Trudeau has taken the Multi out of “Multiculturalism” Canadians and Indians have different values and if we Canadians mention this we are shamed and labeled as racist. I have a few Indian friends and they even say that immigration to Canada from India has gone out of balance. Many Indian people don’t assimilate into western living and many try to find loopholes they can exploit. I don’t like that Sikh men can bring daggers to places like the gym, it makes me feel uncomfortable working out beside someone with a big knife. Indian people wearing a Turban don’t have to wear helmets when riding their motorcycles. If a white Canadian took a big hunting knife into a gym they would be escorted out by the RCMP, and would be ticketed and fined for not wearing a motorcycle helmet. While sitting with one of my Indian friends he mentioned how he would hate to be me, I asked him why, he said as an Indian he can do what he wants and if I say anything I’m shamed and considered a racist. ??

Canada is in a state of emergency, and we have a mentally ill unstable, out of touch Prime Minister in crises in need of treatment who needs to be FORCED to face the facts.

OFTEN THEY LEFT THEIR COUNTRY TO LIVE IN A BIG CANADIAN CITY. IT IS CLEAR THAT THEIR BEHAVIOUR SHOULD HAVE CHANGED TO ADAPT TO THE LAWS AND THE CULTURE OF THE COUNTRY. BUT TRUDEAU LIED TO THEM BY TELLING THEM THAT THEY COULD LIVE HERE IN ABSOLUTELY THE SAME WAY AS IN THEIR COUNTRY OF ORIGIN.. NOW, THE REACTION IS HERE. CANADIANS NO LONGER TOLERATE THESE FOREIGNERS WHO BELIEVE THEY ARE AT HOME AND THINK THEY CAN IMPOSE THEIR CUSTOMS AND BEHAVIOURS THAT ARE DISTURBING. TRUDEAU AND THE LIBERALS HAVE TRANSFORMED CANADA INTO A BALKANIZED COUNTRY MADE UP OF SMALL TERRITORIES ALL FOREIGN TO EACH OTHER. THE FUTURE OF THIS CONFETTI COUNTRY IS SEEN IN WHAT IS CURRENTLY HAPPENING IN THE UNITED KINGDOM WHICH IS EXPERIENCING AN EXISTENTIAL CRISIS. WITH ITS MULTICULTURAL POLICY, BRITISH POLITICIANS HAVE DROWNED THE NATIVE ENGLISH PEOPLE BY DENYING THE PERVERSE EFFECTS OF THIS POLICY. TODAY THE COUNTRY IS ON THE EDGE OF A CIVIL WAR. My dad came to this country in the 80s; I was born here. I had a lovely childhood in the 90s and 2000s. My parents bought a house in suburban Toronto with just a high school education. They sent us to public school, which was perfectly good. I was looking forward to buying my own house, etc. I loved this country. Even back then, people were reticent about being too nationalistic. But I was PROUD to be Canadian even though my parents were not born here. I thought of myself as Canadian, I sang O Canada proudly, I celebrated Remembrance Day in a solemn way even as a child, and I would have died for the country if we had been at war. \n\nWell, not anymore. I don't recognize this country after years of Trudeau. I can never buy a house here, the cost of groceries is burdening me, and the younger people in my family can't even find part time jobs as students. People are increasingly rude, crime has me on edge, it's congested. Freedom of speech, which was taken for granted when I was very young, is dwindling away. Churches have been burnt, Trudeau has incited hatred against people who disagree with him. I'm actually moving to the USA to work there, so that will ease a lot of these issues. (I know it's not perfect down there, but having spent a lot of time there, I can see many things are better). But I'm sad. I'm sad for my family that still lives here. I'm sad that the country I once loved is gone.

Canada has not been the same as it was 10 years ago, why I say 10?, because life in Canada before Trudeau was great, people were happier, Canadians were proud to be Canadian and Canada was a place many people wanted to visit and immigrate to. Since Justin Trudeau has been our PM, Canada has become a terrible place, housing prices have doubled, cost of living doubled, pretty much everything in Canada has doubled including crime and drugs. After reading a few of these comments, the main take aways are, there are a lot of immigrants, things cost more, healthcare is a mess and inflation.\nI am sorry that things are hard, the costs of everything are up everywhere in the world so good luck in gentrifying other nations and making your problems their problems.\nIt pains me to no ends that after things get tough in Canada many are ready to jump ship for better softer areas where they will trash the place with their incomes creating inequality there as well and then blaming the mess that they will create on the indigenous people that they will abandon for better pastures.\n\nAs a Canadian of native ancestry I never had it anywhere as good as many of the people here complaining about their middle class woes.\n\nMaybe if you fought for a change, like more housing to bring down the prices and fought corporate greedflation and gouging, realizing that much of this problem, the attack on the healthcare services, much of it being done by the conservative governments, then perhaps you would not be so annoyed with Trudeau.\n\nHe is not helping the housing problem by not building the 2 million new homes that he said he would but NIMBY people are making this difficult. I am Canadian born and no longer live there because of the things that are happening there. I live in rural USA now. Things are not perfect here either but they are better than Canada. I'll be retiring in the next few years. I've lived here my whole life, and loved my country. Trudeau has destroyed it. I'll be retiring in another country as well. I can't see how we're ever going to be able to undo the damage he's done.

