Indian - Punjabi - Sikh — I don’t know which genius makes such categorization. Either use nationality or ethnicity or religion - why mix them all. This data is spurious. And superfluous. One walk along the street should be enough to see things as it is. My question is this - it was aryan Canadians who chose the governments - primarily composed of aryan Canadians - who invited others to sell the Canadian dream - which is a Ponzi real estate scheme - because aryan Canadians are too cold to make babies. And those who can seemingly can’t raise them into hardworking adults - you guys are bunch of entitled brats who want all sorts of expensive toys and foreign travels and all sorts of Soma without working hard. And you pretend that you are Americans! I am playing Devil’s advocate here trying to throw light a little inward, because not all of us are snowflakes. \n\nAt the end of the day you are responsible for your state. Granted that these immigrants are ugly and irritating and offer themselves as a soft target. But you are pointing your gun in a wrong direction my friend - they didn’t invade your country without someone opening the gates for them. Who opened the gates? And who empowered them to open the gates - for decades? Do you have balls to answer the questions? If not then you are exactly like your prime minister and you both deserve each other. So get your effing act together, and don’t elect a loser who passes the buck as your leader.\n\nI will vote for PP - let’s see what he can do.

There isn't anything wrong with those who immigrate to Canada and adapt to Canadian Customs and Traditions, But when they start complaining about our Customs and Traditions, and want us to change them, then I have a BIG problem with it !!!! Dual Citizenship needs to be outlawed !! You want to be a Canadian, then be 100% Canadian !! If that is too much to ask of someone, then Don't come here, stay home !! Don't come here and take a job away from a Canadian, while keeping your other Citizenship so you can go back when you feel that you're ready too, that's Total BS and Unacceptable !! Become a Canadian and Die here of old age !! If you have dual Citizenship, you migrated here not immigrated !! Canada, Love it, accept the Customs and Traditions, or Go and stay Home !!!! Note: This is my opinion, it is Not intended to Offend Anyone in Any Way.

Great video and hits a lot of real pain points\n\nI for one am leaving Canada, born and raised in Alberta, lived in BC most of my adult life. Sorry but see ya!\n\n1 I am tired of the weather -40 is a no no and most of our country hits it a few times a year. 52 years and this is my LAST winter. What a Relief!!\n2 I am tired of the MASSIVE greed in real estate that has been allowed to flourish. No way most of Gen Z will ever be able to own homes, if the are lucky they will get one passed down to them, shame you have to wait for a family member to DIE to own your own home :( Benchmark prices for home in Victoria 1.2 million, Vancouver 1.18 million, Kelowna 1 million. Very few people can afford a 6k+ a month mortgage. Shame on our govts that allowed this to happen.\n3 I am tired of the degradation of the family unit. Western morals have gone for crap, crime is up and people are happy to threaten each other. \n4 I am tired of the lack of available health care. All i can get is a 3 minute phone call after booking 4 weeks in advance??? wow \n5 I am tired of the people too, but in different ways. Way too much like USA now, people that pride themselves for ignorance, willfully ignoring science and safety or even common sense.\n6 I am tired of the governments, provincial and federal. ALL of the parties suck and will not do what is needed here. We are getting as bad as the USA. (which will soon tear itself apart!!)\n\nCanadians are a LOT more xenophobic than we might show. Most of us from the prairies (Boomers/GenX) never saw anything but seas of white people and native Americans. You probably never saw a foreigner maybe you knew someone that did... This is not the same country i grew up in. Good or bad I do not know, but it is way different!\n\nGrowth and thinking Growth will make a country flourish is a lie, and it destroys country after country. Canada is next. It populace will continue to grow with no room, no jobs, no hope.

I and my wife had a quarel about this particular issue. I am currently in Nigeria and doing well cos I am a Software Engineer and I do remote jobs that pays very well. I have my own house, cars and my daughter goes to one of the best school in town. \n\nBut for some reason she wants us to relocate. She's been hammering on this particular topic for a long time now, and tbh I am very okay with where I am, I live like a king here why should I travel to another land and start licking someone's ass? \n\nI told her if she's persistent on this issue I will send her and my daughter to go then I can go visit time to time. But I am not about to leave my country just cos other people are doing so. My reality is different.

