I first want to address the rumour about human feces and dirty diapers being found on Canadian beaches, and I want to stand up for the people who called out Indians for doing this. This practice is not only unhygienic. It is ILLEGAL in Canada; so, it absolutely should be called out publicly to prevent it from ever happening again. I have seen many videos about the culture of mass open defection in India. The videos I saw were posted by Indians themselves. One of those videos was a TEDx talk done by a woman named Sangita Vyas who discussed the truth about open defecation and that it is not limited to only the poor population. Even people who can afford to build latrines are not using them, and she explains why after interviewing Indians to ask why. I've watched Indian doctors talk online about how many Indian children die from something as simple as diarrhea every year as a direct result of the water contamination caused by open defecation. So, clearly, open defecation is legal in India, and perhaps some of these people think if it's legal at home then it must also be legal elsewhere. WRONG. It's illegal in Canada. It's unhygienic. It should never happen. Period. And there is NOTHING racist about a Canadian saying this out loud and reminding people that they must follow the rules and laws of the country they are in.

Let's get real here, these international students do not contribute significantly at all to Canada's economy. They are a drain on food banks that locals need for survival. They are a drain on our economy because 90% of them are sending most of their paycheques back to family in India. The schools mostly are fraudulent diploma mills that are not providing any real world job skills that are useful to Canada or Canadians and 90% of Indian international students who enroll in these colleges do not even attend. They come only to work for dollars and send money back to India. Meanwhile the cost of living is extremely high due to the housing shortage caused by excessive Indian International students. It should be very clear now, Canada and Canadians want all these Indians to leave Canada and return to India as stated in the temporary resident visa. If Canada cuts down on those selected immigrations but still takes in refugees, it’s only going to make anti-immigrant sentiment worse. Selected immigrants are allowed into Canada to help alleviate Canadian issues…or at least people who come through Express Entry are less likely to become a burden. On the other hand, refugees, given their unfortunate circumstances, really need to rely on a lot of social services and resources to help them resettle. The US has eliminated pretty much all non-humanitarian immigration that’s why immigrants are so demonized there. Americans only feel the drags of refugees and asylum seekers (even though ethically we need to protect them) and there is no selected immigration to balance that out. Yet this round of Canadian policy change is heading exactly that direction.\n\nIt used to be international students in Canada are not paying a lot more tuition than Canadian students. But Canadian universities saw how much money universities in the US are making so they asked the federal government to change the policy to enable them to charge international students several times the regular tuition (whereas in countries like France, international students actually pay less than citizens). So now Canadian universities rely too much on international students to operate and it becomes an exploitative relationship even before students step foot on the campus. The new PGWP eligibility is awful because students can make contributions in every field. It might (and that's a big if) address the pressing problems, but it won't help Canada grow.\n\nI thought the new language requirement was interesting. Some Canadians who immigrated decades ago when the bar was really low still speak English poorly and now they are saying people can’t come to Canada because their language skills are not sufficient. Another point about language is if you apply through Express Entry now, even if you scored the highest language score, given how competitive the pool is, you still won’t get selected. So it’s a given that you need to be fluent in one of the languages at least to get an invitation. Express Entry also selects only the top people, I saw the head of The Institute for Canadian Citizenship in interviews talking about those top-tier people only expect the best treatment/lifestyle when they come to Canada. That's why many of them leave after seeing these Canadian problems play out. But I believe a good Canadian life is not about living in a high rise in Vancouver and Toronto, driving an expensive car, or buying luxury items...it's about the communities, nature and middle-class comfort. I lived in Montreal for two months to improve my French and I was told by my homestay family that I was the first student they had who didn’t complain about the cold (I wish the winter never ends so I can skate or xc ski in the parks year-round). I have probably seen more Canada than many Canadians and I love every bit of it. But the opportunity for me to even get a shot to move there is pretty much nonexistent now. I'm a US citizen living in Honduras. I'm sorry, because this is unrelated, but I want to let people know..... Today I was condemned to fight cancer alone. When my cancer was discovered for the first time, it was because I had seizures. Because of this, I can't drive. Because I can't drive, I can't get a decent job in The US. For a spousal visa, you need to have a certain amount of money. I don't have it. No matter that we have it together - being the citizen, that responsibility is solely on me. A humanitarian visa is $730, and only good for one use. We can't afford that. We went for a tourist visa, with a emergency appointment. They approved the emergency appointment, then promptly denied my husband's visa, without even asking him WHY he wanted to go to The US. Fighting cancer alone is exhausting. Why is that not a good enough reason for my husband to go to The US with me? Only for my appointments. Why is that not good enough? I guess he'll meet my family at my funeral, but not before.

