Lol, Brampton isn't like a city in India, it has indoor plumbing

In a way I'm glad that i don't have too many years left on this earth. I cant stand to see what is happening to Canada. We have given it away. You might as well have a direct bridge from India to Canada. They have come here and demanded their way of life with no questions asked. They have dictated to our politicians what they want -- And guess what. --- Because of the almighty vote they have been given everything they want. I work in a retail store in Brampton and I have never been more disgusted on the lac of manners and respect. They talk to me like a piece of shit and they are the biggest thieves we have ever witnessed . Brampton use to be one of the most beautiful cities in Canada. Now I wouldn't live there if you gave me a house free. They are destroying this country. Stop the immigration from India now -- But I think its too late.

Why pick on Brampton alone? Its no different from.markham for Chinese, Scarborough for Sri Lankans, north york for koreans, Mississauga for arabs and Pakistanis..juwt th local eco system and support systems including food culture.and what a laughable stat, hindu and Punjabis are different from Indians?? And what's with this white lady with barely speaking English and doesn't like to see others? Nobody is forcit her to stay ?

I think its okay to have some stuff of every culture, but some cities are literally becoming India. Brampton was taken over a while ago where every single plaza is indian stores, their places of worship everywhere, their lifestyle etc etc. its fine and all to be proud of your culture but youre getting away from your country to make another country indenticle? A lot of other cities are becoming like brampton, and the ones that arn't are really expensive to live in, ontop of that the highest crime rates in Canada are in these places.

You go to certain immigrant hotspots like Brampton and Mississauga, no one speaks English there ! The main language of Brampton is now Punjabi !

I do agree cAnada is taking way to many immigrants. also people in your video are right about not adapting the culture like they should. canada should higher the level of English u need. I think requirements are pretty low. don’t see any thing wrong with speaking your own language with your people. Many collages and universities have low level of requirements so they can have more international students to make money from. Also you talking about homeless people addicted to drugs that’s there own fault for making bad choices.

No offense but to the Canadian people who are struggling and are homeless or drug addicts they need to fix whatever the underlying cause is. If anything it shows that if you make the right choices in Canada and even in Brampton you'll be successful and able to survive. If you don't see any newcomers struggling then it shows that opportunity is there and even those struggling can fix their problems. I'm not Indian but there're a lot of other ethnicities of people grouping up like Chinese people in Mississauga or Markham also or a lot of Persians in Richmond Hill,etc. there's still multiculturalism just not at a smaller level.

That area near Sheridan college is a nightmare. I used to live right behind the college. We are being taken advantage of plain and simple. I was born in Brampton and it does not feel like it did when I was growing up. Houses with 30 people in them is all too common in Brampton.

Would like to know the high crime rate ,what percent of the crimes is committed by these immigrants or the Indian population in Brampton??

Brampton should be an example of what should not happen with immigration. As a South Asian even I wouldn’t want to live there, all of us know it is a corrupt place and there are similar enclaves all around other Canadian cities and they are in the same state. They get into the local govt, bypass laws and do things to their liking !!

Okay the lady is saying government should give them the opportunity. These guys already here too many and they don't respect laws which you can see when you go to Brampton. And they want more and more of their people here so they can feel like their back home. But there is problem which is people from other cultures don't like more Punjabis here. And the lady is saying government should give them jobs. There are no jobs and they don't get it. It is like this there is one pizza and that is for four people and now ten people are waiting to eat that pizza. There are no jobs here because Canada is not like US industrialized and tons of companies. So what will happen when tons of you won't get job then you will go and put a camp to live and the expenses would come on tax payers if you become PR because you will claim social assistance and then hospital have to treat you. Means the resources would be limited. So let that pizza for four people. India is very good country good weather everything just build your country and have less kids so they don't have to worry in future for jobs.

