I'm certain nobody will agree with me - but why is part of the problem in the west; people get their reality from the MSM - but if I were you I would go back to Russia. The East is the future; the west is heading straight off a cliff. The only way IMO that you can be reasonably safe from that anywhere in the west is if you are completely self sufficient - and debt free - living MILES from other people - or in a likeminded community - where you are prepared to defend yourself from whats coming. I am in such a situation in NZ and even I am ready to bolt; in my case either to a small south pacific island or maybe Thailand - who are joining BRICS and therefore completely isolated from the impending western economic/social disaster. Being in Russia of course means the whole of Asia is easily open to you as well - but makes sense also because you have a history there. I would love to live in Russia - it is now normal - the people HAVE A SAY in everything - compared to the abnormal west which is now the new Soviet Union. Sad but undenyable - if you face facts.

Yet when the prices of housing was going up, many homeowners loved it, even though it meant that the poor, the actual poor and not you lot, were stacked like firewood into smaller and smaller rooms with no AC so it was hot in the summer and freezing in the winter and the slum lords are having a hey day. \nThe actual first nations people are homeless and being killed daily and are arrested for being poor daily but you lot think you have it bad. \n\nSorry, when non first nations people say that they will leave Canada because its not how they remember it when they were kids and its worse now so they will jump ship to gentrify other nations, I just shake my head and hold open the door as you leave the nation and wonder at your arrogance and egoism.

Since my mother was German when I was born, I just recently found out that I'm also a German citizen from birth through descent through my mother. I've been living here in the US since high school when I moved from Victoria to Tucson, Arizona. I eventually got my US green card (permanent residency. I then moved to Madison, Wisconsin and became a US Citizen. At this point, I am a dual US and Canadian citizen in addition to being German citizen as well. I am applying for my confirmation of German citizenship through the German consulate in Chicago which would then allow me to obtain a German passport for access to live and work freely in EU and Schengen countries. I went to The Netherlands last January and I really feel in love with the Dutch culture and lifestyle. I am planning on spending at least a few years there as soon as I get my German passport. \nMy relatives in Canada keep telling me how lucky I am to be a US Citizen as they all say how terrible the situation has become in Canada. I am surprised since I've always considered Canada to be one of the top places to live in the world. I haven't lived in Canada for a long time and I've been doing relatively good here in the USA. I enjoy the US overall but we definitely have our share of issues here as well.\nAnyhow .... I wish you the best on your next location.

I think it is largely due to really poor and incompetent leadership and to some extent, a lack of independence to do what is best for Canada instead of another country. Hi Alina, well done on your decision. This is not an easy thing to do. As well as Canada, i have lived in the uk and Greece. I don't want to make things harder for you but i want to warn you that the grass is never greener on the other side. I am very disappointed with Canada to be honest. My wife and i are moving from Alberta to New Brunswick next week in search of a quieter, calmer, cheaper life. Let's see what happens. I completely agree with all of your points. I could easily get political but i won't. Suffice to say, keep doing what you love. Screw the system that is forced on us. We work for no return. Work doesn't pay anymore. Brampton crime rates are 30% lower than the national average Violent crimes in Brampton are 27% lower than the national average - Just saying. As one who live next to Brampton, I don't see any issues there. Walking around Brampton is fine.. it was WAY worse in the 80s. The crime rate has been dropping each year over the last 20 years. Great assessment. My wife left Vancouver 22yrs ago. It was bad then and has only gotten worse. Sadly the residents would rather smoke a joint than vote for a conservative govt and attend a church. I can't help but think that the phrase 'a country of immigrants' is just a sneaky way of saying 'a country of colonialism'. I dont know that much accountability or reconciliation has happened in Canada over the last 300 years. It began with governments and corporations doing whatever they wanted and could do to make money and extract resources off of this land (regardless of whom it affected), and continues to be just that. The increase of immigrants is largely, as far as I know, being used to a) bring in more revenue and economic stimulus (which is more and more ending up in the hands of a few very wealthy families) and b) fuel the labour force of large corporations that would rather soak the profits up themselves, hire low-wage PR or temporary foreign worker labour, than pay Canadian residents properly to work those jobs. I love immigrants, have many 1st gen immigrants friends, and think they do bring a lot to Canada. We all do, as we were all immigrants at some point. At the same time, the immigration system is very complicit in looking at immigration as a resource in aiding those rich families/ corporations in colonialism, and you could argue that this overreliance is abuse of the immigration system. Certainly, we have seen this with colleges. This feels especially true over the last several years with huge jumps in immigration numbers with growing inequality for long term residents. So the result is a very quickly changing world that is not helping many Canadians feel more secure about their future, which is a recipe for unrest. Am I wrong? Genuinely I am looking to have an open discussion here!

