I feel for that lady,I'm a home owner, but not for long, I lost my job due to a back injury, I went back to school for DZ and heavy equipment tickets, graduated 7 months ago and unable to find work, I spent all my savings, in 3 years. every where i go in my city is Indians with all the jobs i can't get a new job here at all can't even get any calls. my old job i was Team Leader at a Dollarama, with almost 3 years of experience and can't even get a job doing same stuff that i have alot of experience with. that Dollarama is right next to my house, i go there to get stuff all the time and guess what that entire staff is Indian. there is like 5 or 6 of them and 3 none Indians who are old co workers of mine. the Manager is Indian too and all i see when it's new hires is yup you guessed it a new Indian hire.

Healthcare in Canada is only a promise, the reality is the wait-list, every step of the way. I took a 17-month wait for a mri and cut it down to 17 hours, cutting a multi-year process down to 6 days. To get a mri in Canada is not easy there are only a smattering of private options if you want to pay, but you still have to wait 3 weeks, and it will cost $3500. I said screw it, bought a plane ticket, flew to Bangkok arriving on a Saturday, saw a doctor on Sunday, had a mri on Monday, and got the results on Friday. Then I spent the next week sitting on a beach. The total cost all in was $1900. I am not fussy, I'll accept any hospital in any country that will accept me.

Why do I say this? Because here in India I personally know many people from Punjab and Haryana who go there. In both states, you can easily find many agents who reassure people that they can send them to Canada or the USA without much difficulty. You can also see the trend among Punjabis—many aspire to drive trucks and cars in Canada. In India, people often see Punjabis as if their only purpose in life is to go to Canada. I love Punjabi people, but I don’t like this mindset. 5. So, the people you see doing disgusting things are most likely illegal immigrants. Why? Because genuine people go there to educate themselves and contribute something meaningful to the culture—not to behave like those individuals. 6. I really hope Canada can recover from this. I have a friend who went there in 2015, and he once told me to visit the country. Canadians are truly amazing, and the natural beauty (except the winter!) is so nice. Please, Canadian government, take some steps for the well-being of your people.❤

My neighbours daughter was denied a employment from an establishment which is frequented by all and was told if she doesn't speak Hindi she cannot be hired. I told her to report them to the government and the HO of the company. I will not say which company but I'm sure someone can guess the establishment in less than 3 guesses

People are hating unfairly on immigrants when it is the government is at fault for not managing immigration better. I am an immigrant, I have never felt that any one group is forcing anything on me. I live my life, pay taxes, do my civic duties , mind my business , don't bother anyone and try to get along with everyone regardless . Yet I have been verbally attacked several times because I am non white. So I often wonder who is truly Canadian and if you are of "colour" will you forever be a hyphenated Canadian even if you are 3, 4 , 5 th or multigenerational born and bred in Canada. The high cost of living and unaffordabilty of housing is one thing, declining national fertility rates another and immigration is another. To me, It looks like Canada's immigration policy needs urgent reform and yes, immigrants should leave their baggage at the door.
