When I walk into the local Walmart I feel more like a stranger abroad because I don't understand what people are saying because they are all immigrants and refugees.\nI'm no racist, but having the government impose this on the population is such a disrespect. The health management situation was never fixed and we pour in multitudes of refugees to clog it even better. A few years ago clinics changed their way of getting an appointment because waiting rooms were overfilled with refugees! It's now so hard to get an appointment it stresses me out to no end! The silver lining in this is that I have not much more time to live. You can have the country. It's not mine. Things weren't like this in my youth!

Im Canadian. Indian immigrants work hard, unlike refugees who get free money.

I remember when all of Toronto was complaining about all the homeless living in the parks and that was before the refugees so what happened back then because the homeless doesn’t like the homeless shelters is because they don’t want to be told what to do and what time to come and what time to go to bedand a lot of the refugees that apply for the refugee system. Try to hurry up and get off the system and get a job and start working, but these Canadian homeless have been homeless for a long time begging for a long time.

Muslim in modern family is like any other family but as for muslim refugee they are easy to be manipulate by their muslim leaders. This so call refugee the moment they get inside 1st they will keep quiet then multiple fast then covert people around them then will start protest for not allowing their children hijab in school or college, then they will start saying muslim in this country is more caz this country supposed to be a muslim country.?

As a immigrant who recently got Canadian citizenship, I would like to clear few things here. I noticed that the host of the show has some wrong perception in his mind for international students. I agree that the basic jobs should be allocated to the young population or elderly population and international student should sustain themselves, but on the other hand why don't' the colleges charge the same fees that they charge to domestic applicants ?...the international students pays 5X to 10X the fees that the local student pays for the same courses. Also, when the student applies for visa they already pay 20000K to a Canadian bank for the future monthly payments that they will get so sustaining is not a problem. most of these students work so that they can contribute to the 5X fees that they have to pay. Also, when it comes to skill, the students skills are assessed by the universities and colleges and only after that they come to Canada. If you see an immigrant working in Tim Hortons or Food basics, don't worry he will be out of there in 2 years to a high paying skillful job that local population won't do. Now, when I say all this the immigration problem is real, but it is not because of the student who comes here, pays higher fees and than work in Canada, pay higher taxes and contribute to GDP and economy. your problem is with refugees and immigrants who are brought in mass immigration, who does not have skills. Because this is the population which you brought with to match the labor shortage but can not work so you provide them subsidies, assistance etc. and dig a hole in government funds...…now for the host he seems to have an agenda against Indian immigrants in particularly. I don't mind that though we are used to it. I don't hate him but can he make a video for other countries as well ? how Many Chinese students who didn't even past the language test come to Canada to study and drives expensive cars even without working a single day ? how you bring a immigrant under refugees status from any country to match labor shortage, but who also has 5-7 kids which means you get 1 guy benefiting Canada with 5-7 person who will take benefit from Canada?.....

The Liberal party has turned Canada into sh*thole. Canada was built on immigrants but the system has been completely overloaded and taken advantage of. Refugees are being housed in hotels wracking up hundreds of millions in costs. And the international student loophole has been completely abused. Before Canada would allow highly skilled / educated immigrants to esteemed universities. Now we let in double the students and most of them are in diploma mills which they get out of and end up taking up every unskilled labour position, pushing thousands of Canadians to the street and making it to where kids can’t even get summer jobs. And letting in this massive increase of immigrants has only made our housing situation even worse. We’re building half the homes than people we’re allowing in. The whole thing is a sh*t show

hi, would you please lend advice about the new humanitarian refugee family with kids government housing programs, especially in Ontario, also is it the real thing or just a scam to get immigrants? also, can you do local research on its cons and pros this would help us a lot we are a family group of 21 women, and men, and our children have good statistics according to an immigration advocate who requires 7600$ pay if we get our visa in 60 days as the fact we are foreign residents in Egypt because of the war against Hamas terror.