With what's happening now in this world. We need to make it mandatory military service for the migrants, illegals etc, we will need reinforcements anyway. That way they can prove how much they love this country,and get some of the crime out of their system . They can actually earn what is being given for free or should I say at our expense. Because we all know someone has to pay,and it's usually us.

I live in Quebec and love winter, but I do sometimes dream of living somewhere like Hawaii or California where I could eat ripe avocados and grow so much food all year round. I could build a tiny home (less regulations - so much red tape here - and cheaper bc less need of insulation and heating) and go swimming every day. This is pretty idealistic though, and could probably do these things in non-american countries. Would I consider moving to the United States? Sure I would consider it. Would I though? Probably not. Why? Similar reasons to many folks in this country:\n- lack of women's rights (still growth to do here too)\n- lgbtqia+ discrimination (here as well, but definitely to a lesser extent)\n- racism (we have this here too though... just maybe less nazis?)\n- guns (this terrifies me... anyone I know who has a gun here has it only for hunting and it's locked up in a gun case, which I think is required, when not in use)\n- healthcare (though I'm not in love with our system... I'm currently on a huge waiting list for an mri, the waiting lists to get a doctor are obscene, and can't access dental or mental health support... some of our hospitals are in such poor shape...)\n- politics and MAGA (terrifying that so many people think like that... though our political parties are pretty fucked up too... just not to the same extent)\n- school systems that teach kids the world is as old as the Bible says\n- police and prison industrial complex (seems less personal and terrifying from the outside)

Being coming from India 32 years ago, I find new Indian do not know manners to say Thanks or Sorry and expert in cutting the line in the queue, DO NOT hold door for someone . They should not be allowed to travel outside Brampton unless they learn manners and how to live in civilized world. I do understand in India it is jungle rule. Many of the facts were some % wrong. Although I love India and happily worked in India for almost decade, but lifestyle and personal life is better in Canada, because in India big business tycoon says people should work for 15-18 hrs. Personal life put on shit. It’s not easy to settle here easily and definitely have to struggle a lot, and that is same in India if u are builting things by your own and not on with family support. Homeless people are being provided with proper shelters and money in Canada, but being druggist they don’t live there. Skilled people here are not struggling much, but if u go in comfort zone and continue with basic jobs, u eventually will struggle. People don’t wna go to distance city, hence all problems.

Also I second that as a Canadian I really love and enjoy American people. Anytime I visit USA I feel so welcomed, they are always so kind, joyful, generous and hospitable. Honestly I don’t know why they get such a bad rep like I don’t have one bad thing to say about any Americans I’ve interacted with.

Whatever you are saying its a lie , i ll tell you my story i was looking for a government job in UP Police or CRPF later i found out i have knock knees and i was shattered i moved to canada in 2010 and my start was really hard i cleaned washroom , i worked in mcdonalds and i received my citizenship in 2020 and currently i am working as a police officer in RCMP and i am proud to say that canada have given my dream :) there is problem but i would say it just 20 percent and rest everything is a lie indian girls never dated but i found my love in canada i was lucky enough that i met my wife here and she approached me i didnt do any effort

Indian system is really bad, due to these paper leaks and all my career is at a halt, my mental health is wrecked and wherever i went in govt system i saw only corruption. I'll be honest while writing this! Being Indian i feel ashamed nowadays bcoz of Trudeau's love affair for Khalistani's. When i came here 6 years it was way better but in last 2-3 years Trudeau has literally dumped whole Punjab into Canada without any screening. I love watching these videos as a Canadian. Because Canadians are fleeing the country for mostly the same reasons. But the funny aspect is that immigrants say that they can't find work because their immigrants but Canadians also can't find work because most companies prefer immigrants, and if the government wasn't letting in so many people then the housing crisis wouldn't be as bad. So problems 2, 3, 4 and 5 are largely caused by immigrants.

