I've been living in Toronto my whole life and for me personally I wouldn't live anywhere else in Canada! I've been to Quebec a bunch of times but that's about it. Our Country tries to promote for Canadians to travel and explore our own country but it's stupid expensive. Why would I pay for a flight to BC when for the same price and time spent on an airplane just go to Europe! I go to Europe every year because it offers a million more things to explore. The other thing that sucks about Canada (though it's beautiful) it doesn't have a lot of major cities and the ones we do have are very scarcely separated. I love living here but if I had to recommend this country to a tourist, I'd say meh just go see the US because it has the same and more.

My dream is to visit Toronto, Canada one day and see Niagara falls in person. Canada is such a beautiful place,

Saskatchewan has a high crime rate but almost no one lives there just dont go to prince albert or north battleford and your fine and it is beautiful weather anytime as long as there isnt much wind

I'm 44 year old male, I came to Canada age of ten from Nicaragua, I was about to leave and go back, I sold my house and rented for a bit before deciding to stay and buy in on port hope , beautiful little town. I almost have my place paid for and planning to buy a place in Nicaragua so I can have both worlds rather than just one

This is actually really well done. As a person from Saskatchewan, I didn’t expect to be as high on the list as we were. But I like it. To go with our temperature swings and high crime rate (I blame that on us being one of the most racist provinces), we also get tons of beautiful skies, a peaceful life with friendly people, and nature to check out ranging from sand dunes and badlands to northern pine forests.

Canada is a beautiful country and every place has it's perks and negative aspects. Have seen much of the eastern side of Canada and loved every place. Maybe one day I will be able to see the western side. Boy is this country big. Lived in Europe for a few years and visited so much places in so many countries where I have done pretty much the same distance in Canada and did not see half of the country yet.

Not sure where you got your info On Quebec but, housing in Montreal is unaffordable right now with the average rent for a three and a half apt is going for 1000.00 a month. If you can even find one. There are hundreds of families being put up in hotels by the city because they can't afford the rents or no appt available because of the greedy condo developers are turning everything into useless unaffordable condo's The houses are way out of reach for most young couples because the salaries here haven't been following the cost of living. We are the highest taxed province in all of Canada. They would slap a tax on air if they could. Yes Quebec is by far the most historical and beautiful province, but the language war and the divide that this has caused doesn't make it a friendly place. And let's not even touch the healthcare system. But after watching this , Nova scotia sounds like an amazing place to live. Food for thought.

I leave this country in a hurry because of the illegal and blackmailing vaccination mandatory. Such a thing does not go at all, that one nails people as HOSTAGE! As if you would rate the province of Quebec as #1! And yes, one had better learn French living there and forget about using English. This is the province where the October Crisis of 1970 took place. This is the province where English signs are on their way out. The Rock Machine biker gang started here, second only to the Hells Angels. This province bucks what others do, in many ways. For instance, if you marry in this province and you are a woman, the marriage license, unlike other provinces, doesn't allow you to change your birthname to that of your husband. Personally, I think that's a good rule, but I think it would tick off a lot of people. And this province makes no concession to being bilingual. They prefer French only. They're often wanting to separate from the rest of Canada. They will not allow certain types of workers from out of province to work in Quebec. Is it beautiful? Yes, very, but there is much beauty in all of Canada.

I lived everywhere in Canada except the Territories, Manitoba, and N.B., and I always come back to Quebec. It's NOT that it's better in everything. It's just that it's better in everything that counts for ME!!!\n- It's the CHEAPEST place to rent or own but has great wages and a high minimum. \n- Most of our cities are in the St-Lawrence valley. That means we have a LOT of local produce in-season. \n- We have a diversified economy. Less manufacturing and heavy stuff than Ontario, but LOTS of high-tech and knowledge-based jobs. With a HUGE service industry, bloated by the constant influx of tourists.\n- It's got the BEST quality of social life in the country. It's an all-year party and club season. \n- It's got FOUR real and distinct seasons.\n- It's almost as beautiful outside as BC. Until autumn and the colors, then it's better for a few weeks.\n- It's got the BEST social net in the country. \n- It's got the most beautiful women too. No question whatsoever about that one.\nAnd it's the SAFEST... That and being cheap to live in are the two main points. I'm bilingual, so I don't care about the French-only oddities, they are few and far between. It's 2021, not 1980. The Internet and Cable tv from the US changed EVERYTHING. ALL of the kids and young adults will answer you in English if you aren't acting like a jerk. So will almost anyone under 60.

