Ok.. I haven’t any issues with the Indian people. I would however like to see certain things adopted for everyone’s sake. For example; fast food has been popular since the 60’s & 70’s it hit popular because menu items were tested and the way a burger is assembled right down to the condiments was worked out by the franchisers and food experts in the North Americans tastes and preferences. To be uncomfortably honest. I have not had a burger from a fast food restaurant that I truly enjoyed for a few years now. And I suspect that franchisees from India and the preferred employees also Indian do not grow up eating North American cuisine and do not fundamentally understand how foul too much condiments can make an item. And there is seemingly Zero effort to learn how to correctly assemble the products. Quite frankly I would be surprised if the employees that do the work would eat the food they make due to the culinary culture. And if they do.. I doubt it prepared in the same manner as for average customers. I just don’t think mayonnaise, ketchup & mustard are used in India on food. How would we expect them to understand the mistake at all.

With all due respect, comparing US and Canada to European in general doesn't make sense(please excuse my words). Compare them to European countries like Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Luxembourg. And talking about countries with more billionaires, you can only do that on per capita basis looking at the American population as compared to these countries, and with that the statistics has proved that Scandinavia has more billionaires than US and Canada on per capita basis. Countries like Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, France Holland and all those other countries limit you because you're not allowed to work more than one full time job at a time, but in a country like Denmark, the wages are higher and you can work as many hours as your strength can and on top of that you get free healthcare, free education, and a lot more social benefits. So these countries come no where close to a country like Denmark. The language barrier is very valid, but putting in efforts to learn languages of countries like Denmark, Norway. Switzerland is worthy than getting a degree in country like America where inflation is out the roof and debt to gdp ratio is over 90%, having to borrow 3 to 4 billion every month in 2023 to stay afloat.. You need to read more on current state of the US.. It's been predicted that in mid 2024 to the end of 2024 5000 people could lose their job every month due to companies shutting down. This is never a good time to relocate to the States! lol

I've recently had experiences with the US healthcare system through my partner, who is American, and I was appalled. I would challenge that the health care is higher quality in the US than Canada. I saw a complete lack of care, unprofessionalism, incompetence, and a bureaucratic mess the likes of which I've never experienced here. Even the premiere hospital in the region couldn't compare to the level of care I have experienced in the larger city hospitals here. Of course, his care did cost several thousand dollars a day, for which they sent him a bill after sending the original bill to the wrong department to get paid (through his insurance). It was a mess, all during which he suffered, had them come up to 2 hours late with his narcotic pain meds, taking up to an hour to answer a call bell, and generally being the antithesis of care. I am very happy that when we first began our relationship, I made it clear that I would never move to the US, and he was okay with that.. In fact, he's very much looking forward to leaving the country of his birth, for whom he served in the military for 20 years, and moving to Canada.

The thing is, it's ALL priority based, so if you wait, it's because someone needs your resources even MORE than you do. Sometimes, it ends up in a tragedy, but MOST times, it allows for the neediest to get it first. \nAs far as having children here, we have a NEGATIVE birthrate, so our government PAYS us to have children. My son grew up in Quebec, and they have a double everything. Double taxes (not that bad after the tax deductions and credits), but they also Double the safety net and services, compared to the rest of Canada. Not only was childbirth free, so were the pre-natal courses and everything else, AND we got around 1000$/mo in childcare benefits, until he turned 18, with full of tax credits per kid. Plus, daycare was 5$/day back then, it's 7$/day almost 20 years later.. Pretty citizen friendly. \nThings MIGHT be changing though. Our conservatives are taking their talking points from the US GOP since COVID, and they are all-in to please their Oil lobby overlords and donators out in our prairies region. The Alberta Premier is a far-right conspiracy nutcase and her new pet-project is Capitalist healthcare (among her trolley of lunacies). SAME place the far-right rednecks always come at us from. Maritimer here: I remember going to a small town in Maine for my cousin's funeral a few years back (half my family is American), and when we were checking-in at the hotel, there was a couple taking their suitcases out of the trunk of their car. The man had a handgun tucked in the back of his pants, and I remember the feeling I got seeing it when he bent over. It was pure Fear. In my mind, this man could kill me or my family in an instance if he wanted to. To me, that was the scariest thought, it felt so wrong that it was normal to carry a weapon. \n\nMind you, we have guns in Canada, they are mainly used for hunting or gun ranges, and you need a licence, which you need to pass a test if you want to go hunting with it. I guess growing up in Canada made me think that guns are dangerous and should be kept away from people... so hearing about the children's safety concerns around guns.. is probably because to us, guns out in the public is inconceivable... even worse around children. \n\nWhen there's a shooting in Canada, it's not a feeling that is reserved for the town or city where it happened. The country in its entirety mourns, it becomes Our issue. Anyways, I know my response is months late, but I felt compelled to share. :P