Listen as a minority person who is proud of my heritage but grew up here with immigrant parents who were given refuge in Canada, I can understand immigration. But...its getting out of hand, most of them are from India, most of them have homes in India and often return there for long vacations, These are not refugees or a diverse spread of peoples coming here. I am not hateful in any way but sometimes you have to tell it like it is, A lot of these people are not adapting to the culture here, why? Because most of them are grown already and are used to their own customs, with an ever increasing population now living here they don't really feel the need to learn or adapt because there are less regular Canadians. When I was in school it was already pretty multi-cultural and diverse although yes in my area there are less asians and black people, we had a lot of European(Serbian/Romanian) in particular. Now I go to the store and it's like 80% brown/Indian people lol, even my neighbors, most have moved out and more indian families are moving in. My city is expanding into like a mini Toronto when we can't even handle it, people cant even find jobs, people need all this other stuff, Its just too many all at once, crime rates have gone up over the last few years, this doesn't help anyone, immigrants either.

Almost all asylum seekers and refugees are fake just getting through back door because is easy and welfare cheque is waiting and other generous hand out while real people who need our help is fighting and dying in their country because they have no money to buy their way in by paying the smugglers

Trudeau is a sneaky guy. Immigration is not the problem. There’s a lot of immigrants coming into this country but later to find out that there immigration status is rejected and they get sent back home to where they came from originally. So now the new loop hole is they come in this country not as an immigrant but as a refugee so they can get their Canadian citizenship a lot easier. Can’t kick out a refugee, that would be inhumane.

I moved to Canada as a child with my parents 41 years ago. It isn't just inflation and cost of living that is the problem. It's the dramatically increasing racism and discrimination, even against people who have been living in this country longer than the racists discriminating against them. Seriously? This is not the Canada that I came to as a child, grew up in, or have lived and worked in for many decades. I made the mistake of working around the world for a short time and picking up an accent that wasn't even mine originally. I had a Canadian accent before finishing elementary school. To come back to be asked to go home or 'we don't want your sort here' is not just simple racism, but hatred that makes me regret ever having agreed to taking on Canadian citizenship. My kids and grandchildren have Canadian accents and were Canadians from birth. But should they leave and return to the same crap??? What disgusts me more is that the PM dares to include immigrants with refugees, under the banner that 30% of the population are immigrants. Under the law, refugees are temporary migrants and usually nothing more. To bundle immigrants who came to Canada through legal means of applications, brought hundreds of millions dollars into Canada with them of their own hard-earned money from their own countries, to have it taxed out of them, and their families deliberately put into poverty so Canada can fulfil its 19th century-PM Macdonald immigration policy of, and I quote from a Canadian federal government website, quoting PM Macdonald directly, about breeding out the Indigeneous people, is beyond sick! The refugees get a free ride at the expense of hard-working Canadians, 90% of whom came from immigrant stock! What happens when Trudeau says these deceitful lies about legal immigrants is that the racism and discrimination increases dramatically. I have been left in agony in hospital due to evil racist Canadians who thought that my accent meant that I had just flown in yesterday and what right did I have to be there? Police refused to charge a neighbor whose son was threatening the life of my grandchild because the neighbor works for the CRA! Other people have the same complaints. Democracy? What democracy, oh, and please spare us Mr. Trudeau the claim to be a constitutional monarchy, when most don't want the monarchy as a head of state for Canada! I have been honored to have known, still know, and will know in the future, many good, hard-working, caring and decent Canadians, but Mr. Trudeau, can you explain to me, how many of those were actually of immigrant stock and how many have forgotten where their families came from? Canada used to be a good country, but when a person has to keep explaining where they got their job experience from and if they have any Canadian experience for every time that they look for a job in their lifetime in Canada, something is very wrong with Canada. Most jobs in Canada are blue collar and very few are white collar, yet Canada still continues to deceive the world into believing otherwise. Canada is a great vast and beautiful land, but only a small percentage of it has any infrastructure, roads, or homes sufficient to house what is a decreasing fraction of society. Refugees take preference over immigrants and citizens alike. The lie about the homeless is getting bigger. Most homeless Canadians today are veterans, elderly, disabled, mentally ill, poor, and professionals and trades people, yet Canada brings in countless professionals, claiming that their education and experience will get them into the professions that they are coming from. It's all a scam! Canadian education is not the best and yet people with better educations and job experience are being forced to spend all their money to go back to university or college to get jobs that they rarely will be hired for. Canada is not short of doctors, just short of professionals who hire professionals without using discrimination, hatred and racism for their HR kit! Many taxi drivers are doctors, engineers, and so on. So, please stop lying to the world and tell the truth. And no doubt this entry will be taken down because it offends a Canadian who doesn't want the world to know the truth.

