I wish that all indians should return back and let the Americans show intelligence in software development....\n\nVery annoyed to see our people had been chained like a convict..\n\nIn india , how many foreigners are living you know... In India the terminology would be more offensive, “lower class.” \n\nFor my graduation, I applied for my mother’s visa (my mother, who became a widow at 39, raised us under great difficulties with a meager pension of INR 350. She had not gone to school beyond 5th grade and she had no ancestral property, not even a red brick in her ancestral home. \n\nMy mother’s visitor visa was rejected and to this day — I am in my 70s now — it hurts me that she was not present when I received my PhD at Berkeley, one of the top-rated int’l universities. They rejected her visitor visa probably because she had nothing to show as her assets in her application. \n\nBut later. with me getting a job here as a research engineer in a large corporation, my mother visited the US five times. \n\nNot only that, even my older brother and sister in law got a ten-year multiple entry visitor visa when the came for my daughters wedding. \n\nThe point I am trying to make to your mostly upper middle class internationally well connected viewers is that visas are ALWAYS a privilege, never a right, no matter how well placed and well connected in your home country. you cannot come here right now, we have people here who are struggling too. I’m sorry that your country isn’t safe or has a lot of problems, but people in the US can’t afford groceries either and the gov doesn’t help the homeless, disabled or elderly enough as it is. No one should be entering the country until every single homeless citizen has been given whatever appropriate help they need and a place to live. Until our own poor citizens have been given sufficient amounts for food. Some elderly US people get $23 in SNAP monthly and are expected to eat and survive on that, while illegals are handed cards with $800 on them to eat with. How is that ever ok? \nSome of us are existing on like $600 per month, we have veterans living on the streets. These things must change before we can help anyone else. I am not unsympathetic to your cause, but I see too many struggling citizens right now that I have to care about first.

Why travel elsewhere? I have lived and worked in 12 different countries and figured that India has much more to travel and see within...Not many countries can match the diverse landcapes; Himachal/ Uttranchal, Kerala, North east, Goa, Rajasthan. I've been to the states many times! My opinion is that Americans focus on wallets more than social issues! Americans care more about their own circumstances than working together to help the whole of the population. No one likes to pay more taxes but they are a nessesary evil to be able to pay for health care, public security, and so on! So sure Americans don't pay as much for some things but pay more for things that they shouldn't pay! Health care is something that is very important, how can you be expected to pay for health services if you can't work cause you're ill, doesn't make any sence! Even Americans leave thier country because of what it's becoming! 50- 100 years ago everyone wanted to immigrate to America or Canada, now a days everyone is immigrating here to Canada. Should I have to explain why! It's sad but the U.S.A isn't what it used to be. Mostly because of corporate greed and the influence it has on the gouvernment! Just look at how Trump is running things. A country isn't a bussiness, it's a people, without the people a country is nothing. Too bad Trump and his billionaire butt licking friends can't see that!

The U.S. government decided to deport illegal immigrants, though some may see this as a positive move.Apart from this, many other decisions have been horrific. Nobody anticipated that things would go this far, straining relations with Canada and Mexico. Ultimately, consumers like us in the U.S. and Canada will have to bear the consequences.I am asking—who is ultimately going to suffer? What can the government really achieve in just four years? This seems like a systematic way to devastate the U.S. economy. What about us, the consumers? Nobody in the White House or any government office is addressing this. Why isn’t the President talking about the impact on consumers? Every generation will have a very different life if they grew up in any metropolitan place. My grandfather came to Vancouver 1896. His family of five lived in garages while he built houses. No communication with the outside world. My father went to war in 1940's and experience things many will never see. He worked in Vancouver his whole life. My generation saw the first home computer, cell phone and color TV. and the internet was born. I was always taught hystory in school. My kids tell me , they don't know how people lived the last 100 years other than first nations people, and historical figures. Its not taught. They have no idea how people struggled to survive. My kids and their friends are fascinated by the pictures I have from the past 120 years in Vancouver. People now want everything. They are not willing to sacrifice life style. Even my own kids feel this way. Luckily i taught good values and work ethics to my 3 daughters , so they are very successful.

Canada has been recruiting for the armed forces here trying to entice more woman to its ranks. This includes air force. There is nothing about not having trans in military not having value. The Navy trans as a woman is not a woman so when did he/she transition, Before or after. I’d like to see the requirements if mental fitness before the transition and after. Beside getting breasts did he go all the way with removing male organs? If not then it’s more a dress up issue. I had supported the deportation of undocumented people with criminals records back to them own country, but Mr T is deporting undocumented people who are working in industries that many Americans will never work, and treating them as criminals, placing them in airplane chained and hand cuffed. Also, a interesting fact is, he is only targeting people from Central America, Brazil, but a lot of undocumented immigrants are from Europe, Asia…maybe because they are not “brown people” like he once said, let us see what will happen when the prices of some services and products start rising, how citizens will react.

I can't believe that so many young children can be seen here! That's such a dangerous situation for parents to put them in! Apply for citizenship the right way so you can bring your family safely! Then, when your family is here with proper documentation, you'll be able to raise them in security without fear of deportation. I hate to see children going through this. They're at the mercy of their parents' judgement & things could be so much better for them if they weren't dragged through traumatic situations like this, just so their parents can cut corners. Why in the world can't you apply for citizenship the proper way? If your criminal record is the reason that you can't, well that's on you. If there are records of you pulling crap like this, you'll probably never be able to get here the proper way. Instead of choosing to be an actual American citizen, you'd rather choose to live your life as a fugitive & force your kids to live that way too? Give your family a real chance here by following the proper process to become citizens. You'll get a very different reception here.
