As a First Nations member .Seeing Aboriginals homeless and letting others to come and drain are resources .I get upset that our government will help others ,but not our own .I pity the future generations

We already have millions of people here getting food stamps, section 8 housing, free healthcare, etc. How come you guys aren’t upset about that though? ?

We have recently started contemplating moving to Serbia (my home country). Compared to Canada, Serbia has very affordable housing, and a much better healthcare system. Moreover, the majority of the population also speaks English and for someone coming from an an English speaking country like Canada, this is a huge bonus. From Poland. Arrived yo Canada at the end of 2020. I am nearing my 4th year here, in a small village. I arrived with my 6-year-old daughter to begin my writing career. Now, 40% of my daughter's childhood has been spent here and I I go to court soon to fight for my child to be returned home to me. After nearly one year- a year of financial hardship because I have to travel without a driver's license and without a group of friends to drive me- I have my very first hearing with a judge in Youth Court in a matter that has no foundation to begin with, follows no rule of law, and acts arbitrarily. My child whom I homeschooled to the praise of the provincial ministry of education and was following a classical liberal arts education path that had her outpacing students in the province was entrusted to the care of a Child Services company (that has a record of placements that have resulted in child murders). My child's life has been irrevocably upset to say the least. NO ONE LEAVING CANADA GIVES THIS STORY AS A RESON FOR QUITTING THIS COUNTRY. I guess no Canadians care about their children like I do my precious gift from God. True, O come from the former Soviet Union where Marshal Law (Emergency Measures Act) were commonplace. I lived through two in Canada in 4 years: one Federal, and one through Provincial Youth Court where I await my turn to see a judge after my daughter was removed from my care. People do not know they have no biological ownership of their children, because I guess few Canadians value their children to care about their own laws. But these laws also apply to immigrants too. What money was taken from me during the move and resettlement, the government takes by creating more expenses for me than I could ever imagine or budget for. Emotionally, I am a wreck. Rather than commencing my writing career, I have been seeking low-income lawyers, reading the provincial law on Youth Protection, filing complaints within a circular system (the watchdog is part of the system not outside of it) and preparing all evidence to prove I have done nothing wrong [just like in communist rule]. Have you ever given any thought to the difficulties in proving your innocence? \nNO ONESEEMS AWARE OF THIS DETERENT TO BRINGING CHILDREN TO CANADA. NO ONE. IT IS THE ONLY ONE I COULD NOT PLAN FOR. All other complaints like the economy, or the weather, or inflation I have survived. But taking away my child, my reason to settle in Canada for a life of freedom for her, my legacy, was unthinkable. People ask me in this small village where is my daughter. Their rosy cheeks become snow white when I tell them. Canadians here are unaware and scared like cattle in a thunder storm. Many are addicted to welfare payments, cannabis, prescription drugs, and television. They all seem to be waiting in a pen of fear. I am stuck here now, with little financial resource to fight for my child's life. It is unfortunate that no one will read my comment because it is an inscrutable wall of text or too frightening. Unless someone reads it, no help will come for my daughter. (Because she is a dual citizen, the local Polish Ambassador will not step in - another drawback for having a Canadian passport). You forgot to add that LEGAL immigrants are upset at this blatant disregard for their own interests as new citizens to this country. We expect the immigrants to be vetted like we were. We also desire a safe proporous country and not have it degraded by political games being played.

As a 32 year old male born in Kitchener, Ontario. This mass immigration is killing our country. With so many immigrants from India that (as a whole, not every Indian) do NOT assimilate to Canada and our culture has us pretty upset. It’s making our housing crisis worse and killing our economy. Canada is not the same country I grew up in and it’s changing fast before our very eyes. We are losing our image, identity and our culture. For my argument, we get called a racist for pointing this out about the mass Indian immigration. They immediately combat us saying “look what you did to the natives” like come on… The truth is, we’d call out anyone else from any other country.

The countries of European nations are being flooded with foreigners, overrunning these nations. Places like England, Germany, France, Netherlands, etc are ethnic wellsprings. Just like Japan, Korea, Vietnam, India, etc, etc. Flooding these wellsprings with other ethnic groups dissolves the ethnic groups (the nations) of those countries. England should be for the English, Japan for the Japanese, Germany for the Germans, etc. If the ruling regime actually cared about respecting different ethnicities/cultures and their existence, if they cared about actual diversity, they'd be opposed to immigration. But instead they are destroying European nations - and places like Japan and South Korea are also in the early stages of this. It's evil. \nAnd as for why Canadians are getting upset is because the ethnic compositions of Canada are changing so fast. So fast. It is becoming like a different country. Why are they doing this to us? It would feel more comfortable if the homelands of European nations were not under this same existential threat, but they are. It's alarming. This is horrific.