Nice video. I watched it as I like to learn from other perspectives.\n\nI was born in Toronto, and I must say, this “no time for life and fun” is a new thing. This lack of access to health care is a new thing. I agree with your assessment. It now seems lonelier in Toronto. \n\nCanada used to be different because anyone with a good job could afford at least a condo, but life became unaffordable not just for immigrants, but for everyone unless you are in your 50s-60s and own a home. \n\nI have friends working double jobs supporting family back home in other countries, but for some of them the family back home sound like they are doing better than them and own a home. It’s like they are sacrificing their life to be in poverty or full of hardships and their families get to go out for dinners and drinks with friends. Not them. Not true for everyone, but for some yes and I worry about their own retirement because retirement in Canada without lots of savings means you might be homeless or forced to live with family even if it’s not your preference. \n\n without investments and savings, it will be hard to beat inflation. Getting into debt and getting bad credit can mean not getting an apartment. \n\nThe birth rate is going down because it is expensive to have kids and income isn’t enough to match with living costs. Getting help from government is really not something everyone gets access too. One person might get housing support, 10 others may get nothing. Different governments offer different things. Programs end and change often. \n\nIn Canada definitely bargain and shop around for good phone plans. one idea is to get a pay as you go until “Black Friday” then every year or two when your good offer expires there will be many others. It’s the time with the best deals saving almost half. For instance, I have 50 gigs for $25 for two years from a large provider. Telephone companies are the one place where people must bargain and even ask for better deals as a must.\n\nThe people you see living in big houses, will have kids that can’t afford the same. This is because prices keep rising. The system protects the very rich, but will also drain the middle class often within 1-2 generations. Do not link your business to your personal finance, or creditors can take your home. Some not knowing this lose everything and rich people know better. \n\nPeople live until they are very old, so inheritance is pretty much meaningless to rely on, so no matter what your parents have you must hustle in life. \n\nI do think Canada can become what we want over time. Citizens need to fight the trend of great community spaces, restaurants and bars going out of business and dumb corporations move in with bad boring restaurants. Like a McDonald’s where maybe a popular cultural hang out was. \n\nPart of the problem is a lack of mixed income housing areas, so it’s hard to stay living where you grew up. Artists and musicians help make a city great, but many cannot afford to live here.\n\nFamilies and communities staying together means more support for those with young kids and older relatives when they need help. Yet how is this possible in a city that is always pushing out lower income people when wealthier people desire the area. \n\nIn Toronto, every time you move you have to take what is available and that might mean moving an hour away from everyone you know. This weakens communities. Plus, if you live too far from your work you will have no time to socialize for most the week due to travel time. \n\nI think those who grew up in Toronto do have a certain culture of acceptance with others from many cultures, because your friends at school were from all over. But with new migrants sometimes it isn’t until the second generation that their social circles get diverse. This can be isolating and it’s even isolating as those from Toronto eventually leave dreaming of staying in one spot and not forced to move constantly when a landlord investor sells every house you move into. \n\n\nToronto really needs to protect affordability of housing for at least some housing in every section so that people can save money if they live in the city, and not have to leave their communities and be far from their friends and family. \n\notherwise eventually people get sick of the hustle and it’s too tiring to travel 1+ hrs each way to visit someone during Monday to Friday. \n\n20 years ago any professional could at least buy a condo. Not today. There is too much competition now and investors are allowed to buy up all the most affordable housing that once was a pathway to owning a home. \n\nRich policy makers got greedy and destroyed canada and hopefully diversity in leadership will help make Canada better. But they perhaps people knew to Canada can reject this lonely structure and help us rebuild Toronto into an amazing place. \n\nWe need to make sure everyone can afford housing with 30% of their income. I think that will help

It’s unfortunate that you feel this way about our city. In saying this. There is much to be done. Mostly all the red tape at city hall. And wasted tax dollars.\n\nIn a video of a city “you love”. And all of us have our faults, I presume your intention was to inform. \n\nIn a video sponsored by Better Help. And someone who has benefited for someone helping you up. Encouraging others not to come here. Just pointing out flaws. I know you mentioned for 30 seconds that we have parks. \n\nToronto is like all of us. We’re not without our flaws. Yet, sometimes pointing out what’s great (or even just good). You can make a better point for change. \n\nYou’re not wrong. You’re definitely not right.\n\n You could have been though.\nJust like me writing this comment.

