Kudos to the PM Trudeau for speaking out against Trump tariffs. Mr. Trudeau sees what the Trump voters fail to see prior to the elections. Trump is using the excuse of stopping drugs coming into the country. When in reality his tariffs will only benefit corporations. These tariffs will be passed down to the consumers who will pay for them. If everyone who voted for Trump weren't deaf and blind we would not have to now worry more about inflation and higher prices. All those who blamed Biden for increased prices should have looked back at the pandemic that Trump failed to acknowledge.

I don’t understand how orange stupid lost his first trade war he started during his first term and doubling down again thinking something will magically change. Why don't people know that Canada already has tariffs placed on our goods long before Trump....look it up... their tariffs are and were much higher....to the point were they benefited much more than the US did

I believe that once we get everything on line, we can weather out the storm. What does Canada have that we don't have? All we want is a fair deal. We have endured the burden of ensuring the safety and economic development of our allies. They have all benefitted, and it is time for them to offer some relief while Trump works on our problems back home.

All these years US has a trade deficit of 1 trillion dollars every year. With tariffs we could have recovered 250 billion every year. That is a lot of money. Currently every American owes $110,000 because of the accumulated debt of 36.5 trillion.\n\nJustin, how long are we supposed to bend back wards while US has a trade deficit of trillion dollar over the past 20 years.