I moved home to Canada after 20 years living and working in 5 countries. I am so grateful to be home. I am sorry some people leave but I can truthfully say that it is better here. I came from France back in 2015 whith my familly when Harper was still prime minister at the time , really I'd say things have been really great , my family and I have worked hard to get to where we are today and have always wanted to give back to our community here but I am disgusted to see in 2024 what Trudeau has done to the country and to see that immigration is no longer as prestigious as it used to be. Unlike some people we have today, I had to wait 3 years with my family before receiving approval to move to Canada (after so many exams, appointments and waiting times). I did my middle school here until college and I'm currently still looking for work in correctional and when I see that people arrive here afterwards without being permanent residents, who are literally flooding spots at colleges/university and also jobs that are normally open for young canadians in their 15-16 (When I was in high school, my first job was at a McDonald's, and without exception, everyone there was Canadian. Love your videos, however I must say that you seem to be very naive about the reality, severity and frequency of racism in the US, no matter the area. It's not really your place as a white man to say that that person's complaints and fears regarding that are exaggerated (especially considering they had lived there for 6 years lol they didn't pull that sentiment out of thin air). While Canada is by no means free of racism, it is absolutely a deciding factor for a lot of minorities and for good reason unfortunately.

I traveled with my son and mother, we drove from Montreal to Florida . Did several stops along the way . Visited many things and I have to say it was a magnificent trip, my son was 5 at the time and made many new friends. For us it was very enjoyable. Our visit lasted one month. Love those Florida oranges ?

They should tighten regulations regarding study permits and issue visas only to genuine students who want to grow in this beautiful country, rather than those planning to work at pizza shops for the rest of their lives. We also need to crack down on the aggressive sales practices of immigration consultants in developing nations like India. Let's not forget the big culprits behind this: the admissions officers of the colleges, who fully endorse these practices to meet their revenue targets by any means possible, all under the watchful eyes of the government and IRCC.\n\nI've witnessed this firsthand. I openly challenge those consultants and Canadian college admission officers to be upfront with prospective and future students and tell them in person, before accepting their applications, that a study permit does not guarantee permanent residency in Canada. Explain the rules behind that and see what happens next—people will stop coming to Canada altogether. Consultants and colleges need to be honest with their prospective students and not just include those important facts in a fine print under a bunch of paperwork. \n\nAnd my god, the programs most colleges sell—useless diplomas that are of no use in their home countries either. The only Canadians that live in Brampton are the homeless ones. the rest of Brampton is full of foreigners. Unbelievable how entitled these people are it's no secret that Canada's job Market is flooded with foreign Indian workers. And to hear that one student say that the government should be listening to them just goes to show how selfish they really are. Sorry, but I didn't know 'so many people' were leaving Canada. In fact, my European friends living in Canada, LOVE Canada. Their number one reason? The government is for the people. Their numerous benefits, programs and services (employment Insurance, child benefit, pensions, benefits for housing, student aid, family benefits, grants and funding opportunities, disabilities and their recently implemented dental care plan), says it all. Sure the cost of living is high, but where isn’t? Especially after covid and especially if you want a decent quality of life. Their car insurance and phone plans are also expensive but they're getting better. Stay out of the big cities if you can't afford it. There are other parts of Canada that is affordable. \n\nBtw, the healthcare industry, particularly the long-term care sector is a good place to earn a decent living. They are always looking for RNs, PSWs etc. \n\nIn the end, the positives outweigh the negatives. Besides having free healthcare and the many generous social services and benefits, Canada is also a progressive country with strong social policies, including gender equality, LGBTQ+ rights and environmental sustainability, (we’re drinking out of those gross cardboard straws now. Hello?). Then there is our natural and breathtaking landscapes, our four seasons, our excellent education system, diverse communities, friendly people, our cool festivals (The Calgary Stampede, Montreal International Jazz Festival, Caribana, Toronto International Film Festival, Just for Laughs Montreal, Pride Toronto are a few that come to mind), our great air and water quality, strict gun laws, legal cannabis… I could go on and on.\n\nIf you're able to afford living in Canada, consider yourself fortunate.