We’re missing half the story. We didn’t see what enabled the customer to react. And inspired him to begin recording. The delivery guy is obviously one of those people we meet, who is an ass, and when he spoke to the customer like that. Is when he erupted. This is SUCH a puff piece completely one sided that dismisses legitimate concerns as the only reason being xenophobic......Canada has always welcomed people but it was done at a lot slower pace where people had a chance to assimilate and build a life. You can't add over a million people a year with different cultures and pretend it's going to be ok. Ignoring the massive housing crisis, it's a culture crisis. A lot of the people coming do not share Canadian values, period. Canadians are noticing a massive change in the country they love seemingly overnight. You go out in any city and you barely see white people anymore. It's jarring. It was made into an amazing country by certain people and now it seems new immigrants are treated better than citizens. Everyone is in favor of immigration done the right way, but that isn't what's happening and natural born Canadians have every right to be upset that the country is being ruined in a way they don't want.

For over a decade now any attempt to criticize legitimate issues with immigration got you branded a racist by the establishment. Outlets like the Guardian have shilled for big corporations who only used immigration as a source of cheap labour. How do you call it scapegoating immigration for the housing shortage? Is it the biggest issue? Yes. You can't increase the population by 8 million people in a decade and not expect it to stretch not only housing but Healthcare as well. It doesn't make you a racist to be upset about that. Sure the infrastructure needed to be increased but that has to be paid for in advance of immigrants coming and with so many people on the poverty line who should pay for that? You make it seem like it's our duty to take in and provide all the services necessary, it's not. I live in Quebec and out there and the ROC, I am freaking out how more and more people struggle to make ends meet and survive - just the Housing problem alone, it is freaking obscene and it is no longer a big city problem. I hail from a city in Northern Quebec and out there, many people have to say goodbye to the dream of owning their home. Vancouver and Toronto are out of control, Montreal is following suit. You know it is bad when more and more Canadians consider moving to Mexico or Portugal, like Americans. On my side, I am kind of pessismistic and upset, to think I might never have my own house in my own country (Quebec, that is).

Who were in Canada before white people migrated there? The Indigenous people went from being the ethnic majority to getting wiped out and white people claimed the country as their own. I feel bad for many of the India people coming to Canada.\n \nThere is no clear solution if the governments don't start controlling the numbers of foreign students to be enrolled and same with the schools for hurting not just the people of the cities their in but also their own staff tend to struggle because of the lack of housing.\n\nIn my line of work, almost every single one of them should not have been on the phone for technical support, not because of a lack of education but a lack of speaking English clearly. Some of them or should I say a lot of them were promoted to supervisors. That made my father extremely upset when first he would not understand the tech rep and then to have a supervisor with the same challenge was horrendous.

North American continent originally belonged to the native Americans. Land was forcefully taken from them, and since then people from other continents has been migrating here. Originally it was Europeans who migrated here in large numbers, now that was extended to rest of the world. When the Italian immigrants came to the United States, they were treated bad so was the Irish immigrants, now the Indians are the newer immigrants, some people are getting upset about that. People are moving into one city because they feel comfortable being around their own race.

If they were told that they would be getting a post graduate work permit before they started school and the rules changed while they were in school (after you got their money) that does seem kinda unfair to me. They don't have the right to get PR but they should still get their work permits.\n\nIf you sign up and pay for something then the other party changes the terms of the agreement or doesn't uphold their commitment wouldn't you be upset?

I just watched a bus get dropped off at an immigration visa service place by my kids school. Follow the money and see the problem b who’s making money off of people from conflict countries who would do anything for a change of location. I’ll bet that organization making 10k a head so dam right there’s incentive for them to operate. Upsettingly enough they usually aren’t originally from here and therefore even more capital leaving the country under the guise of “helping” is it safe here , for now, but the only jobs available are minimum wage fast food or entry level positions. So only come to Canada if you’re good with paying more for less and then getting taxed significantly.

We came to Canada 5 years ago, through Student Visa ( Masters) , wanted my kids to learn english too, the pandemic hit and borders closed. Plan was return. During pandemic we had to change our visa and got the PR and got good jobs,. Met great people and decided to stay because is nice for my children. What I have to say is: there is wayyy too many Indians, we didnt want to do any school work with them, we dont want to work with them, we dont want to live in their neighborhood. ( its weird to admit it), at this point, we dont want to go to Walmart, is just their irresponsible attitude everywhere , also descendents of India (2 and 3 generarion) that I met are shocked and upset with soo many and the elementary schools are packed full portables. There is no balance. Their culture will dominate in 100 years from now. This is how immigration works. The outcomes will be seen later and will change Canadian Culture forever.
