I have no idea what possessed Mr. Trump to decide to stab our allies in the back, but it was not something good. 27.5% of voting age adults voted for him. How many of them were serenaded by hollow promises and a good slogan. Perhaps all of the mud slinging and Russian media interference helped? If you add in our more studious teenagers, truly reformed felons, and immigrants who actually deserve a gold card, that number plummets to less than 25%. I won't ask people to wake up, if you are reading this you are already more than capable of finding out that I speak only the hard truth. This means less than a quarter of america wanted this. This means your vote and opinions DO count. I know it is incredibly difficult to reach for and find answers in a world where your president or primary candidate throws 'fake news' in your face on a regular basis. He is actually telling the truth. When he is not telling you is that he is a primary enabler of 'fake news'. To him, only his word is law, only his opinion matters, only he deserves to be on top, and he deserves authority over all of your lives. Do the right thing, we all have a civil duty to understand our candidates to the very best of our ability. When a man has been convicted of dozens of felonies, and we tell you that this is only what we were willing to expose. You may want start believing us. aren't there ANY possible legal ways at all to stop them in their tracks?, english is not my first language and i learnt it late in life, but words like impeachment come to mind, along with criminal offences, felony charges for corruption, espionage and so on. Well, I was feeling really great about all the support from around the world, including the kind words of many Americans (thank you), but then I watched this same speech on the Fox youtube channel and the comments are exactly the opposite. I’m an American and I just want to apologize to Canada. You have always been a good neighbor and a friend. You don’t deserve this. The Donald Trump version of America has shown that its treaties and its word are meaningless by betraying its own agreements with you. I am truly sorry. And I urge you to do what you need to do to protect yourself. The truth is that the America we all once knew, the one I grew up in, is gone.