Welcome to the ex-pat club. I left Canada 14 years ago. Talking to people I still keep in touch with in Canada I realize just after Trudeau got in power that Canada has changed. I suggest if you plan on a move do your research on where you are thinking of moving to. Do not rely on a vacation as they are very different than actually living in a place. I speak from experience. Do I get homesick? Yes but right now I would not even think of moving back to Canada. I am very settled and happy living in the EU even with the problems here. Some things to check out are various cities or towns in various regions of a country, healthcare, schools if you have children, cost of running a car (petro, insurance, etc), price of food, utilities, etc. If your work papers or degrees are accepted, what visas you will need. Once you have made a decision, start learning the language. I could do it anyone can do it.

Hi Guys,\n\nI did live in Canada for 10 years and I left because of the cost of living.\nI had my own plumbing company and before I left I closed down my business and worked for a plumbing company full time and they paid me $42/h\nAlso my wife was making $32/h\n\nWe made decent money But Trudeau took half of it.\nMy car insurance was $4700 per year, rent for a bungalow just the top floor (3 bed 1 bath) $2400 in Calgary plus utilities plus we had another family renting basement, bungalow like apartment building.\n\nIt’s not worth it, I am a plumber and gas fitter (red seal) well educated individual with 20 plus year experience and my wife is social worker with 20 year experience and we both speak fluent and English. I have lived in Canada for the last 15 years. Great country. I have had opportunities here that I would never have had in the country I grew up in. Sure, Trudeau has rogered the country, but it will recover once he is voted out - that's democracy. It is better than the alternative - ask any Russian.... Things are no different in the UK or US or Australia or New Zealand....

I see no potential anymore to stay in Canada. Where we live matters and how we vote determines the quality of life where we live. Canadians embarked upon a journey of progressivism and the WEF version of life with Trudeau to arrive at a destination that is very different to what was promised. Highly predictable and warned by many, Canadians chose this and the path to recovery will be a long and difficult one, if taken at all. I'm retiring this month. Trudeau has literally destroyed the Canada that I loved and cherished and having lived in 5 provinces. Thinking of leaving also where quality of live, affordability, safety and access to health care is not an issue like Portugal for example. We are being taxed to death in Canada.

Justin Trudeau and the liberals have destroyed this Country. I was born and raised in Canada in a town in Ontario along one of the Great Lakes Lake Erie. My parents and even their parents were born and raised in that same area I am from and Canada was a great place but since Justin Trudeau become PM everything started to change and not in a slow unnoticeable way it was fast. Drugs and homelessness started to become a thing something I have never seen in my life and even my neighbourhood and town started to change too with people that don't speak english and wait times in the ER started to be so much longer and even finding a doctor when I moved to the city was impossible to get. I have not traveled much only in a car or truck and never been on a airplane but I am considering moving out of Canada too. I am going to wait and see what happens in the election and see if things begin to charge before I leave the only place I know and start new somewhere else. I have been thinking of Southeast Asia like Laos or Thailand because there Canadian funds are worth something and you can live and at for very cheap and get a very nice place for half or less of what rent is here.

Alina, I truly empathize! Millions of us Canadians do. While he's not entirely responsible for Canada's decline, Trudeau's government's immigration and economic policies in the last 9 years have certainly exacerbated Canada's housing, inflation, health care and cost of living problems. I don't know if electing the Conservatives will improve things much, but they can't possibly do any worse.

It's all fine and well that you want to leave Canada but where will you go that's any better? After all it is your choice. The problems we see happening around the world are a global problem. There are at least 2 major wars going on. Inflation is rampant in most countries in the world and we ARE heading for a global economic depression that will dwarf anything that we've seen in the 1930's. Speaking for myself my roots are here in Canada which is not the Canada I grew up in anymore. Sadly. Used to be a really great place to live until Trudeau and his band of thieves ruined it. I may as well make my last stand here. If I was going to move where would I go. The EU? Absolutely not! They're tanking. America? No effing way! The American empire is collapsing. Along with the FED note. South America? Don't think so. Most S. American countries are iffy at best. Australia? No. They're nuts. New Zealand? No. They're struggling badly and people are leaving there in droves. Africa? No way in hell. So that doesn't leave very much. Antarctica? Little on the cold side. Few amenities. ;) May as well stay where I am and take my chances. Better the devil I know than the one I don't. If you're serious about moving out of Canada be sure to do your due diligence and research about your target country. Grass always looks greener on the other side but many times isn't once you get there. One place that I AM attracted to is the Azores. Beautiful place. Friendly people. Good climate. One drawback is that I don't speak Portuguese. And I would have to be independently wealthy. After a certain amount of time out of the country I would lose my Canadian pension. It's said that where we are is where we're supposed to be. I may as well take my chances, make the best of a crappy situation and stay here. There really is no better or worse place than Canada. The majority of the countries in the world are struggling with their own problems. I'm not willing to jump from the frying pan into the fire. One of the biggest reasons I want to stay in Canada is that if it does come to a nuclear shooting war it would be very unlikely that Canada would be attacked. So here I'll stay. For better or worse. The LIberals won't be in power forever and if people have the smallest amount of sense, so few will vote for them in the next election that the Liberals will lose party status. I fervently hope that happens. ;)