Indians have a very groupism mentality even within themselves although they are very friendly but for example, a group of Indians who are hindu and vegetarian will not welcome even other non-hindu Indians who may be non-vegetarian to live with them. Sometimes students from same study program also stick together and will not include someone from different program even though they go to the same school. But as a community they look out for each other in that way so chances of seeing immigrant Indians dealing with drugs and other crap that the white people do will be almost non existent. \n\nThe other ethnicities might feel threatened due to over whelming majority of Indians and they group together to voice their concern but those ethnicities are individualistic and don't care about the country or each other. They just get heated up in the moment as they don't see people who look like them. If Brampton was all rich white folks but still with a majority on the streets like San Francisco or NYC doing all sorts of crap , nobody will be complaining or make a big deal out of it. Apparently, that's acceptable.

The point is looks like either you do not need development or economy to be improved. For robbery of $10 in Brampton speaks of people being sick of lonely and lack of basic savings or being lazy. Indians moved for Canada encouraged due to thin population and for the economy to improve and now you have thriving economy and yet you managed to see the racist point of view in multi-culture canada. - Love from USA also from India.

it's not just Brampton on. it's the same here in Alberta, there is whole communities where everything is for them , you can't even look at some neighbour hoods for housing because all the realtors are Indian and the sales are only advertised on their sites in their language and not for sale to Canadians. its a big community where we live and were being pushed out.. There's jobs we cant apply for or get because we don't speak Punjab but yet we have to bend over and are told we are racist if we don't hire them and they cant even speak English. I feel like we are being pushed out of our own country, and Trudeau has even said this is what he wants...

As a South Asian, I agree 100% Brampton is not multicultural , it feels like India/Pakistan. Canada is a great country and millions of people from around the world would come here if given a chance. It is up to the Canadian government to control the numbers. As a brown person, I dont want Canada to become India.

Canadian Born people in Brampton aren't jobless because there are immigrants. They are jobless because they have no education and there isn't a lot of work out there apparently. Crime isn't related to the Indian population. It is related to no work, no education, living in the streets and doing drugs so once again, to Canadian Born people. But congrats for trying to make us feel like the unemployment, crime rate, etc. are Indians fault! You did a pretty good job at giving us that impression!

Transit buses stink! I haven’t been to Brampton in 10 years ! The last time I was there , the bus stunk!! And seemed like I was in New Delhi. I am trying to imagine now. Lol\nMost of friends have moved out of that city!!

This immigrants are mostly from one indian state ie Punjab. In Punjab every young person just have to dream i.e. to move to Canada. Even Indians from other indian state dint want to live in Brampton anymore, Let me tell u most indians dont want to leave in isolated community but want to leave in mixed community with local people and adopting their culture. But ur Canadian govt policies and support towards khalistaani movement make many punjabi people to move to canada. As an Indian, I would like to apologize to the natives. That lady spoke the truth - if you are moving to a new country, you have to adapt and respect their culture so that they can accept you easily. Most people coming to Brampton don't even know how to communicate in English. I would like to share a true story that happened to me. In 2021, I was coming to Canada and I was standing in the boarding pass queue at the airport when a guy asked me how to spell Canada. I was in complete shock. How can you go to Canada as a student when you can't even spell it?

Brampton is a peaceful and diverse neighbourhood. Don't go there if you don't like it. What are you a white supremacist ? Stick to small town Mississipi if you only want to see white people.

Tue there are many Indians. Many do really really well but what do Indian have to do with whites dying of addiction! Majority of the homeless in Canada are whites. Indians on other hand band together and survive. Thats why live appaling living conditions like 16 people living in same house. Since they are willing to do that some land do exploit them. Most of these landlords are Indian in Brampton and Chinese. However most dont complain because they are willing take pain save some money. Rather than complaining white learn that there better ways to survive rather than getting sucked in to drugs.