Fix the government & stop showing the world that Canada is safe heaven for rest of the world. I have seen Ukraine refugees taking money from Canadian gov later leaving back once the money is finished. I have seen people coming to Canada with Gov 40-50K once that is finished they leave. Safe supply is a joke while government is legalizing heroine. Addicted person will not blame the the drugs. They will always find someone else to blame. Fix housing. Stops Blaming students and migrants for your own issues. Drugs are free for addicts and then blaming for skilled people trying to make it here. They are trying make better life and contribute + they have to pay taxes for this nonsense. What they get is racisms. While US people are straight to your face and tell you everything on your face. But Canadian people pretend to be open. But they stab you in the back.

If people think they can just stop immigration or send anyone back, they are delusional. We need to better vet applications, cut down on asylum seekers, reverse international students back to 20 hours/week work, no one walks in from US and claim asylum. When someone comes to study, the focus should be studying and not working full time. Stop sending billions to other countries and start investing it on our housing, infrastructure and services. Give tax benefits to small businesses and startups. Strict gang and crime laws. Finally, stop giving free drugs to addicts and have better rehab and resettlement facilities. Above all, people have to stop thinking the dumb idea that anyone is being replaced or anything.

Anyone I know is talking about Trudea’s immigration policy , it is not a secret anymore that many of us are very unhappy about the irreversible consequences that the mass immigration has caused to Canada.\nI don’t recognize this country anymore, it is hard to believe that the entry level jobs that were available for teenagers to gain valuable experience are taking right now for international students, rents are high due to demand, quality of services and life in general has been in decline. \nI really appreciate that someone young is spreading the message and telling the truth. \nThanks True North for talking about the real issue…

This interview completely misses the point by interviewing the “wrong” immigrant. Immigrants to Canada leave for the U.S. because Canada prefers “high value” immigrants (e.g., physicians, engineers, scientists, entrepreneurs with excellent track records, occupations that are expensive to train and/or individually contribute a lot to the GDP) that the U.S. would also like to attract. Not only can many of these people make more money in the U.S., but they often encounter more help and/or less restrictions with professional licenses (e.g., most states have an industrial exemption for engineers, and do a better job at helping foreign doctors and nurses get their licenses to practice medicine). How many times have we heard of a foreign professional reduced to driving a taxi or becoming a housewife when they move to Canada because an immigration official didn’t properly inform the immigrant of the hoops they would have to jump through, and the provincial professional association offered minimal, if any, assistance? \n\nThis PhD student (and others with more academic than lucrative educations) may think he’ll have it made moving to the US but I think he overestimates his value. The small liberal arts colleges that may have hired someone with his background are decreasing in number or changing to a more technical focus (usually to computer science because it doesn’t require expensive labs needed in medicine or engineering). American students are now more critically examining what degrees, if any at all, will lead to better paying careers, and I doubt Myanmar is on their radar as a money-making opportunity.

That was best answer\nPalestinian has all rights to stay and protect their lands. Whatever the History u want to plot, Palestinian occupy it for so long, So where the Israel went for some time being, why they left the land without stand like the Palestinian does right now?? Why Hitler have to send them back? It’s man habit right when they find out the land they left is precious than we come back n fight for it?? Someone needs to show the land is Precious?? They are thousand of migrants leave homeland and slowly become belong to another land! Some people keep on using 7 Oct issue as weapon against Palestinian! BUT ISRAEL ATROCITIES IS BEYOND THE LIMIT! Whoever wants to support remember one day the same thing will return to us or our Children because we are allowing ridiculous speechless behaviour. Never saw any war going in this manners.. Every Deed have their own price to be paid off.

Hi chorkor,\nThank you so much for this very valuable information. I think its left for the individual who has already acquired the visitor's visa and with dual intent, to decide if they will bear the consequences of going to the boring locations where jobs are available. Unless someone going to Canada to socialise vs being on a sole mission to work and have something to take back home. Poverty in Africa is real my brother. For most people they have seen the worst in their home country, and they are at a stage where they will accept to work in those 'boring' places. \nEven if there is no 'mad man' to keep one company, at least the remote places have work. That might just be treasure to someone who had nothing back home but raw poverty.\n\nThank you Sir, and God bless you for helping us with information.