There are just not that many options of places to live in the US that are good, especially if you don't want to be isolated. As an American I thought about moving to rural New Hampshire.. which doesn't have city problems, but still, kind of cold and isolating and they might have meth problems. I decided on Miami as a home-base, its expensive, but there aren't many other good options out there.. Living in another country is psychological hard after awhile and dealing with visa issues.. I thought about moving to somewhere like Budapest which is very nice, but if you aren't part of the culture or know the language, its hard.. Its better sometimes just to settle down somewhere, I can't get anything done as a nomad, constantly worried about where I am going to next, living in other people's apartment isn't always comfortable..

Omg.. I am shocked at how shocked Tyler is about people's concerns about school shootings? . I listen to a lot of American radio and media and I hear frequently a lot of Americans talking about how this day and age how sad it is that they have to worry about their kids going to school. Tthe areas that this happens in or that parents are worrying has become more and more not just in certain States and I'm pretty sure I hear of like a mass shooting period in the United States is at least a couple times a month. \nThere's been so many school shootings I can't even keep up with all of them ..

I'm neither American or Canadian, I'm Swedish but I lived in LA and Santa Monica from January 2011 to May 2012 (I went to Santa Monica College) and I have to agree with all the people who say no. My reasons are definitely the health care situation. I have diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol, and medicine for all that and doctor's appointment fees are way to costly even with insuarance (here in Sweden we don't need insurance because our health care is payed for by taxes, and the costs of medicines and doctor's appointments are much lower). Also I'm openly gay and that is much easier to be here in Sweden than in the U.S.. Homophobia is much more common in the U.S., and much more violent.

i'm a canadian. i perceive americans who are not working to change gun laws as suffering from desensitization (they don't know how bad it is) to insanity (they don't care how bad it is)\npeople from every country in the world think your gun laws are insane. you put the profits of gun manufacturers above the safety of your children.\nwe, in canada, probably get more news about your mass shootings than you do, more than a daily occurrence in the u.s.. i have read that the highest cause of childhood death is gun violence, of which school shootings are a small percentage.\ni lived for two years in texas (the things we do for live), brought my hubby home with me, and he did not return.

I am Canadian, I was born here in the 60's, I've travelled around the world, including the US but have always lived and worked in Canada. I love my country. saying that now....\nThe last 10 years for Canada has been the worst ever in history, our government has destroyed the foundation of what it means to be Canadian and has made this country look very bad on the world stage.\nEventually that will change. This currently gives reasons why a Canadian wants to move from Canada.\nYou are right about the US, there are places you can move to that offer quiet, country, safe living but like Canada, those places usually trade the good life for lack of opportunity.. the difference is most of Canada gives you the good life and opportunity in the same place. A good example, Billings Montana or Red Deer Alberta... if you compare the 2, they are close, but overall life in Red Deer would be better.\nCulture has changed thoughts too, I could never get used to seeing anyone other that law enforcement carrying a gun.. I realize Americans have the right to carry guns.... but why? are you being invaded?\nI will pick up a gun if i need too in order to protect my country, but I don't need to prove it by displaying it in public. I personally would in a second. \nI have lived in both countries and hands down it's better living down there. \nExperience living in multiple cities in multiple states.. and living in basically every major city and a lot of small towns in Canada.. I know 100% Canada is not as good as the states. \nAs a Canadian I can say Canada is not what people think it is... they think it's so much better here when they sy that because it's safer.. not better..not remotely.. we are so restricted here to do anything.. own land. .. grate now build something on it. Have fun. Years and thousands just to get a house approved.. the restrictions American people don't have make it that much better. \nFirearms.......... \nI've lived in so called bad areas in the states and honestly I've had way more nonsense happening in good areas in Canada. \nThe states have there downsides but overall way way better. \nMy next plan in Utah or Arizona..