I’d love to visit Atlantic Canada: all my friends here on the West Coast say it’s very nice. \nI loved living in Quebec and Montreal, but both cities are very cold in winter—and I don’t speak no french too good, hoste! \nI’m from Ontario. it probably was a beautiful place until white people got there. But it’s way too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. Most of my family has moved out to the West Coast. I guess they missed me.\nManitoba is very nice, but you’re right about cold winters and lots of mosquitoes in summer. Winnipeg is a fantastic city. The biggest city on the North American Plains.\nSouthwest Saskatchewan is absolutely beautiful. Nuff said.\nAlberta is one of my favourite provinces—just too bad about the goofy government they got there. I lived and worked there lots over the years. Many Albertans have moved out here to the West Coast to get away from the horrid politics there.\nBC is by far the best place to live. I live in the steep rain shadow of East Vancouver Island, nice and warm, short if any winter. All my friends live here. I used to live in Victoria—we might move back there—it’s my favourite city anywhere. Vancouver is a blast—but too big for me. I wouldn’t live anywhere else in this country but BC. \nFriends tell me Yukon is great but NWT’s Yellowknife is a hell-hole. I read a great online zine from Nunavut—Nunatsiaq. As close as I’m ever gonna get.\nSo you’re ranking is not very good from my perspective. Alberta sucks because of its dependence on bitumen—and it’s not “cyclical”, it’s doomed. Tons of crazy anti-vaxxers and religious right wingers, too. Quebec is wonderful, but too, too cold in winter. Plus muh french ain’t too good, eh...

Canada is what you make of it. You can arrive rich and end up poor and you can arrive poor and end up rich. In between that, you can have a great life that balances your needs. I’ve seen immigrants succeed simply because they see the opportunity in front of them . They worked hard in their own counties to stay just above the poverty line ,but when they apply that same effort here it pays off ten times greater. I feel that compared to a lot of immigrants, natural born Canadians come across as spoiled and a little lazy…we are. We haven’t had to struggle the same way someone from a poorer country might have. I’ve talked to people who’ve worked ten to twelve hours a day just to stay afloat. If you did that here you could make plenty of money to live and have some left over. As far as owning a house goes,yes it’s expensive . I feel that homeownership in any country is relatively expensive. Here is a tip; use that soaring home prices to your advantage. Houses are expensive but you can make a lot of money buying and selling. I recommend putting together a buyers group and share the house for a few years, then sell at a profit, buy a bigger house or two smaller houses.try to buy the worst house in the best neighbourhood and fix it up slowly . That house could double in value in five or six years in the Toronto market. This is nothing new of course ,the people from India and China seem to do this a lot here ,it drives up prices and profits. On the downside to this ,you are now part of the problem. As the housing prices are driven up the non wealthy can no longer afford to own a house . They are at the mercy of high rents with no rewards of ownership. They are caught in a cycle of hard work and (relative)poverty. This could also be you if you can’t keep up the house payments and are forced to rent.\nHow well you speak English is important but your native language is also useful here because Canada is half immigrants . As a Canadian that speaks only english (Irish descent)I have to say to all newcomers that I’m very impressed that you have learned a new language and that you may even speak more than two! Don’t be embarrassed about your abilities . I find that in my experience , Canadians do not look down on people just because they don’t know English. In fact ,I’ve known people that have lived here for decades and still know very little English. They are comfortable in their communities and they function just fine. Learn as much English as suits your needs and be proud of any gains you make.