Canada...\nI am so, so sorry. I am humiliated, horrified, appalled, embarrassed, furious, and so so sad. Please know it isn't all of us. I am a Detroiter who has spent half her life in Ontario and Quebec. I will continue to buy Canadian products and will spend as much of my American money in Canada as I possibly can. I support Canada and encourage you to do whatever it is you need to do. I love you, Canada!

While a belligerent Atlanticist imperialism is becoming a thing of the past, in the meantime; asserting that Zelensky does not want peace and thereby implying that America does want peace is classic Trump spin. What America really wants is victory over Russia and eventually China. Having failed against Russia using Ukraine as it's proxy army, a Trump administration discards Zelensky's Ukraine while cleverly deceiving most observers that Zelensky is the only one interested in continuing the war. Contemporary Atlanticist imperialism in the form of a Tump administration is deliberately and deceptively stepping back from it's Ukraine project to prepare it's next - albeit doomed to fail; project aimed at victory over Russia and eventually China.

Donald Trump, as a U.S. President, was not sincere. During his campaign, he falsely claimed that people in the U.S. eat cats and dogs, a statement that has no truth to it. After becoming president, he continued to use the issue of fentanyl as a justification for imposing tariffs on Canada. His actions suggest that he is not genuinely interested in moving the country forward but rather using tariffs as an excuse, which could ultimately harm Americans

Everyone is guilty of dealing with Russia, including Canada, Europe & the USA. Europe got hooked on Putins energy, and the west continues to buy from Russia! Fertilizers, uranium, metals, just till recently the world was buying grains from Russia ?? to! And everyone was still rubbing shoulder with Putin as long as it fit them.

Harper, Conservative raised the retirement age to 67 and he changed the law to allow foreign govts to own more than 50% of Canadian companies. These young CanMagas don’t know about our history. I am American and as an independent i truly apologize ,and im ashamed in out elected leader and the incapable cabinet . i did not vote for him and i hope we can get control of our house again from this nuthouse i wish u well and hope that we can all get through this together instead of allowing him to continue to decide. Ok I need some help understanding this. If it’s a dumb idea for the US then why isn’t it a dumb idea for Canada too? As I understand it, the US tariffs mean things imported from Canada get a few slapped on top and that is paid by Americans, to discourage them from buying Canadians things. Why wouldn’t Canada continue importing US things as before and not put extra fees on top, so they don’t have to find new suppliers and cause disruption? Then it is just America punching itself in the face not both of them.

Over the past week or so a huge deterioration with Ukraine, a huge deterioration with Europe, a huge deterioration with NATO and a huge deterioration with Mexico. And I'm sure I'm missing quite a few more nations. All that coupled with many other matters in US domestic and foreign policies point to the continuation of the irreversible decline of the American empire in my view.
