So Columbia and the world should start deporting US passport holders and US citizens back to the US from their respective countries and decline Visas for Americans seeking to travel or work outside the US. The world can play that game as well. Plus imposing tariffs on US goods and services.

As a Brit I know many decent integrated Indians here. But none of them are recent arrivals. Older immigrants were respectful and wanted to be British and adopt British ways. But newer immigrants act as if we owe them something while acting in disrespectful dirty disgusting ways. For example in India I have to use Indian toilets as Indians do. I don’t pretend I don’t understand how to use them, I don’t need instructions on the door and I don’t break the toilet by standing on it, shytting up the walls and all over the floor and leave it there like that’s normal. I’ve worked in offices where this was routine when Indian contractors were brought in. Integrated Indian men seem to take great pride in dressing smartly and smelling good. But it’s really common for Indians to smell REALLY BAD. Poor personal hygiene plus excessive amounts of Indian food (you’re abroad ffs try some different food!) creates a truly vile odour. Some Indian men also think it acceptable to stare at and harass British girls (although to be fair they do not have as bad a reputation as their neighbours) they are also rude and racist to white people especially women. Some Indians in 2025 still seem to think they’re living under the Raj and Britain is ‘oppressing’ them. They’re not and we’re not. The empire brought benefits to India and left peacefully over 70 YEARS ago. We don’t owe you ANYTHING. This victim mentality means India will NEVER be a proper first world country. You can flood the world with sheer numbers but you will never be respected or improve the world in any way, you will only ever leech off the invention of others. I do not mean to disrespect the many decent Indian people I’m just telling the truth. As a culture your presence outside of India is negative because of the way so many Indians act, trying to create India wherever they go. And they have the cheek to say this is ok because they got colonised. WELL SO DID WE! That is the truth.

Wonder where we are concentrating these camps at? Most likely outside our borders.

Stay in our own country and make it great rather than going outside

From outside of the US, we can only watch as their current government is committed to the Nazification of America. Without any societal mechanisms to hold Trump and his community of miscreants accountable, this downward spiralling phenomenon may embolden equally as unfit for their roles in public office far-right parties in other parts of the world to do the same. I hope that there is time to stop this.

Fifth largest economy? so what? India still a developing country and need to respect others and also learn how to behave. You are superpower in India, not outside.

cheap outside labour needs to stop. Hire within and pay people what they deserve. This needs to be fixed. We have too many people to need jobs
|
| 2025-01-24 | 0 |
Here is not immigration issue, it is selling from Canadian jobs for foregners ....how many high skill canadians can't get jobs? because already sold for foreigners, for example MD position sold out for outsiders ...please look closely for company shortage of family doctors...thank you ❤ outsider MD doesn't have any requirements sufficient for being Canadian Physician

Canada should be more aggressive in her own policy......other way will be a play ground for outsiders...yes

So… does cutting staff means we can’t address those already here??? Is this intended to delay those being removed vs those outside coming in… how cynical.

I’m in Nova Scotia Canada,u had a school shooting not long ago where a cop stood outside waiting for backup while kids were dying inside,it bothers to this day,why a cop didn’t do something, cops here travel in two’s ,but if a cop here stood outside and did nothing,I wouldn’t want to be in his shoes,I’m sure he’d go missing

Visa rejection rate has always been high, the interview process is highly arbitrary. There is no logic to the rejection, it's dependent on on perception of the person interviewing and therefore can be highly biased. It's not right to assume and generalize that Indians are a nation of people where most have bad behaviour - this thought process is itself wrong. As an individual do any of us think that we travel just to indulge in reckless behavior? That is never a first thought - let's not generalize and have a better opinion of fellow citizens. We will be respected by outsiders if we first have respect and a positive opinion as regards each other.

Remember when Modi, Gondi media and his Bhakts were talking about how India’s image is so good outside ? “Modi me nam kar dia India ka” as an Indian American it always made me chuckle. ☠️

India gives visa to every nations whether visa free or e-visa but what did Indians get a que outside embassy
|
| 2025-01-21 | 0 |
As an Indian national residing outside India I'm saying that most of the time it's always the Indians turning out be the most worst or annoying tourists in a country due to the lack of civic sense, respect to public property and them being unaware or unwanting to follow rules of the countries... alongside their use of fake or unofficial documents used for obtaining the visa

I usually don’t have any complaints with who we are but we definitely misuse the opportunities presented outside the country. We like to brag and make noise for smaller achievements, ignorant of the rules thinking we are smart enough to dupe the system but the foreign authorities weren’t just paying attention to us until now. No civic sense no matter educated or not.