\nOutside of Toronto are other cities that you might consider when looking at southern Ontario.From my experience,most are generally the same, just not as big . There are large immigrant communities in London Ontario, Hamilton and just outside of Toronto where housing is just a little bit less expensive but the commute to work is probably longer. This is just my opinion but in the small towns there are less people of colour , (which is what people of no colour call everyone else . I wonder if I’m called a person of no colour in some other culture ? LoL ). That might make it harder for you to feel integrated ,if that’s what you want. I’m not saying that people from other cultures can’t make it in a small town , I’m just saying that it’s definitely not Toronto . Here, people of any nationality can feel like they have a place where they can belong . It seems that no matter where you are from ,there is a community already here that’s set up restaurants and stores and clothing shops and newcomer support systems. And if your from Portugal or China or India or Africa or the Middle East, there are large groups of your kin here that have established roots for generations and you probably know this already.\nToronto means meeting place and that becomes evident quickly. I was born here and it’s one of the things I love the most about my city. I’m not going to say that there isn’t systemic racism here ,the people of no colour still kind of keep the top position , but as we become a minority in a decade or so ,I hope that will shift to a broader spectrum. It’s certainly happening already. One good thing is that the police department tries to hire people of colour so that racialism may play a smaller role. We’re getting used to seeing our politicians more and more reflect their constituents.\nI have to talk about the weather. Because I’m from here I’m used to the extremes of minus thirty and plus thirty . Eventually you get used to it (somewhat). Dressing in the right clothes is important. Summer is easy , but winter is different. It’s trying to kill you. Spend the most that you can afford on winter cloths . If you can afford a quality parka you should get one. The hood can be drawn around the face and stay out of the wind.\nIf not ,think of layers with a outer layer that blocks the wind. We have things called long Johns that are basically full length thick cotton or nylon pants that go on under your pants and a pair of extra thick socks. Buy your boots to fit your thick socks. Try to get the best boots you can afford ,it’s something that you might spend a little extra for but never regret.\nAll in all we are a fairly organized and peaceful society. Most people are friendly and will give you a chance . We have a good social safety net here and you don’t have to be homeless or starving if you don’t want to. There are people and organizations set up to help ,that truly try to get people back on their feet. It’s a good investment that pays off in ways that matter for the quality of life in a big city. I’m not putting my American neighbours down when I say they do things differently. They have their ways ,we have ours. This is just something that we do because we’re trying to learn how to help those that society has discarded or can’t find their place. Sure we have one or two areas where the homeless have pitched tents and we have some resources for them if they want. Unfortunately The mayor recently forced a small camp to move from a very visible place to more scattered locations. There were social workers involved as well as protesters trying to protect them. I didn’t like that happening and I want to see even more resources dedicated to them ,but on the other hand ,we are trying to avoid something like what happens on the streets when it’s just ignored. When I see YouTube videos of the streets of Philadelphia I’m extremely saddened. I thank the lucky stars that I was born in Toronto Canada.\nFor all it’s pollution and expense and crowds ,I think it’s a great place to do almost anything your heart desires . For every ugly building there is a beautiful park ,for every honked horn there is a birds call , for every cold and dark day there is beautiful sunny one around the corner.