Never posted in English (with no input from Canadians including Canadian colleges/universities). \n⦁\tNo more IELTS spouses in Canada. Anchor babies. \n⦁\tNo more Canadian housing being scooped up en-mass as investment vehicles by, and for, foreign nationals. With 'slumlords' charging way too much for rent. \n⦁\tNo more foreign protestors on Canadian streets demanding permanent residency, when they don't qualify for PR (which was never guaranteed). \n⦁\tNo more foreigners asking for Canadian asylum THAT THEY DON'T QUALIFY FOR. \n⦁\tNo more visas being used to illegally cross into the USA from Canada. \n⦁\tNo more social hierarchies popping up at Canadian workplaces that divides people into groups based on their ancestry, perceived purity or worthiness, and birth. \n⦁\tNo more tech support scams, phishing, and identity theft scams linked to foreign countries. \n⦁\tNo more major auto theft cartels shipping stolen car parts to lower Asia and northern Africa. And no more foreigners speed racing on Canadian streets causing injury and sometimes death. \n⦁\tNo more Canadian charity services being recklessly advertised on social media by foreign nationals (and not in English or French). \n⦁\tNo more dealing with those who won't blend to a country’s way of living, including rules and conduct norms. Unfortunately now, Canadians are dealing with far too many people from a very low-trust society. \n \nSupport the country you live in … or live in the country you support.

Mex Prez Sheinbaum is right. The drugs flow from and thru Mexico BECAUSE AMERICANS BUY THEM to consume them. Duh. Business success requires a market and Americans are the market for these drugs. Tarriff exclusions are a carrot and stick, which will bring businesses and entire industries to heel. Corruption is going to flood the zone, as Trump threatens disaster after disaster, and makes everyone bend kneees and open wallets to get out of it. Bezos' WaPo policy is a canary in the coal mine. DOGE will also be used in this fashion - in addition to being the world's biggest crypto scam: nothing will shoot crypto prices up like cutting tens of thousands of civil service jobs and replacing them with blockchain + AI, forcing mass adoption. If that sounds like conspiracy theory, this is Musk we are talking about - blockchain and AI are two of his favorite techs. The non-agency is named after a crypto that was nearly worthless - until Elon hyped it in 2020, manipulated the market, and is now worth 54 billion while having no inherent value. Much of that came as Trump endorsed crypto and Musk endorsed Trump. If you don't want your Federal funding cut, talk to one of Elon or Vivek's shell companies. If you want a tarriff exclusion. If you don't want your workers' families deported . . . the list goes on and on.

As far as the drug problem... only drug addicts want them... freeze all internal accounts that can be traced to illegal drug activity acquisition these accounts and use the funds for rehabilitation housing and education of the victims of drug addiction

Most of the goods used in America are imported, all fruit and vegetables are picked and farmed by immigrants. Just wait for Trump and his tariffs and see if you will be able afford your food. Everyone here hates Canada, it’s so sad to see, I’m an American who used to live in Compton USA, and let me tell you the gang violence was very real my uncle Rick was killed by a drive by incident while buying a pack of cigarettes and he wasn’t even the target. He walked right into a gang war, because of this we left and moved to Canada, best decision of my life because now I live in Mississauga, and here I don’t have to worry about the gang violence and drive by shootings, I can raise my two girls here in safety. I love America and I am a proud American but I would never ever want to live there after everything me and my family went through. F*%c that. I’m happy living in Canada. Best country in the world.