It's hard to find a job in our graduation and experienced area. I'm not talking about refugees, and family enconters. I'm talking about the immigration program for qualified workers, about people with MBAs, master's degrees e and more. I'm going back to my country because I can see and sense that it's not gonna get better. It's unfortunate.

No person in his sane state of mind will ever consider to move to Canada now! I moved here 22 yrs back through the immigration point system and I'm desperately planning to get the hell outta here. Trudeau and his corrupt policies has destroyed the Canada that I loved till a few years back. All he cares about is filling his Voter bank and has brought in so many refugees that cannot be housed unless he taxes the average Canadian. I think everyone is missing the point here. I Don’t support Israel’s retaliation, but I wondered why the Arab world has not taken in a single refugee. Poland didn’t condone Russia’s attack by taking in hundreds of thousands Ukrainian refugees. If Egypt, jordan, Quatar, to name the immediate Arab Neighbors would rally together to get the women and children out of harms way, surely the outcome would be better for these poor people. \n\nSadly this is not the case and it appears as though this conflict will never find a solution, as long as both parties are not able to set aside their millennia aged quarrel, acknowledge each other’s deep roots and belonging to the same land, and accept that they both come from the exact same bloodline. The exact same seed of a man named Abraham. Both parties need not to like or even tolerate each other, but they both need to respect each other’s right to co exist within that space. I’ve heard some disgusting vitriol from both sides, honestly. Both sides have and are behaving like animals. Infact animals are more civil, as their disputes are settled in a more humane manner, without the casualties within their communities. Yet, despite being created in God’s image with the ability of sophisticated communication, both sides are unable to get past their own hurt pride, at least for the sake of the innocent lives that have and continue to be lost on BOTH sides, to finally squash this matter once and for all.\n\nGrowing up I had a cousin . We both were the only Sons of our respective immediate families’, born to identical twin sisters, 3 months apart. From\nA young age everything was competition between us. Who ran faster, jumped higher, threw further. Every thing we did, and we spent a lot of time around each other, was constantly turned into a “who does it better”. This resulted in us usually throwing down as one of us, feeling like we may be on the losing end of any given task, would just get frustrated, and start soccer punching the other. And my cousin and I from the time were off the diary to the day we both matured, would THROW down. We would literally just start throwing punches at each other, it was honestly impressive how we both would manage to land equal amount of hits to look like literal bloody hell, and guess what, even those fights became competition as even our dads would throw money with the others pitching for their favourite. Fortunately, our moms, the only adults in the our community, looking back, people would just pick a side and watch as go at each other, than pull us off each other, would come stomping out of the house grab each one of us by our ears, gives us a good smack in the back our heads and sit us down, look each one of us straight in the eye, and say something like, “cut it out, you two are family, more brothers than cousins” they would demand that we both go hug it out, have a bath, if we managed to do that peacefully then we were allowed to partake in dessert that evening or allowed to stay up a little later watching tv, or whatever . My point with this overtly personal analogy is that both the Palestinian and the Israeli sides should be dragged off each there by their figurative ears pulled, sat down, scolded and reminded of their ancestrial ties to each other and to the very same land. \n\nBe honest with yourselves, some how amongst all this hate, vitriol, unnecessary death of innocent lives, are you, and those you rally with be truly ok with your opposing side coexisting harmoniously beside each other? If the answer to this question is no, the other side can not have any claim to this land and needs to be removed to god knows where, if not off the earth all together then it’s your people, not mine, that are doomed. We’ll still be chilling in North America, horrified at the unfolding events but chilling nonetheless. Although it somehow claims to not be doing so, the actions of Israel demonstrate a gruelling callousness towards Palestinian life or right to life, and the staunch calls of the constant pro Palestine protests, calling for the eradication of Israel, none absent of a deep, hate and disgust towards the Jewish people. Both are in need of serious internal reform. Honestly as a complete outsider, SHAME ON BOTH OF YOU. I don’t care who started it, or who said or did what, at this point it is imperil that this end immediately. And as an outsider, I think it’s is important that pressure be applied to both sides to put their weapons down. I don’t recall the last time anyone even mention the Israeli hostages, putting any pressure on Hamas to do the one thing that would definitely appease the Israelis. In the same breathe, Israel needs to be further pressured to stop being so trigger happy and lay off of it. \n\nI can only hope, I guess. I completely agree w this man. Ive worked my ass off for 30 yrs already & even w my private health insurance thru my FT job Its still gonna cost me between 12& 15 grand to get my teeth fixed. Its life threatening & caused by a bone disease that I have no control over but the Gov't wont help pay a damn cent. (Btw I drive 2hrs a day & sometimes sleep in my car overnight & shower at work cuz I cant afford the cost of gas to drive home every day.) \n@ 45 Ive been forced 2 deplete my retirement savings & move in w my Godparents cuz I can't afford rent anymore.\nI drive an 06 Honda Odyssey which is hangin by a thread & Im grateful AF for it.\nBoth my parents served in the military. A combined 30 yrs in the infantry. I did 7 yrs in Army Cadets & was going 2 join the army after high school but I was diagnosed w a bone disease & couldn't pass the health & fitness screening.\nMy point is that Im a hard working, tax paying, polite & damn good citizen. I take care of my neighbours. Coming from someone born and raised in an arab country. They DO NOT let civilians living under terrorists in as refugees. They don't like extremists either. Their people always come first. It's why you dont get citizenships even if you're born there. He doesn't want to say that. Pains me so deeply. I work at a Hotel. Without going into detail, we house so many refugees from Sudan, Nigeria, Ukraine etc. completely for free. They are all lovely people for the most part don't mistake my meaning, but I seldom hear of such programs addressing widespread actual Canadian citzen homeless housing, nor have any of the refugees at my Hotel been Canadian citizens born and raised who were granted asylum. \n\nThe other day I had to kick out a homeless gentleman from my hotel who was sleeping in the heated stair-wells. My manager instructed me to contact the non-emergency police number and get them to escort him out and/or possibly trespass him. He was compliant, not rude and understanding and wasn't causing any property damage or bothering anyone, nor consuming drugs or anything of the sort. It pained my heart and it reminded me of the risks I may face in the future considering how fucked the housing is.\n\n100%, and I mean 100%, of the new employees we've hired in the Hotel are Indian students here on student-visas, or refugees (many Ukrainians and one African lady). And 0% of the people being housed at my Hotel are Canadian born citizens. Disgusting mess of a country with all thanks owing to J.T.

