a whole other Canada outside Toronto, Brampton or Vancouver. Disgruntled, leave. No one is stopping you from leaving. Should have done more investigation on Canada instead of taking some hired foreign immigration official advice, whose job is to make money off your back, telling you mistruths and all you had to do was do your own investigation. This has nothing to do with immigrants, China, the US, Japan, etc. have a higher population than Canada and are smaller in size. Complaining about issues won't solve them but just makes it worse. Out of my own experiences, I believe the Canadian policy makers should step up on major issues. \nReal estate, health, evaluating skilled immigrants, monopolism, and inflation. \nThey can't blame 1.5 million newcomers for problems of 38 million people.

Born and day raised here. Immigration is out of control as is all all the social services, bailouts, and specials needs funding. Rhis created a huge debt to income defeciet that anyone with any brains could see coming a mile away. We are also forcing ourselves out of any useful manufacturing and were fooled by the government that mass immigration would solve all the problems. It did the opposite. It was great 30 years ago. Still, I don't know where you could go that is better. Racism was almost gone and the complainers brought it back by wanting to be more than equal.

Many of these immigrants obtained their desired education, obtained a Canadian passport as backup security and then they’re moving on to what they view/perceive as better financial prospects elsewhere. Many immigrants arrive pregnant , have their children here in Canada and the child receives a Canadian passport. They’ve also reached the minimum number of years to become eligible for government OAS. \nStop all whining and complaining! These new immigrants who have contributed absolutely nothing to the infrastructure hospitals, schools, bridges, roads, highways….are complaining! Bloody hell!