We moved to Canada from the UK 20 years ago because we saw what was coming. Unfortunately the situation in The UK is coming to Canada too. We too may have to consider moving again especially if Trudeau gets back in. That will be the deciding factor. Yes Canada is an incredible place to live but it’s rapidly changing and not for the better. It’s not the Country we moved to 20 years ago.

3rd generation here, I can retire next year as long as I leave Canada. If I remain, I will work until dead because it is so very expensive and getting more so under the cult of climate change. It pains me to witness what our governments have allowed to happen in our communities. Drug abuse is rampant, mental health is staggering, youth are medicated, gender confused and climate terrified. A homeless shelter for drug addicts is being built less than a 4 minute walk from my home which is in a seniors park....we will all be victimized by theft and vandalism. We are also divided thanks to trudeau who has labelled and categorized us so deeply he ran elections based on divisions. We are no longer the kind polite people we once were. Churches burning epitomizes the moral or lack of moral ground we live and act upon. So I am moving next year to central America, Panama most likely...I can afford to retire there, never need to heat my home nor worry trudeau is going to ban my furnace and my car. It saddens me to no end for I have grandchildren, 5 generations, of investment in this country.

Still plenty of opportunities in Canada? I watched and saw more than a few vloggers like yourself wanting to leave Canada. A few stated costs of living and shrinking opportunities. If you are a person with a good job where you are living, I would not encourage him/her to migrate to Canada. It used to be a great country, but not so much now, with slowly in decline; Neoliberalism and Trudeau and gov. has ruined it.

We are in the process of leaving Canada as well. Possibly permanent. We have come to Canada 22 years ago. We can live a good life with even one minimum wage when we first arrived Canada. It was a dream land for everybody. Today, we are double income professionals in Saskatchewan and still feel living standard is poor. Grocery price is 5 or 10 times as when we first come to Canada. However, salary of average family barely increase. The spending of government is just out of control and make everybody poor. Canada is on a rapid downhill path since Justin Trudeau become Premier Minister, I can't see this trend can be turned back in a short time.

Canada is a failure because it doesn't utilize its mass resources and it inflated the economy and let in ways too many people in too short of time which made housing some of the highest in the world. Its hard to do business, taxes are high but see no benefit, and nearly 1/4 canadians work for the govt living off actual productive people. Its the perfect combination for a collapse with Trudeau

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that when you let the amount of new immigrants into Canada in the last 3 years that exceeds the total immigrants admitted in the prior 10 years, you are going to see major shelter inflation. Couple that with a low-interest rate policy post GFC and leave rates for that low for that long and you are going to witness an epic housing crisis. But not just that - these new immigrants become fodder of cheap labor that pushes out our very own Canadian citizens from these positions, with the more marginalized ones ending up on the streets. \n \nThere is a Motel 6 in my neighborhood that has been taken over by the Canadian government and converted to temporary housing for new immigrants. All paid for by Canadian taxpayers. Why isn't our own government using these funds to fix the housing crisis, or help it's own citizens with more affordable housing but instead they continue to exacerbate this problem by letting a huge wave of immigrants that overwhelms the Canadian infrastructure. More proof? Notice more locked up goods in your local stores? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that when you let the amount of new immigrants into Canada in the last 3 years that exceeds the total immigrants admitted in the prior 10 years, you are going to see major shelter inflation. Couple that with a low-interest rate policy post GFC and leave rates for that low for that long and you are going to witness an epic housing crisis. But not just that - these new immigrants become fodder of cheap labor that pushes out our very own Canadian citizens from these positions, with the more marginalized ones ending up on the streets.\n\nThere is a Motel 6 in my neighborhood that has been taken over by the Canadian government and converted to temporary housing for new immigrants. All paid for by Canadian taxpayers. Why isn't our own government using these funds to fix the housing crisis, or help it's own citizens with more affordable housing but instead they continue to exacerbate this problem by letting a huge wave of immigrants that overwhelms the Canadian infrastructure. More proof? Notice more locked up goods in your local stores?