I would have never imagined someone would dream of moving to Canada . Simple answer Canada wanted more people because its population was low . Most people live on the border with US. It is however the one of the most beautiful places I have ever been

5:25 this is absolutely true, and I say this as someone born and raised in Canada. It is even worse than you say, and it affects Canadians too. Many organizations have a culture of meek compliance to rules, which may not make sense. Most Canadians try to avoid standing out, and standing out is likely to be seen by your boss and peers as threatening. No one wants to rock the boat.\n\nThese rules and expectations may differ substantially according to the politics and beliefs of the employer. For instance, overtime may be highly encouraged in one place and discouraged in another. But the veneer of handling things in a highly compliant and pleasant way is always there, with a hidden expectation that you will speak positively about the biases of your boss or owner. In other words, the common factor is that bosses often have fragile egos or are afraid of anything that challenges the status quo. This harms critical thinkers and innovators who often leave to the US or China, but also immigrants who have even larger barriers to working within the status quo. \n\nEven among better bosses I have had, I notice this tendency towards intense discomfort with ideas that come from outside of their direct experience. Though at least with my current boss and one other I had in the past, there is an intellectual curiosity and empathy which helps them gradually open up to unfamiliar things (and they're just awesome people in general). But I still notice this bias sometimes. It's definitely cultural.

No surprise there, \n\nCanada is NOT attractive to migrants anymore due to multiple reasons.\n\nSoon a 1 bedroom apartment will probably cost 5000$/month for rent in the Major Cities making it impossible to settle here for newcomers.\n\nThe healthcare system has serious problems due to a lack of Doctors and Nurses who left for better paying jobs in US or Europe.\n\nIf you need immediate Specialist care you will probably have to pay hundreds of dollars just to see someone in the Private sector because the Public Health System has huge waiting lists and is understaffed.\n\nYou won’t be able to get a Government Family Doctor because the remaining ones have thousands of patients already so they’re swamped.\n\nYou can wait even 10 years for a Family Doctor and still won’t get one.\n\nYou can’t be bumped up on waiting lists for Doctors or Specialists even if you are in a critical condition because you aren’t a Celebrity / Politician / Millionaire.\n\nOnly those with a lot of money, status, power get immediate medical attention in case of an emergency.\n\nMost of the traditional medical costs like and eye exam, treating an ingrown toe nail, Physiatrie treatment are NOT covered by the Provinces anymore so you will have to pay out of pocket hundreds of dollars again.\n\nSome Provinces are already copying the US healthcare system which is 100% Private and for profit so don’t be surprised if you you’re gonna have to pay even for an infusion.\n\nThe minimum wage is only 15$/hour in most provinces when in reality you need at least 40$/hour to survive the ridiculous cost of living.\n\nYour typical salary will go 45% to taxes and 45% to rent leaving almost nothing for food / bills / gas / insurance etc. \n\nYou will struggle to make ends meet and possibly starve a week or two every month just to say that you’re “Canadian” \n\nThat is the sad reality but Canada is in a deep hole right now.\n\nUK is in a similar situation too.

So when you enter someone's house in India and they give you strawberry cake because they are a good host . Then you start bishing and complaining and throwing the cake in the hosts face and demanding they give you chocolate. So in India you don't throw that guest out? So us Canadians and country is something to use

I have visited the United States many, many MANY, MANY times over the years. I've loved every single visit. The people are warm and lovely....some of your scenery and historic things were more than a joy to behold Would I ever want to move there ? Not even for a second. In fact, sadly, my husband won't even go back for a visit anymore. This is sad to me, but I understand where he is coming from. \nWas sad to say good-bye to our dearest friends who moved to the US, because the job pay and promotion was impossible to say no to. They lasted 2 months and settled for less pay and no promotion to come back home. They found it so weird, that all the new friends they made, thought they were freaks because they didn't own guns. The final straw was when they learned these people were packing when they came to summer barbeques. That was the final straw, and they high-tailed it home. \nIn recent times, a country run by someone I see as a loose cannon, psychopath...makes it a most emphatic NO.

Yeah job security is an important factor I think those of us who are in IT and have been 'sacked' as someone here in another comment mentioned feel the brunt when you know that Canadian companies are looking elsewhere for cheaper labor. I think it's after something like this happens when you really think about things such as Unions and the seemingly open door to qualified immigrants who would take a lower paid job just to get a foot in the door. Hey, it happened to me many years ago so why would it be different. Interesting times indeed.

