tyler i don't think u realize how bad the usa education system really is. i'm canadian but have lost count of the number of usa teachers who have complained about how bad they are held back from teaching kids properly, how kids can't be failed or held back, how kids graduating gr 12 can't read or write past gr 6 level. in fact recently there was a statistic put out that something like 60% of ALL americans cant read or write past gr 6. considering all your universities that is terrifying. not to mention with gun violence, straight up violence among kids and at teachers, the disrespect and the severe lack of good parenting, kids are not being educated at all. u yourself have done videos on where someone interviews americans and asked them questions about canada and they haven't got a clue. not one clue. yet canadian kids are regularly taught all about their american neighbours. are kids know more about america then american kids do and thats shameful. u need to do some research on this because unless u live in a rich gated elite community and go to private school the public education system in the usa is very dismal and woefully inadequate. \nalso he's right about politics. here we can discuss it rationally and then move on to other topics. in the states ppl are shooting ppl over differences in politics. beating ppl up trashing their cars and property etc. and many police are definitely not presenting themselves with professionalism tons of racism going on. and so many police because everyone is armed. here in canada we are not allowed handguns and pretty much ppl only have hunting rifles. it takes a lot of work and clearance not to mention time and money to take the necessary classes and get the necessary permits to even own a hunting rifle. in the usa show a drivers license and wait 10 days u have a handgun no matter how mental u are. therefore u need way more police than here in canada. i think u have a well to do upbringing so u have not and do not see the true picture of the america u live in. \nalso i have talked to many american friends who had insurance and still cost them about $5000 per birth of a child. with good insurance and working full time. so thats about average. here in canada u pay nothing except maybe parking for hubby while he visits.

Well nothing like that, I live in Canada and can verify that. Problem is quality of immigrants, especially student is trash in Canada, Australia and Europe. They come to shady universities for studies, work full time both legally and illegally rather than studying and at end of their education, they have a fake degree with zero value. Just like most of the new graduates in India who have a degree with no practical value. \nIf you have a good degree, right skills in tech and some experience, there are tons of opportunities in Canada. I cuss Canada everyday but that's because I lived 10 years of life - studies and work in USA. So whether I move to Canada or any other country in the world, I would do the same as US has no equal in the world. I lived in US for 10 years, then India for 3 years and came to Canada 3 years back. I would still move to India after getting Canadian citizenship, but not because Canada has something bad or India has something exceptional to offer, but because I want to live with my parents in India. Thats the reason I left US but came to Canada to get a backup.

I do think India is gaining every way. And developing fast. India’s education system is. Nothing to sneezed at. Generally all Indian and Asian families who have come to Canada are always the top students in schools . But whenever there are economic problems, they blame it on immigrants instead of acknowledging their shortcomings. I almost moved to the US with my parents when I was a kid but was crying because I didn’t want to go. I am so glad that we didn’t move there. We don’t want to go there for many reasons, free healthcare, a good education system because we pay our teachers well and have good quality teachers, we don’t carry guns and don’t want them, thereby our streets are safer. We don’t have mass murders, school killings and all that fear. We don’t have the racial and ethnic prejudice that there is in the US. I have travelled a lot for my company and personal to the US. I was scared and didn’t feel comfortable at all. We know so much more about US geography and history and the US knows nothing about us. Complete ignorance. Well I have no plans to ever visit again. I love our people, our freedom and our culture. We are nothing like the Americans (sorry). I am staying in my beautiful country! I feel safe and happy here! We don’t want the American dream, we are living the Canadian dream!

American trade accounts for only 24% of its massive GDP. if you removed all trade from america, it would still have larger economical output than china, mexico and canada COMBINED. yes. In america its about 13% so a 25% increase would cost more but it wont have any significant impact.\n\nNo doubt this tarrif war will cause far more problems for canada mexico and china than america. Good. Less immigration is what all Canadians want. I’m the child of immigrants I believe immigration is a good thing. But not the way it has been completely ruined by this government. Our country is flooded with low skilled immigrants. In addition the mass immigration and rapid demographic change is not incentivizing immigrants to adapt to Canada. ( eg see any corner in any town in Ontario and see how much of the immigrants speak English). If eveything is Canadian then nothing is. I want our culture not to be dissolved into nothingness.

As a young Canadian-born adult who applied to 40-50 entry level jobs and still got nothing, I strongly support prioritizing Canadians over immigrants, temporary foreign workers and International students. If Canadians are struggling to find work, then it's no surprise newcomers would also struggle to get a job. Canadians on Canadian soil must take priority. The problem with the way things have become here is that now people that have immigrated legally to Canada and are citizens are now becoming targets of hate and violence. I agree that once the visa is expired people need to go and honor what they signed for. We are also punishing those people who have done nothing wrong. This is really scary to see in our country. Hold government accountable for what they have done and ourselves accountable for who we elect and how we treat other human beings. We are all humans no matter skin color or where we are born so be kind to each other. Yes they need to follow the rules we have but we also need not be hate filled and violent, that is not what a Canadian is.

