As an American I am impressed by how Canadians stay strong against bullies. I love how the Prime Minister's speech. Say no or back down to bullies.

Many, if not most Canadians, have family and friends in the US. We are more than trade partners and allies. Canadians are not fighting against US citizens. We are fighting with most of you against this tyranny. We will not let those few psychopaths divide the love and friendship between Canadians and US citizens, as it’s obvious that’s what they are trying to do

Its so sad?? God help us a mad man is hurting all of the World pray everyone pray hard for Gods intervention....we love Canadian neighbors ...true Christians never act lime this never?????

As a Canadian who isnot a JT supporter, I loved this speech.

We as United States citizenry are appalled by President Trump and his band of thugs over his present action's toward the free World. We all Love our Canadian neighbors and will band together with our Vote to limit Trumps policies and rid our government from their unnecessary present path of destruction. Thank you President Trudeau and we all are praying for your continual strengths on the World Theater.

From all the bullying that this man gets from Canadian citizens and American leaders, I love how he handles things very professionally. He’s got exceptional self control and never lost his temper. Always showing humbleness. A great example of a true Canadian.

As an American, I've been trying to work out in Alberta as a Pipe Insulator for over five years with no response, but you guys let in other foreign nations. How about you give the people in the US citizenship if we are seeking refuge. I want out of this crappy over priced country more than you know, and all of my Canadian friends have way more respect, values and integrity that the people in the 40's 50's 60..etc used to have in this country. His speech was not only eloquent and well addressed. I loved the paused, calm but firm way in which he spoke. I had my criticism of him, due to some policies of his government, but now, I'd be SO proud to have him as a prime minister. Well done, Mr. Trudeau. Stand strong, Canadians ??✊? Myself a humble, quiet, soft spoken overly apologetic Canadian from Alberta will explain to the Orange clown loving Americans what just happened. (just in case the sudden politeness/professionalism was a cerebral barrier) ..My boss gave your boss the middle finger and had a talkie talk to him like you would a child or someone with severe mental disabilities... and, btw.... Both my sons were born in Canada! I lived in Windsor and Tecumseh, Ontario for 6 years. I love the Canadian people and my in laws even though divorced from their brother (who is deceased now). I wish I could move back! I am ashamed to live here right now!

I seem to recall the whole tariff thing started when Donald wanted to even up the 200 billion dollar subsidy to Canada which doesn’t exist, then he chose the immigration and fentanyl crisis that doesn’t exist … can’t wait to hear the next excuse. I would love to hear the real reason for this, and we will one day. I have no doubt that we Canadians will survive this nonsense as we always do.

But I'll tell you what, he may be shocked and sadly mistaken when he finds out that it might just backfire ...this is a very conceited attempt to get the type of economic condition that he envisions for his new Dictatorship over America....he has alienated United States from its allies in Europe as well as its allies here at home.... This is probably about as dumb as his treatment of Volodimir Zelensky that just transpired on Friday at the oval office...and that idiot Vance is the one actually that has started that little debacle....I don't know man I thought these guys had more sense than to do this kind of shit....