Sheridan College management visits India to promote Sheridan College, to bring International students here desperately. I strongly recommend to cut the funding for Sheridan College. Sheridan College management, Union and Unionized Employees are all part of this. Sheridan College only cared about their own profit and greed. In fact, I believe Sheridan College's Brampton Campus should be shut down. That will save Canadian Tax Payers money. I encourage anyone to visit Sheridan College Brampton Campus. Look at what a mess it has become. Sheridan College has professors who don't know anything about the courses they're teaching. All the Unionized Employees and Management care about their pay cheques. Most programs at this campus are useless. This campus and most other colleges in Ontario are such a huge waste of Tax payers money. This campus looks like a Punjab College in India. It doesn't even look like a Canadian College.

I live In Brampton and my family is from/lives in PEI at this point , I feel like Indians want me gone from my own country they wanna take it over? I've seen many Canadians suffering because of these non English speaking ants on sugar go home please or stop being so entitled ??

This won't help PEI at all like they claim, if they're given an extension. I spoke to someone from my company who works remotely in PEI and he said he was only there for PR and once he gets it he'll move to Brampton because all his friends are there. I asked is the a normal thing and he said most people do it because it's easier to get PR outside of Ontario. He complains about how boring it is in PEI and how all his friends are in Brampton and can't wait to move there. This is going to be the case for all these people protesting. They're only there for the PR and then once they get it they'll move out of PEI. Ontario is going to suffer more from this.

I am a Islander , And i say put them on the first plane out of our country , They take all the jobs , and there are more of them than us , Our little island is like Brampton Ontario , They need to go back to India !!!!!

Canadians should ask themselves this…how many Indians move to Brampton and collect welfare? Looks like Indians own the businesses in Brampton. That is immigration at its best. Indians appear to add to the economy and prosper. In US Mexican immigrants come to take welfare. Make babies, not get married as then man’s income is part of household and less $$from government, and collect WIC, food stamps, housing subsidies and monthly welfare checks. WTH? uS is buckling under this f*ck*ery. US will give Canada two Mexicans for every one Indian. Be careful what you wish for!

Just be glad there is not a large Mexican population in Brampton. Mexican culture is the lifestyle in the southwest USA. They immigrate and make their new home look like the one they ran from in Mexico. Makes no sense. Indians are like Japanese…highly intelligent with great work ethic. Ive lived in brampton for 5 years. Yes we do have a good number of our people here. \nTalking about temples, thats what indian people do, we are religous. And i dont see anything wrong with having our temples built the traditional way. The city had no issue with it thats how they got permits to build. \nWhy so many of us live here …. Brampton is located very close to all major cities in gta. It has a good public\nTransport network…. A lot of colleges both convenient for the students. And more over the govt did not specify where new commers should go. \nI thought canada was always a land of immigrants from hundreds of years so dont know when they say too many of us here. We came like others…. Did the paperwork… got approved for visa. Students pay 3x the money for the same course a canadian would pay. Its contributing to the economy.

War on drugs is failing the white canadian born in Brampton and from what I gather canada has never really been keen on immigration but I guess they need more people unfortunately seems like its happening to quickly and not really doinng anything to combat drug addiction.

Canada should limit immigrants from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. They all look alike. Real and original Canadians are becoming the minorities in the country. Immigrants from other Asian countries are outnumbered. True Brampton is looking like India and the homebase for scammers.

Crime rate is sky rocketing, car jacking and stealing, and forced home entries and thefts are going crazy!! Thousands of fake students are committing crimes and threatening Canadians! Few other thousands stole tons of jobs from the real Canadians and high school students already! Even Niagara and Thorold / Wellend is screwed up and getting worst everyday by the same people! The Blame goes to Liberals & Justin T. First of all, send back all the fake students back to their country of origin! You'll solve more then 50% of the problem! The outsiders are always an easy target and I presume this is what the prior waves of immigrants like Irish, Italians & Polish faced in North America. While I am a proponent of people whole-heartedly embracing the culture of the place they immigrate to, racist insinuations do harm to the whole society. Most people moving to Brampton in fact create more jobs (Doctors, Teachers, Barbers, Homebuilders, etc.) and increase the tax base for the benefit of all. This is why US & Europe are miles ahead of Japan, Russia & Europe that are not as welcoming towards immigrants.
