Trudeau gave away the country to people that came here on a plane on a regular basis Im disrespected by someone that can barely speak english they all claim to be students yet they all work in a wharehouse you ask them what did they study in school all I get is made up lies what they are doing is they're come here claiming to be on a student visa then they never leave I warned people that Justin is the dev!l but nobody listened to me they just kept voting him in he wore black face black people defended him yet they claim to hate trump cause they say he is a racist so what is justin then scandal after scandal justin keeps getting voting in now my country looks like some mid east country I am seriously thinking about moving to the states too much people coming here yet there is nowhere for them to live or work the job market sucks cause these companies know they can pay them 400 dollars a week cause they just got here last week they will take anything given to them where as the real canadians that built thia country are forced to accept the same 400 dollars a week as well they bring old people here then give them money every month when they 60 plus & not working at all nor have they every worked or paid taxes in canada its a complete shxt show out here thanks Justin

Im am from the Philippines and when I came here in Canada. I was expecting a lot of Canadians in the city to my surprised I see a lot of Indians. Also, I dont understand why the incomers dont respect the Canadians by speaking english in any public places, cause if I am on same shoe I would be irritated. I have lots of respect for the Canadians and their culture, incomers should adapt and conform.Hope the immigration make some changes to control this.

I live in Nova Scotia and most of our population is practically now Indian population it was never like that say 8 years ago,im fine with anyone from any country living here for sure but it must not be bad for them because they have moved here in droves,practically every business is filled with indians all working in them and including where i work,ill tell ya there dedicated workers and work hard and i get it they need the hours to get there Canadian citizenship?So is there a long time perk of being indian and moving to Canada,Nova Scotia perhaps that i dont know about?Because us Canadians that have lived here all there lives are definitely not getting any perks or barebones living for godsake.

I completely agree w this man. Ive worked my ass off for 30 yrs already & even w my private health insurance thru my FT job Its still gonna cost me between 12& 15 grand to get my teeth fixed. Its life threatening & caused by a bone disease that I have no control over but the Gov't wont help pay a damn cent. (Btw I drive 2hrs a day & sometimes sleep in my car overnight & shower at work cuz I cant afford the cost of gas to drive home every day.) \n@ 45 Ive been forced 2 deplete my retirement savings & move in w my Godparents cuz I can't afford rent anymore.\nI drive an 06 Honda Odyssey which is hangin by a thread & Im grateful AF for it.\nBoth my parents served in the military. A combined 30 yrs in the infantry. I did 7 yrs in Army Cadets & was going 2 join the army after high school but I was diagnosed w a bone disease & couldn't pass the health & fitness screening.\nMy point is that Im a hard working, tax paying, polite & damn good citizen. I take care of my neighbours. I come from a family where we were taught 2 be of service 2 my country BUT WTF HAS MY COUNTRY DONE FOR ME?\nThey let in millions of people who cant/dont/wont contribute a damn thing 2 this country & the gov't gives them special PRIVILEGES that CANADIAN CITIZENS will NEVER GET!!\nIt's infuriating & only fuels racism. I lived in Canada for 14 years, from 1998 to 2013 ,i was the most happiest person while living in montreal ,long story short, lost all my money in montreal casino around 200k ,left Canada for Australia with my wife who was pregnant, start new life wasn't easy here but im ok now , my hear is always in canada , and canadian ,love you montreal

I applied for canadian immigration in the mid 2000s. I ticked all the qualification. I am qualified and i even have enough money to support myself for more than a year even though i have lots of friends and relatives in canada. AND YET, my application was turned down. I have no idea what happened. Im also supposed to get my processing fee back after i was rejected but i never got them anymore. Then i read canada allowed even unqualified immigrants from other parts of the world just bcoz.... Maybe its a blessing in disguise for me coz many friends i know are coming back home. Some maintained their canadian citizenship but are living back in my country, doing great business

As a Canadian, Im so glad us Canadian citizens are smart and actually cross into the US Legally and not do any of this bs crossing into the US illegally

Again I never heard of the solution DORMSSSSSS! Canada dont need too many small colleges, just few in strategic areas where everyone will have access. These schools, they can accept international student but!!! They should have capacity to accommodate like having a dorrrmmmmm for the school. Im mad about this bc in SKorea, where I exchage, they have dorms, here in Canada, you have to find it yourself. We also get our food in the cafeteria which is healthier and have mang options. That 2 alone are solutions itself. You have your money, you refrain us from affecting your inflation so much, we are comfortable and safe and can build better community and many new friends while studying here. The rent could also be used by the schools for scholarship to locals than the rent going to the hands of greedy real estate investors. And now the Canadians are blaming us alone for the housing market? Blame the greedy government and schools!