I took all my money out of Canadian banks and moved it to Morocco.\nYou can buy a condo on the beach for $70,000 - $100,000. \n\nThe further up north you go the more it costs. \nCheck out Casablanca beautiful city. Low cost of living, amazing weather it never snows and best of all.. 0% taxes here on business.\n\nBusiness is booming here. Everything is open, no one is worried about the plandemic here. Coffee shops, restaurants, even bars which i never thought this country would have lol. This country is the best in Africa in my opinion. Rich country, rich culture, friendly and generous people. Everyone wants to be friends with the Canadian here and invite you to their homes.\n\nIn Canada people won't even greet you let alone invite you to their homes and feed you ?

This White Canadian way is what needs to leave Canada. I would love to explore the Northern part of the continent I live on, but the colonial country of Canada just has a disgusting influence on this region of the world. Would rather travel in Russia or Northern Europe at this point. Forget about me moving there. Way too late for that one Canada don’t care if I was Canada’s greatest hope past what Canada thought of me I wouldn’t take payment to live in Canada. An absolutely disgusting country built on the beautiful burial grounds of the people who actually belonged there.

It is such a shame that follow Asians and even American Natives play such a role in perpetuating racism against African descent people, but I guess they have their issues of identity. Real shame nonetheless, but one thing at the time, we still have a bigger hurdle to overcome.\n \nOf course, it is still not easy to be a black woman, man or child today. Sadly our mothers are still crying for their children being killed or overly punished by the police institution, our kids are still targeted if not simply despised for being beautiful, bright, talented, lively and brilliant beings with deeper skin tonalities, and hair that speaks for us otherwise. It is still dangerous because there is so much hatred across the world against us as we are coming to understand. And hatred is unpredictable. It comes in different ugly shapes. \n\nAfrican descent people are institutionally exposed to a lack of opportunities based on race, leading to the disproportionate poverty levels in our communities, and poverty brings your far closer to crime. That should not be so difficult to calculate. We're faced with higher mortality and disease rates, covid 19 has rubbed that to our eyes, care systems medical world is in less favour and neglect black communities. On a day-to-day, I am so insulted about the security guard that follows me in the shop, it is so disrespectful and embarrassing, that makes me move suspiciously indeed, yet so low and ignorant I don't even want to have to confront the issue. \n\nI agree with the writer who writes about his experience (and shame?) of being a black man in Canada- the same is institutionally reflected in Europe and across the world let's not be naive, we're not welcome but they should know they have no choice. I believe what he really is trying to express is based on the fear of being a black man in a hostile environment, but we should certainly have nothing to be ashamed of. \n\nOn contrary, we should be very proud because we are still here, like any other citizens paying our taxes and playing positive roles in society by major. We have positive role models are everywhere, from the single mother raising her children with force and determination to the black father who teaches at a local school, from the black girl who's achieved top grades to university to the black young man who's been headhunted from the medical school. And all of us who are just trying. \n\nLook closely. While the media will continue to do its good job demonising and stereotyping us negatively, let's not forget that we are real people with real accomplishments who have always made impactful contributions to society. \n\nHere's the thing, we are admired, loved and celebrated because of the brilliance, talent, charisma, swag and wealth we bring to contemporary culture. Everyone consumes black culture, from the filler lip service to the quick fix tan, from rock and roll to hip hop and RnB music, to sports athletes to the amazing creators out there, no need to mention names. But, we also are doctors, politicians, judges nurses, waiters, carers, scientists, builders, bankers, entrepreneurs, employees or unemployed. \n\nSadly on a day-to-day, we are not viewed as equal people, with equal rights and needs, who, by large, just want the good for our children, our families, neighbours and indeed countries. STOP INSTITUTIONAL RACISM. We are real mothers, real fathers, real children who have a birthright to equal treatment, respect and human dignity, whether or not you choose to disagree.

In the 21st century, many Canadians are also quite against Christians, though this is the basis for the underlying principles of kindness, goodness, and love that has made the Western World so attractive to many peoples around the world, and has made Canada a haven for many. This is quite a shame on Canada. While loving and blessing others, Canada should NEVER forget her own (Natives and Christians); neither should she forget her good foundations that has made her peaceful, wealthy, and stress free over the centuries. I have had to rescue a white co-worker one time, because she was ill treated by immigrants in the workplace, who thought she was not SMART enough and FAST enough for their purpose. This is a beautiful, gentile white lady, whose parents helped to build Canada. Shame on Canada. It is good to bless others, but at what cost? Selling out your good foundations? Forgetting your own peoples who do not have degrees like others. Shame on Canada for allowing these actions. Canada, rebuild your good foundations.

I am a powerful woman raised by my grandparents and my parents in an amazing family. I identify myself as a woman of colour, amazing colour, it embraces me and reflects back my beauty for all around me to see. We were given every opportunity to explore the world where we lived and had passion for reading books, I was encouraged to explore so much of the world and ideologies. Issues of racism existed around me and this was unquestionable, but we had a safe place in a family with committed parents to develop and make our mark on the world. How refreshing to explore the world from a safe place and our parents especially my father encouraged us to mix with people of all cultures, because he firmly believed and I also believe there is only one race, the human race. We look different on the outside but let’s enjoy the fact that God made of one flesh all people. So, impressed with my amazing grandparents and parents... I love myself and I love the world that we live in, even though everyone is not perfect, we are are amazing. I was born in Jamaica, raised in England, UK, and now live in Canada.

