Really good video. But as a Canadian, I also want to mention foreign workers. Foreign workers have a lower minimum wage than Canadians. This makes it nearly impossible for young Canadians to find jobs, as companies which you would think would mostly hire teens (Fast food) just wait until a foreign worker steps up. Go to the US, you see a McDonald's with a bunch of teens in it, go to Canada, and that McDonald's has only foreign workers in it.

This is one of the worst journalism I have come across in recent times. The host is highly opinionated with little to no research at all. The host chose to interview some homeless people roaming around the church for opinions about the immigration. These people choose to become addicted to drugs, which led to become homeless. The host is standing right in front of the city of Brampton office but won’t make a small effort to interview the officials. There should be some kind of credibility to all those people who talking about immigration issues. The host uses terms like monkey man to refer to a Hindu god. This shows how much he is under researched, racist and most of all uneducated. Those Indian kids in the video appeared much composed and decent compared to any of the pot heads you interviewed. \n\nWith such a host quality I don’t think any officials would even give him the time to interview.

While affordability is def an issue there are a number of facts thrown around on this video that are making me question the data points being used. $3k rent sure, if you're downtown Vancouver and live on your own in a newer building with amenities which is what a friend of mine pays in Yaletown. But then I have a friends in KITS paying $1600, Main St $1500, Surrey $1100. There is not 7% of the population emigrating to the US. The rent can't be increased by $7000 as stated by the two girls, it's capped at around 3% annually, so not sure what the real context around that clip is. The girl who took a year to get housing at UBC - presumably she was renting somewhere else in Vancouver, I doubt she was living out of her car . Sounds like this was made with the most sensational examples which really undercts the video because I can't trust the other information about things I don't directly know. Having said that red tape has made building in Vancouver difficult and population growth has put huge pressure on the housing and rental market. Foreign investment purchases of housing has probably driven up the prices more than anything in Vancouver and as stated it has been linked to money laundering from drug money. It's the most expensive city in Canada btw, so while prices are high across the country, Vancouver is the worst of the lot, even worse than Toronto, so hardly an average example to look at.

Interesting numbers in this video. Good info to hear about. But the attempt to blame all this squarely on Trudeau makes the video look very biased. Some of these same problems were here decades ago, well before Trudeau. Some of these factors maybe didn't get helped under Trudeau, and some maybe were caused by him. But with the twinge of 'lets blame all on Trudeau' it takes away from your video looking unbiased.