Big decision, but so is the world. Have you considered what you would do for a living? I'm sorry I don't know much about your family. \nIf you can work from anywhere in the world, then you have a few choices. Someone suggested Malaysia. I think that is very good option. Its technically advanced, people are kind and warm, living expenses are very reasonable. I have only visited once, but I loved it. Felt completely comfortable (I don't wear the hijab). This was my experience from over 25years ago. \nIf you want to consider an Arab country, I would highly recommend checking out Oman, that is where I am from. I lived in the US for over 25 years, and now I love living in Oman. Its very calm, people are kind and welcoming. Winters are great here, but summers are very hot. Most foreigners who come here, never want to leave. The sense of serenity here is addictive. \nGood luck in your search.

The real facts about Islam ,Muslims should honestly think about \n\n Muslims have alot of trouble debating and arguing certain facts and sources, and it's because Islam was started by Satan , Gibril that appeared to Mahamed , was the devil in disguise . \nDid you know there is a Verses in the bible , \n\n2 corinthians 11-14\nIt says,\nFor SATAN himself can TRANSFORMS into an angel of light.\n\n\nAlso in Galatians 1-8\n But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel OTHER than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s CURSE !!- \nDidn't Mohamed preach a different gospel?? \n\nIf Mahamed new the gospels and these, verses,, he would have been more careful that Gibril doesn't say something that contradicts other scriptures, or the past prophets as muslims\n,will tell you they believe IN ALL THE PROPHETS , so if he heard something he woould have thought,\nif Allahs words cannot change (sura 18 27) \n\nAnd sura 3.3 says \nHe has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel.(ALLAH CONFIRMED THEM SO THEY ARE TRUE) \n\nWhy is this angel saying\njesus didn't die? ? \nAnd Denying he's son of God ???\n The most difficult thing to justify logically about this if Jesus didn't die on the cross,\n they were switched on the cross with someone else, essentially you are saying that God trick his disciples into thinking it was Jesus on the cross, \nso we then believe he was raised from the dead,b/c God tricked his disciplines REALLY , and by tricking his, disciplines he mislead millions of Christians?\n What's more reasonable to assume, God tricked his disciples and millions of people ? \nOr that Mohammed was fooled. \n\nBut poor Muslims get confused because the quran has taken characters of the torah and gospels and put them in the quran to give it historical credibility, and make it look continuous \n But everything the quran says ,is not consistent with other prophets,\n and muslims can't figure out that maybe Mohamed was fooled?? \nThats why they say like\nthere are errors in the torah and gospels , but there isn't , how can there be when you say you believe in all the prophets !!, so God didn't protect the words of his other prophets only Mohameds ?\n\n\nAnd Satan did exactly the samething with prophet Joseph smith in the Mormon Church \n An angel called Moroni , appeared to him and told him all religions are wrong ,I'm here to tell you ths truth. \n And he told him ,there's are millions of Gods and you can become a God , if Joseph Smith knew the scriptures ,he would know there is a verse that says in \nActual,quote- \n\nProphet Joseph Smith, Jr., History of the Church, v. 6, pp. 307, 308 \n\n“If we should take a million of worlds like this and number their particles, we should find that there are more Gods than there are particles of matter in those worlds.”\n\n\nBut.... ....\nIsaha 43 10 says......\nYe are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me...\n\n\nSo he or have used his, logic and thought God would not contradict himself, why is this Angel Moroni saying there many Gods and you can become one, and isaha is saying , \nno gods before or after me..? \n\n And if he knew 2 -corinthians 11-14, that Satan can transform himself into and angel of light, and \n\nGalations,1-8 \n But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! \n\nhe would have realised he is being deceived..\n Now you can understand and follow me ,when I talk about Joseph Smith being fooled and being a false prophet , \nbut because you were raised in Islam and are emotionally involved, you can't see it. \nIf you are being honest with yourself, Satan pulled the same trick on Mahamed . \n\nPROOF IS HERE \nProphet isaha said\nIn 7.14\n14 So the Lord himself will give you this sign: A virgin will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and she will name him Immanuel [GOD IS,WITH US,). \n\nIn luke 1.32 Gabriel says to Mary \nHe will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, \n\nWhy is it in the quran, the same angel that say to Mary\nBehold! the angels said: “O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, (held in HONOUR) in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah. (Qur’an, 3:45) \n\nWhy does jibril In the quran say held in HONOUR ,and the same angel in bible says ,he will be SON OF GOD!!\n-SAME ANGEL SPEAKING\n.-\nIsaha said the same thing? \n\nTwo witness say SON OF GOD jibdil says held in honour (no mention Son of God) \n\nAlso,both the Mormon and Islam, paradise is,never ending sex ,Satan catering to mans, lustrlful desires..\nThe Christian paradise is being in the presence of God ,and the love and energy and colours that flows out of him ,you can look at him for ever , I heard alot of testimonies saying this , this, makes, more sence and is in line with Scriptures \nThe reason I don't believe Angel jibril of Islam and Moroni or Mormism is what they say isn't consistent with isaha,43.10 (where God says no other Gods but me )\nBut when gibril of the quran denies isaha 7.14 (son will be born called God ) \n\nSAME PROPHET ISAHA - so muslims will agree with isaha 43.10 Which makes angel Moroni fake .. \nbut ISAHA 7.14 is corrupted ,they will say! Even though gibril did the same thing ,denied the prophet before him !!! do you see how emotionally involved they are they can't see it ?? \n\n1,John 4 \n Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. \n\nDid Mohamed and Joseph test the spirits?? \nAnd the only way to test a spirit is make sure he is consistent with the gospels and prophets before them, Christians have a reason not to believe jibril of the quran and Angel Moroni ,what reason to Muslims have not to believe in Joseph smith, and Angel spoke and they don't test them ,so tbey should be Mormons?\n\n GOD BLESS, jesus is Lord , pray stay calm and ask God to open your heart if what I'm saying is true so you can see it .\nIf you are wrong and Jesus is Son of God at least on the day of judgment you can say in your defence ,I asked you for a sign and never got it ,its a good plan to cover yourself .. \n\nMuslims ask yourselves honestly, what's more reasonable to assume, that God fooled his disciples and millions of people, by switching Jesus on the cross, \n\nor Mohamed like Joseph Smith , failed to test the spirit to see if it was from God , or Satan ???