Hello, I just watched your video. Three years after you made it. I hope you are still with us and a very belated Welcome. Many people throughout the world seem to have so many stereotypes about Americans. Whether it is good or bad there typically is some truth in a stereotype. Overall it seems like you are enjoying yourself and no matter what there is no place like home. I would think no matter what your current situation is you still miss Canada as I would miss the United States if I were to move to Canada. \nA couple things you mentioned in the video were not correct and as with anything there may be a little truth in the matter but yet still incorrect.\nThose who do not have health insurance are not charged or taxed $150 monthly. There is a provision in the affordable care act (ACA) that penalizes certain individuals who make above a certain dollar amount. The amount is either $150 or $300 for the entire year. I concur any monetary penalty against anyone for not having health insurance is outrageous. I could be wrong but I believe this aspect of the ACA was never implemented under President Obama and it was indefinitely suspended or revoked by President Trump. I also feel like I need to address your thoughts about the United States all about war. I believe the American people are like most other people and want peace and civility. The government and major defense contractors have differing opinions at times. Of course there is plenty of people who are war hawks but they are in the minority. Most of us are absolutely sick of war. We currently have been at war for almost 19 years. That's six complete world war 2's in their entirety. \nI think you were being awfully generous when you said obesity is on par with the rest of the world!! Unfortunately there is far to many fat people here and the problem is only getting worse because the media says be happy and proud you are fat. Celebrating obesity is absolutely insane and it sends the wrong message to young people. If a close one is fat of course I love them but I also tell them privately that they are a walking heart attack. It's more than OK to accept someone the way they are but as a friend or family member you doing them a disservice by not mentioning their obesity. \nI'm sorry if you feel I'm being to harsh or critical. I think it is a wonderful thing to share the world's longest border with such a great nation as Canada. I have always thought Canada was like the United States fraternal brother or sister. We are very much alike with a few beautiful differences that distinguishes from one another. It doesn't appear that you upload videos hear anymore but I hope you get the opportunity to read this. U people wud be surprised wen I tell u this that v in Pakistan’s don’t hav shariah law. These ppl cant impose shariah in their own lands wat makes them think they can do it in somone else’s. You're lucky if you can even find a LEGAL small 1 bedroom basement for $800/month. Its not common. \nA car? Brampton has the highest insurance premium in all of Canada. \n\nDon't get me wrong. I LOVE Canada, I couldn't see myself living anywhere else because it is my home. \nHowever, when you compare it to india, in India you're only paying for electricity, gas, and food that you need to buy at the grocery store. \nBut if you really needed to budget and save money, food is LITERALLY growing in your backyard! All the veggies, fruits, etc. You just need to buy the grains and proteins! \n1.5 lakhs sounds great per month. But 1.5 lakhs is realistically not enough to live in Canada. \n\nDon't believe me? Google cost of living in Canada. Google how much a family of 4 would need to make to survive per month in Canada. Also, make sure to check out CANADIAN WEBSITES for this data. (.ca sites or try Global News or CTV news since they have this data)\n\nThe problem is everyone that comes to Canada always comes only to one area which is usually Toronto! However this makes the cost of living go up to accommodate this many people. Compared to Regina, or St. John's not many people immigrate there! It is a smaller city compared to Toronto but at least it's more affordable.\nDo you're research before coming here. Find out whats the best situation for YOUR FAMILY and what YOU can afford. \nCanada is a beautiful place, and yes, Brampton does have a lot of the Punjab culture, but don't be fooled. Be prepared when you come to Canada so you don't have such set backs once here. \n\nHope this helps!!

People feel if they can eliminate another their life might finally fall in place. Hurt people hurt people. I say things that are not right but I’m learning not to, I put myself in the other person shoes. mPeople will eat(cook their food in a restaurant)from somebody of color but want live or sit next to them. I wish it was talked about more, seeing Trudeau's beautiful tweets most people run up to Canada expecting that they will be welcome to open arms, the reality is that 70-80 will be deported. It is sad for every one especially the people that really needs asylum. It is so sad that we live in such an unequal world. I really blame it a lot on Trudeau, be strong and honest mate instead of a wet lettuce that lies to look compassionate.

I love Canada...Going hiking in Banf is one of mine and Michael's favorite things to do..Lake Louise and Lake Morraine is off the charts beautiful!!! Such beauty there!!! I also love the US..Hawaii is da place to be!!!

I think Najabs are a great a fret a problem all over the world. It should not be a choice, seperates them from all things, Why be aftriad to stand up without the Najab at all I sit with one women on the bus! But I feel sorry for her and a beautiful face behind it! I kept quiet, but I still hate them wearing it? It is a violation, not spiritual they were mistreated and forced. I don't mean to be rude but how is burqa a choice? Why would anyone want to dress up in a black robe covering from head to toe, except eyes and sometimes eyes too? I know it's religious thing but how can one make it a personal choice to wear it? That too women? It's ok for men, they only have so many colours in their attire to choose, but women? Seriously? I think burqa should be for Muslim men who are ok with wearing the same colour everyday (in general). I like hijab, the head scarf, it comes in so many colours and it's so pretty, hijab makes you beautiful. Not burqa or niqab.