Rightfully so. India is considered great and a big economy. But outside, India is just a messy country with filthy people with no civic sense.

?????. Your blind nationalism won’t help . Again news without research. North Indians have contributed a lot to Indians reputation in and outside the country. This is one of them. \nBla bla bla channel.

I have lived in Canada most of my life. I've felt lonely here most of the time. It is a rich county but so isolating. It's hard to make friends as an adult. It's very multicultural so people don't make an effort to meet people outside of their circle. It got worse after the pandemic. If I could, as a black woman, I would move to Mexico but I can't afford to support myself there. My profession keeps me here in Canada, well-off financially, but lonely.

As an Indian living abroad I can say we don't have a very good reputation outside India, we are considered stinky bastards! which is not far from the truth.
|
| 2025-01-19 | 0 |
The reason is not economy. It's poplution and the amount of people want to trick system and settle outside. Given the poplution size, it's super risky for other countries to honour visas to us
|
| 2025-01-19 | 0 |
We can see the behaviour of our own people inside our country which they take with them when they travel outside. Total disregard of other people and their culture and way of life. I agree with some of the rejections due to improper behaviour.

Maybe cuz India is a shieethole with low skilled workers and a garbage educational system, we don’t need Indians outside of like working at McDonald’s lmfao the liberal gov was a lottery win for all of us

Palki: your program shows only part of the story. \n\nIndians are one of the most visible visa violators. You should know that in the US, we have 700,000 illegal immigrants, which includes people who are overstaying their given visa duration. \n\nOver 15% of the Indian population in the US are illegal aliens. \n\nBy giving such incomplete picture of the issue, you are only losing your credibility outside India as a Angrezi Indian TV program \n\nYou should do a series of programs on why Indians, in the middle of such promising growth, are so desperately wanting to leave India to Angrezi-speaking Gora countries. \n\nYou should dig a little deep into the issue. \n\nUK and France are under the grip of their social fabric being torn apart because of their own past errors and sins as empires. \n\nBelgium and Holland are already changed demographically with legal and illegal immigrants. \n\nCanada, Australia and NZ are threatened by Indian immigrants who have entered their counties under the guise of students. The populations of these countries are smaller than Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata metro populations. \n\nKollengode S Venkataraman

Our fundamentals such as civic sense not being honest or straight etc etc are prime concern for outsiders
|
| 2025-01-18 | 0 |
Starting to feel Palki is biased towards India than being an honest journalist. Did you even bother to check why Indian visas are getting rejected in these countries? What the rejection reasons were? \n\nAs many have already commented, I will put across a list for Palki -\n\n1. Indians are Indians even outside India, well, what good are you if you do not wish to be integrated and become part of the society? \n2. Do not like to research, and instead ask questions to save time which is bad manners.\n3. Complaining is in our blood about everything.\n4. Be respectful and be considerate of others.\n5. If you are applying for a tourist visa, be a tourist and should return when the visa expires. Get a good insurance which most of the time people are not un-aware.\n6. If you apply for student visa, be a student and do not exploit the visa or violate any rules and extend your visa stay.\n7. If you are hired for work, honour the work permit rules.\n8. Last but not the least, be a good citizena and don't do anything which may spoil your countries' image.

As an Indian, I support the rejections because the Indians that travel abroad do not know how to behave in civilized societies. They need lessons before going outside India. The NRI diaspora community is a great shame on India
|
| 2025-01-17 | 0 |
Civic sense is lost for half of the indian population. They should stay at home than lowering indian image outside world
|
| 2025-01-17 | 0 |
As someone who has lived outside India for decades, the recent immigrants and tourists to the west from the India are the primary cause of anti-India visa sentiments.
|
| 2025-01-17 | 0 |
Because our govt is not teaching compulsory civic sense training to those who are going outside country. Those already out there are already setting bad examples in the name of Indian and causing one of the major reason for your heading.
|
| 2025-01-17 | 0 |
India’s own visa policies are no easy for the outside world. The cost is at par in many cases even more than a Schengen or UK tourist visa. So there is parity in terms of visa requirements.