Share this argument on the streets,it's heavan sent , don't let Muslims go off topic . \nThe real facts about Islam ,Muslims should honestly think about \n\n Muslims have alot of trouble debating and arguing certain facts and sources, and it's because Islam was started by Satan , Gibril that appeared to Mahamed , was the devil in disguise . In other words, we do not want the Palestinians to live alongside us, this is someone else’s problem
|

Why don't the US and Britian just give someone else's land to the Palestinians like they did the Israelis

As someone from the US, here’s what I will say- you can find a small community or a community within a large city that will fit your needs if you look hard enough. HOWEVER, outside of that community, our larger government will never be the right fit for you, for the same reason you’ve “outgrown”Canada. “We” rarely invest in our own country and citizens, and always have “our” hands and money in other country’s affairs where they don’t belong and aren’t welcome. The government is unbelievably corrupt, out of touch, and is more focused on getting one side to hate the other side than actually making “no-brainer” steps that we all agree on to make things better for everyone. If you’re looking for a place to land for a little while I’d say a place with a Muslim community is fine, but long term your money won’t be going to places that aligns with your morals and values.

Assalamualaikum Brother Will and Sister Sana. I am Kevin Omar Lopez Castellanos. I have donated and commented in the past. If you wish to move to a more Muslim-friendly environment, may I suggest the Islamic Community here in Atlanta, GA, USA? We're still in the process of growing but Alhamdulillah we have made great progress in the past few years. I am a student at Madina Institute in Duluth, GA studying under wonderful teachers who are students of Shaykh Muhammad bin Yahya Al-Ninowy. I am a convert of two years and have found myself flourishing as a Muslim here since I joined. There will be struggles and adjustments, no cap, but I love this community with my very soul. Shakyh Al-Ninowy has a campus in Canada but Atlanta is the headquarters. In my hometown, halal businesses and Muslim environments have grown. And there are programs here that can prove very beneficial for your children Insha'Allah. And if you need someone to introduce you, myself and the Madina family will welcome you with open arms Insha'Allah. And if not Atlanta, Madina has other campuses in the US (Milwaukee & Little Rock). We also have campuses in South Africa, Malaysia, India, UK, and Norway.

