I'll believe it when I see it! The Liberals won't, haven't released the immigration numbers so this could be just another Liberal, Carney fabrication. Why did the gov't allow so many people in the first place: to receive votes! That is the only reason!

Canadians have been labelled racists; Indians have refused to adopt the Canadian way of life. They are dirty, rude, blame deflectors in the workplace. I have been replaced by Indians in the workplace due to claims of "racism" just for calling out issues created and perpetuated by Indian colleagues. How many scam calls are we all getting now, how many jobs are we losing to them now, how many incentives are companies exploiting by hiring them just to drive profits now? I have a university degree and cannot get a job after such terrible experiences with these people in the workplace so I am going back to school in order to enter a type of industry they have not 'yet' taken over. Boomer thinking, their voting of Liberals and media brainwashing of "cultural diversity" has brought these issues to the boiling point. Enough is enough! Go back to India!

Peope dont realise this but there is no stopping immigration in Canada. The stock market anticipates huge immigration as it is the only feasible path towards growing corporate profits. If we dont have huge immmigration, the purchasing power of boomers, derived from a booming market and real estate market, will lead to massive inflation as labor shortages occur. There is nothing we can do to stop this. Boomers are going to vote Liberal and liberals will continue to flood the country with third world immigrants who cook, clean, drive, caretake, etc. Millenials and gen Z are the ones who will never own a home or start a family. And ironically the low birth rate will lead to even more immigration. I suspect that Canada will be primarily asian and african by 2060.

It does work… In the end, after 10 years, the liberals won again. I don’t see any reason for them to change their ways if it brings them success in our democracy. The new immigrants make a powerful voting block and as your numbers increase, their power will also increase… And I do think Canada is a very attractive destination, given all the government subsidies… Healthcare, dental care, child care, Pharma care… Subsidized, housing… To say nothing of the special refugee and immigrant programs…

CANADA does NOT HAVE a 'Housing Crisis". The housing crisis is in Vancouver & Toronto, because we let ALL the immigrants move there. But there are a thousand small towns across the country that need immigrants to stop from becoming ghost towns. The failure was in the Liberal Party deciding that getting the immigrant vote was how to win elections, so they let immigrants decide where to go, which didn't help the country. I should know.. I owned a 28-suite apt. block in Winnipeg (not even a small town!) and my property value dropped below the mortgage cost because more people were leaving Manitoba than entering at that time. I heard a person on the Jake Tapper, C NN, this afternoon say all the companies are coming to the USA not Canada, he didn't mention that they come because they don't have to pay a lot of taxes. Us Canadians take great offense that the spawn of the devil wants to annex our country and he refers to our Prime Minister as governor. The orange dumb criminal and his maggots would probably give part of our country to snakehead war tyrant putin who has interest in the Artic and that would involve Greenland. We Canadians don't want to make life difficult for the American people but the dumb evil cheeto likes tariffs. President Zelenski didn't start the war and he won't be the one to start WW3. putin is a war criminal who controls the criminal organization in the White House and it's leader. Canadian here. Wake up Canadians. Many people are praising Trudeau for this speech. Don't. He is out as Liberal leader within the week. He doesn't have to follow through on anything he said. Plus, he just stated that he's smart enough to suggest that Trump just put a 25% tax on Canadian goods for Americans but he also thinks that you are dumb enough not to realize that he just put a 25% tax on Canadians for American goods. Trudeau basically created the situation for these tariffs (open border to let anyone come here). He loves this as he gets to take the apparent moral high ground for the first time in his life and wants this speech to be the way he is remembered rather than years of failing Canada. Forget about the last 9 years and vote Liberal if you are a fool.

Trump is a horrible, horrible human. I am devastated over what he is doing. I've never once given Trump my vote and I'm not a lefty liberal. I knew if he was voted in he was going to cause world wide chaos. He has shown his character over and over and over...yet a large portion of American's just ignored it. This election wasn't about republicans or democrats or independents. This election was about humanity and global security. American's ignored the writing on the wall for their own singular wants/opinions. They stand with their Trump flags but only a few of them can actually explain any accurate information about his policy or legal issues and they condone his behavior. The majority of Trumpers claim to be 'Christians'. Christians voting for a man who is a bully, abuser, liar, predator, monger of power, impedes freedom of press and speech and aligns himself with a dictator. He pardoned violent offenders and called them patriotic, spouts false information, obstructs investigations, has numerous felony charges against him and has now made enemies with our allies. Shall I go on? That's not Christian. Even if you aren't Christian...that's not what America stands for. All for what...eggs? Guns? Cheaper groceries? Or because your need for hating a small group of people out weighs global peace. Or is it because you are so short sighted that you can't even see the valuable contribution that non American born people provide this country. Yes, Biden fell asleep at the wheel. Yet many of you still believed the better choice was a psychopath. This election was important. We failed as a country by putting this man in office. No matter what party you align with, we failed. Yes, I want cheaper eggs. Yes, I really need cheaper groceries. But not over the safety of the globe. Not over the lives of the people and children being killed in an unprovoked war. Not over the safety of Europe. Not over ripping off our closest and favorite country that borders us. Not over losing our democracy and our allies. I stand with Ukraine, Canada, Mexico and Europe and the Gulf of Mexico. You should ask yourself what you really stand for.

I voted for the Liberals in 2015 before I really knew what I believed in. I later voted for the NDP. Trudeau lost my support but lately he’s been incredibly bold and admirable. He makes me proud to be a Canadian.

Nice to see that Canada is still a great smart country we are all happy to be friends with; what really worries us is the country below Canada, since it is run by a crazy old man and his cult of bigotry, ignorance, lies, autocracy and pseudoscience. What have you done? You liberated us from the Nazis in WWII just to vote for their American counterpart less than one century later. When you ALREADY have tariffs in place against the US you cannot claim Trump is starting a trade war. You started it. Now we have a POTUS with the sand to stand up for us not the world. There's many reasons not to like Trudeau up here in Canada, many of which are the reason he'll (rightfully) no longer be the PM next week. As a conservative I hated him for SNC-Lavalin (among other scandals), and the fact that his inexperience with the economy Harper left him is probably part of why this trade war is going to hurt more than it could have, and the fact that he's often been kind of a phony more concerned with looking and sounding good for the press cameras. Not this time. Nothing phony here; I've got to give credit to him for capturing the national mood pretty much perfectly with this speech.
