Maybe Trump the ignoramus is right... do Canadians really want to give up and just become part of the USA? I doubt it, but if you're in any doubt as to where to live, don't try just south of you. It's got all the problems you mention and then some. And of course it's still a great country; I was born here and live here happily. But I've also been to Canada four times since the 1980's, and each time I am just wowed by the many ways in which Canada seems ahead of the USA. The grass truly is greener on the other side of the fence... just be aware of what you have, and that you have an amazing country, too. Problem with us Canadian is, when you've had the best you can't tolerate the rest.

Canadians have been left behind by their own country in favour of Indians. Canada as we know it is done, it is in severe decline and the quality of life of all Canadians has suffered from this influx. At old age homes, Canadians are being passed up and made homeless in favour of new immigrants (all Indians), all low income jobs have been taken by Indians, locals youth can't get jobs. Indians are super racist towards white or latino people (like me), and they are not taking up Canadian customs and manners. Canada is being ruined by Indians. Canadians have been left behind. 1 in 6 people globally are indian. Their breeding is out of control, and they ALL want to come here for free healthcare, hand outs and fresh water. I mean, look what they've done to India, Canada is next. It is all ready in severe decline, and quality of life is at the lowest ever because of this.

Wow so I’m a Canadian living in the US and I’ve been doing my process legally and I entered the country legally but wait I haven’t gotten no ID nor social security so when they come they get everything like in 3-6 months and I’ve been waiting for 6 years.

Forgive me for what I'm about to say, but after two years of living here, I've come to a personal observation about Canadian politeness. It's not always as it's described. They'll say sorry, but it doesn't always seem genuine. They'll avoid conflict, but this can lead to a noticeable discordance between their words and actions.

Many people now days have a negative view of Indian immigrants. USA is flooded with Indian scammers. Many complain about behavioral issues. So, the reputation is not exactly great. I've seen more and more US and Canadians pushing back.

As a Canadian we are NOT the friendliest I have been in USA and I’ve met more nicer people here than in Canada.\nIn Canada there’s this “we are better than Americans” or “at least we aren’t American”.\nBut, really no Canadian has ever talked to me in the line at Safeway to ask how my day is going or a waitress hug me at ihop (that was odd I’ll give you that) but never in Canada have I had people genuinely be nice.\nThat whole “Americans” are rude is a lie that Canadians tell ourselves.

I've written similar comments elsewhere that were automatically deleted by the person who posted the video, and I found that disheartening. I first want to address the rumour about human feces and dirty diapers being found on Canadian beaches, and I want to stand up for the people who called out Indians for doing this. Somebody saw something. Maybe they weren't able to produce any legal proof of it, but they clearly saw something, and there is nothing racist about them calling out this behaviour. This practice is not only unhygienic. It is ILLEGAL in Canada; so, it absolutely should be called out publicly to prevent it from ever happening again. I have seen many videos about the culture of mass open defection in India. The videos I saw were posted by Indians themselves. One of those videos was a TEDx talk done by a woman named Sangita Vyas who discussed the truth about open defecation and that it is not limited to only the poor population. Even people who can afford to build latrines are not using them, and she explains why after interviewing Indians to ask why. I've watched Indian doctors talk online about how many Indian children die from something as simple as diarrhea every year as a direct result of the water contamination caused by open defecation. So, clearly, open defecation is legal in India, and perhaps some of these people think if it's legal at home then it must also be legal elsewhere. WRONG. It's illegal in Canada. It's unhygienic. It should never happen. Period. And there is NOTHING racist about a Canadian saying this out loud and reminding people that they must follow the rules and laws of the country they are in.

