Old mother India has out spawned its own pond..Its country CANNOT and DOES not offer a future to its people. Thats a failure by any normal standards. What gets me is, just how many millions have just arrived in other countries in the world. Their numbers and communities exported and imported so solidly everywhere. Within 2 years here in the uk, I am sure there are now, somehow more Indians here than ALL the other groups put together. Its astounding to see the indigenous and others be outnumbered by one group (south Asian continentals) in such s sudden and impactful way. With these movements Politics change, voter types, the , the shared future vision, shared cultural norms, etc resources like public transport trains, rosd traffic, shops, hospitals, public spaces are jam packed overall. No more quiet or isolated spaces, just 24hr pushing, shoving, shouting, mobile phone worship and loud speaker, conference video calling (my God this one grates my soul) destroys the respectful unspoken social and shared rule of EVERYONE else somehow, its insane! The place has no time or space to think. Blink and your place has gone. In every sense: social opportunities, place in queues job opportunities(as they set up internal networks that u are excluded from) aka as smugglers and their smuggled, housing bidding, corrupting of housing laws, benefit fraud all massive problems for local authorities and larger government overall. Under clearer terms and better conditions and planning Im with migration as a theme. Mass intinction to enable mass migration lol maybe less so!! Good luck to us all, we need it. I have seen it in my family, how one false case against you can cost you your life. No place is perfect. Honestly, the cost of living is high everywhere.. There is no government of any nation that really cares for the people.. I live in Jamaica, and if you don't have links, survival in this country is almost impossible, and if you should get a job, if you don't discipline yourself to live within your means/ budget, you will only find yourself in debts.. Each nation's economy will get worse.. That's why our only hope is the Lord Jesus Christ.. Maybe it's just the truth of a desperate Canadian economy that needs immigrants to keep fueling the 'aging' Canadian economic engine. These people come in and work hard, odd jobs (not to mention the exceptional skilled ones as well like Doctors, health care workers etc.) which the regular Canadian wouldn't do. I've been in Canada for 2 years without a Family doctor. Thank God, the last 10 different Doctors I met were all fresh immigrants and came to my rescue. Ask your conscience, without these immigrants, you wouldn't be getting your late night coffee at the time Hortons drive thru, no one to take your blood works without you waiting several months in waiting, no ways for universities to subsidize tuition fees for the poorer Canadian students. If immigrants stop coming in, the nice detached home you live in will go down in value, the nice truck you drive will become more expensive, your kids University tuition fees will sky rocket, Canadian companies selling groceries, furniture, etc. Will have lesser revenue and eventually get eaten up be American giants, Canadian companies won't have cheap labour to build those much needed housing. \nNot only question your government, but also question your 'own' people.. Where are they to serve you? Where are the so called patriotic 'original' Canadian Doctors'? They are off to US to earn more money. U think they care enough for their home country?\n If Canada won't, somebody Else will accept these people. I have lived abroad for last 47 years, with god's blessings and grace life has been good, have pension and free medical treatment doctors medicine,i travel to India every year but medical treatment is a scam there and any thing which is simple abroad is complicated in India especially if they know you are living abroad they make it more complicated or scam you especially for medical treatment, traffic in Bombay is terrible, takes hours to move around in cabs , public transport its not possible to travel, so much or garbage around and pollution and the heat and rain its impossible to get out the house starting March until September its terrible luckily September to March can manage in India and its winter time abroad during that time,if it was not for the winter abroad my first choice would be abroad compared to India, people who are used to comfortable life and maids in India can't manage abroad, even I can easily afford a maid when I m in India I do my own house work in India as i do it abroad\nThe millions of Indian who live abroad complain but never coming back for good\nSorry to say indian are the most racist even among themselves caste, religion, State,and 99% of indian are fake and show off much more than their worth

Thank God someone cover this thing. I am Indian Sikh moved here with my parents in 2021 and we are permanent Resident. I am disable so my parents thought it would be a great country in terms of opportunities but you know what I have not get any job because wherever I went for interview, there are so many international students looking for job as well. \nBring a citizen, it’s very heartbreaking that other who don’t have PR , still getting jobs.