May Allah Subhaanahu Wa Taala protect you guys, may He make this hijra easy for you, may He grant you what you seek, may He make you and your chilren from the ones He loves, Aameen! I am from Pakistan and can't ever imagine leaving my country to go live in foreign lands. Alhamdullilah, I feel very safe here. It is a Muslim country, alhamdullilah, although there is a major class of citizen coming up here who'd like it to be more 'open minded' like the West. May Allah protect us from that day. I would suggest that you move to Saudi Arabia, preferably into or around Makkah or Madinah. I believe that these two are the best cities in the world for Muslims. Imagine saying your five daily prayers in Masjid-e-Haraam or Masjid-e-Nabawi! You kids could study there and grow up speaking and understanding Arabic like Arabs. Imagine the understanding and appreciation they'd have of the Quran and Hadith moreover, they'd be able to reap benefits from the work of all major scholars. InshaaAllah. BUT, on the other hand, you guys are Allah's workers there in Canada. You could do dawah, spread Allah's word (you're doing that beautifully already). You'd be doing what the messengers of Allah did. Think of it this way, if you leave, there'll be one less family supporting Palestine and the Islamic way of life in Canada. Maybe, Allah wants someone like you to represent Him there. Allahu Aalam. There's this beautiful piece of Urdu poetry by Syed Sadiq Hussain, it goes something like this ' Tundi-e-baad-e mukhalif se na ghabraa ae uqaab --- Yeh to chalti hai tujhay ooncha uranay ke liye!' translation:- Do not fear the strength of the head-winds (opposing wind) O' eagle -- it but blows only to help you soar higher! All I'm saying is that there's another way of looking at your dilemma. You guys are like a small, bright light in a dark night and can help lost travelers reach safety. Cheesy, I know. Do Istikhara, let Allah give you His suggestion. Follow it and you can never go wrong innshaaAllah. What ever you decide, our dua'a are with you, uhhibukum fi'llah. Wassalam Wa Rahmah!!

As someone in his late twenties living in Quebec, I got to say this is very accurate. I won't say things are as bad as some other people are saying in the comments, but I do feel like the country is going downhill. For me, these are the main three things that feels wrong:\n\n1. We, as citizen, tend to offload every responsibility to the governments. Each election, they promise to handle more, but fail times and times again to deliver on their existing responsibilities. But we still vote for them, because we fear personal responsibilities. They created these immovable bureaucratic monsters and they lost control. They promise new shiny things instead of fixing what is already in place.\n2. We lost all notion of what is necessary. People gets more and more entitled which leads to overconsumption and frustation. Quebecers used to be proud peoples who survived with the little they had. Now greed has consumed our identity and nothing is holder us together.\n3. I feel that jobs are less and less useful to the society. Even I, as an electronic/software engineer, wonder if my job as meaning. I feel we lost touch with the concrete world. Some people have 0 contribution to anything useful and have really good salary and work conditions, while others bust their ass in shitty conditions. I feel like everything that we need is produced/done by a frighteningly small amount of individuals.\n\nBut from what I heard Canada isn't the only country to feel these. It maybe just hit us harder.\n\nP.S: It came out way worst than I initially intended. Maybe it is that bad...

Thank you! I hate that rhetoric why not take them in why not just everyone help them get out. It’s their land that a basically what the oppressor wants for them to all leave. You think they want to anyways no they don’t it’s their place of birth their mother and fathers place of birth their grandmothers place of birth and on and on some Israelis just moved there from the US last year! And it’s their “home” that’s infuriating tbh. People can’t seem to understand if someone just came to your lane and was like I live here now and this my house now that you wouldn’t be trying everything to remove them cmon