Getting ill causing a month long stay in the ICU left me homeless as living paycheck to paycheck causes once the cheques stop , I was placed in a Toronto homeless shelter 3 years ago and I can tell you that African refugees enter a shelter and no more than 3 weeks later are housed usually 5 at a time all Getting a fully paid market value 1 bedroom apartment average price $2,600 monthly that with a monthly welfare cheque and free food dental medical prescriptions clothing WIN WIN WIN the Canadian born homeless shelter residents get put on a 38,000 name waiting list for Ontario's drug infested housing ghettos the Africans are being housed under a kept secret program called COHB secret from us Canadian homeless that is and I've witnessed this now at 5 different shelters I've been in, having befriended one of the African migrants who is a little unstable drinking alcohol and smoking pot so he hasn't been housed but he has shown me the paper work that has been housing his fellow illegal immigrants and I say illegal because they all came as visitors only to claim asylum as soon as they land he also told me they all borrow the money for their plane tickets from a gang who once they land and start instantly getting welfare have to send half the proceeds back to this gang in Africa for the next two years , in this shelter donated clothing comes in everyday and two African shelter residents fold and sort the clothing taking all the name brand clothes what they didn't hand out to the other Africans they walk to the post office and ship it back to Africa I'm not making this shit up after we complained to staff which also happen to be made up from the Africans themselves yes they've hired wolves to watch over the other wolves so they now aren't walking out the front door everyday with garbage bags full of clothes at least not in front of our eyes DON'T CALL ME RACIST I know that's the go to word when this insanity is made public , what do you think is the first thing these Africans do when they walk into their free apartment? Make phone calls back to the friends they left in Africa saying Get on the next plane to Canada free apartment free food free clothing free medication free dental and free money every month Canadians need not apply