My capital gains on investments is around 15%. I get free health care (which while obviously not free - is paid out of my taxes, yet isn't rationed or in-network restrictions, doesn't have copays and cover 90% of my medical needs). I have a government that even at its worst, is orders of magnitude more rational and public serving than the US (and god help you if Trump gets back in). Not to mention a country that doesn't literally have a major gun violence/mass shooting even EVERY FRICKING WEEK, unlike the US.\n\nAnd yes, I live in Metro Van and I have an 850 sq ft two bedroom apt I'm renting for $1250/mo - so maybe the problem isn't simply that the housing market is too tight (which it is), but that you've picked a city in high demand that's boxed in on four sides - ocean to the west, mountains to the north, US border to the south and what little farmland the lower mainland can sustain to the east. You could, of course, move elsewhere in Canada like Edmonton or Calgary, but yeah...not whiny enough, I guess.\n\nSorry, you're entitled to you views of course, but I can't help thinking most of your problems are self-inflicted... so yeah, move to the States.\n\nI'm SURE it'll work out better for you....

Not only is it it impossible to live here, there are no resources unless the government gets something from it. As an indigenous child who grew up in foster care my whole life, there was no indigenous foster care homes for me to go to and therefore my culture has become traumatic for me. My OWN culture has major trauma related to it and my foster care agency would NOT help me unless I moved to the reservation after I aged out the THEIR system, which was not applicable because they were the ones who traumatized me. When I turned 19, I was expected to have it all figured out, I was not allowed to remain in my foster home afterwards without massive paper work and thank god my foster mom cared about me because without her, I would be on the streets with nothing but a garbage full of clothes. I moved out on my own with the help of that family and my agency said they would help with things if I asked. As of the economy now, I did ask them. I asked them for any help at all and my social worker LITERALLY ghosted me and stood me up, even at my plea for help. You would think this is just my case but there are hundreds of cases like mine with even worse endings and what Canada has done with this information is nothing. Foster Care in Canada for indigenous youth is the 2000’s way of Residential Schools and I am EXTREMELY lucky to NOT be homeless and dead. Many of my friends in similar situations are dead or homeless and I have no hope for Canada, it’s an extremely depressing reality.

I came to Canada when i was three years old in 2000 & i haven’t applied to get my citizenship even tho i could’ve along time ago. I am 26 years old now & after 24 years of being raised up in Canada, I finally have gotten my citizenship about 2 months ago to be exact just so i can vote out this BUM of a prime minister we have in the next election. God i hope he loses.

As much as I don’t like the guy, it’s misguided saying it’s only Trudeau. Is he the solution? Not likely, but it’s a start. The issue is accountability from the provincial governments who have low voter turnout, and are allergic to investing in diversified transportation or fixing housing, or immigration laws, and taxing rich people more and god forbid they update their labour and health system. So much of these issues were present for years before he was elected, because the country just voted to get out of the recession and cut a ridiculous amount of funding. The Harper years were terrible, people forget that. He wanted to ban abortions. That’s the future his party wants. I think they need a coalition government, badly and to turn it on the provinces to come up with plans before asking for money.

I'm born in the UK to Serbian parents, but grown up in Norway so I've seen three different cultures in my life all at once. I always liked Canada for being diverse because then I wouldn't have to switch between being English, Serbian or Norwegian, I could be more me because I am basically multicultural. For years I've idealised Canada and it wasn't until just two weeks ago that I got to visit and see for myself what Canada is like. I was in Toronto and also in Vancouver visiting a family that moved there from the UK I hadn't seen since I was a kid. I loved the nature (Especially Vancouver my god!) and the people, but I learned about how extremely expensive housing in Canada is to the point that it would be hard to make ends meet just renting a place let alone buying a house. Also how immigration is out of control and those who do come to Canada are disproportionately from one country being India rather than many different, which is not good for maintaining diversity. This is something I saw having lived most of my two weeks in Mississauga just south of the airport.\n\nI hope you guys finally get someone better in the next election, because I have more hopes for Canada than I do for the UK. I bet another reason the government would rather have rentals is they usually pay twice the property taxes that homeowners do. That can amount to tens of thousands a year difference in tax revenue for each and every property on a street. Sad but true.....\nStill I have to agree with the high immigration numbers. It seems I've always had a general idea of what a Canadian looks like but the past years I'm regularly seeing people that look Chinese, Indian, African, Arab.... all kinds of ethnic looks calling themselves Canadian.