Amazing you can comment on a CBC news YouTube channel.. you cannot blame the huge influx of immagrants on just students coming here to learn... The federal government needs NEEDS NEEDS to shut down the flow of people coming here from everywhere.. we as a country cannot handle the sheer ammount that they want to bring in.. these people are brough here in the expectance of paying taxes.. but how many are getting their education and leaving for greener pastures? Why would this be any different than what Canadian students do after they are finished with their education.. Never compare a country with another. We are all educated immigrants who decided to immigrate over to Canada. Im from India, Canadians ive dealt with for my last 10 years are super friendly and sweet people. Yes as a Canadian now i love this soil, weather and i would not mind even giving my life for this country who has made my life better and given me all freedom to live my life the way i want.

Im from Toronto. This isn’t a post covid fall out, it’s the fall out of bad government planning and rapid globalization. \nFun fact, 1 in 10 of of council housing goes to homeless immigrants. This means they are pushed up the given homes before other low income Canadians already here. I take zero issue with us welcoming others, however i do take issue with the fact we’re stretching our resources so thin. . We got a bigggg problem on our hands. Crimes going up because no ones needs are being met and as you mentioned out healthcare system fails those who need it most.

Im a Canadian, currently living in Vancouver but I've lived in many countries and will expat again. What it boils down to is if you have a good professional job that pays well, quality of life here is fantastic (among the best). Great schools, clean, great for young kids, and unparalleled acces to the best nature in the world mintues from a world class city. But life gets difficult quick when you cant afford anything. All these other complaints are blown out of porpotion (politics, drugs, etc...) by many and mostly don't really impact most people. In my experience, most people really leave because of better pay in the US, or because Europe has more culture, or asia has many more contries to explore close, or has LATAM has better weather etc...

Im 1st generation to Canada in 1952 , garduated from Univ, served in Canadian Army .This country has deteriated due to consecutive governments allowing flow of immigrants, refugees, student visas . Also Liberal Government continuing to destroy our economy, printing beyond our GDP on behest of a globalist agenda in pursuit of world control. Canada has descended to a 3rd world banana republic run by incompetent group of nefarious ministers' hell bent to re invent Canadian culture and through multi culturalism pit all each nationalities against each other. There is nothing redeeming about Canada anymore.

As a Canadian myself, there are definitely a lot of problems going on here right now. Im on Vancouver Island and its very expensive. A lot of problems with homelessness and addiction here as well. \nIm probably going to be stuck in Canada forever lol, but I really like Southern Europe. Im not sure how big the Muslim population is in those countries. There are countries like Qatar and UAE where the official religion is Islam.

This isn't meant to be racist or anti immigrant, but i must point out that this entire situation you're describing is worse for Canadian born Canadians that don't have roots anywhere else. About 50 years ago, the recently deceased Henry Kissinger went to China at the behest of David Rockefeller to open up manufacturing in the country and to use US construction firms to build China into a modern society with modern infrastructure. They also took all of the manufacturing sectors that were created, perfected and relied upon by the North Americans and handed them over to foreign countries they were developing into the modern economic powerhouses they are now. \nNow that we're poor and have no manufacturing sectors to sustain a healthy middle class anymore, we welcome people from the countries who received our manufacturing sectors and have prospered greatly from it to our countries where they continue to make things here economically worse by making us compete with nouveau rich foreigners for our limited housing and infrastructure. Again, im not blaming the average citizen, North American or not. I am strictly blaming billionaires who think they have the right to control the world for their own benefit. But at least you have an economically rising country that is affordable to live in that you can retreat to at anytime. People with only a Canadian passport do not have that option.
