I was born and raised on the east coast of Canada, lived in Vancouver and visited Montréal Edmonton, Calgary with the acception of Winnipeg I’ve seen every major city in Canada. \n\nI will always have pride for my country and love for my family there but it has changed dramatically since 2010.\n \nI will say the transportation in Canadian cities are better and so is the crime and the food but you have to drive a minimum of an hour to get anywhere outside the city, your not leaving that city without a car and good luck surviving without a car outside the city, and VIA rail is way overpriced. The GO train is nice though.\n\nLiving in America it has changed a lot since covid too though people are a lot more desperate and you can feel it but people are too prideful to admit, where in Canada people are struggling and they dress and look terrible and fail to dress nice because there is less prideful.\n\nCanadians are not nice people they are passive aggressive and will not got out of their way to help you most of the time (modern day) kind of like Californians.\nThe east coast Americans are rude and trashy but they will help you if you show respect. There just no fun to be around mostly ? overall North Americans are chauvinistic.\n\nJobs are harder to get in Canada and opportunity isn’t there, but it is very relaxed.\nAmerica is overcrowded and stressful especially for a Canadian.\nMontréal is cheap rent great food, and being personally bilingual I like the French, but there infrastructure is terrible and the people are depressed and disgustingly rude and they have no customer service.\n\nVancouver is overpriced in every way possible, beautiful city, great seafood but it’s not worth the price tag, you would be better of living in a San Francisco, the crime in Richmond and burnaby and new Westminster and hasting street is just as bad as San Francisco’s tenderloin.\n\nToronto is big and fun yet it doesn’t feel Canada at all, it feels like it’s been hijacked by American and foreign companies. It’s beautiful but lots of rats and bad traffic. People are relatively nicer there but it’s still expensive like New York.\nCalgary is very pretty probably my favorite, it’s just cold AF and kinda pricey. Probably perfect for families.\nEdmonton is flat and boring but I like it’s proximity to Calgary ?\nOverall it’s one of the best countries to live in the west but if you like fast paced, opportunity, diversity, traveling and are rich enough for elite education then come to America. Lastly Canada is a democracy so bills can be passed faster but that can also be a bad thing if you have a courrupt gov’t, cough cough trudeau.\nAmerica is a republic so it is harder to pass laws which can suck but it is also harder for people like uncle joe to overreach. Overall in America you are more free but in Canada you are more at peace. \n\nI’ve lived in America for six years and moved here at 20yrs so this is just my experience.

Canada has sky high immigration because it is a failed state, the population was declining. Immigration is basically all that is keeping the country from imploding. They will let in anyone because they are desperate to keep the tax base growing. The landmass itself is gorgeous, but the quality of life continues to deteriorate by the day. The country is run the by Royal Family, Trudeau is just a stooge people elect to grovel to the Queen and her son, he has no power. They are confused environmentalists, they want to grow their tax base and keep the country from imploding, meanwhile they want to use as little land as possible to do it. So you get stacked and packed into a condo and get worked nonstop and taxed so hard you can never accumulate enough savings to stop working. The whole country is a slave colony really. I'm leaving Canada shortly, I don't recommend it as a long term place to live, no one is really happy here.

Funny enough, she's the type who voted Trudeau because Jagmeet was brown.

#1 reason I would leave and I’m a Canadian is Trudeau. He’s a jerk. Canada was so much better without this asshole. I live in Toronto. Lucky enough to buy a house downtown in 1995 and we have good jobs. So $ isn’t a factor like for other people. But the liberals are ruining this beautiful country.

Truth = Hate speach so watch out. The real story may end up being that Canada has spent 100’s of millions of dollars for unqualified illegals beacause of Trudeau’s self protion campaign but Canada’s Dr’s have adamantly stated the healthcare system is always operating at 100% capacity. When people start dying because there are not enough resources to save them it will get ugly. The money spent on unqualified illegals not facing death or oppression and a governments obsession on self promotion instead of healthcare infrastructure will not make for a great legacy with an avoidable death count.

To be honest, we have WAY too many immigrants coming in especially under Trudeau's pandering. I don't mind immigration but this is way too much, we're not a door mat and we DON'T have enough job creation right now as it is. And before you bring up past injustices, those people are mostly dead now. There's a difference between an immigrant and a pioneer.

Trudeau brought in enough to open our eyes to the reality. They will all now be suspect. Trudeau pushed the country beyond all reason.

I hate my country under Trudeau. His friendly system towards immigration will soon enough extinction of the White Canadian. The second language will soon be Chinese.

Well that just makes me mad. He should have all his money seized to show Canada is serious on this type of fraud. He basically only lost 9% of what we know defrauded the system. Immigrant wishful thinking. Canada does love immigrants and most of it's populace are immigrants, but that is only for well documented immigrants with high human capital. Canada uses a point based system to see whether new immigrants can contribute to society. Trudeau is making things worse. Look at the influx of Haitians coming to Quebec. I may be wrong on the number but I think we have 54,000 homeless people many of them children and not enough shelters to house them. We live in one of the coldest countries during the winter many died Frozen on sidewalks. And now our dear prime minister is going to house refugees who entered the US illegally and fled to Canada because he told them they were welcomed. Justin Trudeau has become an embarrassment to us.

Well this Canadian is totally fed up with Trudeau and so are a lot of us.. I have a friend who works in one of those hotels.. it is disgusting what they have to clean up.. it's enough to make one throw up..They go in with masks..

Trudeau...idiot, spoiled trust fund, groper, corrupt. It's bad enough two years ago he invited immigrants (mostly criminals) from the US into Canada but now he is spending our tax dollars to put them in hotels. Where else in the world can criminals be treated like royalty? Guess we'll be seeing more come in. Canada has become a joke. Trudeau is a weak leader. He showed he is unable to put his emotions aside long enough to make a rational decision based on what's best for his country and immigrants/refugees. Then he had to back-track, but not until he had caused additional and unnecessary hardship. This shows his lack of maturity which to me, makes him an unfit leader. Leaders need to have the intestinal fortitude to make tough decisions based on projected consequences, even it means his numbers take a temporary dive in the polls. \n\nTrudeau obviously views compassion as a positive trait and it is, but only when balanced by wisdom. Otherwise, it leaves a person open to being reactionary, rather than proactive. Compassion applied unwisely leads to its opposite which is cruelty as was demonstrated as the outcome in this video. If Trudeau was really compassionate he would not have spoken in a way that gave false hope.

Red has swept across Canada, so as soon as Trudeau gets sworn in then even more immigrants will have easy access. Come one come all. Don't have a job? No problem, we'll set you up with everything you need/want. Want to wear a niqab, burka or whatever no problems. Want to be sworn in as A Canadian citizen while wearing a burka? No problem. This problem should have been nipped in the bud years ago, but our politically correctness is killing OUR way of life. Just wait until there's enough of them to have control over who becomes Prime Minister, then we are Really Fucked.