I am a Canadian. Moved to Houston and lived there for eight years....there is nothing pleasant about living in the United States. Sorry but you guys fail even the basic courtesies of life. Was relieved to get back to Canada and get rid of my sidearms! Hospitals and clinics in the U.S. want proof of insurance or they can refuse to even look at you! In Canada no clinic or hospital can turn you away....and we have the Good Samartan law here...meaning you can't be sued for helping someone in an emegency. I actually knew a person in Houston who made her living suing people and companies just because it was easy money....try that here...lmao. To sum it up....living in Canada has the most appeal for me. Now, 2025, I would not even cross the border...too dangerous...trump tards everywhere and who knows when you will be on thier target list.

I've written similar comments elsewhere that were automatically deleted by the person who posted the video, and I found that disheartening. I first want to address the rumour about human feces and dirty diapers being found on Canadian beaches, and I want to stand up for the people who called out Indians for doing this. Somebody saw something. Maybe they weren't able to produce any legal proof of it, but they clearly saw something, and there is nothing racist about them calling out this behaviour. This practice is not only unhygienic. It is ILLEGAL in Canada; so, it absolutely should be called out publicly to prevent it from ever happening again. I have seen many videos about the culture of mass open defection in India. The videos I saw were posted by Indians themselves. One of those videos was a TEDx talk done by a woman named Sangita Vyas who discussed the truth about open defecation and that it is not limited to only the poor population. Even people who can afford to build latrines are not using them, and she explains why after interviewing Indians to ask why. I've watched Indian doctors talk online about how many Indian children die from something as simple as diarrhea every year as a direct result of the water contamination caused by open defecation. So, clearly, open defecation is legal in India, and perhaps some of these people think if it's legal at home then it must also be legal elsewhere. WRONG. It's illegal in Canada. It's unhygienic. It should never happen. Period. And there is NOTHING racist about a Canadian saying this out loud and reminding people that they must follow the rules and laws of the country they are in.

These are people ordered by Imgration Canada to leave Canada after failing the processes to stay in the country. That is 30000 people who should have been put on a plane and sent back to their country of origin. Law enforcement needs to be hired to find these people and put them on the plane. Another way to help this from happening in the future is through the laws. If you are here on a visa or temporary work permit, you must leave by the date on the permit or visa. Failure to do so will result in immediate deportation from Canada to your country of origin. It will also result in a permanent ban from for life from entry to Canada for any reason. If you have been found to enter Canada illegally for any reason. This will also be a permanent ban from entry to Canada in the future for any reason. The only way to extend a permit or visa is from outside of Canada, just like other countries require Canadians to do under their systems. There has to be a reason for people to follow the rules, and that is the permanent ban and immediate deportation upon failure to follow the rules. Another thing is an person needs to have paperwork to get on an international aircraft going to another country. So why do these people arrive in Canada and now have no paperwork. They must show that paperwork to CBSA or face immediate deportation and a lifetime ban from entering Canada for any reason. People who have followed the rules are fully welcomed to Canada. They should show they are entitled to be here and not break major laws of Canada. If you fail and are convinced of breaking major Canadian laws. You will be immediately deported from Canada with a lifetime ban from entry to Canada in the future. These are rules and laws used internationally by other countries, so nothing is new...

If Canada could afford it then they wouldn’t be taking everything from the food banks and donation places. There’s nothing left for the Canadians suffering. It’s not even affordable for people that have children anymore, which is why we need immigrants and it’s hurting us.

It is incumbent upon the Canadian government to screen out those applicants who received fake admission letters upon arrival or even before departing for Canada - at the Indian airport of departure. Clearly the priority of the Canadian government was to allow one and all in so as to benefit from the exorbitantly high tuition fees charged to international students - so scrutiny of offer letters took a back seat. The recent crack down on international students (after such a long time) especially in the wake of the impending elections makes Canadians highly skeptical. This is nothing but damage control by the Trudeau government now that they are faced with the prospect of a decimation at the general elections. They needed a scapegoat - what better than to blame international students....the outsider - sound familiar?

I’m an international student, from my perspective it seems like the government can’t keep themselves from messing with the economy, basically crippling it by regulations, making the market unable to take advantage of the increased labor supply.\n\nI have spent almost half a million in Canada, which includes tuition, living cost, and starting a business which now employs two Canadians. But because I spent one term as a part time student, I have became ineligible for PGWP, which means I have no way of staying in Canada through my own agencies.\n\nThat is a slap in the face for immigrants whove come here to settle, the fact that I have positively contributed to the Canadian economy than many Canadians ever have, while withdrawing absolutely zero from public benefits, now if I buy a house here yall will drop on me a 50%+ capital gains tax and then kick me out, why would anyone want to invest in Canada? I’m seriously considering just moving to Florida because of all these. \n\nWhat happened to the good old days when you can come here with nothing, integrate into the community, and then become Canadians? Almost none of the forefathers of Canadians had to contribute this much into the society first to become Canadians, they stayed because their peers wanted them to stay, and the market was free to adjust to the labor supply and housing demand without government interference.\n\nWhat I see is not an immigration problem, it’s a big government problem, Canadians have become addicted to the government making decisions for them.
