We already deport criminals who are here illegally, and it is a very labor intense process.

Finally, an ICE official who is actually spitting facts. Criminal aliens ARE prioritized, and the most serious crimes are top of that list. Any non-citizen who is convicted of a crime that has a possible sentence of at least 365 days - whether the non-citizen served any time or no time at all- is deportable. Two misdemeanors can make non-citizens deportable.

It's cruel and idiotic to deport people who are contributing to the country through their work and aren't criminals! And it's cruel to destroy their families in the process of deportation. Where has compassion disappeared to?

The kind of deportation Trump has been talking about has gone beyond people that are here illegally. Trump has expanded it to include what he calls 'undocumented' migrants. That group includes people waiting for their asylum hearings, DACA recipients and protected status migrants/refugees, and people that have already had their asylum hearings, but are awaiting their citizenship hearings. \nAs for the narrative about 'murderers' and 'violent/horrible' criminals being in our country, it's like....wait...what??? Now, if you KNOW a person is a convicted murderer or horrible criminal, WHY would you allow them into or allow them to stay in this country to begin with? Not to mention, a large portion of the 13 to 15,000 number that Trump and the Right keep tossing out there, are from when Trump was in office! NOT during Pres.