They literally flooded Local 183 labor union with fighting age male ukranian refugee's and let them in for 1$, ive paid nearly 800$ TWICE to get into the union since i phased out once as a kid. If there's some crazy war why are all these 27-35 year old soldiers coming across the world from the Ukraine to work CANADIAN construction jobs.

Fix the government & stop showing the world that Canada is safe heaven for rest of the world. I have seen Ukraine refugees taking money from Canadian gov later leaving back once the money is finished. I have seen people coming to Canada with Gov 40-50K once that is finished they leave. Safe supply is a joke while government is legalizing heroine. Addicted person will not blame the the drugs. They will always find someone else to blame. Fix housing. Stops Blaming students and migrants for your own issues. Drugs are free for addicts and then blaming for skilled people trying to make it here. The guy at 17:30 is telling the truth. I've heard endless stories about not being able to get hotels in GTA for as far out as 1.5 hours away and even in small towns like north bay becuz refugees r living in them or booking the rooms before they even land. Apartments are a whole another story.

If you wanna see where they're hiding the rest of the family refugees I'd be looking into the hotels that are half filled. When I was working in mississauga I couldn't barley even get a room to stay for work.

immigrants are doing job which you look down upon or never qualified for . Immigration is messed up now but your drugs problem , family dynamics, looking down on odd jobs , or not getting a university education has nothing to do with immigrants. A good amount of Palestinians wish to go outside of Palestine at least just during this war either to stay and keep their family safe or to go to the hospital or to eat and get a complete and proprr shelter. So i still believe that Arab countries (don’t come at me i’m in Morocco and I absolutely wish that my country gives shelter to the Palestinians ) have a responsability in welcoming Palestinians as war refugees then when it ends do their maximum to bring them back solidify their rights and reconstruct Palestine

It's a double edged sword. The industry (fast food, food retailing, services) WANT those people, be it international students, refugees or other to work because there is insufficient response from the local population of young people. Even certain restaurants and hotels had to remain CLOSED after the pandemic, because they could not find enough people to work. The government covid money dissuaded the local population from working. It is a huge mistake to admit so many Indian students attending low-credentialed private colleges and then allow them to work 20-30 hours a week. Trudeau and Miller are to blame for this. But at the same time, there was a labour shortage due to the ageging population and the fact that people have fewer kids today. Canada should give greater priority to trained professionals in areas where there is a need, such as construction, education and nursing. People in India, China, eastern Europe and other countries can get very good training in technical colleges, but it is the wealthy families in these countries that don't want their kids working these jobs.

The Palestinians do want to leave…is that a joke? You think they really want to stay there and get killed? They are trying to exit through Egypt but they won’t let in any refugees. It’s disgusting that the Arab world will not help the Palestinians and take in refugees.

Who gets paid..? A COUPLE OF THOUGHTS.... Lets say you have 500k spaces for international students...each space is worth..hmmm 10k NOW this government is saying that they are capping the number of international students...these international students MIGHT GET INTO A BIDING WAR over those 500k available spaces.... SECOND thought....So, you have a cap on say 500k international students...MY PREDICTION...trudoo's government will RE-BRAND OR RE-DEFINE those individuals in excess of that 500k cap. Great speaker, but never answered the question about refugees because no one wants them. Except Canada. Also the Palestinians never owned the land, and I get that Israel had and still is stealing the homes of Palestinians that lived on the land and displacing them with illegal resettlements which is disgusting but God gave the land to Abraham 3000 years ago.