The solution to all these problems is not to make the Palestinians a Muslim or Arab country. The solution to all these problems is the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. There is no other solution to this problem. There is another question that people ask why an Arab country or a Muslim country is not giving shelter to the Palestinians, so the answer is that the Palestinians have their own country, the Palestinian country is Palestine and they have the right to live on their land. Is. . I am sure that they will never agree to leave their land and Al-Aqsa Mosque, it is not possible, or the Muslim Ummah will never accept it, and if so, if some people say so. If the Palestinians are made a Muslim country, we can also say that if someone from Europe or the United States gives some of their land to the Israelis to the Jews, this problem will end, but no one will do that because no country They will not agree to give even a piece of their land to any other country and all these problems are only because of Europe and America. We want peace, but if the time comes and our governments allow us, we will support our Palestinian brothers in the jihad against Israel, but we don't want war, we want a peaceful world, but that's all they want. . It will be possible to establish an independent Palestinian state by ending the Israeli occupation. When the Palestinians have their own country, why should an Arab or Muslim country keep the Palestinians as refugees in their country? No European country or America should keep Jews as a shelter, it is not possible and if this cruelty, brutality, terrorism does not end, then know that Israel will have to suffer the most dangerous consequences. Time will not stop if the Muslim governments do not declare war against Israel, then the Muslim people will declare war, and if the Muslims rise up, America and Europe will be in no position to stop the Muslims, but we are not. War, we want peace and this is only possible when this occupation ends, this oppression ends and an independent Palestinian state is established.

Born and bred Canadian here, I just wanted to weigh in on the hospital issues spoken of @ 9:20. \n\nA HUGE contributor to this problem is one that everyone seems to be afraid of addressing; immigration. \nThose of us who have lived here and paid taxes all our working lives to contribute to the health care system are the ones who should be getting the best use of it. \nMake no mistakes here, if someone moves here and works to contribute to the hospital funding, that’s fantastic and I hold absolutely nothing against them using the system they contribute to. \n\nThe problem I have is when they bring their elder family who will never, and have never, contributed to this system. Then they have no qualms with clogging up waiting rooms and doctor’s offices waiting for care that WE all pay for, born Canadians and legal citizens alike. \n\nI know there will be some brain dead folks who want to cry racism here, but it’s simply an observation. If you want to jump on the bandwagon and yip about imagined racism then just keep scrolling

NO, the cost of living in Canada has not *always* been high. For someone as young as this woman that may be true, since people usually say *always* to refer to their own lifespan. When I went to Canada (Toronto) in 1967, it was quite easy to find a one-bedroom apartment for $100-130 . Nothing luxurious of course, but acceptable. Public transport cost 25 cents (!), 5 tickets for $1.00. Working-class salaries were in the range of $100-150 per week. The value of the Canadian dollar was 7% less than that of the US dollar. My wife and I were actors who worked in a children's theatre for $45/week. Slim pickings, but with our approx. $370/month we got along all right, went to the movies, bought records and books,, ate in restaurants from time to time, bought food cheap in the Kensingto Market and got a complete tax refund at the end of the year. There was an air of general prosperity Things have changed drastically over the years, obviously.

My family came to Canada 5 years ago. The main reason was because my dad had been busy setting up a branch of his European company here for two years. He wanted to launch this new branch and then retire early. Canada as he knew it was a good option for him to do this. We even had a house long before we came to Canada. And we now live on the west coast of Canada.
\n
\nFor us, the transition to feeling at home here wasn't particularly difficult. We also had enough experience of what it was like to live in other countries. Canada actually turned out to be a very easy country to quickly settle in.
\n
\nI've heard that Canadians can be reserved, but my personal experience is completely different.
\n
\nNevertheless, I got to know fellow immigrants who didn't find it easy to get started in Canada. In my experience, they were not very or only rudimentarily informed about what to expect in Canada. Their expectations were very high and they failed because of the reality of everyday Canadian life.
\n
\nOthers had similar experiences, but they persevered and ultimately arrived in Canada. Some of my fellow students are international students who are also considering leaving the country because Canada doesn't offer what they were hoping for as a better life here.
\n
\nThe reasons are really too individual in nature to really generalize. I think there should be a lot more help given to people who are struggling with their fate in Canada, because there are enough programs that they could take advantage of but that they never hear about.
\n
\nUltimately, it may help if someone just listens to them and perhaps has some advice, no matter how vague it may be. Those who finally arrive in Canada after years of a long odyssey and find this country something like home are, in my opinion, those who never gave up.

Why would you want to ask that kind of question basically you telling the Arab world to leave their land. I live in US with my AK if someone told me to leave my land, you better think twice. Free Palestinian Palestinian has the right to defend itself.

As someone who lived abroad (Germany, japan, Holland, etc,) people rolled their eyes when I made the same complaints as you. \n\nIt's been a horrendously managed country for decades. European and other industrialized countries make us look like incompetent clowns. \n\nGlad everyone else has seen this now for what it is. \n\nHot garbage.
