We took in well over 5 million immigrants (documented and undocumented) over the past 3 years. Like New York, many of our cities are overwhelmed with this influx. We don't even have the resources to track down expired visas, overstays, or asylum cases. Last year our government admitted there was a problem and decided to start taking action. The biggest issue is people claim to be tourists with no intent of leaving. The Canada US border is far stronger than our international one.

That is pure bs. How many illegal weapons do you send up North. And how many come to Canada from the south. Also the new steps to protect the border were agreed upon and started during Biden. Get your facts right. DT creates a problem, then pretends to fix it.

Address the real problem and how tosrart working on it, The problem is over the last 40 years there has been a radical redistribution of wealth from the bottom and the middle to the top and the more. This is partly because we changed the tax laws. We relieved taxes from corporations and the rich and we switched them onto the middle and bottom. It was done by Republicans and by democrats And real wages have been flat for years while inflation is rocketing.. And so we have a declining economy and declining country. 11:47 canadian have borh system. Free and slow or you go to private and you pay but service is fast. So at least everybody have acces to health care. And if you whant faster service you have the option to have private service if you pay. Also if you have major problem even if it free you will pass really really fast. So if you are gona die exemple you dont pay anything plus the pass you right away without any wait even if it free. At the entrance you explain your problem and they classify your problem has urgent or not. If someone in worst shape come after you even if you arrive before they pass you before you. That mean if many urgent person person arrive after you that day and you came just for a cold... then for sure you will wait long. Its equivalent to5 k / month . \n\nSo thier dollar isn't worth much , for their parents to have that much money to send a 15 year old to study hs in a foreign country is a luxury only a selected few can dream of\n\nAlso none of them worked and work permit wasn't allowed. I totally understand why a lot of Indians want to leave. Huge population, fierce competition etc so obviously folks want to escape. But the problem is locals in the western countries are being outcompeted for high skilled jobs. This is ON TOP of these jobs being MOVED to India. You cannot blame the locals who felt that they are being eaten from both ends. The anger is palpable and this is ONE of the reasons why you see populist candidates win elections. I only wish we have a massive abundance of high skilled jobs to go around so Indians can also achieve their aspirations and dreams wherever they go.