Yes I was, after Trump got elected no. Disabled human rights are horrible here and as compensation for lawsuits can be capped in cases that is unlikely to change. I should state the government had to pay me $25,000 dollars for violating my rights (this cost me $35,000+ in legal fees!) so I know of what I speak. It was the same when I moved provinces. In terms of mobility my fate was better in the 4 third world countries I visited after my stroke, there are no busses in loads of places here as we can’t “afford” them. Also I should state the government tried to make me site an NDA that would not allow me to state their behaviour, this should be illegal where government money is concerned! On to health care…. Why do disabled people struggle to get a family doctor when they move provinces? Also why did the mother of a Ukrainian disabled kid have to go back to a country that had been invaded to get help for her child that was having convulsions? She got no help here and her child was in our system by then and her husband has been paying taxes since I got him a job here 3 day a after landing. They use student visas as a pathway to work permits and eventual permanent residency. Many refuse to assimilate or respect Canadian culture and values, creating tensions with the Canadian public. This has led to growing xenophobia, political pressure to tighten immigration policies, and resulting in international students across the board facing deportation after their studies. \n \nIn Singapore (where I'm from), we’ve also observed a similar trend over the years. Individuals from India often enroll in short, diluted, and overpriced postgraduate diploma programs designed primarily to attract indian foreigners. These programs serve as stepping stones to secure student visas and, eventually, local jobs. While many return home after a few months without success, those who secure jobs often refuse to assimilate. Instead, they create workplace tensions to drive out the locals, and once they got onto managerial positions, often conduct preferential hiring towards people of their own ethnicity / village. \n \nThis trend must stop. \n\n1. Someone who has a desired skill, and are ready embrace other cultures, should apply work visa. \n2. Someone who is a scholar, or geniunely wishes to study in foreign university, should apply student visa. \n3. Someone who is a mediocre opportunist who wants a quick backdoor to a job or permanent residency in other country, should not disguise themselves as a student. \n \n\nNot that hard.

Lax, i cycle commute to work for 31 years now in a Canadian city and in the last couple years its become increasingly dangerous. I live in Canada and, as an immigrant, I study alongside many Indians. One of the biggest challenges I’ve observed is the difficulty some people have in adapting to Canadian culture. Indians, like many other groups, have a very strong and vibrant cultural identity, which is absolutely valid and important. However, when you choose to live in a country that is not your own, there is a certain responsibility to adapt to the new culture. After all, you made the decision to move to a different country, and part of that decision involves immersing yourself in the local culture.

Canadians make a tent encampment because they've got nowhere else to go: the surrounding community antagonizes and assaults them and the police demolish/trash their tents.\n\nIndian WHO HAVE A PLACE TO GO HOME TO make an encampment: the surrounding community gives them gennys and food. The Peel police who are all Indians themselves give their encampment protection.

Come election time Canadians let's remember to put the pressure on poilevre because this one issue solves so many issues, the economy, healthcare strain, housing crisis. We don't have room at our own table. They've ruined our country. So guys we know what's worth voting for. Mass deportation.

Not telling the Canadian government how to do their job. \n\nBut I work in tech - when something goes wrong in the pipe, we investigate by hitting the pause button and start reverse engineering to see where the corrupt code was introduced. Then isolate it, and deconstruct/rewrite it. \n\nTelling a tax-paying immigrant that we made an oopsie and the lives they’ve been living have been technically criminal and they need to be deported ASAP - not down with that. Will we have stolen their labor and money? REALLY not down with that. Their situation is in the same direction of the Dreamers in the US.

I moved to Canada upon retirement at age 60. Best decision! I’ve had good experiences with the Ontario and Nova Scotia healthcare. As I didn’t have emergencies, I didn’t wait more than a month for specialists. Canadians don’t like travelling to get appointments sooner which is common in the US. \nMany here think emergency room wait times in the States is much shorter, but I’ve accompanied friends in New York State for treatment only to wait over eight hours. \nHere in Niagara Falls, Canada my ex had a kidney stone causing great pain. The wait time to get morphine and treatment was about 45 min. \nI got a colonoscopy in four days here. In the US I waited three months. \nNo cost or copayments, and there are no in-network requirements that I know of. \nI would not live in the US again. Visiting is just fine!