I can tell you one of the major reasons. It is the fact that these immigrants from India do not want to assimilate into Canada. Instead they bring their ways with them into Canada and some of those “ways”, are not acceptable in Canada. One example of that is the whole using the bathroom on the beach. But one that hits hard for me is the insane amount of immigrants that are harvesting spawning salmon with nets, without any of the properly paperwork that is needed to fish salmon with a rod. Using a net is illegal, I know they know it because when I catch them doing this. They become quiet and all of a sudden, after hearing them just speaking English, they pretend they do not know English… I can tell you this is all true. The other thing I have seen with my eyes is shop lifting from the local grocery store. I have never seen that before, not ever in all my years living here. It would be somewhat different if they were stealing essential items and essential foods. But they are not doing that, they are stealing all the luxury items. I am a white Canadian and I am proud of it, but guess what. I am also proud of the fact that I have a doctor that came from India and his family is thriving here. It makes me proud that he chose our country try to come to, with his educational background, it also makes me proud that he and his family have taken the time to try and assimilate into our culture. When I say assimilate by the way, I do not want them or and immigrant to completely abandon their cultures, I just would prefer it if they assimilate to the point where we can have a healthy community instead of all these separate cultural areas in our towns and cities. I love the fact that you spoke some harsh truths here sir, much respect to you and your family sir. I hope you can continue making such informative videos for people to learn from. The other thing I have to add is that the word racism is thrown around too much and too easily in our current woke cultural climate here in Canada and this is just making the immigration issues worse because it produces a culture of fear for those Canadians that would like to help educate those immigrants that need help. But they do not do so because they are afraid of being labeled a racist or some other word and having their livelihoods and overall lives ruined. I am in a position in life where I do not care if people want to say such things about me. I am also well educated and in the position to come up with well articulated arguments in my defence. My main issue with immigration that bothers me more than the rest not only affects us Canadians but also affects the immigrants as well. Ok so before mass immigration was a thing here in Canada our healthcare system that we all used to be extremely proud of the as showing too many cracks and we knew it was falling apart. You think the government would place more funding into the healthcare system. Well that has not happened and if anything they have taken more funds away from our healthcare system than any other time in our country’s history. So before the mass immigration begun we had a major issue with having way too many patients and not enough medical staff to adequately treat everyone in a timely and healthy manner. So now think about that, the healthcare system was already stressed with the current population before mass immigration. How do you think adding waves and waves of more people every year via mass immigration is affecting that system? The answer is this… if the system was stressed beforehand, it is collapsing now. I am one of the lucky few that has a family doctor right now. It takes three months the just for me to see her… If I have an emergency and have to call 911, the ambulance will take me up to the local ER and then I will be wheeled out to the waiting room, which defeats the purpose of me calling 911 for a ambulance. I have waited two days at the local ER just to see a doctor. So here is where it affects the immigrants coming in. If a Canadian that was here before you is already having major issues with the healthcare, then I can only imagine how hard it will be for a new citizen to our country, nuff said really… the local er near me had a person die in the waiting room this past January. Add to this fact that I am actually pretty sick at the moment and so are my parents and you can understand why I am upset about our failing healthcare system. The politicians do not have to worry about our such issues though because they can afford to pay to go outside of Canada and pay cold hard cash for medical treatment. That is why they do not mind removing funds from our healthcare system, it will not affect them and they get to line their pockets with more of our tax money… I honestly place most of the blame for what is going on right now on Trudeau’s government and not the immigrants. The immigrants could help make this crappy situation a lot better for both of our parties though if they tried a little harder to adapt to our ways of life here. When in Canada try to live like a Canadian, I do not think that is asking much. Again, as for racism, I believe in judging a person by their actions and not by the colour of their skin. Racism is such an antiquated way of thinking… Our skin colours maybe different, just like our cultural backgrounds, but after all is said and done we are all members of the human race. There is one other reason that hatred towards member of your country is going up and it is simply because our hatred for our own government is so high right now and we are all only human. Hi… I totally agree with just about everything you stated in all aspects of the Indian community. I’m a Canadian who happens to be living in Brampton for the past 12 years. I’ve watched Brampton go from a beautiful community to a dark dreaded place to live , and this is truly because of Indian behaviours. Mind you I have many genuinely good intelligent respectful Indian friends, but there’s the others that thinks they owe the city, province, and country. They don’t respect no one, and I mean no one. NOT EVEN THEIR OWN KIND (Indians/ Punjab). And yes as a Canadian citizen whenever I see something I do call them out on it. However; the moment you say something to them they assume that you’re cursing at them and what was ment to be a respectful comment becomes a situation where they want to argue and even get into a physical fight. Then there’s the bad, careless driving on the streets with no regards to the next person’s life. They drive like their car is the only one on the street yet always looking for someone to race with not to mention the illegal U-TURN creating major accidents. I personally experienced this when a Tractor Trailer Driver tried making a U-TURN on the city street with only 4 lanes for both direction at 4AM in the morning. This caused me to almost ran under the trailer body which would have been the end of my life. They butt into lines and interrupts as much as business conversations thinking their concerns are way more important than anyone else’s and That’s just to name a few things.\nNow on the other hand I do have VERY GOOD RESPECTFUL INDIAN FRIENDS who I will never let go of our friendship because of their genuine respectful relationship although even those close friends are now pulling themselves away from their own country people and all because of the others behaviour.\nThirdly; YES, the Canadian government invites foreign students into the country with improper sources to monitor and direct a governing body to monitor and process the activities of foreign students .\n\nI love your honesty in your stories back your video clips as proof of your country men behaviour. This type of video is fodder for the right wing nuts who think the grass is greener in other countries they’ve never been to. Good for you for doing something you want to do but Canada is a great country and I think you do us a disservice to the people who are staying and trying to make it better.