It's because india keeps bolstering worlds 5th largest economy to the world instead of quietly doing iur business. India shouts too much outside.
|
| 2025-01-16 | 0 |
We have like idiots and uncultured people outside. We shout like idiots, treat the locals poorly. I once saw a person who thought the air hostess in a Bhubaneswar- Thailand flight was a prostitute and started touching her and taking pictures. I had to look elsewhere in shame and hated for being born in India among such people. \n\nSo yeah, learn from Japanese or Thai or other well cultured people to behave well, be kind, have humility before asking for travel ease.

PLEASE TEACH PEOPLE HOW TO BEHAVE ABROAD AND NOT EMBARRASS INDIA ABROAD before they exit INDIA.\n\nI HAVE SEE, WE HAVE SEEN PEOPLE GIVING BAD NAME. MAKE PEOPLE BEHAVE OUTSIDE INDIA\n\nTELL THEM ACTION WILL BE TAKEN ON THEMAND THEIR FAMILY, \nIF THEY DO SOMETHING BAD ENOUGH TO ENBAREESS COUNTRY.

IT IS INEVITABLE INDIA'S PASSPORT STRENGTH WILL RISE IN TIME\nIf we keep tightening Hindu grip on India & making sure foreign abrahamics never get a foot hold in India, to derail Indian growth. There are lot of forces outside who want Hinduism snuffed out because Dharma is something these Adharmis cannot tolerate. Such is the character of evil.

as an NRI who lived in US, UK, and Canada, I can tell you that the so called developed nations are over hyped. Yes, there are so many things that are better in these countries compared to india, but all these countries lack one thing. Respect towards fellow human beings. I lived in several states in India, we have problems, but nothing compared to these countries. Indians don't belong outside of india. Don't go to any country out side of iindia...you are not welcome. I came back to india and I am living peacefully.

Other than behavioural attitude it depends upon the how the country projects the image to the outside world. \n\nSecond reason, more the people settling abroad more the rejection. Less the people settling down in abroad more the visa. \n\nI lived in GCC for many years they give visa easily to Europe and the US because these people go for pleasure trip and come back not to settle down

I support china in this case. They built west on their land. So, no need to travel outside. Rather, west now comes to China. India needs to do the same. We got talent but we are after money. Thanks to those who came back from west and is making India a beautiful place. Request the people of India to support the government and to do little in making India great again.
|
| 2025-01-16 | 0 |
Behavior of fellow Indians could be the main reason. Most of the people like to remain calm in most of the situations, but Indians take it granted.Talk very lould, play music with out headphones, try to stand before the flight stops, talk in authoritative language, expect immediate solutions when situation arouses, shouting on others, window shopping, disobey certain rules, Bargaining culture at some places where they not supposed to do etc. This behavior we have with us not only in India and we behave the same outside India as well. Government should start a course how they should behave in public places.

speak about the caste borders and religious boundaries internally, before pointing fingers outside India!
|
| 2025-01-16 | 0 |
Indians are peddled this dream that everything outside is a heaven since early childhood. They see pictures of skyscrapers in Manhattan, London and Frankfurt and think everyone is living like that outside. These people are further brainwashed by immigration agencies and disguised human traffickers to put lakhs or even crores on the line for just going outside. They sell their lands, properties and other assets just to be able to go out pursuing a misleading dream.\n\nThis is a problem especially in states like Punjab, Gujarat, Telangana, Andhra and Kerala, where most of the people still believe that it's better living outside than inside. These are not people who don't have anything in India but rather well-to-do families that have homes and assets and families in the country. \n\nThen comes the added Western bias and negative media image through propaganda. \n\nIndia has much work to do - if the country keeps complaining, nothing will get done.

Hi\nCan you let us know how many indians with tourist visa travel outside India and Never come back to india\nThis is the reason \nYou say India is best but sorry to say India is polluted \nSmells\nDictatorship \nCorrupt politicians \nMost government, police, civil servants workers take bribery .\nIf you open the doors for Indians to leave India then more than two thirds of Indians will leave today. \nDoesn't this tell you something\nYou can tell or impress others that you and india is good. \nEveryone knows the truth
|
| 2025-01-16 | 0 |
Palki you are not looking at the really core issue instead you are blaming other countries or governments. Don't be biased because of Indians. Look at why they are being rejected. Lot of Indians do not leave even the visa expires and illegal entry. Every country has a right to protect their country and people from outsiders.\n\nMost of the time Palki views are very biased. Please see Fareed Zakaria show once. He always gives unbiased opinion for an issue/problem/circumstances unlike you.