I am a Latino Canadian I've been here for 23 years and I think the government should only bring people from countries that will mix/ interbreed/get marry and have children with different cultures and religion so that means no Indians, no Muslims, no Jews unless they are willing to interbreed so we can have a more peaceful and more inclusive country.

As a Latino immigrant(Canadian Citizen)living in Canada for 23 years I found that many Indian business owners are very dishonest, many times paying very cheap wages and many times stealing money from their employees(stealing hours), I'm a truck driver and I've been ripped off by East Indian trucking companies that didn't pay me my money many times, they are also very unsafe, they don't fix their trucks, they break the traffic rules. Trucking used to be a highly pay job before the Indians started opening their trucking companies and lowering their prices now the whole trucking industry is garbage thanks to the Indians, the news say that there is a shortage of truck drivers ha ha ha is not true what happens is that truck drivers do not wanna work for Indians because they are very cheap and most are crooks at least in the trucking industry. Than God that I've been trucking for a long time so I know which companies are good and I work for a good Canadian company.

I completely agree with the woman at 11:10 they should adapt into our culture and adopt our behaviours. It sucks though because a lot of the poojeets I’ve talked to have this attitude that Canadian culture doesn’t exist. They ask questions like “what is Canadian culture”? Or “what is western culture” like it’s some kind of gotcha question and therefore justification for them to behave however they like in our homeland. It’s time we stop being scared of being labeled racist and start standing up for our families, our country, and our futures.

I believe it's common in other cultures to invite people who they've just met into their homes. In fact that's how they get to know people. Not so in Canada. Newcomers will sometimes be frustrated because they don't know how to meet people. The answer is to join activities or invite people to cafes. Join a sport group, or invite someone to coffee at a cafe in Canada. Each person normally pays their own bill. That's how you meet Canadians. That is how immigrants avoid being very lonely. True fact, I have a number of friends who have never seen the inside of my house or if they have, it was only from the front entrance. That's perfectly normal so new Canadians should not feel like they are not accepted.

wow this is just an opinion video of sorts, but guess i'm proud to live in montreal. i own the last army surplus store here. 1423 st laurent. i love montreal as a city, the food is second to none for all of north america. um, weather is full winter during dec to feb. i also live near magog in the eastern townships which is beautiful.\ni've been to pei, love it there, great beaches and very quiet. never been to BC, and living here, i would never visit the middle of canada, just flat and boring and drugs are a big problem and homelessness. cabot trail in ( i did it on bicycle) is fabulous. quebec city, amazing.\ni'm a proud canadian and surely there are far worse countries in the world to live in. but when i retire full time , it will leave for a warmer climate (snow bird) in the winter. not florida, too busy and not nearly as nice as the Caribbean, i go to Curacao 1 month every winter. perfect weather and being dutch has great food and is safe island and beaches are second to none........

Canadians need to standup about immigration and allowi nh them in.we need to march out to stop them and government to end allowing them in.we will still be a good country because of what we've allowed all these years allowing them in but we can live a better life for those that are here already.

Congratulations for all the hard work and research you 've done to compile so many data and provide a comprehensive explanation of the current situation. I'm an immigrant looking to get my PR, I have qualifications from one of the top universities in the world, experience as an international consultant and most important I do respect the Canadian culture and follow the rules. However, even for me it is uncertain what is going to happen? and/or if the government will make more changes and kick us out hahaha. I do believe that immigration has poured a lot of money into Canadian's pockets and most of them are not considering that, some of that money is going to go to another country who is willing to manage immigration with a better approach and provide a more certain perspective to new immigrants. The government allowed many bad actors (locals and foreigners) to take advantage of the system and those who are going to pay the bill are new immigrants due to political elections, and that is just sad. We will see who are they going to blame for mismanagement of public resources and the possible crash of several industries, that are currently relaying on foreign money, once there are no new immigrants to blame. I agree with most of the new rules regarding immigration, but I strongly disagree with the political approach of how the government is blaming immigrants for their lack of proper management. I still believe Canada is a great country no matter the outcome of my personal immigration process, wish you all the best of luck!
